Came here on a Wednesday morning and back again in the eve. No problem getting a seat on either visit and order was taken about 5 mins after seating, each time. This is a restaurant in a hotel which I was staying in. For breakfast, I ordered two eggs over easy with a side of bacon and a coffee. It also came with cute little potatoes and toast. The portion was just right for me, and the food tasted good. For the price (my receipt with tip came out to $28), it was worth it. Especially when I think of two other diners I had gone to previously that had similar pricing but bland food. For dinner, I ordered a pizza and a coffee cocktail. Both were really good and it came out to $48 with tip.

We came for dueling pianos which was being hosted here. Upon our arrival, we were told that we had to spend $25 per person on the restaurant’s food and beverage. Because we already had tickets to the event, we didn’t want to leave, but were disappointed. Food was good but pricey. 20% gratuity was automatically applied. Can’t say I would be interested in coming to another event here due to this

I recently had the pleasure of spending an unforgettable evening at Chelsea Table + Stage, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the incredible performance by Alex — a truly captivating performance artist who brought an energy and presence that was both magnetic and deeply moving. From the first moment on stage, Alex had the entire room completely engaged, blending storytelling, music, and emotion in a way that felt both intimate and electric. But the experience didn’t stop at the stage. The entire atmosphere of Chelsea Table + Stage is something special — chic yet comfortable, with lighting and acoustics that perfectly complement the performances. It’s clear the venue was designed with artistry in mind. And then there’s the food. Absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. From appetizers to dessert, the menu hit all the right notes, and the service was top-notch — attentive without ever being intrusive. This is a place where everything comes together: outstanding talent, incredible cuisine, and a warm, stylish ambiance. Chelsea Table + Stage isn’t just a venue — it’s an experience. I’ll definitely be back! A big thanks to Stephanie for welcoming myself and friends to a great experience that exceeded expectation. Did you sign at the end? -Benjamin

I did in-room dining while staying at the Hilton NY fashion district, and I seriously have NO REGRETS ordering here. the food was delicious, and I highly recommend anyone pay Chelsea Table & Stage a visit.

Service was great! Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Food was delicious but expensive for what it was ($12 fries and $20 for two fist sized arancini but hey, captive audience in a hotel restaurant in NYC) cocktails were fantastic, interesting flavor pairings and not too heavy handed with the pours.

The new venue in town. Well decorated, good cocktails, brunch options, and last but definitely not least, wonderful musicians - what else would you need? We came for Gotham Kings and brunch. They were great artists. The shakshuka and the strata were pretty good. Cocktails were tasty as well.

Wow! What a great place! We have stayed at this Hilton in the fashion district for years. We decided to have breakfast our first morning. Steven (Stephen?) seated us with a great smile and fantastic energy. We started chatting with him and he told us there were shows downstairs, one of which was a dueling piano show, every Saturday night. He gave us a look at the space, all the info to get tickets and gave glowing reviews of the show. HE DID NOT LIE!!! We were in NYC for 6 nights, 7 days…. We “did” NYC (all the city pass items plus so much more). Of all we did, this show was at the top of my list! The entertainment was non stop (till after 1am!!!), the service was top notch, the space was very comfortable… it was a spectacular night! So a shout out to Steven for telling us about it! We also did frequent the restaurant for breakfast several times while we were and each time was a great experience. We had David T as our server. Each time we had him, it was service with a smile, also great energy, friendly and efficient. There is no doubt we will stay at this Hilton again in the future, see another show and have our breakfast here! Keep up the great work!!!!

Google
WORSE BUTGER OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. The club downstairs is beautiful but considering how pricey the tickets are with a $25 minimum on top, you would expect they at least know how to cook. The burger was a complete disgrace, not only poorly executed but also the meat itself was bad. They asked me how I wanted it cooked but then didn’t bother to follow suit (never seen a more overcooked patty in my life). Fries were clearly out of a cheap bag of frozen food. All in all, worse than the worse fast food sandwich. It gave me cramps and a headache. Never stepping foot in this place again.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of attending this beautiful venue located at the Hilton Fashion District Hotel. Big thanks to Stephanie for booking the event! Witnessing Alex Boszhardt live was an incredible experience. From original songs to covers, there was never a moment I felt less than deeply captivated. Some songs to mention were: "Favorite Stars" "All The Small Things" & "Transcedental Cowboy" with Phil Robinson and many more! This was a music event that can't be described in words and I am so honored to have had the chance to witness it in a great view. Bravo!

Yelp
We went to see ALEX BOSZHARDT. The show was so amazing and entertaining. There was such a wide range of variety and Alex music. He did everything from original fun songs to the covers of some of our favorite 90s music. We had rib sliders and a burgers and they were both delicious. Thanks to for Stephanie for being a great host. We are so excited to explore a live music venue in New York City we've never been to.

Yelp
Okay, this has been a big Cabaret week for me, this time to see the talented Klea Blackstone. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Chelsea Table and stage. The ambiance is so cozy and the performers are incredible! Service is so quick and the portions are huge --way bigger than I was expected! Come hungry, the flatbreads and Peri Peri Chicken wraps are so good.

Yelp
I went to see the show dueling piano show and it was great. The venue was nice, cozy and comfortable. The waiters are very nice. Food and drink is average and typical NYC priced. Would recommend for a nice show. There is a $25 minimum spend per person.

Yelp
This morning, I got Eggs Benedict because I can't (don't) make it at home. Instead of an English muffin, they use a biscuit and shaved ham instead of Canadian bacon. No worries. It wasn't traditional, but it still tasted good. The side salad was amply sized. The service was attentive as well. I don't really like going out for breakfast but other people do and sometimes that's the only time to connect. So, while I'm not rushing back, if I'm in the are and need somewhere to meet for breakfast, I'd go back.

Yelp
WTF happened to CT&S?What a difference a day makes. This is our third visit. The first was kinda a chaotic mess. But the service was good and the food great. The second time was better, partly because they were aware of our disastrous first visit and partly because we were aware of the previous pitfalls. But the service was good and food great. Tonight was a TRAIN WRECK that went OFF THE RAILS. The service was so unbelievably bad. The menu, if that is what you want to call the thing they've put in place of what they used to call food, was twiddled down. And the thing they served and called food was for the most part, nothing like what food should be or taste. Let's start at the beginning. We arrived an hour early ( 6 p.m., purposefully so that we could order our appetizers and mains without having it all out at once, and to be able to order before everyone began to arrive.) Well, that was an epic fail. I mean we arrived at 6, and there was barely anyone seated. But despite that it took our server about 15 minutes to acknowledge us, even though we were right at the second table from the stage, where she walked by several, several, several times. Finally we called over a different server who was standing on the side because her section wasn't seated and they clearly aren't a pulled house so no one was helping anyone. Anyway, she took our beverage order for a bottle of sparkling water, which then had to wait cause she had to tell our server, who instead of putting the order in came back to tell us she got the water order. And, instead of delivering the drink in her hand to the table next to us, put it down on the empty seat at our table when my husband said we were ready to order. I'm guessing they don't train the staff. So, we order the food. It's a little wait for the appetizers. But no biggie. YET. I had the tuna crudo. He had the corn ribs. They were literally the least undesirable on the menu. The tuna was awesome. The corn a bit carnival-like and odd. Then we were done. And waited. And waited. And waited. Oh, we waited 40 minutes before we finally asked the manager who seemed scattered all about putting out fires to take the dirty plates that languished there. Then we waited. And waited. An HOUR AND 15 minutes after order our food --- a pizza something and a steak -- arrived, cold. We asked for a steak knife. And we waited. Show is already going. My husband gets up and asks for a steak knife. Server says again she'll bring it. Now 20 minutes after the cold (should have been hot food) is colder. The pizza stale. He can't eat that. It's vile. Worst than movie theater pizza. The steak is okay. Probably one of the worst meals and definitely the worst service we've had in years. My husband is in the hospitality industry so we're more understanding than most. Tables around us sat seated for 30+ minutes without water or having their order taken. And, not all the the tables were full. Many had kids. This should have been the easiest gig. When the previous manager was there, the menu was brimming with delicious options like scallops and pumpkin ravioli, charred Brussells sprouts. Now it's basically a low-rent Friday's with a cabaret. And this is only 6 months ago when we saw the last show there. If we come again, we will eat somewhere else first and have coffee and dessert only. Least is better if you want to enjoy the show. Frankly, as good as the show on stage was, it was hard to enjoy because of the sh*t show around us.

Yelp
It's a weird venue. It's intimate so that's nice but the seating is strange and the vibe is a little awkward? I like to know what the seating is like and the view before I go but there are no photos that show it clearly. You have to google deep to find some. That being said the concert we saw was great. Sound was awesome and the intimacy of the space made the musical aspect of it a great experience. I'm just not sure about the bar/restaurant in the venue itself.... First the required purchasing of something off the menu is daunting when the menu is so small and limiting. If you have an allergy or a dietary restriction forget it. We ended up just getting dessert (and it was tasty but my only complaint is how small the ice cream is compared to the entire apple crumble lol). Then they either sat someone on the wrong table or the usher showed them the wrong table because the couple in front of us had to move right before the show started (we had been there for about 20 minutes). The actual guest who was at that table had to wait until midway into the third song (maybe 25 minutes) for a waiter to remove the previous couples food and plates and drinks (took over the entire table). The person at the table couldn't even use the table at all. Seemed like a strange oversight. It bothered me because she looked uncomfortable but she was alone and a bit shy so didn't want to tell the waiters to do their job. They will only remove plates apparently if you're eating from it lol They asked me 3 times if I was done with my dessert, even when I'd just taken a bite - because the show was ending in 20 minutes. In fairness it was only one waitress who kept doing this so maybe she was in a rush or she was the manager but either way it's pretty annoying when someone is pulling your dish away from you while you're listening to the last three songs.

Yelp
We were here for a private party in honor of the life of my close pal Dr. Lonnie Smith. Had snacky things and cocktails. Nothing revelatory, but good nonetheless. The place has a nice vibe. A couple folks at the table got burgers wot looked really good...

Yelp
We originally booked tickets for a Colin Heshmat Quartet concert on Dec 15th, which unfortunately got cancelled. After a few frustrating hiccups in trying to get through to the venue for either a refund of monies or transfer of tickets, Stephanie, the venue Manager called me & after listening to my frustrations, went out of her way to correct the issue and made sure we had a good night at the New Years Eve concert. Chelsea Table & Stage is a great venue, a little glam, with an intimate setting. The food is very tasty & drinks are reasonably priced. We have been here quite a few times now and have never been disappointed at the caliber of musicians they have here. Definitely to be recommended. Y. Jerome-Gibbs

Yelp
I recommend Chelsea Table and Stage. I had the best seat, directly in front of the stage, so close I could have stuck my leg out under the table and kicked the skirt. The audience was outnumbered by the ensemble. That is too bad, because I also heard a great show, the Mingus Orchestra. I used to be a regular at Jazz Standard. I loved that place. I can see coming here often. It won't be Jazz Standard, with the BBQ chicken. But this is a spacious club -- by the standards for this genre of music, you have more room than any place else in the city. You will not be cramped, unlike at the more famous venues I won't mention. I didn't eat, so I have no idea how good the food is. The acoustics are not bad. They are not the best. I'm no expert. I am guessing the high ceiling is not actually good. But from directly in front of the musicians, it would be difficult to complain. I have heard the Mingus Orchestra probably ten times. They put on a good show. They have never been better. This is an ensemble with folks who played with Mingus himself. They have a guy such as Michael Rabinowitz on bassoon, who you are privileged to see performing. I'd praise this specific act in this venue as worth double the price of admission, truly jazz you need to experience -- live. This is why I live in New York City.

Yelp
I'm so glad to be one of the few people invited to join the opening of this place inside Hilton hotel with the same owner as sandbar rooftop. What a beautiful place and event. It's date worthy, catching up vibes with live music, amazing decor and delicious food Worth every visit. Will recommend

Yelp
The website never works for me. Luckily I spoke to Stephanie on the phone and she was able to take care of me and my party and get our tickets for us. A group of us came to see Vanessa Racci and Stephanie made herself be known and made us feel like we were in her own living room. Brava!

Yelp
We went to Chelsea Table and Stage for the first time because a good friend of ours was starring in It: A Musical Parody (and he friggin slayed it, by the way. Pun intended.) We don't normally go for the priciest seats in the house but it was a special occasion to see our friend from LA in NYC, so we splurged and got "ringside" seats. When we got there, we found out that some technical error had caused us to lose our tickets (apparently we never had them in the first place? I don't know, technology is weird and will always fail us from time to time). Full disclosure- I wasn't feeling great already (no shut up it wasn't covid, but I was getting over a awful night of food poisoning- had it not been for the fact that our friend was in the show, we might have skipped it). Point being is that I was already feeling like crap, and so hearing that we lost our seats wasn't well received by me. The host sat us at the table directly behind what would have been ours, and was very kind- she tried to explain what happened and was smart to offer to get her manager to come talk to us when she knew there wasn't much else she could personally do to make us happy. A few minutes later, the manager (maybe owner? Not sure) comes to our table and starts pouring a bottle of Prosecco, and once I realized it was for us I told him that we don't drink (the hubs is over 11 years sober!! ). He apologized and took the bottle away while sipping from the glass he just poured in a very charming and funny way. I think the plan was to comp us the bottle. He came back a minute later and spoke with us- he apologized profusely for the mix up and said our entire meal was going to be comped. He also said the table we were at was actually the best in the house, and after the show started I totally believed him. At intermission, a host approached us and showed us a "ringside" table whose guests had no-showed, and offered it to us for act two, while still making clear that the meal would still be comped. We actually decided to stay put- the manager was right, it really was a great table we ended up at. The service and wait staff were just as wonderful and consistent throughout the night. All this to say: I've worked in high end customer service for about 15 years, and this was probably the best example of a manager going above and beyond to take care of their guests after a mistake had happened. (Because they happen, people. We all make mistakes, and computers make them just as often, yet humans are the ones that have to bear the brunt of the angry customer.) I'm actually a little embarrassed with how disappointed I came across in the beginning, and I hope they know how grateful we are for what ended up being a fantastic evening. You have an amazing team, and if the manager isn't the owner, the owners better make sure he (and his awesome team) never leaves.

Yelp
Breakfast day 1: showed up around 8:30am and ended up waiting 30 minutes before we were even seated, and another 30 minutes went by and we were never even waited on. Not even waters. There were only two people working at the time, and when we would try to wave someone over they would just nod and walk away, but would never come back? The manager blamed the wait times on covid staffing issues. I couldn't afford to wait anymore so we had to leave the restaurant after about an hour of being ignored. Breakfast day 2: I took off to work early but my partner had time to kill, so she decided to give the breakfast a second chance. To her dismay, it was the wrong choice! Just a few hours later she called me while I was at my job site saying that she was violently sick and couldn't leave the restroom! I came back immediately and called a telemed. She was diagnosed with food poisoning. I'm pinning the blame on the restaurant since it was the only thing she had eaten that day (we had only eaten dinner the night before around 6pm). I called the restaurant to let them know, but got put on indefinite hold. I let it go on a very skeptical BOTD. Dinner service (3rd time trying the restaurant): Waited for over an hour and 15 min and the food finally arrived at my room, but was not correct. I wanted protein on my salad and it was left out. Called the restaurant to let them know and they comped the salad, but it still sucked since I was left eating a vegetarian dinner. And it wasn't even worth the money that was spent. Collard greens were basically moist yard trimmings. Salad was lettuce soaked in salty lemon juice. I tried this place three times because I'm here at the hotel for an extended stay and liked the convenience of the restaurant located in the hotel. Needless to say, you couldn't pay me to eat here again. Boutta hit up chipotle across the street P.s. the hotel itself has been great, would definitely stay here again for the prime location. I just won't eat at the restaurant again or recommend it to anyone.

Yelp
This is a new venue, a year old, and it was our first visit. We came for the show, 4 singers and a comedian, all about New York. The room is beautiful, with a two story ceiling height. Elegant table seating. We were able to choose our table when we booked online, so we were close to the performers. We arrived an hour before showtime so we could finish our dinner before it started and continue to sip our wine during the performance. The food was delicious, a little overpriced, but it is to be expected. We certainly will return.

Yelp
Well, this is a nice space, but *definitely* do not eat here! While the stage and venue environment is lovely, my partner got immediately violently ill after dinner here--to the point of us having to stop off on our short 30-min trip home so he could vomit, a lot. I had a tiny bite of his chicken and thought it seemed off (I did not end up getting sick), but he ate about half of it. We called afterwards to let the business know what happened, then received a call back saying that they were sorry he was "uncomfortable" but "food poisoning usually takes longer to happen." Not only was it awful to have him get so sick, it's pretty insulting to get that kind of message back when we're very clear on what happened. Even if you're not going to offer a refund, at least take it seriously that your food made a patron physically very ill. Needless to say, will not be back.

Yelp
Chelsea Table provided the most decadant dining experience in the week we explored NY. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive. For drinks we enjoyed the Depech a la Mode & Summer of '69 cocktails which were smooth and very well balanced. Then we had bubbles which were stellar. The presentation of the Hamachi Crudo was stunning, the citrus was bright & juicy and the sliced hearts of palm complimented the fish very well. For entrees we chose the Atlantic Cod and the NY strip steak. Both were cooked to perfection, beyond delicious and presented immaculately. We will definitely be back for dinner and a show!

Yelp
Worst concert venue ever; if you're there for a concert, do NOT sit at (or near) the bar. The noise of the bar drastically drowns out the music to the point where I couldn't enjoy the music at all (and I'm guessing the sound was also bad at the tables on that half of the venue). The bartender is a cocktail shaker extraordinaire, loudly shaking those cocktails constantly. Then there was the sound of digging into ice, and banging the cocktail shaker on the bar, and the sink running and dishes banging, and I could keep going. Servers also walked in front of me every five seconds (blocking the view and also making it uncomfortable because there wasn't a lot of space for them to squeeze by). I've been to similar venues before where there are bar seats along one side, but there's not a busy, functioning bar there. It they insist on keeping this awful setup, those bar seats should be sold at a drastically reduced price. I wish I were exaggerating how bad it was but unfortunately I'm not. I was hoping for a fun birthday night out, enjoying a band I love, and it was a massive disappointment (not because of the band but because I couldn't hear them). I won't be going back there again.

Meghan F.

Yelp
Was just at CT&S seeing George Krissa and had a great time. It's a really fun and modern venue with organized and friendly staff. The main manager, Steph was super attentive to all the tables during the night. Love the revolving entertainment making it great for all.

Yelp
A great find! The food is extremely high quality, and the shows are great as well. I think when this place is known about the prices will go up. Until then I'll definitely enjoy coming here. You are very close to the stage wherever you sit honestly, very intimate.

Michael R.

Yelp
What a great venue! Comfortable, spacious, good sight lines, excellent acoustics and sound engineering, tasty wine, and friendly service. Unlike at some other clubs, I didn't feel crammed in, rushed, or overcharged. I heard a great jazz duo (Karrin Allyson and Gil Goldstein) and look forward to returning.

Terri W.

Yelp
Gorgeous space! A wonderful and intimate place to listen to music. Frankie (the manager) and his team go anove and beyond to assure their guests are well taken care of. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Haven't left a Yelp review in a while, but I felt like I should add one here just to warn people - I got dinner here, and the food was just plain bad. I mean, it wasn't terrible, but you know how you can get pre-packaged salads and chicken and stuff in the supermarket? Yeah, those taste better than the food here. Long waits, too (at least the staff was nice, though). The next day I got a cheeseburger at the papaya stand on 23rd & 7th, and it was a much better meal all around.

Edward D.

Yelp
Absolutely awesome experience!!! Spent a great evening on 12/3 with my wife enjoying good food and drinks before the live performance which was a Big Band playing holiday tunes. We ended up dancing and having a beautiful night to remember. Loved it so much we are returning on 12/16 for more of the same with 4 more friends to join us. Special thanks to the manager, Frankie Gabriel, and his staff for making this a very special evening!!!
