We enjoyed having lunch at this place. The truffle fries were so good! The sandwiches were also pretty good — a little messy, but flavorful. Friendly and good service.

This is a positive review not a negative one, read on! We visited for lunch after the Remembrance ceremony on 11th. The place was swamped with people and they weren't expecting so many. The server apologized and said there would be a long wait for the food. He was overwhelmed, as was the kitchen. We appreciated his honesty and we were OK to wait. We were glad we did because the special burger and fries was superb, and such good value. One of the best burgers for ages! When we left we thanked the chef who was busily creating excellent food under pressure. So this place deserves your business because they worked really hard to make great fresh food and they were humble and polite.

Beautiful day for an outdoor lunch. The food was incredible and the server was very sweet. Thought my GPS was taking me on a journey to nowhere, but it did bring me to this hidden gem. The bison burger was delicious and messy, but the server brought extra napkins without prompting lol. Definitely recommend.

Five stars is not enough for Chefs N Farmer's! I would give it 10 stars if I could. If you haven't been here yet, you must try it! The food is consistently incredible. Very rarely have I experienced quality like this at a restaurant. The calamari, bison burger, chicken sandwich, and tuna poke bowl all are must-haves. The service is what takes it above 5 stars. We had a fantastic experience on our date night. The server went above and beyond to make our night special, and the chef even stopped by our table to introduce himself and thank us for coming in. If you're looking for a restaurant that stands out from the rest, I'd highly recommend this place!

I have walked by this place many times, and finally made it in! Cute little restaurant. The lemonade was delicious! Service was great. Burger was so so so good.

i had my wedding dinner here! the food was awesome and the atmosphere as well, the only issue is with the custom cake i ordered (they offered.) i asked for lemon blueberry cake layered with lemon and white cream cheese frosting with blue and green ACCENTS. i got uhhh. this instead. (i’m allergic to strawberries) overall, would recommend, the food i couldnt eat was awesome (i was full) the service was amazing, they change the music for you if you ask! just wish my cake was what i wanted

This restaurant is a great little place, above a tennis club, near Glenmore reservoir, it was a complete surprise to find. Why? It’s locally owned and operated and the chef makes a gourmet menu. Such care and attention to each selection. I’ve tried the salads with added blackened chicken. I’ve had the tofu, and the spaghetti bolognese. It’s pretty amazing. The prices are entirely reasonable and there are even some happy hour appetizers at 25% off. Friendly place!

We have been to Chef n Farmers 4 or 5 times now. We can honestly say we haven’t a bad meal. Today was no different, we tried brunch and all four of us said our dishes were fantastic. Fresh and the presentation is always great. We love the charm of this restaurant and the service is awesome. The bacon jam was one of the best toppings ever.

Our meal here was fantastic. Both the C&F Blend and Bison burgers were juicy with lots of top quality fixings. We chose the salad instead of fries and were rewarded with garden fresh ingredients and delicious light dressing. Despite the good reviews, we almost passed on Chefs N Farmers as we were nervous this might be an extension of the Tennis Club serving mediocre food. That is not the case. Everything is made in-house with locally sourced ingredients. We will be back.

This place is a hidden gem, and those in the neighbourhood are so lucky to have this wonderful restaurant nearby. It is located just south of the Glenmore athletic fields, and is above the tennis club. But don't let the location throw you off - the food and the service are better than you can find downtown. They have an excellent drink menu with many high quality and interesting options. They even had fresh homemade Mango Iced Tea, which was very yummy. The Porcini Arancini was absolutely delicious - I have never had this dish before anywhere, and I really was blown away by the flavor. I saw photos of it on their Instagram page, and decided that I had to try it, and it was a good decision. The Spaghetti Bolognese was very delicious as well. Sadly, we did not have room for dessert, but they make their own ice cream and I plan to try that next time. Our server Harsh was incredible. He was so welcoming, and so ready to answer questions and provide suggestions. He is one of the happiest and friendliest servers - he took very good care of us, and I will go back again for the excellent service (and the yummy food). I sort of did not want to give a review, as this place is such a great secret to keep to myself, but I think the chef and the staff are working very hard and they deserve to be very successful.
