Chez Flo

"Guests are greeted with a smile in this friendly eatery… The same sunny disposition depicts the food, which is in the competent hands of an enthusiastic young chef. Uplifting, modern bistro fare composed with ingredients from carefully selected local producers in a menu that changes monthly. Deliciously eater-friendly priced lunchtime menu. Something of a regional benchmark." - Michelin Inspector

Our first cappuccino on the nice terras was as good as you'd expect it to be and better. The lunch was incredibly delicious. And finally the dessert was a perfect combination, full of taste.

Very slow service. We were there for over two hours.😴 Staff indifferent to requests. Water bottle taken away and not replaced; we had to ask.....twice!! This time my steak was nice, but on previous visit it was so tough that I could not cut or eat it. Other main dishes had veg.... courgettes & broccoli. All I had was potatoes and onions, no veg.., which I would have appreciated. Sadly overpriced for the quality of food and service.

Stopped in here for a lunch with a group of friends in June 2012. What a great place. The food was amazing, the chef and the team were very friendly, and what great value for money. Every day they have a set lunch menu which turned out to be 3 courses with wine for under 12 euros each. We thought this place was awesome, and will return this June when we make another trip to France.

Flo has been so kind to fix 2 vegan meals for us with very short notice. The setting is lovely, the staff friendly despite being really busy. Our lunch was amazing, very creative with local fresh ingredients. A great experience.

Family (2 adults + girls 15 & 16) holiday last week in June, we ate twice at lunchtime on a packed terrasse. We all chose the very popular formule, excellent value, delicious and beautifully presented. Wine at 2 euros a glass with this menu was very good and the warm bread yum! Although we all enjoy trying most things on a set menu we were also very pleasantly surpised that there was an equally appealing alternative starter and main when asked.

. Don't be put off by its scruffy exterior . . . Just opposite the sturdy parish church - there's a bit of parking outside the church, and a bigger carpark just round the back - this doesn't look like much from outside. In fact you might even walk or drive past it, as its main sign says not "Chez Flo" but "Hotel-Bar du Centre". But that's it. And you might find it hard to get in on a weekend in the tourist season. There must be a reason for it always being packed! If you come to the Sunday market - summer months only - the easiest thing is to pop in there and then and book for that evening as it's just by the market square. The food is varied, mainly regional of course, but that's what you come for. But although it's regional ingredients, it is not regional or rustic in its presentation, which is excellent, mouth-watering, beautiful. The look of the food matches the taste - whenever we go, we enjoy everything. But the desserts in particular - sometimes an afterthought in some French restaurants - are to die for. I say no more. You will love it - and so will your wallet. .

Excellent restaurant but you have to book and arrive early. Can be cheaper if you stick to the plat du jour. Really good food.
