Western Australia for the Food Is the Next Great Food Lover's Destination

"A vineyard restaurant on the principal scenic route where the writer lunched on seafood served by a striking server described as a Lady Gaga doppelgänger in a crisp white shirt — an example of the region's spare-no-expense, polished wine-country dining." - Kevin West Kevin West Kevin West is a writer, food consultant, and “canning evangelist” (according to NPR). A classy wine bar with delicious food to go and a great wine list from Australia and around the world.  We tried dishes across the menu to share and it was all very good wine bar food with good produce, great sauces and flavour, and nice presentation.  It's a little on the pricier side for what you get, but it has a nice intimate vibe about it.

Delightful service, bistro feel, vast & varied wine list and the food is tasty tasy tasty. We love it here and will be back regularly. The staff are the epitome of professional service consistently high. The interior feels and looks like an adult space with great sounds. Credit to owners and teamwork. 5 stars 🌟

This is a little hidden gem. Very sophisticated, beautiful atmosphere, impeccable service and lovely choice of wine from all over the world. We booked a table for 6 ppl and had our own room, with lovely glass walls . Steak was delicious and duck parpadelle superb. My friends had the crumbed cutlets which looked amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Also for such a classy venue in Subiaco, which u enter via a rear car park off Rokeby road, we paid $120 each for two courses, cocktails to start and top shelf wines. Such good value . Thank you Cherubino.

We were excited to try this restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t meet expectations. While the customer service was very good—friendly and attentive—the food and overall experience left a lot to be desired. Right when we walked in, we were hit by a strong kitchen smell, like oil and grill smoke, which lingered throughout our entire visit. By the time we left, our clothes and hair were smelling like a fryer—something you definitely don’t expect (or want) when dining out. It seems like the ventilation or exhaust system isn’t working properly. As for the food, I had the pistachio risotto topped with prawn carpaccio. The portion was very small, barely covering the plate, and to make it worse, the carpaccio had a plastic layer still stuck on top. My husband ordered the eye fillet, and although he’s a big guy, his dish came with just two tiny pieces of meat. We also tried the crunchy potatoes, but they were overly oily and heavy. In the end, we left still hungry and ended up grabbing dinner somewhere else. For the prices they charge, we expected much more in terms of portion size, quality, and atmosphere. Sadly, we won’t be going back.

Such a cool venue hidden away in the heart of Subi. Great service and a huge selection of wines. Highly recommend the beef ragu - absolutely delicious!!
