Where do I start? It’s like walking into a circus crossed with a carnival crossed with your favorite childhood memories of the ice cream truck, vintage toys, happy birthdays, and the most nostalgic moments. The ice cream is fresh and flavorful. The service was so warm friendly. Definitely a place to sit down and eat your favorites ice cream with friends and family. ****And the bathrooms are clean! If you’re 2 or 92, this is the place for you.

Our favorite place — my kids absolutely love it! We visit all year round, but especially during the holidays like Halloween and Christmas when the decorations are amazing. This time there was a long line at the door (it was Sunday), but it moved fast and we were served quickly. The kids were happy and a little scared by the spooky decorations — my oldest said we’ll come back at Christmas when it’s “not so scary.” 😂

I don’t think it’s possible to leave a single bad review for this place. Every time we visit Coral Springs, Cherry Smash is an absolute must! This ambience in this place is incredible. They always have new and cool things on display that are enjoyable for both kids and adults alike. The ice cream is not only reasonably priced, but the flavors are incredible! I cannot brag enough about how amazing this ice cream joint is. Easily better than any other dessert place in the area and is in our top 10 for the country! Try the Elvis!!!

What can I say? 😂!! It's an amazing place to take your family for some delicious ice cream and take a trip down memory lane with all sorts of vintage machines that remind you of your childhood and even further back, the service is top-notch, great people go there, and the ice cream is incredibly tasty. You have to check it out, it's an experience you won't want to miss.

My family and I went here for the first time for their Halloween Event! It was great! The Halloween decorations were spootacular and the ice cream was fantastic. I recommend trying the milkshakes and Sorbet flavors!!

Fun ice cream parlor with really good ice cream, unique flavors, and lots of nostalgia everywhere you turned. I have a Barbie bathroom for the women which I understand is very cool. Especially great to visit during Halloween and Christmas season when they have loads of decorations, both inside and outside.

One of the best spots in Coral Springs. It has fun decorations, tasty ice cream, friendly employees, and is reasonably priced. I have never had an ice cream flavor I did not like here. My favorites are Birthday Cake, Cookie Monster, and cotton candy. I highly recommend.

They offered many other extravagant specialties like the Root Beer Float, Cherry Smash, Ice Cream Sodas, The Elvis, The Commish, Smores, The Waffle and Bananas Foster amongst others. All in all, it seems like this ice cream parlor was a place not only for great ice cream but also for embracing the charm of bygone eras, creating a unique and memorable experience. Will return with friends for another ice cream adventure.

Not only is the ice cream the best in town but during the holidays, EVEN BETTER! We went on a Sunday night which meant the line was down the parking lot! But we decided to do take out and just walk inside to see how cool it looks. It's decorated so beautifully and so detailed, great for kids, family, date night you name it! There are some tables outside you can sit. There's a snow machine that shoots out suds that look like snow and the grinch made an appearance. We would definitely come back even after the holidays!

Decided to try this famous ice cream parlor to see and experience their Halloween theme decor! The decoration it's on point very much out there full Halloween theme inside and outside of the establishment, was super cool and interesting! Came here on a Saturday night and the lines were out the door both to order from the little walk up window and to go inside . The have around 10 Sundays options and good amount of flavor of ice cream to choose from . You have a good options of topping for gummy bears to chocolate chip . The favorite was the gooey banana with caramel on top , it was delicious! Good to come with family and friends ! You might have a smaller wait time coming on a weekday but it's something fun to do .

Not much seating inside so be prepared to eat standing outside if you can't find outdoor dining seats. Lines are typically out the door, so be prepared to wait.

BRAIN FREEZE ALERT !!! So many wonderful reviews from this old time themed ice cream parlor in Coral Springs. Some of our Yelper friends told me that the ambiance is crazy here and its a must see. There is no way to miss the front of the building that is lit up with an enormous Christmas theme covering a majority of the Cherry Smash sign. Quick easy parking near the front doors and after taking some exterior pics I walked inside and was immediately smiling. Christmas theme filled the entire place including a giant teddy bear that closes its arms when you hug it. The front room had candy and ice cream for sale. The ice cream server prepared a brownie sundae with caramel ice cream topped with whip cream, chocolate drizzle and a cherry. I sat at a back table overlooking the motion Christmas arrangements and next to an old piano and a scary Jack Frost standing over me. Got a brain freeze from eating too fast. This place did not spare any space including the women's bathroom that had authentic barbie dolls on the walls which were pink pink pink. Super fun place to eat retro ice cream sundaes with friends and family.

This place is an experience! I came in by myself and with my husband during Halloween season, and the place is completely decked out in wall-to-wall Halloween decorations, down to the employees wearing costumes! I really enjoyed the atmosphere/ambiance. What a great place to bring kids. The ice cream is very good quality, especially the plain vanilla and the pumpkin swirl/stripe ice cream. I really enjoyed the Belgian waffle and my husband enjoyed his brownie sundae. When I went with my husband I ordered the s'mores sundae which was good, but too sweet for my taste. I would 100% return to Cherry Smash to try other things and will maybe bring some kids next time :D

This is hands-down, one of the best ice cream parlors in South Florida. Everything about Cherry Smash is nostalgic. The decor that's changed every season from Halloween, the Fourth of July to Christmastime. It's always go big or go home spectacular! The service is speedy and very friendly watch mention there's always a line of people outside the door.

Great little hidden gem to splurge and enjoy Halloween decor. Drive from Miami to Coral Springs and it was WORTH it. There's a variety of ice cream flavors, toppings and menu items. Went on a busy day, and staff always happy to be helpful. Definitely recommend the drive to check Cherry Smash.

The restaurant is really cool inside. They have a lot of novelty items around. I got the Cookie Monster cone while my girlfriend got a cup. The staff was nice and I would go back if I was in the area.

We have always had a great experience here. Although the seating is limited and lines can be long around the holidays, we plan for it with little ones. The Halloween decor was on point this year and the ice cream is always delicious. They do have vegan options for those of us without the strong genetics to digest all the dairy our heart desires.

I must say I love this place I had seen reels on social media and heard from people who had visited this Ice Cream shop, but I was not ready for the amazing place this turned out to be. I went on a Saturday as I had told my grandkids I had a surprise for them and the surprise was me.. LOL. They turn the ice cream shop into a Halloween show so spectacular that you will want to visit many times during Halloween. There are so many animatronics and decorations that make it a really fun visit. The kids loved it and asked when we were returning. The ice cream was delicious and made in-house and they honor the 2 free toppings for Yelp which my little one loved because he got to choose his 2 favorites for his chocolate ice cream. I chose a cone with my favorite Rocky Road. the staff was amazing and their spirits made it more enjoyable all in character. The line moves fast and at the time we went was not too long even the rain did not stop people from visiting when we left was a different story as the line was pretty long but as well they had great control at the entrance. you have the option to buy the ice cream at the takeout window outside and then go in and enjoy the show. They have ample parking and seating outside. I will definitely be back.

Fun place. I went to Cherry Smash around Halloween after a birthday party. The line was kind of long, but it was worth it. The inside has little of great movie inspired decorations and the ice cream is very good. I don't know if it always looks like that or if they only decorate for the holiday. They had a ton of options for ice cream based desserts. I would go again if I am in the Coral Springs area.

Luckily they offer free samples, so explore away! Seriously that's the best way to start an ice cream experience, and best of all, the friendly staff is happy to help you find your flavor. I landed on Purple Haze, a combination of blackberry ice cream with chocolate covered blackberries, and the espresso chip which had real espresso beans! The ice cream is rich and dense, and the half and half small cup is more than enough for one and maybe enough for two. But who are we kidding? We stumbled upon this after great tacos in the same row of stores. What a cool place! It's a throwback to old time ice cream parlors. Lots of collectibles and excellent vegan ice cream. Only two of those flavors, but they were great. Vanilla and mango sorbet, which together were even better! Fun place!

Love having this ice cream parlor close by. Truly reminds me of the candy shop/parlor in Willy wonka! It's such a nostalgic vibe and great for the kids. A great selection of flavors, candy and speciality ice cream desserts. The table next to us got a banana split and it was very yummy looking! A small cup runs you about $6.50 and the prices go up from there but it's totally worth it. Friendly staff, great experience, and delicious treats. You can't go wrong. Highly recommend!

This place rocks! It immediately caught my eye from the road with all the Halloween decorations outside the restaurant. As I walked in, I was even more surprised by the amount of decorations inside. I don't think I saw a single corner without animatronics, haunted dolls, pumpkins, inflatables, wallpapers or Halloween lights. It's a Halloween fanatic's dream. And the place is spotless, which is always a plus. The amount of options in ice cream flavors was wonderful. They had every flavor possible; both classic options and ones I've never heard of. I ordered a Vegan Mango Sorbet and it was wonderful. The service was spectacular. The people working here were incredibly nice and speedy with my order. I waited no longer than 1min. My only issue with this place is the prices. I ended up paying around $6 for the small cup. That's insane. Your regular mom-and-pop ice cream shop sells their extra large container for that amount of money. If you're willing to pay those prices , this place is amazing and a fun spot to bring the family when you're trying to cool down... or be scared... your choice I guess! Our family loves this spot. So many nostalgia!! Here is what we ordered and loved: Little one loves vanilla on a cone and a cup for back up I love the peanut butter chocolate ice cream and my husband loves the java chip.

This was my first time coming to this decked out ice cream parlor. There was a bit of a wait but nothing crazy I want to say less than 10 minutes if that. When you walk in there is a small room where you place your order for your ice cream but it is completely decorated and all festive and holiday decor. I know that they always decorate for Halloween too but I only went during the holidays and or Christmas time. I had a scoop in a cup of the s'mores ice cream and it was so delicious. I definitely will be coming back and bringing my nieces and family to see all the beautiful decor.

Very busy! There is an amazingly decorated inside area, but it was too packed to find a table. There is a to-go window you can order from, which also has a long line. There a handful of outside tables as well. We got chocolate brownie, chocolate, and strawberry shortcake - all delicious. We also got a chocolate malt. Would definitely go back.

Looking for a fun treat for your family, then you must make your way to cherry smash. Everywhere you look you find such unique decor from the walls to the ceiling. The service is very quick and that's a plus when you have antsy kids that are ready for some ice cream. The sundaes are definitely meant for two or three people to share. We devoured "The Elvis". This sundae had chocolate syrup, peanut butter, caramel and bananas. It certainly captured the essence of Elvis's favorite flavor combo. They have many flavors of ice creams and specialty sundaes for you and your family to enjoy.

10/10!! This place is amazing. Not just the selection of amazing ice cream and treats but the decor from all the antiques is so cool. The service of the staff did not disappoint at all. Would definitely go back to try other desserts. We had a banana split as well as an Elvis and each one was so yummy and mouthwatering.

Went here last night for their Halloween experience. There was a bouncy house that was wet and kids kept falling off and getting hurt. Outside of inappropriate supervision there, the rest was good. There's a lot to look at and multiple jump scares. Ambiance is on point. Service was faster than I expected and we got some ice cream samples before buying. My kids and I finished our ice cream cones before we got back outside there's so much to see . The ice cream was a little overpriced, $24 for 3 single waffle cones otherwise it was worth it for how fun it was. I wouldn't like those prices if the place wasn't so awesome and scary.

Wow. This was a really cool place to pop into!! The decor is really interesting and colorful!! Something cool everywhere you look. Mostly teenagers working, but all seemed friendly & the place was clean & organized, even though it was busy. I opted for a small Sunday & my son got a waffle cone with sprinkles with Oreo & cotton candy flavor ice cream. It came with a fluff of cotton candy on top & he was so excited Definitely stop in with the kids for an awesome experience

We haven't been here in awhile but came tonight with visiting family. As usual the ice cream was great, the place is a feast for the eyes, and the staff was wonderful. I'd specifically like to thank Alex for her help. My mother in law doesn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish. Alex helped us out and was super patient and helpful. We couldn't ask for a better experience.

Cool place! It was decorated for Halloween to the max! The ice cream is homemade so that is always a plus, the only thing is my daughter ordered the Brownie ice cream which could have had more brownie pieces, my strawberry cheesecake was delicious. Highly recommend.

This place is an experience independent of the other ce cream! We came just after the New Year so everything was still decorated for Christmas. I cannot imagine the amount of work that goes into decorating for the holidays, but there was so much to see that it's impossible to catch everything in one visit. As for the ice cream, we all enjoyed ours tremendously! I had the espresso chip and chocolate peanut butter - both were delicious. They do not skimp on the scoops, and I would have been equally as happy having a small single dish. Come with the kids...or without them, just go!

I am a parent to a high-schooler/ employee here and almost every day they come home upset that the manager Art has verbally bullied and talked down not only on them but also other employees. This is not the first time this has happened I've had a confrontation with Art before. The owners will protect this man simply because he has been with them for years also he's responsible for all the holiday decorations and I'm sure maintenance but this has to stop no child should be afraid of going to work because of the attitude they expect from Art. Something needs to be done about this because I will gather a big group of parents and protest in front of your business.

Yummy ice cream with artisan themed toppings. The staff offered great customer service and was willing to answer all of our questions, and I do mean all since we couldn't make up our minds. I was able to sample as many as I'd like, and I'm happy with my strawberry cheesecake selection. Fresh strawberries; sweet and a little tart, creamy texture, "sour" and buttery flavor from the cream cheese, and soft and chewy graham cracker pieces, DELIGHTFUL!

I drove from Davie to Coral Springs just to enjoy a vanilla milk shake. I would usually go to an ice cream parlor located in front of the Coral Square Mall, but after my recent experience in service, I decided against it. Anyway, as soon as walked into the door I was immediately greeted by a extremely polite and outgoing young lady. She answers ALL of questions knowledgeably and politely. When I received the milk shake, it was in a glass container with the silver mixing container next to it. This is not something you see elsewhere. I was blown away. The atmosphere is a throw back to the 50's and the 60's with checker board tiles and plenty of memorabilia. Being there is like turning back the hands of time to when I was in high school to a similar shop my friends and I would frequent. Regardless of the distance, Cherry Smash is my new ice cream stop.

It's the holidays so it's decorated for the season with Christmas trees, Santa Claus, Menorahs, Nativity scenes, and the best part, at night, it's spectacularly lit and "snow" spurts out for all the kids (young and old) to enjoy...! The place inside has limited seating but it's delightfully decorated as well. There is a take-out window and places to sit outside if you don't want to wait for an inside table. They have a variety of ice cream flavors, sundaes, and toppings and all of them look rich, creamy, decadent and worth the holiday calories...! This place is worth the visit during any holiday season...!

Absolutely love this place. It's so adorably decorated. I found them on IG and had to check it out. They do holiday themes for Halloween and Christmas. They also have snowfall on the weekends which Looks so fun. Great family ice cream spot to check out. The ice cream options are really good. I got the turtle and also tried the s'mores. I cannot wait to go back and try some of the shakes and other options. There is a parking lot which has ample spots in the shopping center. It does get busy obviously because of the flare and vibe this place has. Highly recommend checking it out. You can't miss this place with all the decor and lights. Who has the most Halloween "spirit" in Coral Springs? Cherry Smash! Cherry Smash was opened by Coral Springs residents Sal and Sheila Bellassai in 2012 as a way to showcase their antiques. Ever since then it has become a local institution. I have so many great memories of taking my daughter there for an ice cream after class when she used to attend karate down the road. I don't get here as much as I used to but if you love Halloween as much as I do then you are going to want to visit this month. The fun starts outside with a flying witch, giant skeleton, and a dragon. Inside every inch is decked out with the most amazing Halloween decorations. Some are scary and some are sweet. I may have even been startled when I tried to make my way to the restroom. After admiring all of the decor it was time to get down to business with ice cream. For Halloween the ice cream is renamed with holiday appropriate monikers like Spooky Man and Death by Peanut Butter. You can have all kinds of fancy sundaes but I like to keep it simple so I ordered the Oogie chocolate chip mint in a waffle cone. It was just the way I like it with large chunks of chocolate. They also have a large counter with all kinds of candy treats. It would be a grave mistake to miss all this fun but if Halloween is not your jam they go all out for Christmas too and as they remind you it is only 84 days away.

My daughter had this book marked for me for over a year. I'll show you pictures of the outside, but I'll leave the inside for you to experience. They don't accept the two free toppings anymore. I had a Mint Chocolate Chip cone and Max had the sugar free cherry ice cream with butterscotch and whipped cream. They have regular, sugar free, and vegan flavors. The service is fast and friendly. Make sure you have time. Don't stop and dash. There are so many things to explore that your ice cream cone will be melting all of your hand because you will be in awe like a child.
