Wow! Attended a friends wedding and the selection of food was unbelievable. Best part was everything and I mean everything tasted fantastic and was hot very freshly cooked to perfection! Even the what seemed to be simple appetizers were just incredible in flavor profiles. The Chef I learned later, was formally trained at Johnson & Wales Culinary Arts college, and also was head Chef at a famous 5 Star restaurant in Marina Del Rey, California for a number of years before he opened his phenomenal catering business. The serving staff took great care of us like a very high end restaurant would as well!!! I say 5 out of 5 Stars all the way!!! Huge Kudos to Chef’s Table Catering!!!

Mike & Becky catered a joint Birthday party for my husband and myself at our home for 50 people. They came out a couple days before to walk through where to set up, etc. The service at the party was flawless and the best part was we didn't have to worry about anything. The food was amazing and the flaming donut station was a huge hit! Would hire them again in a minute!!

We got married at Rava in Paso Robles on 5/10/25 and Chef's Table absolutely knocked it out of the park with their catering service. When our planner learned we had booked Chef's Table, she immediately smiled and told us we made a great choice-- she was right! First of all, they are so easy to work with and very responsive over email. We made a bunch of changes throughout the planning process and Becky was open to all of it and would always promptly send an updated menu and invoice. Incredibly professional and reliable, which was so appreciated during the whirlwind of wedding planning. They were also so flexible as to what we wanted, and encouraged us to go "off script" from their sample menu and invent our own dishes! We wanted to have a big buffet where our guests could try some of everything, and not only was the pricing super reasonable, the food was amazing! The executed everything perfectly (even better than when we had our tasting). We opted for strawberry shortcake instead of a wedding cake and I truly think that was one of the best decisions we made-- it was AMAZING and the local strawberries really shone. I can't say enough great things about Chef's Table Catering! Becky and her staff were the best! Becky was so easy to work with during the planning stage. She & Mike created a menu that worked perfect for our family. You'll want to order their cookies and brownies! They are fantastic. They even provided the milk for dunking! Our small party of 16 were treated like we were the most important party of the year! The food was outstanding! I hired them based on other reviews. I was not disappointed! I highly recommend Becky and everyone at Chef's Table Catering for a wonderful experience!! I will be hiring them for all our future family parties in Morro Bay.

I can't say enough how happy we are that we had Mike and Becky as our caterers. Throughout the planning process, Becky was extremely responsive and kind. When we went to do a tasting, we were extremely pleased with the variety of flavors and delicious food that Mike was able to create! We were even able to request certain aspects of the meal to match elements of the foods that we had eaten on our travels. There were many aspects of travel and adventure at our wedding, and it was wonderful to be able to have the food be a part of this theme as well. During the wedding, Becky checked in and continuously made us feel like our wedding was perfection. The serving staff was attentive, and checked in multiple times with us making sure that we got to eat all of the food that we were so excited about. To make sure that we got to say hi to everyone during dinner, we were served an appetizer platter, salads, and main courses, while the buffet was opening. We were so happy to get a chance to eat everything, which we seriously didn't know if we were going to have time to do. There was barely anything for us to take care of after the wedding because Chef's Table had cleaned and put away so much for us. So many people have complimented on the food! Thank you Becky, Mike, and everyone at Chef's Table for creating such a delicious and memorable wedding meal and dining experience for us!

Chef's Table are dream caterers. They made our wedding absolutely magical and all of our family and friends were raving for WEEKS about the food. Mike and Becky were wonderful throughout the entire process. They have so many appetizer, dinner, and dessert options to choose from. We actually had a tough time narrowing it down to our favorites. We decided on the taco bar and, best of all, flaming donuts! What an incredible show. The salted caramel ice cream on top is to die for. Hard to put into words how happy we were with the food, the service, and the whole experience!! Absolutely ideal caterers!

After having Chef Mike's food at various corporate events and weddings I hired Chef's Table Catering to cater our company awards banquet for about 200 guests... which was a Luau theme this year. From first contact to final check in they were awesome. Becky and Mike were amazingly gracious and flexible in terms of our menu and the "extras" we needed. I always received responses to communication promptly, professionally, and personally. They accommodated our request of having a full luau roasted pig and then doubled the request when we asked for two double sided buffets to move guests through as fast as possible. Becky also decked the tables out with banana leaves for the Luau theme. They were set up and had our various needs of an app station, beverage station, passed apps and buffets exactly as planned and right on time. The plates they included were even bamboo which added to the decor. To top off already great service, when Becky noticed I was a bit frazzled in the last 30 minutes before the event, she offered four of her staff to help me take care of setting up the bar since the bartenders we hired were not on site yet. The staff she "loaned" to me were incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The quality of food was as fabulous as the service. The pineapple noodles were amazing, the fruit was fresh and flavorful, and the rest of the menu was creative and met with a wide range of our guests' tastes. Mike even created a special "Luau tropical tea" especially for our event which was delicious! I will most definitely ask Chef's Table Catering to be a part of future events. They make the whole process so easy and you just can't beat the quality of food and service.

Chef's Table is, without a doubt, the best catering team I have ever worked with! Becky helped me with my mom's celebration of life. She was kind and patient, making a time in life that was very difficult a little easier. I told her about my mom's favorite foods and she customized the menu. The hundred plus people who showed up at the event raved about the food and the professionalism of the crew. Becky made sure that the table with the food was set up beautifully, and kept food replenished throughout the event. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this team. Thank you Chef's Table!

These guys are amazing! I have had the opportunity to work with Chef's Table many, many times over the past several years. Their food is off-the-charts delicious and their dedication to their craft and customers is amazing! They are one of the best team players in the entire wedding industry. Not only do they go above and beyond for their clients, they also do the same for those that they work with! They take excellent care of ALL the wedding vendors that are working hard all day. If there were an option to give them 6 stars I would.... but then I would probably want to give them 7! Lol!!!

Becky and Mike catered our rehearsal dinner AND wedding the weekend of Dec 17th and we could not have been happier. Everyone said the food was the best food they have ever had at a Wedding and they made it so easy throughout the entire process. Service was seamless, and they even brought the wedding party our own tray of appetizers on the train! We had the BBQ meatballs (mike's sauce is amazing), Kobe sliders, tomato soup & grilled cheese that looked beautiful and then a pear and gorgonzola philo cup with local honey! We actually ended up asking for the honey vendor and Mike was nice enough to share, they filled up jars of honey for us to give out to our guests as favors. Our dinner consisted of Chicken that was actually moist, the tri tip (cant say enough about this), the BEST mac and cheese, along with the seasonal spinach salad and the orzo salad. Absolutely delicious. They go above and beyond, are so well prepared and are so accommodating. They are always responsive, and truly helped to make our day special. Most people say they dont remember the food from weddings they went to, OUR guests and us will definitely remember. Chef's Table is extremely professional, passionate about what they do and they actually care. Their prices were super competitive and we think every penny, and more would have been worth it. I would highly recommend them!

Becky and Mike are more than just a catering vendor. They make you feel like family. They were absolutely the right caterer for us for the following reasons: (1) pricing- their pricing was below the average caterer but did not equate to lower quality food or service. Our guests raved about the food all night long, particularly their flaming donuts dessert. (2) service leading up to the wedding- we met with Mike and Becky in person to do a food tasting. They were warm, personable, and caring. They went through several menu iterations with us, adjusting their quote quickly and kindly. (3) execution- Mike is a very talented chef, and has built a well oiled process for cooking and serving food quickly and efficiently on site. (4) service at the wedding- it was seamless. It was the first time Mike and Becky worked at our venue, but given their upfront planning and attention to detail and timeline, you could never tell! Food was ready on time and so delicious. Their servers were also kind and attentive to our guests needs. (5) their flaming donuts. We already mentioned that guests went crazy over this dessert, but we want to give this extra attention. We're not big fans of cake and wanted a dessert that would be tasty and stand out. Mike turns the flaming donuts dessert into a show for guests and this experience added to our overall wedding vibe. The only complaint guests had was that they ran out of stomach room to eat more! As if all this wasn't enough, Mike and Becky went out of their way to mail us the most thoughtful gift-- a baby boy outfit when they found out we were expecting a baby boy at our wedding. Mind you, this came literally two days after our wedding! We were blown away by their thoughtfulness and generosity. They exceeded all of our expectations and we would hire them again in a heartbeat for other big events in the future! Thank you so much, Mike and Becky, for all you did to make our wedding a dream come true!

Chef's Table catered my wedding and did a fantastic job! Not only was the food delicious, affordable, and they were professional and friendly, but they went above and beyond to make our experience positive. For instance, Chef's Table brought us our own appetizer plate while we were taking photos during cocktail hour so that we could eat too and not miss the food! As well, at the end of the event, they packaged up the leftovers. I highly recommend Becky and Mike at Chef's Table.

I'm so glad we used Chef's Table Catering! You know when you have an event and it just all goes so smoothly? You end the day with just that relaxed feeling of it all being executed so well. That's the gift Chef's Table gave me - the satisfaction of knowing my 70 guests were so happy and impressed with the food! It made *me* look good! :) I highly recommend Becky - she was so warm and professional and took extra steps to keep everything going so well. I always felt I was in good hands.

We loved having Chef's Table Catering for our wedding reception. The guests were so impressed with the lovely appetizers and delicious meal for 330 people! Becky & Mike were very personable and made sure to offer complete vegetarian options that were perfect for my husband & I while our guests had the options between vegetarian & meat entrees. The variety, freshness, quality & service are all the best reasons to choose Chef's Table again in the future!

What can I say besides: "deliciously organized perfection". We had a "wedding weekend" at our venue, and Becky and Mike were on top of it all, keeping everything on point with a smooth flow. Friday was our rehearsal and dinner, Saturday was the wedding, and Sunday was the post-wedding/mother's day brunch. We hired Mike and Becky to cater all three events, as well as bar-tend the wedding, and brunch. When we got engaged, we decided early which items to splurge on; for us that meant the venue and catering. We wanted everyone to enjoy themselves - our wedding was just as much for our guests, as it was for us, so we sat down together and started reading reviews. After reading much positive feedback, and a successful phone call or two, we decided on Chef's Table. They ended up exceeding our expectations at every juncture. As our planning continued, new vendors joined our team and each time, they would inquire about already selected vendors. Every time I mentioned Chef's Table, it was all compliments - we knew we had picked the right caterer. Tasting: We had our tasting at the venue, The Casitas Estates. We brought our parents with us because his parents are both in to high-end food, and mine are Chef's, and we knew their input would be highly valuable. Becky and Mike handled it well, addressed everyone's questions, and agreed to every "tweak" without complaint or hesitation. The tasting went smooth and easy; it was very productive. Brides: the tasting is a MUST - until you are there in person, experiencing all of the delectable offerings, you may never consider ways that would make it a tad more tasty, or see something that may need a little attention based on yours or your guests' needs. Plus, this is a crew you will be spending a lot of time so it's a great opportunity make sure you all blend well. Becky was very "user friendly". She was on top of every email I sent her, and even in instances where it was going to take her time to respond in-full, she would immediately let me know so I had realistic expectations. As a bride, you have so many moving pieces to contend with, so quick consistent responses are necessary and very much appreciated. Wedding Dinner: It was fabulous! Everything was served on time, all dishes went to the correct guest, and were prepared just as requested. Not one complaint, not one misplacement, no spills or disasters. They served five-star meals to all 53 of our guests all three days. They cooked, served, and bar-tended to their best. After asking our guests to travel to our venue (some from out of state), spending time and money on travel expenses and hotel accommodations, we thought the least we could do was to give them a few outstanding food-experiences to enjoy with refreshing cocktails, and that's exactly what Chef's Table gave us. All three meals were just fabulous, but the one meal that genuinely stood out was our brunch. I don't mean to imply that the dinner was not mind-blowing, it was a hit on all levels - each course was to die-for! But we had lower expectations about the brunch, naturally, and as such, we were surprised to find that we were as impressed with the quality and presentation of this meal. Brunch was set up beautifully; colorful and vibrant under the warm morning sun at the Casitas. Mike made homemade cinnamon buns in addition to the hand-selected menu, that our family and friends could not stop gushing about. Dessert: We wanted to find was a fun, creative dessert that was a departure from the norm, and OH BOY did Chef's Table make that happen. We had an assortment of desserts, but our flaming donuts display put on by Mike and His team took the cake (pun intended)! Could "Fabulously Outstanding" be an understatement!!?? Absolutely! Besides the fact that they were insanely delicious, the fiery show put on by the crew in making them was a delightful bonus. Free entertainment by our cooking crew? Um , yes please! It exited the crowd, and we strongly suggest going this route if you don't want the standard cake, and don't want to jump on the played-out cupcake train. Late Night Snack: This was the number-one talked about aspect of our about food service, possibly the entire wedding - sad in one way, LOL, great in another. EVERY family member and quest LOVED that we did this. I was planning along and attempting to consider all of the things I think about when I'm a guest at someones wedding, and one of the main reoccurring thoughts was this: after dessert is served, that's it. Guests are hopefully left buzzed, dancing, and laughing, sure, but also booze-hungry - now what, Taco Bell?? My husband I ended up trying to figure out how to address this need, so we ran a thought by Chef's Table about serving up some gourmet mini-grilled cheeses late-night!? Chefs Table, run by Mike and Becky, is an exceptional catering company. They are easy to work with, serve delicious food and provide incredible service. I planned my sister's wedding at the Avila Beach Golf Resort, and am happy we selected Chef's Table. We ended up having 140 guests. Appetizers Our family loves appetizers, so we decided to have a longer cocktail hour with 6 appetizers! - stuffed mushrooms, mini ahi tacos, grilled vegetable sliders, pulled pork on cornbread with apple slaw, tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese, and fresh fruit skewers. Guests were all spread out during the cocktail hour but the servers successfully walked around the entire ground and offered appetizers to all. Main Meal The wedding couple wanted a more causal, fun feel for the wedding so went with a buffet. The main meal included: Spring Mix Salad with Strawberries, Feta Cheese and Candied Almonds Rustic Tomato Cucumber Salad Lemon Herb Chicken Breast Braised Short Ribs Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes Fresh Vegetable Medley Artisan Rolls and Butter The food was delicious!! The chicken and beef were warm and moist plus there were so many delicious vegetables. Chef Table's short ribs are truly special, and I can highly recommend them. There was plenty of food for everyone, and guests were able to make it through the buffet quickly. Vegan Option We had several vegetarians and vegans attend. It was great that we had a delicious meal for them as well - Zucchini Stuffed with Risotto, Walnuts, Spinach and Carrots with Tomato Sauce. Kids Meal The parents of kids, raved about how much their children loved the kids meal! The kids meal was mac and cheese, chicken fingers and fruit. Seems that the children ate their meals with gusto making it easy for the parents to enjoy their meal as well. The vegan and kids meals were served directly the guest at their table. Chefs Table did all of this accurately and timely. Overall Service What a great team! They arrived early to setup, offered all the food and beverage services when we wanted and had the whole place cleaned up on time! Love!! Chef's Table is a team you can count on to deliver. Thank you Mike and Becky for helping to create a wonderful wedding for my sister and my brother-in-law. The wedding went so smoothly and came together beautifully!

We really couldn't have asked for a better experience in catering our wedding reception. From the get-go, Mike and Becky truly made us feel as though we were in good hands. And we were. From tasting, to determining the menu, and all the way through the reception, Mike and Becky made the process effortless and the food delicious. I'm a bit demanding and picky when it comes to cuisine and Mike and Becky indulged me to the best of their ability, while still educating me as to why they might need to push back a bit on a particular dish, given the circumstances of our reception. We really couldn't be happier and I would definitely encourage you to ask Mike about his late-night mini chili cheese dogs and tater tots. So good!

As a bride and groom that love food, it was something important for us to have amazing food on our wedding for not only us but for our guests to enjoy. Not only did we get that but food that all our guests still rave about a month after the wedding. Mike and Becky were just so amazing to work with and they really cater to each couple, they make you feel comfortable and create something that brings out the bride and groom on the big day. My sister has several allergies and they went out of their way to ensure that the food items for the wedding were made accordingly so that she could enjoy the meal. Their employees were very professional and extremely friendly. Most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS!!! Wedding guests were so impressed with the appetizers and the main meal. Also, the late night snack is a must! We went with the pizza and beer pairing, which was also delicious, unique, and a major crowd pleaser.

We have had the pleasure of Chef's Table Catering here at our Estate as well as at other winery and catered functions and I have to say that Chef Mike Foley makes the most amazing creative appetizers and desserts! From flaming doughnuts to short ribs on polenta, there are too many faves to mention. His partner in crime, wife Becky Foley, organizes the events and ensures that all is run efficiently and beautifully for events. They are a great team, have a dedicated seasoned staff of waiters and kitchen help and I've seen both small and very large weddings catered to perfection. They provide a lot for the money and are both ethical and fun! I highly recommend Chef's Table Catering!

I don't write reviews as often as I should, but I would be remiss if I didn't let as many people as possible know how wonderful and amazing Becky and Mike at Chef's Table Catering are. From the moment we first met Becky and Mike, we knew they were the perfect match for us to cater our wedding on the Central Coast. They were so helpful in making our menu choices and gave us great ideas to go with our theme. I changed my mind a couple of times along the way, and Becky was nothing but patient and helpful. I had a special request recipe for one of the appetizers and Mike gladly accommodated me and made it to perfection! The set up was gorgeous, their staff is extremely professional, and everyone was very friendly. And, the prices are extremely reasonable as well. Bonus! When two foodies get married, selecting a caterer can be a challenged. We researched almost 10 local caterers and found our perfect match in Becky and Mike. Mike is an unbelievable chef and Becky is so professional. The two of them together make the dream team. Delicious food, fair prices, and 5 star service. The best of the best!

Chef's Table is amazing. We hired them for our wedding and could not have been happier with how the food turned out. Mike is such a pro and Becky was a huge help with all the planning leading up to the wedding and then coordinating everything on the big day. OH and they even offer late snacks (we did grilled cheese + tator tots) which were a huge hit! I can't recommend them enough.

Mike and Becky were amazing! We hired them for our wedding and could not have been happier with their service from start to finish. Seriously some of the nicest people I've ever met and they bent over backwards to make sure everything for our wedding was perfect. I coordinate events in the Los Angeles area and I only wish they were closer so we could work together again. The food was soooo delicious that several of our guests are still talking about it weeks after the wedding. The presentation and taste were far superior to any other wedding food I've ever tasted. It felt like a personal home cooked meal. Their prices were also extremely reasonable. Book them! You won't be sorry.

Mike, Becky & Staff provided wonderful service at our 50th wedding anniversary celebration in April at our home in San Luis Obispo CA. Everyone was so professional from start to finish -pre-arrangements and visit, set up, layout and organization, delicious food and delivery, courteous service, bartender, and clean up. We couldn't have asked for anything more!! Can't thank Chef's Table Catering enough for making this memorable day perfect for us. We received many comments about how delicious all the appetizers were and how thoughtful all the staff were.

What can I say about Mike and Becky and this beautiful business they have created? Their food was outstanding, their prices reasonable, their service was superb and just the people they are and the staff they had were spectacular! Mike and Becky are so sincerely nice and want to give a great meal! They are truly proud of their business and their wonderful food that they go above and beyond. The head table at my wedding always had their drinks filled, my husband and I never had to get up from the table when it came to dinner. The dining tables were cleared right away, so there was no messy plates sitting around, the servers were SO kind and friendly and looked like they truly enjoyed what they did. Not only was the service amazing, THE FOOD! Oh my was it above and beyond. Everyone at my wedding spoke of how much they all enjoyed the food. It was creative and full of flavor. Not only was it delicious but the way it was displayed was beyond anything I have ever seen at a wedding! It wasn't just in chafing dishes or bowls but done up as a work of art to add an elegant touch. Overall they are wonderful people to work with and would be an asset to any wedding or event! We both LOVED the food prepared by Chef's Table Catering. Becky and Mike really listened to what we wanted and they were able to cook excellent food that satisfied people with a variety of food preferences (allergies, vegetarians, etc.). You can tell they love what they do, and the food they make will help make your event memorable. As others have noted, you get the highest quality food at a very reasonable rate. We highly recommend that you contact them for your special day!

They are simply the best there is. They handled my daughters wedding incredibly well. The food was very, very good from start to finish. Their table server ice was impeccable. I cannot recommend these people more strongly. Loved them.

Becky and Mike are a joy to work with and most importantly, their food is amazing! We worked with them for our wedding on the Central Coast, which we planned from NYC. We worked with them to create a unique menu that reflected our personal tastes, this is not your standard wedding caterer--the flavors and presentation are unique and will leave your guests talking about how fabulous the food was! The Chef's Table did a Sunday brunch after our wedding. They did an amazing job! The food was great, the set-up looked wonderful, and the staff was so professional! The food and service could not have been better! We loved working with them!

Becky and Mike were wonderful to work with, easy and accommodating. They were even open to using a couple of our favorite family recipes for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner and reception. The food and service was fantastic and the whole roasted pig, sublime! Couldn't have been better!

Can't say enough good things about Mike, Becky and their team. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish in planning the catering for our wedding, and they found a perfect blend of accommodating our requests and gently but firmly pushing back and suggesting things that would work better. They were right in all cases! Mike is a superb chef and Becky ensures that everything runs flawlessly. In my experience it's unusual to attend a wedding where the food is outstanding, and as good as you'd get in great restaurant. Mike and Becky delivered - great appetizers at cocktail hour (mini-BLT sliders, vietnamese meatballs, awesome cheese tray...), delicious entrees (perfect sea bass, amazing vegetarian Wellington). It was all amazing. If you are too busy to check out several caterers, don't worry - just book Chef's Table and everything will be great.

Becky and Mike are the best!! They catered our wedding and we were so lucky to have found them. Their food is so good and they have great service to match it. Becky was a dream to work with; she was so responsive and sweet through every phase of the planning. Every one of our vendors told us how much they loved working with them. When we did our tasting they asked us a lot of thoughtful questions and it showed they really took our answers to heart on the day of. They made several changes to our menu at our request, and they were totally willing to work with our budget so that we could give our guests a delicious family-style dinner and fantastic appetizers. We asked if they could work in lobster bisque (not one of their menu items) and Mike made us insanely good lobster bisque shooters with LOTS of lobster in them. We asked if we could switch up an appetizer for something gluten-free, and he added one in at no additional cost. And little things, like my preference for a lighter dressing on the salad, were taken into account. I didn't even ask them to do that! It really made the meal special and many of our guests told us how much they loved the food. Becky even personally delivered our dinner (along with some of the appetizers we missed while taking photos) which gave us an opportunity to thank her in person. Oh yeah - and the FLAMING DONUTS - OMG!!! They're incredible. That's all I have to say. Wish I could get those in LA!
