I had a great experience when I went for an eye test to get a second opinion. They took their time, explained everything thoroughly and listened to my concerns. I also received great advice when it came to selecting new glasses, helping me find a pair that really suits the shape of my face.

Was told on the phone that they are dog friendly and that my dog could wait while I had my eye test done. Travelled two hours from Fife to make my appointment and was turned away. 0 Stars wouldn't shop here again if you paid me.

I visited Chetty & Das with an inflamed, very sore eyelid and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, they assessed the issue, recommended treatment, booked a follow-up phone call to check-in and a follow-up appointment in case it was needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them if you’re on the hunt for an optician. 5 stars.

Having been with a big-brand optician for over 20 years, I moved to Chetty and Das last year, and can't recommend them highly enough. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and extremely professional. I am now wearing glasses that actually fit me(!) and lenses that are comfortable and perfect for my needs. They are a busy, family-run practice, and they always go out of their way to be accommodating and flexible. The service is warm, welcoming and, above all, personal.

Hello, I had such a good experience with my new optician that I would love to recommend it to you all. At Chetty & Das Optometrists you feel really well looked after. I had an in depth eye examination followed by giving me two different contact lenses to try for 4 days each until I was totally sure of the ones that felt the best for me. I also needed a new pair of glasses. In there, they really know what glasses suit your face and your personality. Im delighted!

For years I’ve needed prescription sunglasses 🕶 and have had the usual poor options from Specsavers & limited range. I decided to try out my local opticians Chetty & Das and was surprised to meet a fantastic team of dedicated individuals who were able to take the time and source exactly what I want. I was hesitant when discussing cost but again was delighted with the fantastic discounts they were able to negotiate for me on my behalf! I’d highly recommend this opticians and grateful they took the couple of hours to test my eyes again to ensure I was ordering the right solution whilst giving advice for working on computers and looking after my eyes! “5* on tripadvisor” 😇

My first time at Chetty and Das and it was brilliant. As soon as I entered I was greeted by reception, there was snacks available whilst you wait. The optician I saw was Maria and she was lovely, everything was explained in detail and it was very comfortable, friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

A fabulous service from Anita and Nav. My wife and I bought new prescription sunglasses recently and the service was faultless. Chetty and Das put customer service at the heart of their offering. As a customer you feel valued and well looked after. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
