Chen's Noodle 狀元麵

The foods are simple and savory. I have tried shrimp wanton noodles soup. The broth tastes deep and wantons were cooked just right. The HK style iced milk tea is a good blend of tartness and dairy. It is a fresh departure from iced coffee.

Fantastic! Best authentic Hong Kong food in the Detroit Metro area! Don’t let the name fool you, this little place serves way more than just noodles and they feature some of the most classic Cantonese dishes straight outta Hong Kong. Recommended dishes: Duck Bun, Beef Pancake, Beef Fried Ho Fun Noodles, XO Chicken Chung Fun. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back (soon)!

Found this place by chance and the food is quite decent. Shrimp wonton was alright, broth is not as flavourful as the ones I get from Hong Kong but it is still decent and way better than many other Chinese restaurants here in Michigan. Spare ribs was tender and it hits the spot for me, I'll definitely have this again. Mapo tofu could be spicier but it still tasted great and I like that they use egg tofu for this. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for good cantanese dishes.

Awesome little Chinese joint. They mainly serve Cantonese style food. I ordered the rice rolls with peanut sauce and shrimp wonton.noodles. they both were amazing! The wonton skin was thin and had alot of shrimp it in. My friends got pork dumplings and mapo tofu (very good) and other friend got brisket noodles (s7) and steamed rice with pork. All of our Food was delicious. The service was quick and price was fairly cheap. I would come here again for sure! Good food and very friendly staff

A fantastic authentic restaurant specializing in Cantonese cuisine. The portions are decent size and a must try place. Don't let the plain decor fool you. It's a welcome addition to the neighborhood with wonderfully nice owners! For those unfamiliar with Cantonese cuisine, Chen's Noodle specializes in small appetizers (buns, beef scallion pancakes, and many more) and noodles/Stir-fry with a milder sweeter soy flavor profile. Some recommendations if you're unsure where to start: duck/pork bun (#2), soy-bean sauce pork & pork noodles (#16).

Food was delicious. I ordered the beef noodle soup and duck in buns. Great value. Service is fast.

We liked their duck buns and stir-fry bok choy. The Mapo tofu was delicious too but a little different from what we had expected and it had stronger miso (or something like that) flavor. The server was nice!

So good!! The food here is so amazing I want to go again asap! It's very authentic chinese food at a great price. The beef pancake is nothing like I've ever had before! 10/10 😃 I would recommend!! 😍😍
