Bay Area Restaurants Where You Can Stock Up on Groceries and Pantry Staples | Eater SF

"Alright, maybe this Hong Kong-style bakery isn’t the best place to load up on fruits and veggies for the week. But no kitchen is complete without buns and cakes, and this Ocean Avenue shop has you well covered in that department. Cash-only, and make sure to bring enough for all the tantalizing goodies." - Paolo Bicchieri

The Best Restaurants on Ocean Avenue in San Francisco | Eater SF

"Somewhere between the pharmacy and hardware store, Cherry Blossom Bakery is a cute shop with locations both on Ocean Avenue and Clement Street for double the bun street cred. The case is filled with an array of Hong Kong–style pork buns, pineapple buns, egg tarts, strawberry cake, and even milk tea. Of course, it’s cash-only, but you can walk out with a pink bakery box filled with treats for a reasonable price." - Becky Duffett

I always get compliments from guests when I serve bring cakes from here. The cakes are always moist and not too sweet (I prefer them that way). Thank you to the cashier who acknowledged me and helped me when it was my turn in the line despite two other customers trying to cut in front of me!

This place reminds me of the food stands in developing countries--good but unsanitary food. I am giving 1 star because my friend ate the roll cake I bought and got food poisoning. There are a lot of pastries to choose from in this bakery. Some are really good tasting, while others are mediocre. If you don't mind the flies resting on the pastries, then I would recommend the mini pineapple bun, cream bun, and pineapple strudel. Those stored in the warming oven might be safer to eat, since flies (possibly) cannot get to them. These would include the regular sized pineapple bun and pork bun. The Swiss Roll Cakes are good; but the quality is inconsistent. One day, the cakes could be soft and fluffy, with good amount of cream. The next day, the cakes could be dry and with very little cream. Aside from the above mentioned, the staff handle the pastries roughly. On my second visit, I ordered about eight pastries. Either they were trying to save boxes or they were lazy, the staff packed all the pastries into one box. When I got home, the softer buns were so squished that they looked beyond sad--the cream bun's cream was all smushed. The inside of the store is quite dim. I don't know how the staff appear throughout the day, but the few times I were there (usually mid-day or afternoon), they all looked tired, rushed, and overworked. Maybe it has to do with the fact that the bakery opens at 5:45am. That means, do not expect good customer service. All in all, I have already blacklisted this bakery, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Google
My favorite place to get mini buns for any special occasion. Anytime I have a gathering, my husband and I order a dozen of mini bbq pork buns, mini hot dogs buns and mini custard buns. It is always a hit at these gathering. My personal favorite is the raisin twist and onion twist. My husband’s favorite is the egg tart (both mini and standard size). Yummy.

Google
Great Asian bakery. Perfect cream buns Makes one of my favorite lemon rolls in the city. Cake is light but surprisingly moist and the jam is perfectly tart. The chocolate roll cake is nice too, though the cream is a bit buttery, which may or may not be your thing. The pastry in the chicken pie/curry puff is very flaky with a somewhat sweet filling (not my favorite but still great).

My grandpa bought some bakeries but I noticed a slightly burnt pineapple bun. I still wonder why they gave us a burnt bun.

Google
Everyone waits for that one time of year to get their special flavor moon cakes to commemorate the August harvest full moon. Some have lotus seed, others bean paste, but the black sesame with egg yolk “moon” is especially tasty. Other times light and flakey pastries like apple turnovers and other Asian style French croissants are available as well as a large collection of variously filled pastries. Look also for their elaborate cakes which I have yet to try. Variety is the key word.

Google
Cash only. Bbq pork buns were a little hard and stuck to the bottom of the baking paper. I probably didn’t get a fresh batch, but prices are hard to beat!

Google
I'm an Uber driver, my rider asked me to stop here and said she'd "tip" me by getting me one of those eggs custard pastries. I of course said yes, and it was sooo good! I'll Def return on my own time and try other things ♡

Yelp
Great Hk milk tea/coffee mix! The breads are always light, fluffy and fresh My favorite Chinese bakery in San Francisco

Yelp
Came in to cherry blossom to do their cake tasting. The lady service us was kind and offered us to sit and have some tea. We tried the mango mousse, chocolate mousse, cappuccino, and strawberry mousse along with their strawberry cream cake. We ended up sticking with the mixed fruitcake and strawberry cream cake. If you order a 3 tiered cake, you can choose up to 3 flavors. The weekend prior we bought their fruitcake for Mother's Day and thought the cake was decent and decided to order our wedding cake here.

Yelp
Quality baked goods. Milk tea was on point like HK. Price is fair and service was great. I could take the quality in the baked goods I bought. The only thing I wish this was for this to be closer to my house. PS - Anyone know who that pretty Asian lady that works there is? The owner?

Yelp
I've been here many many times and each time I've received top notch service and buns! Not to mention, prices are CHEAAAP! We're always able to order over a dozen buns for less than $40. The inside is your usual small yet simple layout with a whole variety of bus behind the glass. There always is a bit of a line but man do those ladies work fast! First they always ask many you're ordering so they know how to pack it. The last few times I've ordered over a dozen so it comes in a box with a bag. I've been helped by different ladies and all of them are so nice, they get the ones in the back fresh out of the oven, and even hold it up for me to see if I'm satisfied with the one she picked out. I'm always in and out promptly as I hop back into my car with the scent of fresh buns! Absolutely would come here again!

Yelp
Cash only establishment . They have a variety of pastry's . I order a dozen baked BBQ pork buns . I like to try different place every time I come to the city. For dozen and three extra pastries the price wasn't too bad. If you want a dozen of pork buns Make sure you call ahead . There are tables to have a coffee with pastry inside .

Yelp
3.5 stars. We popped in for 2 items. Egg custard tarts and chicken pies. The crusts in both were very flaky but neither were buttery so tasted dry. The egg custard filling is good and not too sweet. I've had better more savory chicken pies from Sheng Kee bakeries but this one has more fillings. Lots of baked goodies in their display cases. We will have to make a return trip to sample other things.

Yelp
I love this bakery so much! I don't know why there aren't more 5-star reviews. My experiences here have always been flawless. ONE THING THAT PEOPLE FAIL TO MENTION IS THAT THIS PLACE TAKES ZELLE PAYMENTS. If you don't bring cash, that's no problem - ask them for their Zelle and it's done super quickly. I appreciate this option so much! I really love the lady at the front who always says, "And then?!" when you order. It's such a funny way of upselling and she does a great job. Upselling is important in every business so I completely understand. She has gotten me to get custard buns, ham & cheese buns, and hot dog buns when I wasn't planning on it and I never regretted my decisions! Everything is so cheap for what you get - usually 3 mini hot dog buns for $3.75, 3 mini pork buns for $3.75, and so on. Very, very worth! Bread is always nice and soft, and lots of times if you come at a good time they come out right fresh out of the oven. Best bakery!

Yelp
Cherry Blossom Bakery egg tarts are so flaky and delicious, they are my current favorite in the city. Also really like their Hong Kong Milk Tea and how nice & efficient they are. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I suppose I could have a celery stick, but who am I kidding? This is one bustling place no matter what time of day you're here. I've been to the popular one on Clement, but their Ocean Avenue location is a bigger space and hard to miss since it's in front of the traffic signal at Capitol. Their baked goods selection appeared bigger as well. No surprise that I seem to gravitate to the ones I know best. The $1.80 Custard Bun never fails to disappoint (photo), but the $1.85 Coconut Tart was just too heavy to indulge in beyond a couple of bites (photo). The fancier desserts like the mousses and the cake rolls were tempting, but hey, I've got my girlish figure to consider. BAKED GOODS - 4 stars...the buns deliver satisfaction more than the tarts AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...cleaner than Clement SERVICE - 2.5 stars...kinda curt here TOTAL - 3 stars...the custard bun saved my visit but not my girlish figure RELATED - Exploring Ingleside? Yelp
I usually go to their clement location but I accidentally ordered a cake at this location. I got their 8" fresh fruit cake for $38. This cake is loaded with fresh fruit! Melons, berries, kiwi, mango, and canned peaches! Inside was fresh and spongey. There are three sponge layers inside with whipped cream and fresh fruit. I even got a $5 gift certificate with the cake purchase! It's such a great promotion.

Yelp
I was very disappointed in the BBQ Pork buns, the put so much red food coloring in the meat, and the taste isn't that good. I also tried the curry beef bun, the flavor was barely curry flavored. I tried this bakery because people said it was comparable to Mr Bread. I have to say it's not even close to the quality. I hope the owners will take this to heart and evaluate there products. The service was excellent and the lady is friendly.

Yelp
I accidentally shopped here, bought two pineapple buns, two paper cup cakes, one coconut bun and one cream bun. Every bun tasted so good, especially The cream bun, was so yummy cuz they used salted cream! Two things that were not good: 1. no Apple Pay ( but accept Zelle) its so inconvenient to log in my bank account for Zelle, so I ended up paid by cash 2. Charged plastic bag for 25 cents each (if you shop a lot here, bring your own bag . I would still recommend this place to my friends to try, especially the cream bun

Yelp
Got my mom's birthday cake here. Nice strawberry cream sponge cake. It was good, and in the best Asian mom compliment of all when it comes to desserts, "oh not too sweet". Remember it's cash only :)

Amy K.

Yelp
Bought egg tarts from here it's very delicious. And also bought cake here and parent love it bc they like how it's not sweet. You know when it's good when your parents said it's not too sweet for them or too salty . Would def come back to try other items.
google avatar

Abbie C.

Yelp
Ordered a fruit cake with assorted fruit inside. It wasn't overly sweet, it was the light airy type of cake and light frosting you'd expect from an Asian bakery. The fruit cake options they offer vary based on what's inside the cake. The one I choose was $34 dollars. Egg tart custard was generous, but the crust wasn't flaky enough to my liking and a bit too thick. The bbq pork pineapple bun had a nice crisp on the top but the meat inside was too dry and more salty than sweet in flavor. Average overall.

Yelp
When there's a line, I am drawn to it. Since my husband is out of town, I decided to indulge, took a detour and joined the line. Typical of popular bakeries, the customers in front of me were purchasing large quantities of baked goods. I could overhear what choices were popular and nearly everyone was buying the mini pork buns. I included them in my order along with cream buns, chicken pies, and an egg custard. They packed the buns in a cute box for me. The egg custard was soft and fresh and delicately flavored, ranking among the best I've tasted. I tried one of the mini pork buns and it was delicious also. My husband will be home tomorrow and if he is lucky, there will be a few buns leftover for him.

Jady D.

Yelp
Service is so horrible, they always push you buy more, and then get a box for packing, but 5 egg tarts with 3 creamy buns how they put together, I let them imagine how I can enjoy it .
google avatar

Yelp
Where do you go when you are short soy sauce and garlic at home? Not here, but temptation from buying them will draw you here. Parking about three spaces away from here, I walked to a nearby market to get the above and noticed this was the only other open business on a recent Sunday morning. I saw a steady flow of customers coming in and out so my curiosity drew me in. The menu mostly is for drinks so I trusted my eyes in selecting a few items to share with my family. The first item I selected was the baked BBQ pork bun (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=_nqGavwujQeqBvQD4Zi7uQ&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q); it was your standard variety but I noticed the size is on the larger side. I liked that the filling (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=rpmqRIunU79cNMGKaUWd6g&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) was consistent throughout as all bites had dough and BBQ pork or sauce. The next item was the egg custard tart (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=CUs1F4LlJvljgl9-A27xpg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) which I reheated in the toaster oven. With the Grant Avenue gold standard place closed, trying theirs was a must. I liked that they weren't that sweet and the flavor leaned to the eggy and firm side. The last item that I tried was the sesame red bean bun (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=38kvVqT3dcxIBG-sK6IxIQ&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). I'm biased towards anything red bean so excuse me for enjoying this the most. There was no shortage of red bean paste so this pastry remained moist and easy to eat without having to pair a drink. I will get this again. There were three gals manning the counter as it was a bit of a free for all in ordering. The young lady efficiently placed my items in a pink box as I named them before tying it shut. The continuous coming and going customers is a good sign that the kitchen is able to rotate fresh goods consistently. I will study the drink menu more carefully before ordering at the counter. Red bean paste.

Yelp
My favorite item from here is the pork bun. They put an abundance amount of meat. The bread is nice and soft. This is definitely one of the best Chinese bakeries in San Francisco.

Yelp
So far I have been to 2 Cherry Blossom Bakery Locations the other Cherry Blossom Bakery Location is at Clement Street area and what I like most what the Cherry Blossom has is the Coconut Bun, Chicken Pie, hot dog bun... If you like eating the coconut bun, Chicken Pie, or the hot dog bun go to this Cherry blossom Bakery...
google avatar

Yelp
A solid 4-star bakery joint in the neighborhood. Remember to bring your cash, and get all those buns and baos. Yes, it is pricier than Chinatown, but you're getting pretty high quality egg tarts and bao here versus what you could get elsewhere in DC/SF, outside of Chinatown or the Richmond/Sunset. Would highly recommend you go for their egg tarts and custard buns. The char siu bao are hit or miss on the filling, but the pineapple buns are pretty standard. Obviously, it's not Pineapple King, but you could do a lot worse for far more $$.

Yelp
You can and should pre-order mooncakes online the day before Mid-autumn fest (credit cards accepted that way). Otherwise walk in the day of Mid-autumn Fest go in (cash only in store). Love their egg custards, too! I had a couple of events with kids, and the mooncakes were so nice , I went twice. My favs: white lotus, red bean, mung, coconut, and durian. The staff was so helpful and kind. Don't be miffed if they serve pre-order people first, just wait. I've been both customer types and appreciated how hard they are working to make savory and sweet morsels of goodness.

Yelp
My go-to bakery for everything! My favorites are their pineapple bun with bbq pork or custard inside. It's so delicious and full of filling. I've also tried their regular bbq bun and green onion bao and they are all super tasty!

Tina H.

Yelp
Good quality pastries with affordable prices. Also check out their refrigerator, they have soft drinks
google avatar

Ric L.

Yelp
Fresh and delicious! Fresh baked, and many selections of baked goods, cookies and cakes. Drinks and coffee makes your morning start easy. Ordering a cake for special occasions can check that chore off of your party list. Convenient hours We enjoyed the pineapple bun, BBQ Pork buns, almond cookies, green onion bun and the "Special BBQ Pork Bun" (Pictured) Staff is efficient and pleasant. Mary is awesome!
google avatar

Emily Z.

Yelp
Solid establishment for Chinese pastries! There's a huge selection to choose from too. My go to order here is the cocktail bun!! Definitely give it a try because there's tons of filling, and the filling is slightly salted to make the flavor stand out. The bbq pork buns are also really great here too! I wouldn't say this is the best Chinese bakery in the city since the bread isn't as soft and doughy as other places, but this bakery still sits pretty high on my list! Make sure to give them a try!
google avatar

Rod N.

Yelp
Somehow, I've always found street parking in front!! They have more variety than a lot of other places. Our go-to bao place now
google avatar

Merl S.

Yelp
I found this bakery on Door Dash. The baked goods are delicious. I really appreciate that they have mini baked pork buns and mini hot dogs in a bun. I wish they had mini cocktail buns as well. When I order them they are so super fresh, delicious and still warm. They are fast and friendly when they serve you. The bakery is very nice and orderly. I like the vibe in the store. I highly recommend Cherry Blssom Bakery for some simple baked goods if you don't have time to go to Chinatown.
google avatar

Jazmine P.

Yelp
I purchased two cheesecakes and one strawberry shortcake, and they were all incredibly delicious! The cheesecake was creamy yet thick, while the strawberry shortcake was light and fluffy, especially with the addition of the whipped cream to top it off! I'll be going back soon.

Letisha H.

Yelp
As I got to the end of my strawberry fruitcake, I saw this never will I ever come back
google avatar

Juanita A.

Yelp
I was on a mission to find sesame balls with red bean and my brother informed me that he used to get the sesame balls from this bakery. Parking is scarce, but I was able to park at Walgreens (hubby waited in the car). I came in and there were a lot of people waiting and ordering goodies. I also saw mooncakes being placed in cute little boxes. I went up to the counter and asked if they had sesame balls, because I didn't see any in the display cases. The counter person informed me that they do not have sesame balls. I was sad, it was the only reason I came to this bakery. Then I decided to buy red bean sesame bun, egg tarts, milk break, and one coconut muffin. The red bean sesame bun blew me away, it satisfied my craving. It had lines of red bean running throughout the bun with sesame seeds sprinkled on top. It was so yum. I would come back for that again.
google avatar

Jenny N.

Yelp
I had to come back during moon cake season to order more baked goods and pastries. I got all of their sesame bread and pineapple buns. If you're a fan of sesame, you'll love these items because they put a lot of sesame paste filling and the flavor is strong. I noticed that Cantonese bakery doesn't add as much sugar in there so the sesame filling would taste slightly bitter, which isn't a bad thing. You can't go wrong with their green onion twisted bread and corn pastry. Eat them when they're hot because they're so good! My least favorite pastry is the purple taro ball. It was hard and the taro had a consistency of a moon cake egg yolk. It honestly wasn't good and tasted kind of old. I feel like if they made a regular taro bun, it'd sell out more quickly. The prices are reasonable for the fresh bread.
google avatar

Liona L.

Yelp
DURIAN CAKE!! THEY SELL DURIAN CAKE HERE!! You do have to call them in advance to purchase durian cake, probably at least 1 day in advance. It's like your typical Asian fruit sponge cake, except instead of a layer of mixed fruit on the inside, the bottom layer is fresh durian. I usually hate eating cream and I scrape it off my cakes, but the cream here wasn't too sweet and heavy so I actually finished all of it. Overall, one of the better Asian cakes and a must-try for anyone who loves durian.
google avatar

Kathleen T.

Yelp
Love visiting this Chinese bakery whenever I'm in the city! Their green onion bread is my alll time favorite since it's fluffy and savory. It's hard to only pick one so I'm constantly leaving with a box full of pastries. Love their egg tarts too since the shell is flaky and delicious!
google avatar

Peter Y.

Yelp
The 10 inches fruit cake with fresh fruit was ready for pick up as requested. We opted to have the cake design with a drawing of Minnie for a fee. Also picked up some tasty egg tarts in good regular size but priced in the affordable side. Only downside for me is cash only.
google avatar

Sandy W.

Yelp
Came in around 1pm today and they were sold out of BBQ pork buns, red bean pineapple buns, and hot dog buns. One of workers kept trying to upsell. She also told me it would take 10 minutes for the buns. I waited 30 minutes. The worker was unapologetic. I was so bummed since I visit this bakery very often. **They are cash only.
google avatar

Dianamarie C.

Yelp
Love this cute neighborhood bakery! They have yummy pineapple buns, egg tarts, cakes and so many other delicious treats both sweet and savory. Ask for Mary, she's so nice!
google avatar

Vincent Q.

Yelp
Cherry Blossom is your one shop stop for Hong Kong style baked goods and cakes. They also have a pretty extensive menu of tea drinks. The breads I had here were decent but the star here is the egg tart. I just moved to SF after living in Hong Kong for the past five years and have eaten my fair share of egg tarts at different bakeries in HK. Even by HK standards the egg tarts here are good. I was pleasantly shocked by how good they were. Will definitely come back for these. The upselling of the staff definitely does exist but I can deal with that for the egg tarts.
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
Cash only. Baked fresh Cantonese pastries. Onion bun for the win. They have pork buns, egg tarts, pineapple buns, other pastries and cakes too! They have Hong Kong milk tea and other milk tea selections. Reasonably priced and they are quick to get your orders and out!
google avatar

Joyce L.

Yelp
I was walking on ocean Ave and saw this bakery, and decided to try it out. It was super busy on a Saturday afternoon. Good sign right? Maybe not.... Service was mediocre at best, they rushed you and made you feel very pressured to order stuff. We picked a few items to try. Everything tasted fine, nothing stood out as amazing. But one thing that did make me decide not to go back is that I found egg shell in their sponge cake. No thank you.

Sarah D.

Yelp
Went specifically for the egg tarts, since the Golden Gate Bakery's egg tart is no longer available (that I'm aware of). My craving for a mildly sweet, melt in your mouth custard with flakey crust definitely met my expectations. I only miss the fresh out of the oven feel where the custard is warm and slightly jiggles before it sets.
google avatar

Cassie L.

Yelp
Their bbq pork buns keep me coming back. I live out of town, but almost every time I'm back in SF visiting my parents I make sure to order a dozen to take home. The buns are pillowy and there is a decent amount of BBQ pork inside each .

Lia H.

Yelp
Local gem! Many staple items such as Cha Siu Baos are delicious and packed with filling. Favorites include BBQ pork buns, pineapple custard buns, and egg tarts. The only caveat is they don't take credit cards, only cash. The upside is that they are on Door Dash.

Heather R.

Yelp
Cakes and treats or fresh. The cake is airy and lightly sweetened. Ordered two strawberry cakes on separate occasions - the 10" cake sagged in the middle when we cut into it (the 9" cake sagged just a little). This place needs a ticket system because customers are served without staff being mindful of who is actually next (ie people do not line up). It can be challenging to communicate in English, so be patient.
google avatar

Jeff H.

Yelp
Huge buns here. Each bun was around $2. My total was $21 for 10 buns. I got 2x the pork bun, pineapple pork bun, meat hair bun and curry bun. These are much bigger than the ones at Hong Kong Cafe down on Mission st. I feel like I could eat around four of these before I get full. There's only way to find out. Too bad I just had lunch. No wait at 2pm on a Friday and there were tons of buns still available. Good job staff at Cherry Blossom Bakery.

Wendy Y.

Yelp
I liked this bakery so we ordered two dozens of egg tarts here for a party. We stopped by and prepaid the egg tarts three days prior to the pick up and asked for a pick up time at 10am. This review is specifically for the poor customer service from the owner and how she was condescending to her customers with very disrespectful attitude. On the day of pick up, we arrived less than 10 mins prior to the pick up time. The owner said they don't have enough egg tarts to fulfill our order and asked us to substitute a few with their coconut tarts, otherwise we would need to wait an hour for our complete order. We said that we asked for a pick up time at 10am for two dozens of egg tarts and they should have prepared for this order. The owner was very condescending and asked, "What do you expect me to do? Do you want me to throw up those egg tarts out of my stomach?" (a slang in Chinese) We were surprised by her reaction and she's not apologetic at all about wanting us to wait an hour for our complete order. Then someone from the back was yelling and said "we got new egg tarts ready now" and the owner grabbed those, put them in a box, and said to us "Here's your order. These are 5 mins earlier than your scheduled pick up time." Wow.. unbelievably bad attitude and not sure why she's having such a bad day so early during the day, and treating others with no respect. I am giving one star for the egg tarts because those were good, but as a customer helping their small business, I don't believe we should be treated the way we were. The owner should come to a realization that her attitude towards her patrons need to be improved, as people don't have to go to a store to pay and walk out feeling terrible.

Yelp
Time & Date: 8:30am, Saturday 4/3/21 Ordered by: Walk in Payment: Cash Item: Egg tart ($1.50) When I try to find an authentic Hong Kong style egg tart, I look for the Chinese puff pastry crust. Cherry Blossom Bakery does it so perfectly! Their crust is so buttery, layered, and flaky while the egg tart filling has a nice eggy bounce with the perfect amount of creamy sweetness. The top has a nice glossy glaze, and I can tell just how fresh it is. Tip: come in the morning while it's fresh out of the oven! FYI -- I heated up the egg tart in the oven when I got home so that's why the crust looks a little dark in one spot.
google avatar

Anna T.

Yelp
Great Chinese pastries with many kept in a warmer so it's like they are fresh out of the oven. So many varieties at great prices. They also have nicely decorated cakes as well. The ingredients are high quality which can be compromised when paying reasonable prices. I spoke to the manager there and suggested they open a location in Reno/Nevada where many Californians are relocating.
google avatar

Maria Elena L.

Yelp
The customer service was awesome! OMG the fruit tarts were amazing and simply delicious. The fruit was fresh, I love the decorative way they placed the strawberry kiwi blueberries and ball of cantaloupe. The custard was smooth light and creamy. The crust was buttery and flaky not overpowering the dessert itself. You can pay with Zelle too.

Yelp
Ordered: *BBQ Pork Buns * Egg Tarts *BBQ pork roll (similar to curry roll but with bbq pork) It is honestly the best bakery in the city!! Their egg tarts are not overly sweet & always fresh (sometimes they run out so call ahead if you plan to order a lot). The mini buns are super good & perfect for a snack or small breakfast! Their mini custard pineapple buns are THE BEST (better than other places in the city). They bake the buns WITH the custard already inside & it doesn't go bad even after a week. A different popular places mass produces the pineapple buns & just injects the custard filling a goes bad within a day :( so this place is definitely better than other places in the city!!! Must try!!!!! Parking is a little difficult but not impossible. The staff are super friendly as well!!
