We had a fantastic experience working with Lawrencia Yankey! She was so helpful and thoughtful throughout the process. We like this apartment community, but are still trying to figure out which unit and she continues to reach out to ensure that we find the best fit for our parents who are moving here from out of town. I had the absolute BEST apartment tour experience at The Barrett, and it was all thanks to Gabby! 🌟 The property truly speaks for itself, beautiful, well-maintained, and full of stunning features, but what really made the difference was Gabby. From the moment I walked in, her warm personality, outstanding customer service, and genuine helpfulness set the tone for an unforgettable visit. She was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and thorough, answering all of my questions and making me feel completely at ease. Her professionalism and passion for what she does are unmatched. Honestly, I’ve been on quite a few tours, but this one blew them all out of the water. Hands down the best I’ve experienced. Gabby is truly one of a kind and deserves all the recognition. If you’re thinking of checking out The Barrett, do yourself a favor and ask for Gabby.

Chevy Chase Lake Terrace offers all the hallmarks of refined living—sleek finishes, generous light, and great amenities. It checks every box from fitness to leisure. But what sets this place apart isn’t the impeccably curated interiors. It’s the people. Gabby and Madonna, the heart of the front desk, bring the kind of grace and warmth you can’t manufacture. They make a polished property feel like a lived-in home. Everyone from the leasing team to the cleaning crew is amazing. The maintenance team, too, elevates the experience—showing up promptly for even the most minor tasks (like changing bulbs high above reach) with a quiet efficiency that speaks volumes. Castillo and Anthony, in particular, bring professionalism and personality—always respectful, reliably skilled, and funny. You don’t move into a residence for the staff—but if you’re lucky, it’s the staff who make you stay.

The website said it was 2300 per month, and the actual rent is 2850 per month, such wasting time. Staff is really nice. It’s just the monthly $500 extra amenity charge is crazy. Never heard about charge like that.

There is an older woman walking around hand writing 38 dollar parking tickets when you run in to cvs or you run in to get your food from playa bowl, (or to support any of the local businesses). Instead of just posting proper instruction to a garage that is easy to navigate, they write tickets. This is worse than downtown Bethesda. This will definitely deter people from supporting the businesses on the property. It's a complete turn off. And the woman writing tickets is nasty. I will shop and dine elsewhere.

Chevy Chase Lake is amazing. The floor plans were great, the apartments were more spacious than I thought, and I love that the garage gives access to the shops and the building. I was helped by one of your agents Leah, who basically answered all of our questions and made us feel like this was a place we could call home someday.

I just moved in yesterday and from the beginning to the end of my entire moving process Leah and the entire team have truly been beyond amazing! They are very professional and caring. It’s worth taking the time to rave about my experience. So glad to call the wonderful apartment my home and highly recommend it. Feeling like I will be here for a very long time. 😁
