We dined quite early at 19:30, which may explain the disappointing experience. While the menu offered traditional French dishes, the execution fell short of the standards I’ve come to expect in France.
I ordered the chicken supreme, which was unfortunately dry, served with overcooked macaroni—some pieces were even dried solid. The sauce appeared to have split, and it gave the impression of having been prepared in advance and reheated.
My companion's veal was extremely tough—more like shoe leather than a quality cut of meat.
Overall, a letdown, especially given the rich culinary traditions of the region.
