Google
Super cute toy shop!! We bought some packs of pokémon (ripped them open immediately) and had a look around and at their cute toy museum! admission is only $10! There was also a silent auction when we went! If you're in the neighborhood, definitely worth a look.

Vintage toys as far as the eye see. Pinball machines and collectibles. I love visiting this place. I’m looking forward to when the toy museum opening up. I can’t help but wander in here to explore and perhaps find a the object to complete my toy collection. You never know what you’ll find but everything is nostalgic from my childhood.

Google
an amazing place to visit in victoria! i went in just to browse, but i was blown away by the sheer variety of toys. The museum is the cherry on top, with toys ranging back to 30-40 years. The owner was also amazing, as he gave us a discount on the museum tickets and gave us scavenger hunts to complete. upon completion, he gave us a couple vintage toys for free which we thought we were getting for a discount. an amazing place and wonderful owner, must visit!

good times

Google
What a store!! if you’re into collecting figures I highly recommend stopping by the owner is awesome!! I collect Akira figures, wherever I go I try to find them. They are pretty rare since the movie came out in 1986 the store had two figures. I was contemplating buying one of them then the owner decided to give me one for free. He only had two!! what a surprise. I can only think he saw the passion I had for collecting, and that tells me he has the same passion. That made the whole trip for me!!! If you go to Victoria, make sure you stop by the store. It looked like they were renovating to add more space. I’ll have to go back up to see what it looks like. .

I love Cherry Bomb Toys! I've been coming here since I was just a kid and always get a kick of nostalgia when I go in :) it's one of those places I will always make a stop into when I'm downtown. They have really friendly staff. They also hold a really awesome toy show at pearkes arena a couple of times a year which is definitely worth checking out.

Amazing little gem in downtown Victoria! It takes you back to your childhood. Things that you might of forgotten because of the busy life we have to live…. This place will make you feel happy and sad(in a good way) at the same time. The museum on the top floor is awesome! Definitely a place to visit!! Customer service is excellent! Thanks for having an amazing store!

Google
For toy collectors and anyone else who wants to buy or look at vintage (especially circa 1980s and 90s) toys and collectibles. I’m not a collector but I still had an awesome time viewing display case after display case of figurines that brought me back to my 80s childhood. I loved their Happy Meal toys and even bought a few figurines to give as gifts. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff, too. This will be a definite stop of mine every time I visit Victoria in the future.

Yelp
Ok, WOW! Frickin', just, WOW! This store is/was everything I wanted it to be. We stumbled in with zero expectations, and it's just wall-to-wall cool stuff! If you're interested in anything toy centric, this place is completely boss! I found a Funko Pop that I'd been wanting, normally only found in 3-pack, all by his lonesome. Also, the guy that helped me recommended a great place for poutine, and other cool stuff to do around town. Total score!

Yelp
The BEST new and vintage toy & collectables shop on the island. (Also possibly the best in the country !). Family owned and operated, the shop is also home to the National Toy Museum. The staff are all unbelievably friendly and awesome people. Everyone is welcome at Cherry Bomb. Highly recommend you visit this shop !

Yelp
A treasure chest of goodies welcomes you when you pass though the doorway. It's a store one should not miss when in Victoria, if your a collector of any age. The Toy Museum is totally worth the visit and transforms a few times a year.

Yelp
OH MY GOD!!! BEST. STORE. EVER!!! That was my first thought when I walked into Cherry Bomb. I was a thirty-something year old kid reliving my childhood, but this time I had a credit card with my name on it. Star Wars, Transformers, G.I. Joe, TMNT, He-Man, LEGO, Ghost Busters, you name it, they seemed to have it. The staff were all really friendly and outgoing, and they didn't have that 'comic book/music store' snobby attitude. You know, the attitude you get when you go into a shop and because you don't know the name of the guy who did the ink on the third edition of some completely vague comic, you're not worthy of their help attitude. I'll be back to Cherry Bomb in the very near future. I'm looking forward to buying back my original Star Wars figures that my parents were kind enough to sell for me at a garage sales for 50 cents each, albeit at a slightly inflated price.

Yelp
Loved reminiscing at old toys. Didn't recognize all of it, but it was fun seeing the stuff I did recognize. It's a shop down below and a museum of collections/collectibles upstairs. All based on donations to make the museum bigger. They have a lot of Star Wars stuff, but I'm glad they had a section of Star Trek stuff so I could get something for my dad's birthday. I wasn't too familiar with the Star Trek character, so the owner helped me through all the collectible characters. He was so nice. Because I was trying to get a set, he gave me a deal. He also gave me a deal on some Power Rangers stuff. He said, "That's too much for this! Let me knock down the price." He didn't laugh too hard when I got confused on some of the Star Trek characters... Such a cool shop and a cool owner! Definitely want to come back next time for some Sesame Street/Muppets stuff!!!!!

Yelp
Great cozy toy store with lots of fun stuff. I particularly enjoyed the toy museum upstairs, found several treasures from down memory lane (see photos). Owner is a nice guy and very knowledgeable! I mentioned I didn't see a Major Matt Mason set and he rattled off the details and that it was in the works!

Yelp
AMAZING!! We live in Texas and visited Victoria BC as part of a cruise and heard about this store online. My husband and I were beyond impressed with Cherry Bomb Toys! They had an amazing selection of toys for collectors, enthusiasts and big kids at heart. They also had a museum upstairs that had many toys, action figures and one of a kind items on display. It made our trip to Victoria amazing! The owner of the shop is the most honest and friendly business owners I have ever met, he was very informative and I learned a lot about some of our favorite TV shows, Star Wars, and even Studio Ghibli. He even took the time to tell us about Victoria and even gave us directions after we left the store. We got a MOTU action figure, a Studio Ghibli shirt, and more! Prices are very reasonable and we will definitely be making a trip back to Nerdvana and Cherry Bomb Toys.

Yelp
I Love Cherry Bomb Toys!!! They have toys I remember having as a kid. I find that all prices are comparible as well as lower than going through online sources. Twice a year I look forward to the Ultimate Toy Fairs they put on. You can find almost anything toy related there, used rare and new items alike. It can be hard to visit the store the following days only because they have to restock the store with all the wonderful items they had at the show. I'm always greeted when I walk through the door with a warm hello (aside from the busy day, but I still get a greet when the staff can spare a moment from other toy enthusiasts) and asked if there is a certain item I'm looking for, which by now they know is Lego and the 6 inch female superheroines figures. If your looking for that toy you had fond memories of when you where a child, you have to make this your first stop on your epic quest!

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVED shopping in here. Me and my boyfriend spent a good couple of hours looking around in here. I wish I got the name of the man who was working that day. He was super friendly and you could tell he loved his job. The museum part wasn't open when we were there, so that will bring us back very soon. I highly suggest checking out this store.

Yelp
This store is amazing: a huge collection of vintage and recent toys, mostly action figures but some statues. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. I only wish I had more time and room in my bag. And there's a free museum upstairs with a great collection (Visionaries!)

Yelp
Interesting, fun, and the staff there were very engaging and informative. They LOVE what they do and they love to talk about it. Really a GREAT experience. I only wish the rest of my party wanted to explore each nook and cranny as I did. I could have spent hours there!

Yelp
TOTALLY amazing! For the kid in us. Esp. for the kids, that grew up in the 70's and 80's- best selection of transformers, GI joe, star wars, he-man, etc. Great stuff and the prices aren't too crazy for us wanting some of our childhood back

Yelp
Fun store! Lots of current and retro collectibles. Store proprietor, B., is super-friendly, and great to chat with.

Yelp
The best place I have found on the west coast for vintage toy collectibles. Also a very big fan of their Toy shows they do twice a year a perks. The owner operators have an excellent knowledge base of collectibles.
