Really nice place. It was being renovated while my group was there, so it wasn’t as good as could look. For those who don’t know, ChefScape is a collection of a few restaurants, so there are a lot of choices. We picked the Colombian’s Place as our restaurant of choice. In short, really good food and really good service. Our server was genuinely excited that we had wanted to try Colombian cuisine and was willing to answer any questions we had. Now, this is supposed to be a review of ChefScape, so will continue to talk about how it looks. It is a pretty moody place with nice, warm lighting. Once it is finished being renovated, I am sure it will look a lot nicer. This is very important: they have clean bathrooms. Overall, a really nice eating experience.

Google
We had some chicken Kati rolls & Gol Guppa from Chaatwalla within Chefscape at the Village Market in Leesburg. They were both delicious and the chef was very attentive. The General Mgr at Chefscape was so helpful! She came up with the coolest wings mural I've ever seen that is located inside. Unfortunately it won't be there for long - they are expanding the establishment and the wing wall will be demolished. :(

Google
We were able to stop by during our winter break before school picks up again. We’ve missed the Columbian Place!! Next time I’ll be sure to bring an updated drawing for you <3

Google
I found this place in search of Casa De Avila Tacos which is located inside of this food hall…inviting atmosphere & very friendly staff. Trivia night is lit on Wednesday nights & live acoustic bands rock out on the weekends. It’s pretty cool that you can take adults beverages outside of the venue & stroll the plaza which has other cool shops as well. Overall recommend.

Google
Place had a lot of hype from friends, atmosphere is great! Bar is nice and big! My husband and I love Colombian food and we’re told we had to get food from the Columbia place… empanadas are clearly frozen, huge disappointment… just had higher expectations for the food we got… rogi’s gnocchi soup was killer on this cold day… willing to come back and try more from the other places… I would do your research from reviews on what’s good/not good before you come…

Google
Lovely place that is deserted because of COVID-19 with just a few lonely souls hanging out besides the staff who run the individual stores. I purchased from Chaatwaala, an Indian streetfood vendor. The chaat was good, but more importantly the place was clean and the ambience relaxing. Recommended

Chefscape, food and restaurant incubator at leesburg, loudoun county is new concept helping entrepreneurs fly high, Johhny Ray's chicken and fish must try, grab a drink from AhSo bar, not to forget cup cakes to seal it ...

Yelp
This is a great neighborhood bar. It has so much going on. From test kitchens to pop up test restaurants to just a fun time. Thought the beer selection was good but it just got better, they are going to become an actual brewery. Water's End Brewery is coming and going to a part of this place. You order food from Pauline's Italian pasta joint or Lucky dog (currently). The bartenders Rob, Amy and Brie are absolutely great. The place has a chill atmosphere great tunes playing background ... it just a decent bar ... a great place to unwind have a beer, espresso martini, wine, taco, specialized dog... it's just great.

Yelp
In a way it's hard to rate ChefScape because it's always changing. ChefScape is a restaurant business incubator aka test kitchen. The Leesburg location has a bar and a food hall. I would say that the majority of test restaurants have been good over the years for fast casual/takeout types of fare. Bottom line is that they worth checking out if you are already at the Village at Leesburg.

Yelp
Finally came out to ChefScape and ordered take out from the Polished Foxx. We really enjoyed the oysters and mussels. The sauce that the mussels came in was so good. The shrimp avocado cocktail was good, particularly the corn and avocado mixture. The lobster slider and the side of pickled veggies were very good. Cool atmosphere, nice choice of chairs and tables, huge stage, bar looks nice and and also outside patio seating. Like the food court style, there was the raw bar, Colombian, and Indian.

Yelp
ChefScape has a lot of potential. It's a food hall that's currently renting its space to venues selling BBQ, Hawaiian, Empanadas, macarons, and açaí bowls. There is a bar for hanging out and a live stage for events and entertainment. Additionally, they're also a test kitchen that sell culinary products. The space is smaller and not as vibrant as the food halls I've been to around the DMV. But food is good. We've tried the empanadas venue at the "Taste of Reston" and we loved their stuff. My hubby is a fan of the BBQ venue. I am in love with the musubi from the Hawaiian venue. The service is also on point as well. I can't wait to see how this food hall develops overtime.

Yelp
CHAATWALA REVIEW This food vendor is located inside Chefscape and serves absolutely amazing food! Chefscape is similar to Union Market in the sense that it is a large and open space with 4 different food stalls and a centrally located bar. But the food at Chaatwala blew me away with its intense flavors. Typically Indian food relies on creamy, buttery textures to entice customers not familiar with Indian food, but Chaatwala highlights the melody of flavors and spices commonly tasted in Indian cuisine, specifically Indian street food and even homemade food. In this no frills space, one can casually enjoy a variety of dishes ranging from biryani to chaat while sipping on a cold beer. We started with the dahi bhalla which was delicious. Delicately fried balls of flour are placed in a yogurt mixture full of flavor. And it gets even better as the flour begins to soak up the yogurt that's been generously spiced with chili, cumin and chaat masala. Very refreshing. This was followed by bhel puri, which was spicy! But in a good way. The texture of the puffed rice added crunch to a balanced dish consisting of spicy, sweet and savory notes. Pops of pomegranate are little sweet surprises that tame the heat. This was definitely a dish you need with a cool lager. We also ate the aloo tikki, which was magical. I mean, who can resist fried potato topped with savory and sweet chutneys and a cooling yogurt. This multiple course early dinner ended with a steaming chicken biryani, which also required another beer. The biryani tasted completely homemade, which we loved! The chicken was very tender and surprisingly was boneless. But this didn't result in less flavor, this biryani was actually much more flavorful than others I have tried. The chicken was tender, juicy and soaked up the aromatic spices the rice was cooked with. I've always wanted to visit a restaurant where I could relax with biryani and enjoy a beer, especially during happy hour, and this place checks all of those requirements. Plus, Chaatwala also does take-out and has online ordering. I highly recommend trying the food here, I guarantee you'll become a regular.

Yelp
Absolutely awful customer service, Stafford very rude and treat you as if you're asking for personal favor when placing an order. I'm usually not one to decry racism but my POC friend definitely got that vibe, do I believe it was more just that the staff was awful All that said I guess the food was okay, but the interaction left meet with a bad taste in my mouth

Yelp
Drove +100 miles to try this place. Ordered musubi. Pictures on yelp/IG and what I actually get are totally off. I am a food blogger but I don't even want to post this on my main account. Totally wasted gas and commute time. Has the chef escaped already?

Yelp
We were walking around the town center looking for Johnny Ray's and found it inside of ChefScape. Walking in, we were impressed. The bar is what you see before you enter. They have patio seating. To my understanding, the businesses inside are on a 6 month contract. ChefScape provides the space for these businesses to help get them off the ground. I think that it's a wonderful idea. There are four restaurants, a dessert vendor and the bar. There is a variety of food and plenty of room to sit and enjoy. We saw signs for live music and ladies night on certain nights during the week. As I mentioned, we were looking for Johnny Ray's Soul Food. They have excellent wings!! (Check out my review) I can't speak on the other businesses inside of ChefScape but I'm sure they're all good. Overall, this is a really nice concept to help smaller businesses grow.

Yelp
The food is great - kids had Mac and cheese from the soul food place, and adults had the half chicken over rice and pork from Rooted and Bloomed. Food is solid, don't let that detract you. But dude, music at 120 decibels of crappy cover music from two middle aged guys with amps at 5:30 on a Saturday is way too much. Do it at 8/9 o clock when the going out crowd is there? Cool man - do it. But at the normal human dinner time, there are families, dates, friends, happy hours -- who cannot hear a word anyone is saying because either a crappy cover of Train is playing, or the "band" chatting over a loud mic at their 4 groupies. It's already loud enough since it's a completely open room. Way too much with the fake Freebird on stage. Opinion: kill the music, you're alienating a majority of the clientele from the good idea/concept and great food. Numerous "live music" things have died here. Don't be another!

Yelp
I'm not quite sure what the place is called; it is the stand located right next to the ramen and pho place (they share the same space.) Anywho, today I bought a Tuna poke bowl, not to mention it was $19 for a little bit of rice and tuna with a salad that was bland and disgusting. The poke was alright, nothing to brag about. The reason I'm writing this review is because about a couple hours later after I ate, I threw up everything and I mean EVERYTHING. This was the only thing I consumed today so I'm 100% sure I got sick from this place. I don't know if the meat wasn't properly stored or if it was sitting out all day, but whatever it was did not sit right with my stomach. I really was rooting for this place as it is very close to my job, but after this experience and the price, it's safe to say I will never be returning here ever again. ------------------------------------------------ Still a one star. I have now gone to another spot located in this facility and the food was terrible. I ordered Arroz con Bistec and this is what I received from the Hispanic restaurant directly across from the bar. The "steak" was overcooked and tasted nothing like steak and the rice was hard. The plain tans were soggy and unpleasant tasting...all of this for $1Very disappointed and will never return.

Yelp
Newly opened this Food Hall/Bar/Test Kitchen/Party Venue has so much to offer. ChefScape is huge! Inside you'll find a bar immediately as you enter followed by four different restaurants in the far left corner of the restaurant and in the middle, it's all dining seating. The idea of ChefScape is to give up and coming chefs and restauranteurs a place to test and perfect their dishes before they take the leap of starting their own standalone restaurant. Each restaurant will stay for about six months before new talent is given a chance. Additionally, there is also an area for live music in the far right corner. This place will be perfect for the summer as it has a roll-up the door by the front bar. The restaurants are all so professional and make amazing dishes. There is not a thing I didn't enjoy! I owners are so down to earth and friendly too. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with them. Although extremely new they do an incredible job keeping everything clean. To be honest, I didn't know what to expect when I came here, but I was so pleasantly surprised. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. If you're looking for a great laidback atmosphere, people and food I highly recommend coming here and showing these upcoming restauranteurs some love.

Yelp
March 22 update- visited the "Uncommon Ramen".....3 strikes and out, sorry but not paying $17 for lunch again.

Yelp
I came to this place for the first time more than a year ago and didn't get a good impression. However, ever since they changed their management I've been coming constantly. The atmosphere is amazing and is a great place for people from all generations to come together and have a good time. Service is great and their drinks are really good.

Yelp
They need a better system on ordering and paying. I gave my card to start tab. Then I'm told to order from app. When I go to checkout it's asking for my card... hello you have my card. Cash is not even an option. Been here 30 mins saw server once....I'm leaving Bad concept...

Yelp
The easy to handle part: The concept is wonderful, the space is cool, indoor and outdoor seating is very nice, live music always brings a crowd, bravo. The listen-up management part: After reading reviews it seems you should LOWER THE VOLUME OF THE MUSIC! HOW MANY REVIEWS DO YOU NEED TO READ BEFORE YOU LOWER THE VOLUME?. OK, back to my inside voice. You are missing out on lots of sales!! I have visited multiple times, each during the day and this place is dead at lunch time, it's dark, quiet and the food vendors look bored. As I entered for the first time, I was greeted by no one. You have to walk down a dark hallway lined with shelves with products, wine bottles, packed food, pamphlets, and knickknacks for sale. No one around, no one to explain the concept, not that time or ever has anyone explained the products for sale or how you operate!! Very odd. You really need to station a greeter at the door, in the hallway where you first enter, before the products and have them explain YOUR BUSINESS. Talk up the bar, talk up the products, talk up the vendors, hand out some info man!!! On another visit I asked who was in charge of marketing and they pointed to a lady sitting at the bar having a drink and engrossed in her laptop, not impressive. The word is that ChefScape does nothing to help the food vendors advertise, even to the point of charging them for an Instagram post!! REALLY GUYS? Instead of sitting at the bar drinking at 1 PM you could have your marketing person interacting with and greeting customers! IMHO, this place should be packed at lunch time, there are now hundreds of people living and working within walking distance, merchants, employees of stores, Wegmans draws hundreds of people daily and it's two blocks away! I would get off the bar stool and knock on every door in the neighborhood and introduce YOUR BUSINESS and maybe bring along a samples of the vendor's food. Another visit, I asked the bartender about the cooking lessons offered, he knew nothing. He didn't even have a handout, a card, nothing to work with. He stumbled and fumbled to explain what they do there and finally directed me to your website. GUYS, all it takes is a 10 minute briefing of your staff to educate them on YOUR BUSINESS!! FYI, Jonny Rays rocks! that's the ONLY reason I gave you 4 stars.

Yelp
Ventilation really needs work here. We could smell the "fried" smell before we even opened the door. I enjoy fried foods- but I do not enjoy having to wash my hair and my jacket as soon as I get home from it. With such a large space and only 4 little booths, how could the smell be that strong? It was a rainy Saturday afternoon at lunch time and it wasn't very full. I tried the soulfood restaurant but it fell short. Very short. The mac and cheese was completely dried up and there was zero gooey-ness. It kind of reminded me of leftover mac that's in the fridge and it's just kind of one hardened blob. The wings were heavily coated in some sort of breading- maybe cornbread which was really dark brown in color (maybe old oil?) or just fried for way too long. The cabbage with 3 slivers of sausage was fine. With tax, the entree was $16 and just not worth it. It also took 20 minutes to come out. My boyfriend went to a different booth. Can't remember exactly but the entree had chicaron, rice, and maybe an arepa. It was fine but I wish there was some sauce as it was just so dry and needed something. I appreciated the filtered water system by the bar that you could get on your own. At one point there was a huge rush of kids and tons of families and they were kind of running all over the place. It just felt like this place had an identity crisis. There was a bar when you first walked in as well. Sorry. I just don't get it this place. Two out of the 4 booths didn't have the employees in the front so I didn't even know if they were opened.

Yelp
Review for Chaatwala and Chefscape The Chefscape staff was very friendly and helped us seat right away. It's a food hall so one can explore a variety of cuisine's in one place . The place is clean, casual and nice. Chaatwala serves Indian cuisine. We went there today which also happens to be India's IndependenceDay and we were thrilled to see Indian flags on the stall and were welcomed with complimentary sweet "Gulab Jamun" that was really yummy. It was soft and just the right amount of sweet. Next we ordered Chaat and Choley Puri and I am happy to say that all items we tried were flavorful and perfect. I rarely am happy with Indian food that is served around here and I went in there with low expectations but I was happy that this place didn't disappoint. The owner and Chef Jaisimhaj and his staff are very courteous and humble. They bought us complimentary Dahi puri and we exchanged a lot of nice memories from India. Looking forward to visit Chaatwala soon.

Yelp
The interior design of chefscape is really cool and nice. There are open tables and benches to sit on. I was really excited for the food at rooted and bloomed. I was disappointed. I was given very little macaroni salad and very little sauce to dip the chicken in. It was not worth the money. Anything over $10 I believe you should receive a decent amount of food. I received very little. I got my hopes up for good food.

Yelp
Decent concept. Always nice to have options when traveling with a large party. Plenty of seats. Large bar. Live Music!
google avatar

Pete E.

Yelp
It's small, but Jimmy Rays is legit. It's like my Grandma from Alabama made the food. Jimmy Rays gets 5 stars, the overall facility gets 4. Limited options. Regardless, I have a story. The chef of Jimmy Rays came out with my friend chicken. I got a 10 piece, he brought me 9 and told me that one fell off the plate and that he is cooking a new chicken wing. He obviously has passion about his food and cares about doing right by his customers. I strongly urge everyone to try his food. Everything I have eaten from Jimmy Rays beats everything I have had in Northern Virginia. It's legit southern food.

Yelp
Chefscape is located in the Village of Leesburg and consists of a food court with a test kitchen, bar, rental kitchen, and meeting space. Each restaurant in the food court will test their concept for several months. The venue is a great concept, and I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse mix of people working and attending the venue. The bartenders, manager, and food concept vendors were also really friendly. I had never been to the Village of Leesburg before, and I was really impressed with this town center more than other town centers in the DC metro area. It has a great variety of shops, and I will definitely return. Bar Ahso is the first thing you'll see when you enter the facility. They have great craft cocktails and their wine selection was good. Their prices are reasonable, particularly if you can get there for happy hour. Unfortunately, their happy hour prices are for only Mon-Fri 4-6. We ordered the following: Pineapple Painkiller, a coconut strawberry cocktail (not sure of the name), Sauvignon Blanc, and a glass of the Barbera. The standouts were the coconut strawberry cocktail and the wine. Now for the food. There are currently four test kitchens. We tried food from Johnny Ray's and Rooted and Bloomed. Johnny Ray's is the highlight of the food court. If you want knock your socks off soul food, I recommend Johnny Ray's. This is the best soul food I've ever eaten in the DC metro area. Unfortunantly, since this is a test kitchen, Johnny Ray's is not a permanent fixture. We tried the fried catfish, mac and cheese, collard greens, wings, and fried okra. My opinion of catfish has been that they are nasty bottom feeders and taste disgusting. Johnny Ray's has made me change my mind. His fried catfish is something amazing; preparation is key, and Johnny is the expert. The collard greens are made with a ham hock; it has been a long time since I've eaten collards this good. The mac and cheese is creamy and delicious. If you like wings, definitely try them; I typically am not into wings, but these were excellent, and the best part is they don't have nasty buffalo sauce. The fried okra is good, but the other items mentioned above are better. They ran out of the banana pudding and the peace cobbler; hopefully we can try them next time. We heard that both of those desserts are really good. https://www.sultrysoulfood.com We tried food from Rooted and Bloomed, a Hawaiian vendor with food that is beautifully presented and delicious. They are the next best vendor at this venue. https://rootedandbloomed.com Dana's Cake Shoppe is also located inside the venue. We tried some of their cookies. I highly recommend the butterscotch cookie. https://www.danascakeshoppe.com We will definently return. It will be interesting to see the future restaurant concepts.

Yelp
Great food and a lot of choices. However, someone has got to tell whomever does the music at night to TURN THE VOLUME DOWN!! It's unbearable at the decibel it's being played through the speaker. I couldn't hear the person across the table. The space is not that large and doesn't need that much bass and volume.
google avatar

Meredith M.

Yelp
My husband and I were really impressed. The two restaurants there right now (May 2021) are Columbia's Chef and Big Kyle's BBQ. I had Coconut Tilapia from the Chef and my husband had ribs from Kyle's. The flavors blew us away. Interesting concept, too. Glad to see they have a stage!
google avatar

South Riding M.

Yelp
Tried to eat there but was unsuccessful. The hostess nice. She told us we had to order via phone. Ok....but no internet reception there so we could not order and the hostess never came back to our table to address the issue. So sad because I was craving nachos. Maybe another time when they aren't depending on cell phones for ordering. Better yet I would call ahead and order and eat it there. They do have happy hour specials too.
google avatar

Sammy A.

Yelp
There are a few restaurants within the building. I tried the Puerto Rican restaurant. I ordered the Cuban with mac and cheese and rice. It was really good and they gave me a lot of food. I could not finish the entire dish and saved some for later. Service was quick and the dining is really clean.

Robert G.

Yelp
Love Columbian Place food . Hot , fresh , delicious food . I recommend this establishment.

Skylar A.

Yelp
Chefscape is the bar I've been looking for, the drinks are great and the selection of food is unmatched. No matter what mood you're in they have something for you! Weather it's Tony, Rob or Nicki behind the bar you can guarantee your drink will be 10/10 every time. The espresso martini is a personal favorite but all the drafts are fantastic as well. I highly recommend chefscape for anyone looking for a place to get fantastic food and fantastic drinks!

Janelle B.

Yelp
Delicious!!!! We had a little of everything. So good!!!! And everyone was so sweet and helpful. I think I'd come more often if the prices were a bit lower. But over all. I'll still give it 5 stars

Yelp
JohnnyRays..best and only soul food...fish fried hard yum..greens yams and mac. Delish!! Entertainment Awesome music..its all about R&B..check it out on the weekends

Yelp
A fun new concept place for food and drinks. I think of it as a gourmet adult food court. Plenty of seating, nice bar, and entertainment (some nights). The restaurant window I ordered from.....Rooted and Bloomed has a wonderful Hawaiian themed menu. The food hall currently has barbecue, soul food and Mediterranean. Something for everyone. It's a lot of fun, priced well, and over all good place for a foodie. You will love it.

Yelp
Chaat wala, went to get some chaat , guy at entrance did not let me order , asked me to order online even I was right there , poor customer service. They are loosing business due to this check in person who is not letting enter customer in , I can understand concerns for covid but all of us had masks on.
google avatar

Daniel N.

Yelp
Bartender would lie about being closed when I asked about a drink. On a Thursday night Right after I saw him pouring drinks for a group of girls of course.
google avatar

Drea T.

Yelp
We showed up for HH, waitress pointed at the cocktails and surprise surprise when we ordered and paid for cocktails they weren't on the HH special. The worst part was the drinks were terrible as if they took watered down mixers with watered down alcohol then charged $13 a pop.

Lizzy W.

Yelp
LOVE this place. It's nice to have something different and fun in Leesburg. Great food options, live music, a bar, plenty of seating. It's just a fun time We've had ramen and liked it a lot and gotten cookies from Dana's bakery and they're phenomenal. Overall vibe on a Friday night is really fun. It's buzzy, loud, live music, you can eat at the bar, it's a great time 100% going back
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Cool vibe!! Fun place! #ChefsScape #buzzybooth Band was really good. Love that they bring big water bottles for the table.

Victoria G.

Yelp
Went in today. Ordered 2 patron margaritas to go. As soon as I tasted it, I could tell it was well tequila. I didn't say anything, paid my tab and left. If you are ordering better liquor, make sure to watch the bartender make your drink as likely you will end up with well liquor.
google avatar

Julie P.

Yelp
Finally tried ChefScape for lunch the other day and really impressed with the concept. I tried the Peruvian place and had a cocktail at the bar, loved both my food and the drink :). Will definitely be back to try the other kiosks. Really love the concept, and hope they expand to offer even more food options!
google avatar

Holly B.

Yelp
I love the atmosphere here. There are not a lot of places you can go with your children to hear a live band on the weekends, especially where everyone can pick a different food they want to eat. It's a great vibe when the garage doors are open on nice days. I definitely recommend Johnny Ray's sticky wings, extra crispy! My daughter loves his fish a la carte. I am looking forward to seeing what other restaurants come in as well.
google avatar

Ashleigh P.

Yelp
What a cool place! We tried Rooted + Bloomed and were impressed. I love the concept of Chefscape to begin with because all of these vendors are testing their concepts. The building is fresh, large and inviting. The bar is massive and the drinks were tasty (a little pricey). As for Rooted + Bloomed we got a variety of items: musubi, Huli huli chicken and poke bowls. Everything was really tasty. I would love to check this place out once they have a truck or store front.
google avatar

Darryl S.

Yelp
It's very chill, there's a DJ, a Bar, and 3 places or so to get food. It has a open front-end and you just sit wherever there's a open seat. The food was good, we had pork chops and fried fish. The service was great. I'll be going again for sure. The make a mean drink, if you know what I mean.

Phil C.

Yelp
I love the concept. Permanent bar -BarAhso - with rotating food vendors. Had poke from Rooted and Bloom but you could have soul food or Peruvian BBQ or Mediterranean too. Drinks are good - Erin the bartender is our fave - and food is really good. Definitely recommend!!

Nina Y.

Yelp
Cool concept but food quality is horrible. I tried Ramen and Catfish platter from 2 different place. We found small piece of scrubber in ramen and catfish platter wasn't good. it was about $15 - $16. Ramen dish is not close to ramen at all. Wegman hot bar has so much better food than here. So sad...

Ethan M.

Yelp
ChefScape is a fantastic place to eat! Their wide variety of rotating restaurants sometimes includes Hawaiian, Columbian, and American cuisines. Each of the restaurants have unique flavors and delicacies. I was also able to do a Sweet Home Thai cooking class at ChefScape. Chef Heather was amazing, fun, and gave great cooking instructions. I would highly recommend ChefScape to anybody!

Dave G.

Yelp
Worst service imaginable. Spent 10 min just trying to order a beer. Couldn't get the Bartender to break away from a group of girls to take my order. Place sucks

Anne C.

Yelp
Awesome food! Once you figure out how to order on your phone, that's a little weird, but the food and service are spot on!!

J B.

Yelp
Such a weird place. Bar gets your attention. Open the door and immediately confused. Bar is nice. Food is an eclectic mix of mall food court, a notch above some airport food. Sat at bar, was told I could order food through website and it would be delivered to my seat. After fighting my browser who kept directing me to Chefspace, I finally make it to ChefScape. Only one of the four restaurants were available online. Bartender gets manager. Manger informs me of technology upgrades coming ... everything should be worked out in advance of some big Redskin event coming up soon. Manager offers no solution to order food. So I leave my drink at bar, navigate the rows of tables and make my way to one of the food vendors. ... order. Return to my seat. Food is delivered to my seat a bit later. Was a tasty sandwich, press toasted like a panini. Sides were laughable. ~$15. A fair price would have been more like $5.95. ... Left my card at bar. I suspect the card was clipped on bottom side of receipt. Regardless, I tried calling the only number that could be found across websites and social media. Number goes to a blackhole corporate call tree. No option to actually reach the restaurant. Drove back. Got my card back. ... Why be so confusing? Such a waste of a space. Would make a great bar/restaurant/club. Two star quality; Bar bumps to three stars.

Yelp
Johnny Ray's is one of the main highlights at Chefscape. I like the Ah So bar and it's selection of mixed drinks, wine and beer but when you want great food, Johnny Ray's has an excellent menu of soul food that woul please anyone. I have eaten there 5 times and still haven't tried everything on the menu. I highly recommend the food. You just can't find it anywhere else in Virginia. Make sure you try the collard greens and fried okra sides.

Yelp
Went to the Grand Opening and LOVED the place. The shrimp dish at Rooted + Bloomed was delicious - fresh shrimp grilled perfectly with great sides. I look forward to trying the other vendors, as well as the bar next time! (AhSo in Brambleton, btw, is a great place to go too.) The meeting space was large, well-lit and comfortable. Had a chance to try some more delicious foods by other ChefScape entrepreneurs. It's so AWESOME to have some NON-CHAIN restaurant choices here FINALLY. And if you've been wondering whether the public would enjoy some specialty food that your friends and family rave about, join as a member to get support, guidance and the opportunity to test market it without going bankrupt. We/the public would LOVE to try your specialty food!

Yelp
Cool idea. The Puerto Rican food vendor was awesome. Very friendly and their food was delicious.

Yelp
I didn't get a chance to try the food but it looked really good. We walked into the bar and it wasn't that busy for a Saturday night but we were told by the bartender rudely the menu we were looking at (happy hour menu) wasn't available but that she'd give us another menu. That menu never came and we waited 10 minutes. This isn't NYC, it's Leesburg. Should be able to get the drink menu faster than that. Based on other reviews, looks like they're having issues with the bar which is a shame because the food looked really good. Unfortunately, we'll never find out because we won't be back. We walked into Travinia a few minutes later were greeted and served immediately even though they were busier.
