The 10 Best Indian Restaurants In Jersey City - Jersey City - The Infatuation

"This food truck parked on Christopher Columbus Drive between Marin and Warren Street makes amazing dosas and kati rolls. The pepper chicken kati roll, masala dosa, and Indian coffee are the must-orders, but you’ll have to time it all accordingly—they’re only open from 6:30 to 10pm every evening, so plan to get there early to ensure you’re not stuck waiting in line." - nisha vedi pawar

This place is great!! Told them it was my first time and they told me exactly what to get. The dosa was great, nice and spicy the way I like it. Really cute family operation, clearly passionate about what they do. I’ll be going there again regularly.

There is no point in trying to order ahead, they will promise a pickup time and then dishonor it by making you wait another 20 minutes. The food is good but not worth the extended wait. All of the other 1 star reviews state exactly the same issue, hope they can take the criticism and improve on this.

We’ve been wanting to try Chennai Flavours for a while, and we finally got the chance today—and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Butter Masala Dosa, and it was absolutely delicious. The dosa was perfectly crisp, and the accompaniments were full of authentic flavor—truly took us back to the tastes of Chennai. Despite being very busy, the staff was warm, welcoming, and super friendly. Can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!

We were visiting the area for just a week and came across Chennai Flavors on Google Maps—and what a gem! This food truck serves some of the most authentic, homemade-tasting South Indian food we’ve had in a long time. The flavors instantly took us back to home-cooked meals—rich and flavorful. We enjoyed every bite so much that we came back the very next day and ordered again before heading back home! Their kothu parotta, biriyani, dosa, and chana curry were absolutely outstanding—each dish packed with depth, freshness, and just the right spice. You can truly feel the passion behind the cooking. If you’re anywhere nearby, don’t miss Chennai Flavors. It’s more than just a food truck—it’s a taste of home on wheels. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Took a while to get, but it was absolutely worth the wait. INCREDIBLE. Got the Mysore Masala dosa. Every part - dosa, masala, coconut chutney, sambar were incredible. How do they do such wizardry in a truck?! One of the best dosa’s I’ve had 🙌🏾

Good south indian food. Good tasty food. Casually did a search and found this place around 10pm. Did not have chance to have dosa as sambar and chutney got over. Tried veg kothu parotta , paneer kothu parrota and veg briyani.. very economical pricing. Be prepared for some extra wait time when it is crowded. Overall ok to go 👍

Food was very good and filling. Cooked fresh to order so expect to wait a little. Prices are very reasonable for quantity and quality.

I buy from them almost every week. The taste is consistently good. There are lines and wait times are sometimes long during peak hours, but nothing unusual for a food truck.
