I have wanted to come here for awhile and am happy that we decided to try this out. For years I have been going to their sister restaurant Hillstone and always been treated well. The place was fairly busy over the weekend, I imagine due to the holiday. When I asked for a table for two at 4pm they advised that they didn't have any availability until 8:30pm, however they said if something opened in the bar we could be seated. We didn't have to wait more than 3 or 4 minutes to sit at the bar. The atmosphere was nice and all of the staff was very friendly.
We started off with the Dip Duo, which is queso and guacamole served with chips. This dish was fine, it could have used 4 more chips for the amount of dip we had, but we survived. 8.7/10. The dips had great flavor and was a satisfying way to start the meal. We also shared an Emerald Kale and Rotisserie Chicken salad as a starter. The food came out very quickly and we were pleased with this. The salad was good, almost a little too much dressing, a little smaller than I would have expected but had a lot of chicken. Great flavor 8.3/10.
For entrees we ordered the Wood-Grilled Ribeye 8.5/10, fries were 8.3/10. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries had a great crisp on them. My partner got the Knife and Food Ribs which had a mustard sauce, this had a great smoky flavor 9.2/10, the coleslaw left a little to be desired. We tried a few sides the Roasted Peppers with French Feta, simple, plain and great 8/10. We also ordered the Braised Red Cabbage, which was just alright, not a whole lot going on but the cheese on it made it better 6.8/10.
For dessert we got the Banana Cream Pie with Graham Cracker and Walnut crust. We got it with no caramel, as I figured it would be too sweet. Very happy that I decided to try this. 9.1/10. Great flavor and had a large amount of crust, which I enjoyed.
Looking forward to heading back again soon.
