An incredible find after leaving our Harvest Host overnight stay in Valley Springs! We picked up some beautiful, fresh-picked veggies, a giant watermelon and some homemade jam. The couple running the farm were so welcoming and kind. If I lived in this area, I’d be there every weekend. It’s not far off Hwy 90 too.

My family and I stopped over for some pumpkin picking and boy, did we have fun! Plenty of wide open space without having to walk miles just to get there. The family that runs Cherry Rock Farms is so friendly and helpful. Their products are so fresh and tasty too. For the day, they had homemade cupcakes and even had a food truck out (Big Orange Food Truck) with amazing food!

Why didn’t I know about this Narnia-like place before? I’ve only been here for 25 years and just found about it. I’m telling you, you gotta go to this farm, it’s amazing. We bought everything from weirdly-shaped and colored pumpkins to veggies to peanut butter and honey. The flavors are unbeatable, truly organic. They even have Kohlrabi! If you don’t know what that is, gotta visit. Oh, and they also have activities like hay rides and pumpkin picking and baby animals for your little ones to touch, touch, touch. I gotta go back and get more cinnamon peanut butter. Totally addicting. In a good way.
