"This food truck parked on Christopher Columbus Drive between Marin and Warren Street makes amazing dosas and kati rolls. The pepper chicken kati roll, masala dosa, and Indian coffee are the must-orders, but you’ll have to time it all accordingly—they’re only open from 6:30 to 10pm every evening, so plan to get there early to ensure you’re not stuck waiting in line." - nisha vedi pawar

Good south indian food. Good tasty food. Casually did a search and found this place around 10pm. Did not have chance to have dosa as sambar and chutney got over. Tried veg kothu parotta , paneer kothu parrota and veg briyani.. very economical pricing. Be prepared for some extra wait time when it is crowded. Overall ok to go 👍

Solid and affordable south Indian foodtruck. Got some kick in the food: I ordered Chicken Curry (like a brown onion gravy with some chilis) and a Chicken Pepper, rice plate, for $12 each. Came with some lettuce ("salad"). Good amount of food for the area. It's nothing fancy but hey, it's decent and filling.

Chennai flavors offers a homely food experience, and probably one of the best, most authentic, fresh South Indian food I've had in Jersey City (especially the coconut chutney). The truck is extremely clean, and they ensure separation between vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, which is quite important, especially to vegetarian and vegan people. I had Masala Dosa and Veg Biryani, both of which were amazing. Also the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes they serve, again probably the best in JC. Would definitely go here a few times!

Amateurs in cooking. Extremely slow. The taste was also ok ok We waited for almost 45 minutes for one dosa. And we were the first one to come and order. He was very slow in cooking and was not multitasking. He could have prepared multiple dosas at once.

Excellent food and very quick service (granted it was 9pm on a weeknight!) - the dosas and kotthu paratha were on point and so authentic! Will definitely return to this truck as the chef knows what he’s doing being such an experienced restaurateur!

This is a food truck on the Main Street in Jersey City. It’s manned by a father and son team. Food was good, but not great. We had a masala dosa and paneer roll. Even though we ate the dosa right away it was sadly soggy. The sambar was also bland. I wish they had made the dosa crispier as that may have made this review better. The paneer roll was good. Nothing memorable but everything was ok at best.

The food was delicious. We tried kothu parotta Kathi roll and masala dosa. All the foods were very tasty and like homemade taste. Sambar and chutney was even very tasty. Thick sambar and chutney. Will come back. Only problem is finding a parking spot.
