Had an amazing dining experience here. Friendly service. Very hygienic. Delicious food. Every single dish we ordered was divine and freshly made. 100% recommendable! A dessert was given to us on the house - made with coconut milk - not too sweet, but absolutely perfect! Every single staff member made our dining experience so wonderful. Definitely going there again.. and again!

The food wasn’t bad but wasn’t good also I’m have same issues to describe it. Because every restaurant and every chef have his own style but in this one particularly the food was in the dry side and that it’s was makes the difference. They have a very extensive menu with so many Dishes that you can’t find in other Chinese restaurant. Portion are very generous (to share) and price are reasonable. We ordered: potstickers (pork) they are big and 6 in the portion, chicken mu shu very generous for an appetizer ( you need to ask for extra sauce) ,beef chow main a lot of noodles almost no veggies and small portion of beef and honey-walnut prawns good but almost no sauce. We appreciate very much the mango pudding that was on the house, I think was the manager arrived to ours table with the dessert and was an unexpected surprise, very nice touch. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. The service was very good and attentive just a bite difficult to understand for the accent and mask. The ambience looks elegant in comparison to others Chinese restaurants but using inexpensive decors , lighting, table cloth ( I think are disposable) , chairs are confortable also it’s a big restaurant they have a lot of seating. If you like to give a change remember, most of the dish’s are for share unless you have a big appetite or like to take home the leftover.

It’s father’s day and my family wanted to take me to a different dimsum restaurant, so we went to this establishment in Milpitas, about 17 miles from our home. It’s in a shopping center with limited parking spaces due to many businesses. Luckily we found a parking spot. Lots of people were waiting outside but we got to sit right away, may be it’s only 4. The table was quite small, typically for 4. The place is big and I noticed there were no dimsum carts. The service wasn’t very good because one server was running with many tables. Anyhow, we still got our ice water (without ice) and our tea. We had to mark what we wanted on the menu with a pen. After that we gave to our server and he printed out an order stapled to the menu. Now, if you have a lot of time, you may like this place because every dish is trickling to your table every 5-10 minutes. We ate and waited for the next one. So for us it’s a total turn off. The food is not bad although the portions are bigger than our favorite Harbor Bay Village Seafood in Newark, but we still prefer our favorite place. Every dishes are tasty except for the tripes were tasteless. My daughter favorite dish and she only had one bite. I had to finish it because we don’t waste food and it’s not nice to return it. The prices are comparable to other restaurants so nothing to say here. The service and food delivery were subpar. We got 2 of the same dish delivered and one was taken off because of their mistake, all in Chinese so we can’t see which one is which until the all the names on our order was crossed out then we realized our last order was replaced by the duplicates. Will we come back here again? The logic is why would we drive 17 miles to have ok food, ok prices, not ok services while our favorite place is 3 miles from home. The answer is NO although my kids like the bigger portions.

This restaurant was busy during the time I was there. I had to wait for about 10 minutes. The service was not great but ok. I suggestyou should select the food and they will bring them out. They rarely push the cart around. Their price is above average. It was noisy as other Dim Sum restaurants.

Google
Good quality. On par with other Chinese restaurants like Koi Palace or Mayflower but at a cheaper price. Food: I ordered the "Fish w/Spicy Salt" and "Dry Scallop Fried Rice w/ Egg White" and would recommend it to anyone who want to do a quick sample for their quality. I would definitely come back. As of 06/19, if you order in-person and reference the coupon on their paper menu, if you order above $50.00 you can get a free fried rice or chow mein. The wait for me was ~30 min though for a busy holiday night.

Google
It offers a delightful dim sum experience with its old-school cart service. The wait for a table was reasonable (10-15 minutes), and the food was decent. The variety of dim sum dishes was impressive, and the traditional cart service added a nostalgic touch. They have maintained the old school charm with dim sum offerings displayed on carts, skillfully navigated by attentive waitresses. This classic style allowed us to enjoy the thrill of selecting our desired dishes as they passed by, giving us a sense of excitement and anticipation!

Google
The food here is for second tier eaters, and you definitely need to improve your taste of you even like this place. TRY Sifu Wong, it's so much better. The roast duck is good though, but that's basically the only dish that's acceptable in this place. Work harder come on. Shrimp dumplings shouldn't fall apart when first served. Shumai is stiff like a rock.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've dined here but was very impressed by dinner recently. For a Saturday night it was quite packed with most of the large tables taken. Extensive menu as you can see from my 20+ menu pictures. There's definitely something for everyone here! We ordered the following: -dried scallop egg white fried rice - Delicious! You can really taste the "wok hei" in the rice. -spicy eggplant with fish clay pot - There's a generous amount of eggplant and fish in this dish. If you're not a fan of bamboo, you can ask for it to be left out. -chicken chow fun with gravy - This is our go-to dish. It's packed with chicken and vegetables. Again, lot of "wok hei" in the noodles. -crab meat with vermicelli - This was my favorite dish! The noodles had a wonderful flavor, and the crab taste really came through. -bbq trio plate with roast pork, roast duck, and jellyfish - The roast pork was fresh and not dry, decent pieces of roast duck with lots of meat. Jellyfish is always fun to eat. The portion size was quite generous and the service was attentive. I've ordered their salted fish with chicken fried rice several times in the past and that's always good! The party lot is quite large but they do share with with several other businesses and restaurants. It was quite busy the evening we went but were still able to find parking.

Yelp
Have been here quite many times. We don't need luxurious decoration but good service and delicious dishes. They serve authentic Cantonese food and dim sum. Worth recommendations Attached photo is our selection for today.

Yelp
This restaurant is one of our go to spots for friends gathering. Although we have not been here for awhile, service is still friendly. It seems that different Cheung Hing has different rules, my friends said the one in Belmont won't let them use the Family Dinner Set on weekends, but this one in Milpitas does. The menu has 40 dishes to choose from and pick a main dish of whole Peking Duck or Crab. For us party of 9, we ordered 6 dishes including the duck and it came with a pot of soup too. All together we paid $237 for 9 heads and we had a lot of left over, including half a duck! The food is delicious, it's hard for me to call out any dish as my favorite as each of them are all equally good. We had Peking Spareribs, Roasted Pork & Oyster in Clay Pot, Stir-fried Chinese Broccoli, Sizzling Seafood w/Egg Tofu, Chinese Style Beef Fillet, and Two Items Barbecue Combination (cha siu and pork belly). It also came with free red bean dessert soup. We were seated at the corner with the restaurant maybe 1/3 full during Saturday dinner time. The TV was playing some music MTV with no sound. Not a lot of deco but the chairs were covered by some water proof leather covers, maybe for easy cleaning. Toilets are clean and not messy.

Yelp
Office will come have dim sum once in a while. This time just two people and we decided to try something different than dim sum. Ordered Singapore style stir fried rice noodle and 3 item BBQ over rice. BBQ over rice: BBQ items has BBQ pork, roast duck and chicken. Typical Chinese bbq items but the taste is awesome, and fresh Singapore fried rice noodle: Very flavorful, curry powder is not over powering. We did also order chicken feet for dim sum. Just two people is more than enough and we have to pack to go. Food quality stays usual, service is not bad. Venue is as expected.

Yelp
I was hesitant to go here as I only saw 3 stars, but I need to be in the area and I'm always willing to try a xiao long bao from diff restaurants. It actually surprised me, the inside is clean, it looks a little more than casual. Service was good. I enjoyed the food too. I find the xiao long bao wrapper a little sweeter than I prefer, but not too sweet to break the deal... the soup and meat were delicious. The pork intestine was crunchy, an the raddish and carrot salad beneath it was a good palate cleaner.

Yelp
My family celebrated Lunar New Year by having an early dinner here. Beef Short Ribs w/Black Pepper in Clay Pot (3.5/5). It was not served in a clay pot on a sizzling platter. Not a big deal. The sauce on this was good, sauteed with with julienned onions and bell peppers. Some pieces were tender and some were chewier. Peking Spareribs (3.5/5) - the peking sauce had decent flavor. Big pieces of fried pork but it didn't have that nice crispy crunch. Steamed Whole Fish (Black Bass) (4/5) - nice tasting fish. My wife wishes the soy sauce used in this dish was saltier. It was tame but the fish was tender. Braised Tofu w/Mushroom (3.5/5). Fried Tofu with the creamy inside. Mostly baby bok choy and the tofu. I think there was only a couple of straw mushrooms and shitake mushrooms. Standard dish. Pea Sprouts w/garlic (4/5) - usually the large pea sprouts are used, which these are. Sautéed well but had that nice crunch of freshness. Marinated Ranch Chicken (Half) (3.5/5). It was Steamed and similar to how the Steamed Fish was cooked. Overall, a nice family dinner. Oh, luckily, we had reservations at 5:30pm, because it really got crowded afterwards. If you didn't have a reservation, it would be hard to find a table to be seated as a walk-in.

Yelp
Wow, had a nice New Year's Day dinner here! I'm always in the area, but can't believe I've never tried this place until now! The ambiance is table cloth style, with lazy Susan's, and the service is good! The food is tasty, juicy, and great portion sizes! The meat is tender and the fish was fresh! We loved the string beans, but the pork was salty! The Japanese style short ribs are the best! What's best about this place is that the pricing is cheaper than other Chinese restaurants, but the quality of food speaks otherwise! Def coming back here again!

Yelp
Came here for lunch with two friends. This used to be King Wah long time ago. The restaurant is very spacious and quite comfortable. We ordered a West Lake Beef Soup, BBQ Pork Rice Rolls, Fook Kin Fried Rice, and Seafood and Bean Curd Clay Pot. Then we saw a promotion on the table saying that with orders of at least $40, customers can order a Lobster Noodle for $21.99 or Soy Sauce Chicken for $19.99. Do we also got the Soy Sauce Chicken. Food was quite decent, my favorite was actually the Soy Sauce Chicken. The West Lake Beef Soup and Seafood and Bean Curd Clay Pot were also very good. The Fook Kin Fried Rice was my least favorite, didn't have much toppings and flavor. Prices were very good. Service was decent. The only problem was that I could feel the MSG afterwards, a little thirsty.

Yelp
My husband and I arrived Memorial Day around 1:30 in the afternoon and this place was jampacked. We were able to get seated pretty soon. Service was pretty busy, but our food made to the table within 15 minutes or less. The majority was delicious! Below were the dishes as they came out. Roasted Duck (half) 5 out of 5 Well-marinated and skin was cripy. The greasiness was overcome by the plum sauce came along the dish and the portion was huge. Undeniably the best dish of the order. Pea Sprout in Broth 4 out of 5 Tender pea sprout leaves with some mushrooms. A good one after roasted duck to clear out palette a bit. Foo Kin Fried Rice 4.5 out of 5 This was not a well-known fried rice, but I would like to have both the usual firey fried rice texture as well as the mushy and half liquid sauce texture. The one offered by Cheung Hing did not disappoint. If I have not had tasted a better version of this, I would give it full score. Braised Beef Entrails 1 out of 5 I would give this dish 0 if I could. It's like some overnight dish reheated and was blunt with no taste. I could only sense the offal smell that was supposed to be removed during food processing. The server was able to refund this for us. Mango Pudding 3 out of 5 Just average level of most Cantonese restaurant, a light desert to wrap up lunch. Overall service 3.5 out of 5 We got wrong dish served, but we quickly pointed it out. We were offered refund for the Braised Beef Entrails. Whenever we reached out for something regardless if it's our server or not, we were taken care of. Would love to try more dim sum dishes next time.

Yelp
Classic old school Chinese restaurant. This makes me think of childhood. My parents like coming here with their friends and I can see why. There's a whole section dedicated to frog so you know it's real. A lot of seafood seems popular here as well. At the end of your meal, they do provide a complimentary dessert. We got red bean soup. Parking: There's plenty, just work your way through the awkwardly shaped lot. Customer service: Quick and attentive. - Sweet and sour pork - 5/5. Every table had it so I had to get it. - Fried tofu - 5/5. Not a soggy tofu cube in sight. Fried tofu and garnished with chili pepper flakes. - #192 Salted fish fried rice - 5/5. Always a good order. I'd recommend. - - Peking Duck - 5/5 - Roasted pork - 5/5 - Roasted green beans - 5/5. This is not vegetarian, served with meat. - Lo mein with roasted duck - 1/5 It was good, but I'd pass on it. It's served with bok choy, roasted duck on a separate dish, and a separate broth. I thought it'd be a proper east coast style Chinese food, but it's not. - Fried salt and pepper fish - 2/5. It's good but I'd skip it here. Order it at Jade China instead. - Clams 5/5

Yelp
We haven't been back to this place for a while. We came on a Wednesday night for dinner. It wasn't busy, only a few tables were occupied around 5:30pm. I was surprised prices on their menu did not change since my last visit... that was probably 8-9 months ago. We ordered one of the dine in specials, which was either free range soy sauce chicken for $18.99 or one crab for $20.99. I was impressed with the chicken. It was over cooked, it was the flavor that I like which is the classic soy sauce flavor with a hint of sweetness to it. Many other places killed the dish by over cooking the chicken... this place has it down! It was fine perfectly, one of my favorite dish for the night. I was also surprised with the sweet and sour pork chops, which was another great choice for the night. It was not heavily breaded, actually, no breading at all. They selected quality meat for this dish. It had a good amount of lean meat instead of mostly fat parts like many other places. It's on the sweeter side like less tangy, which is what I preferred. Service was actually decent. Services were attentive. I don't normally mention service in most of the Asian restaurants because my bar is very low for them. If I don't expect too much service, then I won't be disappointed. Hahahaha I also like this place because it pretty spacious in the evening. Since they are not that busy at night, they tend to spread out table for dinner.

Yelp
My family came here at 11:30 on a Saturday and we were seated immediately. However upon leaving, there were people waiting outside. Pretty standard dimsum, nothing extraordinary but glad to have a spot so close to home. My favorite dishes were the fried tofu, salted fish fried rice, Chinese broccoli, and the pan fried chive and shrimp dumplings. Reasonable prices, okay food.
google avatar

Yelp
Classic Cantonese cooking done exceptionally well - excellent portion sizes, and flavors you would completely expect in true Guangdong fashion. Very reasonable prices to add. Docking a star for service but if you are proactive with flagging down the servers you can get what you need.

Yelp
I was searching for some wonton noodle soup as we were needing something warm on this kind of cold-ish day. I was looking at the menus at Cheung Hing and was kind of confused at what was current. So I decided just to go to the place and order in person versus calling in to order. In short, I lucked out as it was the tail end of lunch so I didn't have to wait long. The wontons were so pork and shrimp forward in flavor and the potstickers chunkily satisfying. I'm looking forward to trying out other items on their menu one day. L O C A T I O N Cheung Hing is located in Victorian Square. The parking is shared with all the other stores and restaurants so I can imagine it being really hard to find parking during peak eating times. I came closer to 1:30-ish so it was easier to find parking. I N S I D E It's quite large and spacious inside. Definitely looked like a dim sum place which they do serve. M E N U So the menus....yes plural. There's a menu for dim sum. There's a menu for regular restaurant items. There's a menu for set items and lastly one for party trays. I ordered from the regular restaurant menu. We had come here prior to this visit of mine to get the Beef Tendon Brisket Rice Roll Clay Pot. All I remember about that dish was that it was super chewy and salty. So not really the best introduction to this place. This time around I got the wonton noodle soup and potstickers because I needed to order over $20 to use my credit card. The wontons in the noodle soup were great. So much flavor, but it does have this fattiness that can be offputting to others. The noodles were a thin egg noodle and it also came with bok choy. The potstickers were fatty. Like CHONKY. It had a nice ginger flavor to it and just satisfying because it was just so meaty! S E R V I C E I ordered at the front and paid. They told me to sit down to wait. Eventually another server came to ask what I was waiting for so glad I kept the receipt. My order did come out in roughly 15 minutes. Reminder that yes, you do need to over over $20 to do credit card payment. O V E R A L L The first visit was not great. But this time round, I'd totally would come back for their wontons and potstickers. I'm curious to see how their chow fun would be like. So that may be the next thing we order next time. I would come back and try more items, but since it seems like a hit or miss, I'll stick to 3 stars, but will update this in the future. Definitely try them out!

Yelp
Cheung Hing in Milpitas is a great spot for dim sum! The food is incredibly filling and delicious. Although it's on the pricier side, it's a great place for treating your parents or celebrating a special occasion. Parking can be a bit of a hassle since the lines aren't clearly marked, but it's manageable. The service was impressively quick, and the staff usually brings out all the dishes at once, which is great if you're hungry and ready to dig in. The vibe was pretty nice, very fast paced so it felt like we got in and out quick but that's the life at dim sum places One of my favorites was the seafood noodle - super crunchy and packed with flavor, I could eat it all day! If you're in the area and craving some high-quality dim sum, Cheung Hing is definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
I was so excited for Dim Sum and I was so disappointed with what I got. Service was good. The salt and pepper squid had great breading, great toppings, and came out very cold. Total turn off. The spinach and shrimp dumplings were very dense. The black mushroom dumplings were also exceptionally dense and you couldn't taste the mushroom (no umami here), and the pork dumplings were under seasoned and steamed in little aluminum pans (when you tried to remove them the dough ripped and all of the juices drained out). Disappointing overall.

Michelle L.

Yelp
Good Cantonese style cooking. The price is very reasonable. Considering inflation right now, it is a good restaurant to go.

Yelp
Nice dim sum restaurant and also serve fresh dumplings. Sunday is always busy but it is worth to wait.

Yelp
On Easter Sunday my family and I decided that we wanted to get dim sum for post church lunch. Since Koi Palace was a 2 hour wait, we headed over here as a back up. I will say that their food isn't half bad, but their service... oh man. Upon our arrival, this place was set up as a banquet hall, it was pretty packed as every seat was taken, but there was no wait at all. We were seated all the way in the back at a large table that held a family of 8. I felt that because we were seated in the back we barely had interaction with our server. There were male servers that took care of bills, and women servers that sent out food. Almost none of the women servers except for 1 could understand English - so this made it difficult for us to just order water or an extra cup/bowl. Of course, not their fault, just thought that the male servers could've made their rounds more often to check in on us. As a family we had ordered a plethora of items so I will only focus on the important ones. 1. Crispy Roasted Pork was served semi-cold. I think they left this out for far too long before they decided to serve it. 2. Siu Mai tasted GREAT, but would have been better if it was one of the first ones served. All of us were too full to even touch it. 3. Walnut Prawns looked like an appetizer. What are the doing only presenting the shrimp on half of the plate? Their Walnut Prawns are almost at $15 and only came with 8 pieces or so (that's enough for 1 person at the table). I'm sorry, but I laughed a little when it came out. Everything else tasted fantastic. I think they just need to reconsider their portions for some entrees as well as when to cook/bring out items. Siu Mai was one of the first items we ordered too. Their customer service could also use some work, just checking in or making thorough rounds through the room would suffice.

Yelp
Ordered a few dim sum items and items on menu. The dumplings were good and also ordered the clay pot, chow mein and spare ribs. All were good. I'd give it a 3.5.

Yelp
This place is super UNDERRATED. Taste The tofu with sweet meat was my favorite and was also the deconstructed duck /pork bun with hoisin sauce. The fried rice, soup, and other meat and veggie dishes were pretty standard. Ambiance They must have the nicest and most fancy lazy Susan I've ever seen and chandelier decor to match with nice golden satin wrapped seats. Service They provide hot tea and water as most Chinese restaurants do. Great for family style dinners and generous portion sizes, we still managed to finish almost everything though! We did have leftovers and a party of over 10. I would come here again and hope folks give it a more fair review.

Yelp
The food at Cheung Hing was decent and of similar quality to other dim sum restaurants. Prices here are slightly lower. What I want to share is my experience with their service. The service is where it's mostly lacking. They are understaffed. My family arrived around 11:45 AM on a Thursday and the place was less than 20% filled. My group along with two other groups waited to be seated for over 5 minutes with no one attending to us. Instead, we sat ourselves. Getting in our order was fine. By this time, the whole place filled up, loud and lively. However, the lady who delivered our dishes to our table was angry the entire time. My take was that she was overworked and she's just frustrated. But at least set the dishes on the table gently. She dropped the plates as she power-walked over. She grumbled loudly when we asked her to use her scissors to cut some of our items. We asked 3 times and we received 3 grumbles. I, unfortunately, did not take photos of the food, I only took photos of the item receipt. By the time we finished eating and requested our check, it took over 10 minutes to get. Again, understaffed. If I ever come here, I'll do takeout only.

Yelp
My family and I frequent this dim sum place and I think it is pretty good (not the best, but decent!). I'll share what I recommend down below! Highlights: * Egg Tart: One of the best egg tarts I've had. The crust is super flaky/crunchy and tastes pretty different from most egg tarts I've had - but in a good way! * Cha Siu Baos: Love the flaky top, the bread is soft, and the cha siu is flavorful! * Honey Walnut Prawns: Fried to perfection, has a nice crunch! * Shrimp Stuffed Eggplant: Love this one!!! Super flavorful and delicious. * Deep Fried Shrimp Balls: With the red sauce, this dish is perfection. One of my faves! Do Not Recommend: * Steamed Egg Cake: Not tasty and a bit dry. I would definitely eat here again with family, but if I'm being honest, I wouldn't rave about this place to my friends. Still delicious dim sum regardless!

Yelp
Pretty decent dim sum. All had good authentic flavors and the portions were good. There were some dishes that had a good twist to them. These are the ones that surprised and stood out to me: Chow Fun with preserved veggies: The veggies had a really nice tang to it that contrasted really well with rest of the savory dish. It's 'wet' style and had a good ratio of ingredients. Char Siu Boroh Bao: I forgot what it was called but its basically a pineapple bun stuffed with traditional char siu bao filling. Had amazing crust and the filling had a lot of meat. Really good. Taro Puff with Taro Paste: Kids liked this one. Similar crust to a traditional pineapple bun filled with taro paste. They just do the crust really well. Overall it was good dim sum with some standouts for us.

Yelp
All the time dim sum restaurants for anytime. Food, Chicken feet, congee with black egg & pork, shrimp dumplings, jelly fish, chicken fried rice, & seafood platter. The food is decent and the menu has a lot of options for dim sum. They're hot and came out okay. Fried rice, was really salty for my tasting and needed white pepper for it to be tame. Service, I think service is okay. They asked if we wanted a fork for fried rice. Didn't really understand stood it. They don't really want help with take out. They are quick in serving the food. They are also really fast getting the check. I say, it's more traditional Chinese with aunties and uncles around the time. 2-3pm. Also, my table was missing white pepper. Ambiance, It was really quiet. 2-3pm. They have a lot of TV's, around, but none of them were on. There is also no music. It felt like a chill place to eat or take out. To me, it's not a good time to really see if it's lively or not, since it was an awkward time and when we left, the restaurant was empty. Though, it didn't feel it had any ambiance. I would recommend, except in take-out. I would not sit-dine in.

Yelp
Decent food for the price - not the best I've had, but also the prices are cheaper than some other dim sum places. They've got some good dishes like an oxtail stone pot dish, but I'd say it's one of those places where you try everything that seems interesting and curate a list of dishes that are good vs not good. Easy to park as it's a strip mall with a parking lot, also not too busy the time I was there.

Yelp
Cheung Hing is a very solid spot if you are craving authentic Chinese banquet-style food. The interior is not as grandiose as HL Peninsula, but instead much more cozy with great service. The aunties and uncles are always so sweet! Of course they try to upsell you on their more expensive dishes, but I can vouch that the live steamed fish is worth it (typically $20+ per pound). I'd also recommend the Peking or Roasted Duck. They don't skimp and give you pretty meaty pieces, even if you only order half a duck. Definitely come with more people so you're able to try more dishes. Parking spaces are tight in this plaza, so just be careful. If you're in the area and craving this type of cuisine, with typically not much of a wait, give Cheung Hing a try!

Yelp
It's father's day and my family wanted to take me to a different dimsum restaurant, so we went to this establishment in Milpitas, about 17 miles from our home. It's in a shopping center with limited parking spaces due to many businesses. Luckily we found a parking spot. Lots of people were waiting outside but we got to sit right away, may be it's only 4. The table was quite small, typically for 4. The place is big and I noticed there were no dimsum carts. The service wasn't very good because one server was running with many tables. So for us it's a total turn off. The food is not bad although the portions are bigger than our favorite Harbor Bay Village Seafood in Newark, but we still prefer our favorite place. Every dishes are tasty except for the tripes were tasteless. My daughter favorite dish and she only had one bite. I had to finish it because we don't waste food and it's not nice to return it. The prices are comparable to other restaurants so nothing to say here. The service and food delivery were subpar. We got 2 of the same dish delivered and one was taken off because of their mistake, all in Chinese so we can't see which one is which until the all the names on our order was crossed out then we realized our last order was replaced by the duplicates. Will we come back here again? The logic is why would we drive 17 miles to have ok food, ok prices, not ok services while our favorite place is 3 miles from home. The answer is NO although my kids like the bigger portions.

Yelp
Very friendly and accommodating. Been here a few times for Dim Sum Lunch and each time was a pleasant experience. Delish Dim Sum Parking can be challenging during the peak lunch hour Definitely a great Dim Sum place for us

Yelp
Came here for Dim Sum lunch and got more than we bargained. In addition to Dim Sum, we tried their soup of the day (double boiled chicken with young coconut) and their lobster; both wonderful for way overkill for lunch. Dim Sum selection are on par with the rest of the high end Koi's Palace and Mayflower. On a Monday lunch rush, place was almost packed. You don't see that many wait staff, but the ones that work there are attentive to your needs. As typical with other Dim Sum place, expect a a lively lunch folks talking and laughing to remind you of the good old times. The chairs and tables are dated, and the carpet can use a good deep cleaning.

Yelp
Came here one other time prior to our visit today. At that time the chef seemed to be extremely new and the dishes presented before us were either hit or missed. Issues had to do with the chef being heavy handed with the salt. Not only did our meal have issues but the neighboring table as well. With my daughter requesting for fried rice , I decided to give Cheung Hong another go in hopes of there being improvements. As usual, we were seated immediately but getting noticed did take some time. Not sure if the restaurant was short staffed but it just seemed like the employees were more focused on diners already seated... Dinner: * Stir Fried Beef Fillet with Assorted Mushroom * Mongolian Beef * Combination Fried Rice * Peking Duck [half order] The beef fillet with assorted mushrooms is a hit. Rarely does my daughter eat meat but she handled this plate pretty well. The sauce was delicious and because my fam of 3 are huge mushroom lovers, this dish was an absolute HOME RUN! The combination fried rice was good, a bit bland but very manageable with the other dishes. Peking duck was delicious! Spices and flavorings used were very balanced, meat was juicy, and the skin was perfectly cut thin and crisp! As a forewarning, the Peking duck takes a long long time to prepare. We were more than half way done with our other dishes before the duck plate finally made its way out. On top of that, the pieces were very fatty which may bother some folks. Lastly, the Mongolian beef was more of a letdown for the 2nd time. I didn't think it was so bad but the salt level on it could have been tamed. 4 out of 5 stars. I'd highly recommend the Peking duck, this is actually one of the more enjoyable variations I have tried. Again, it takes a bit of time but I'd say it's worth the wait. The restaurant is obviously still working out some kinks and the kitchen staff needs work on properly seasoning. For us the dish was salty, another table complained of food being so very bland... Either way, this place has serious potential. I'd come back again and I know my picky little munchkin wouldn't object.

Yelp
Food: For two of us, we have ordered 6 Dim Sum(DS) dishes. The price of their Medium DS dish is $6.98, and $7.98 for Large dishes. 1. Baked BBQ Port Turnoaver (M) Tasted good. 2. Chicken Claw Black Bean Sause (M) Good quantity, good quality, tasted good 3. Deep Fried Taro Dumpling (M) The crunchy crust was absent. The crust was hard. (Can not tell if it was not pre-made frozen goods) 4. Steamed Beef Ball (M) Tasted good. 5. Steamed Egg Custard Bun (L) The custard was not melted. (This item looks like from pre-made frozen goods) 6. Steamed Spinach Shrimp Dumpling (L) There were little shrimp in the dumping. Both the spinach and shrimp were dry. This item was from pre-made frozen goods. Tasted disappointing. Overall, most food tasted like from defrosted food. The place can use some clean up. Service was ok. No service fee was pre-charged on the bill. The lowest tip to choose from was 15%. We probably will not go back again.

Yelp
Cheung Hung is one of my family's favorite Chinese restaurants for all of our birthday dinners for years. They serve traditional Cantonese dishes family style for large parties. Service is excellent and quick. They have multiple large tables that can sit up 8-9 each. They also have a selection of set menus that you can order from to make it easier to order for large parties. It usually comes with appetizer, soups and couple of delicious entrees. In my opinion, they have THE BEST honey walnut shrimp.

Yelp
The restaurant is located in a parking lot next to the Main Street . Easy access and lots of parking . Very good customer service and attentive . Their dim sum menu has all the varieties plus some rare and classic items : steamed fish mew with chicken roll ( or so called cotton chicken ) ,baked salty egg yolk bun , Peking duck with wrappers . Their restroom maintenance is unacceptable , lack of supply of toilet paper and the floor is not clean . That take out my appetite when I used it . I hope they can improve as soon as possible!

Yelp
Been a big fan of Cheung Hing's other locations in San Mateo and Millbrae, so I was really excited to hear they had opened down in the South Bay area. This restaurant is larger than their other two locations. They serve dim sum over the weekend and while I was there in the early afternoon, they were still pretty busy. The guy taking my order was really nice and patient as I browsed through their menu and asked questions. I ended up ordering over 6 different dishes, including their bbq meat plate with roasted pork, duck, and char sui, fried pork spare ribs, pea sprouts with garlic, soy sauce noodles, and a couple dim sum dishes since it was the weekend. They threw in a free fried rice which was really nice and perfect to eat with leftovers. My order took about 15 minutes and everything was packed neatly to take home. Their portion sizes were even bigger than what I was expecting. I am still blown away by their consistency as they are the only place I will go to for all my Cantonese bbq cravings. I will be back time and time again- their quality, portion sizes, and prices are all unbeatable.

Yelp
Pros: portion size, lots of seating, authentic taste Cons: no customer service, dim sum not properly wrapped Your average dim sum place that also serves dinner plates all day. The dim sum literally fell apart because they weren't properly wrapped, but they were generous on the filling. If you're not in the mood for dim sum they also serve large dinner rice plates all day-- you can get duck + another protein for $16! But like a lot of Chinese restaurants, the service is non existent. No one to refill drinks, tea, or take any dishes out of the way. In fact the only time someone came by our table was to ask us if we wanted to add a dish because the table next to us didn't want it anymore... how strange. Better dim sum options out there but I might come back for the dinner plates just from portion size alone.

Yelp
This is one of the most affordable Dim Sum places in the Bay Area. The restaurant is spacious but still fully occupied during Sunday lunch. You can order from the mobile carts or from the menu. Food service is fast. We got siew mai (not in pics), shrimp dumpling, chicken feet, and deep fried shrimp ball. Honestly food quality is great given the price. I like the deep fried shrimp balls in particular - they are crispy outside and juicy in the inside. You can eat it by itself or deep it in their sweet sauce. Overall great experience and will definitely come back to satisfy my dim sum cravings in the future!

Yelp
I haven't found a particularly good dim sum place in the South Bay. Most of the dim sum restaurants in Silicon Valley leave me disappointed when it comes to taste and quality. Hate having to drive to S.F. for good dim sum. The one that's half decent in the South Bay is Dynasty, located on Story Road in East San Jose but the distance is inconvenient for me during the work week. Cheung Hing is close by, along with HL Peninsula, Mayflower, Koi Palace, and Golden Sun Palace as the handful of known dim sum restaurants in Milpitas. This one is nothing to write home about but it's conveniently close and serves an array of the dim sum that I would expect. The service is standard. Can get really busy on the weekend. If you don't eat a lot of dim sum, you won't be able to tell the difference and they will all taste the same from one restaurant to the next, but if you've eaten dim sum in well over a hundred places all over the Bay Area, you'll easily be able to tell if you encounter really good dim sum.

Yelp
Some items were great , some items were average. I can tell by the aroma they cook the items a little longer than other places.

Yelp
My favor Dimsum place in South Bay. Don't need to wait a long time even on weekends. Good service and good food.Nice environments not as noisy as Koi places or pearl bay. Price is very competitive. Fried fish here is the best. BBQ duck is yummie. Fried rice chow fen is also great. So many good food. Been here every other week.

Yelp
Went here to try the dim sum even with the low 3 star ratings, which side note is odd 3 stars means average. This location has been a Chinese restaurant and my go to dim sum spot so I had to go give it a try to see if it was just a name change. I didn't get to see all of the staff i'm used to here but I did see a few. The dishes were similar to before, still love the har gouw, big ole dumplings with shrimp inside. The best word I can use is so bouncy and I loved it. Had way more dishes than I should have but very enjoyable and i'll be back.

Yelp
Spent dim sum lunch here with the family to celebrate Lunar New Year and I thought the food was good with all the essentials such as Har Gow, Xíu Mai, Sticky Rice wrapped in Lotus Leaf as examples. There seems to be a need for more help because we felt we were constantly flagging employees down to clear empty plates and waiting for a couple items we ordered to come out and asking them when they would arrive such as the Fried Shrimp Balls. I'd give them another visit though on a less bust day.

Yelp
For our 1 night in Milpitas before flying out in AM from San Jose Airport to Honolulu, we needed some dinner and I found this real deal Chinese restaurant. I had been here many moons ago. We decided on a bbq dinner but they were out of some bbq items which was a big bummer. We got roast duck, crispy pork and Hai Nanal Chix combo which was pricey. Around $40. Also added a hot and sour soup for like $12. Meal was good but would avoid bbq and get regular Chinese plates next time.

Yelp
New Years Day dim sum was great. They walked around with carts this time and they had all the available options to order. I actually missed quite a few photos because the food was so good. The size of the dim sum are also bigger than most. The gailan veggies were so fresh and the seafood so tasty. I love this place for dim sum. The Chinese food is a separate story.

Yelp
I came here to pick up a duck. The man I ordered from told me it would take 30 minutes. Long wait but ok. I came back 30 min later, and gave my receipt to a waiter who searched for my food, but was interrupted with incoming food orders. Every time he finished a call, another one would come in. He would prioritize all incoming calls instead of getting my food. This caused me to wait an additional 15 minutes on top of my 30 minutes I already waited. I finally had to just go behind the counter and point to my order, in which he finally gave it to me. No apology for making all the other customers waiting for their food. On top of that, if someone came in to dine, he would put his call on hold to seat them. I suppose he already received my money, so I was on the bottom of his priority list. When I finally got home with the duck, it was tiny, sloppily chopped and looked like the whole duck was not in the box. I AM NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN! Stay away. I would give negative stars if I could.

Yelp
Seated right away. Choice of dim sum varied. Service is good. On duty managers attend to your question's.
