Where To Eat Outside In Fort Worth - Dallas - The Infatuation

"The story behind Chef Point is the stuff of legend. It began as a little restaurant within a gas station, but the quality of the food didn’t fit its humble surroundings. The juxtaposition of elevated comfort food - like lobster mac and cheese, blackened pork chops, and a famous bread pudding - in a more casual setting helped Chef Point gain a local fanbase and national attention. Now years later, Chef Point has expanded into an expansive restaurant and patio, with locations in north Fort Worth and Colleyville." - Emily Smith

Wow, wow, WOW!!! What a gem! Was so impressed with this place! Truly 5-Star Cuisine. Possibly one of the best servers I have ever had as well! We started out with the Mimosa Flight, a bottle of Champagne and 4 different fruit juices! So cool! Then we had the stuffed mushrooms, Stuffed, Blackened Chicken breast with Lobster, Crab and cheese. Finished it up with the amazing Bread pudding! This place started in a gas station and still looks like it from the outside, but boy is that facade only skin deep! You are treated like royalty here! Can't wait to go back!!!

The Prices were well worth it, being that you pay for what get and the Meal portion were on point. My wife and I didn't make it pass the Appetizers, but I did taste my main course before boxing it up to go. The Food was Magnificent and the story line leading up to this restaurant was a true definition of not giving up. I applaud that young man and the string women (wife) who stood with him to help this experience take place. Inspired Taste filled with Passion, Love, dedication and Sacrifice. In this World you receive Blessings and it's truly coming in full circle to have had Chef Nwahee share his kitchen with our society. An experience that if you have an opportunity, you should Indulge in this Hidden Gem of Top Chef Dining in North Dallas, In the town of Watauga. Please Support we need places like this. I can't end this without saying the Management and Wait Staff are next level, compared to A 10 Star Fine Dining Establishment. Thank you for sharing in my experience.

We had a great experience here. We went on a sunday when they had their comfort food menu. I had the mimosa flight which came with 4 juices and an entire bottle of champagne. The fried green tomatoes were delicious as was the ox tail and the hot brown was gone in the blink of an eye. Would absolutely come back again.

My Husband and I went for Valentine’s day 2022dinner here . We didn’t have plans to go anywhere earlier but last moment wanted to go for dinner, on restaurant’s website we were able to book table for 2. And got text confirmation right away. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for past 9 yrs i am living in the area. It looks like a gas station from outside but no gas pumps are there instead there is parking. We were seated right away, our server Lance was very attentive and detail oriented. He wore mask 😷 all the time. We ordered Mimosa flight with 4 fruit juices. Hawaiian Salmon and Shrimp pasta were great and arrived pretty quick. These were from a special Valentine’s menu. I have heard they have rotating Menu so that makes it an interesting place. Bread pudding was out of the word and was piping hot. We really enjoyed the vibe as most of the couples were there for Valentine’s dinner and dressed pretty. It was red and pink on every table. Restaurant has its own parking lot that was pretty packed when we arrived around 6:30 pm. But we got a nice spot and had multiple spots available! Didn’t use restrooms so no idea how they were. We enjoyed our Valentine’s dinner a lot and will go back again to try Bloody Mary that looked pretty loaded. The check had a bar code to do online payment so it made it easy and quick to use Apple Pay!

Second time here, ordered drinks and water cup had pink lipstick on it. Server took it back and brought cleaner cup. You would think after the dirty water cup incident that more attention to detail would be paid going forward. Ordered mimosa flight and champagne glasses were dirty as in picture. Ordered coke for child and it came in huge cup as pictured I was expecting small kid sized cup with lid. Oh well. Ordered chicken and waffles, which my daughter said was delicious and granddaughter said her angel hair pasta w/alfredo sauce was "delish"hence the 3 🌟's. I had the lobster bisque in bread bowl and I swear all the "lobster" was on the bread as in picture. I tried to add video I took to show there was No lobster in the bisque (although it was flavorful and the bread was good). I will try to upload video to show that it was lobster-less. Mimosa flight juices were good. More than likely won't dine here again.

SO good! The Monte Cristo is the best in DFW! It was a great experience and we can't wait to go back! • The fries are absolutely worth the money; if it's your first time make sure that you try them. • The service was great! We never had to wait or ask for anything. • Prices are very fair. • The bread pudding was delicious! I am not a connoisseur of bread pudding and so I was surprised at how much I liked this one. • The water tasted good. It's a weird thing to report on, but it's off-putting when you go to a restaurant and the water tastes dirty. • The fried mozzarella was also the best I've ever had. It tasted fresh and was way better than any mozzarella stick I've ever eaten. *They also have a "chef's special" menu that I assume frequently changes. It had things like chicken fried steak and paella on it, which aren't posted online.

Forgot about us for about 15min the came out and admitted they weren't told we were her customers! It was a very slow dining process! We were even able to watch a waitress give an older couple a Momisa off of another table because another couple didn't drink it! We've had better here!

First I have to say...this place is unassuming from the outside. But when you crest the doors and feel the atmosphere things change. You will question the hype. There is no hype. Chef's Point is down to one thing...amazing food. From the stuffed mushrooms, to the wine... and the main course. Just amazing.
