Cheri Coffee & Flowers - Review - Allandale - Austin - The Infatuation
"Operating out of a tiny wooden stand on busy Burnet Road, Cheri is a walk-up coffee spot with a menu that leans straightforward—cappuccinos, cold brew, matcha, and the like. But it’s the scenery that sets this place apart. Where else can you find one of those charming beachside shacks with different-colored slats plopped into a parking lot?
If you stick around, you can lounge at one of the picnic tables flanked by plants, the bright orange Asado’s Taqueria trailer, and probably a dog or two. We like the housemade syrups available for hot or cold lattes, like brown sugar or ice cream milk, neither of which is overly sweet. Nearby, there’s a refrigerator with (fairly pricey) grab-and-go flower bouquets operating part-time, making Cheri the only one-stop shop for quality caffeine and chrysanthemums we know of.
