This neighbourhood Haitain restaurant is a mixed experience. My man is holding this place down as a one man show. The wait could get a bit long, and the place isn't as polished as it could be, but if you actually get to talk to him he's an honest, hard working man trying to make it. He is doing a lot by himself and I respect him for that. The food was bomb I'm not even glazing, freshly prepared and it was worth the wait. My one complaint is that I only got a single piece of plantain. The meat was fantastically seasoned though and the rice was tasty too. Awesome plate overall. Price was average.

Worst uber restaurant experience. They fried the meat till it was like a frayed rock the DjonDjon rice was green and they didn't use Djondjon mushrooms if they did the rice would have benn colored black not green iand I know the taste of Djondjon nstead of more Griot they ripped me off with a box of more faje djondjon green rice.Never again the meal was fit for Haiti's national penitentiary..I asked in french no fat what did they do fry a glob of fat and mixed it in with the rock hard fried meat to fool me .I ate a bit then threw it out in the garbage where there food belongs.Sound after eating a few bites..Yuchhh Yechh.

Took some time but it’s so good, not easy to get good Haitian food in Montreal but this place is it.

By far one of the best Haitian food I’ve had and I highly recommend it! Not only was the food delicious but for the price it was amazing! The lady was welcoming and the service was fast for a drop in takeout order we waited less than 10 minutes for 2 plates! And she was nice enough to ask how we wanted our order! The place has plenty of booths to dine in and there’s air conditioning for those hot summer days! They also deliver and do large orders for those having bbq parties. Definitely going back for more!!! Enjoy 😉

From Vancouver with love. We stumbled upon this place due to a extremely hungry Asian individual. We all agreed to try it out. We have never tried Haitian food and my god were We impressed. The rice was amazing, trust me were Asian. I personally ordered the Goat with Rice and omg was it extremely tender and flavorful. The owner Jo is very friendly, nice, and accommodating even when he was all on his own. He took our order and cooked the food. It took a bit long but it makes sense since he was alone. For a group of 8 to walk in at 2am, it was an amazing experience. Haitian food has now made it to one of my favorite cuisines. Time to find one similar on Vancouver!

First time trying Haitian food and man was it delicious!! Got the pork with rice and would highly recommend it to others. Ended up eating there twice in our short stay in Montreal and would definitely go back next time we visit.
