My lovely wife Pat and I always enjoy our meals at this family restaurant. Previously we've either eaten outside at one of their picnic tables or just taken our meal to go. With time to spare, this time we dined inside. Very spacious inside with lovely views. We dined during a pleasantly mild fall day. Just a little too cool to eat outside. I enjoyed looking at the many beautiful paintings on their walls. Receiving our meal, I was surprised at the amount of fries in a single order (Pat and I always share). Size of fish portions was perfect. Love how flaky and pure white each piece was. I devoured my meal all while enjoying the beauty surrounding this lovely restaurant. We always enjoy our stop here and highly recommend it to any seafood lover.

It's a cute little take out restaurant, outside of Shediac ,NB. The food was phenomenal! The portion size could have been bigger, for the amount you pay. They have decent parking, and a little area with picnic tables. Overall , a good experience. I recommend the fried clams, and the scallops!

The fried clams, lobster rolls and chicken fingers were quite good. But the hamburger was a disaster. They also need to clean the tables and floors more often. It's still worth a stop on the way to the Acadian peninsula. Prices are reasonable and portions large.

Chez Leo’s Seafood Restaurant in Shediac, New Brunswick, the lobster capital of the world, is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys fresh seafood. We ordered the Seafood Fruits de Mer platter on the recommendation of our server, Renelle, and it was outstanding. The sampler included scallops, big shrimp, fried clams, and fried haddock, all cooked to perfection. The fries were hot and crisp, and the coleslaw was fresh and flavourful. It was a generous plate and excellent value for the quality. We chose to sit on the patio, which gave us a wonderful view of the water and the single-lane bridge. Watching the bridge traffic while enjoying fresh seafood created a relaxed and memorable atmosphere that added to the experience. The service at Chez Leo’s was exceptional. Renelle was friendly, attentive, and professional. Her suggestion of the Seafood Fruits de Mer was exactly right, and she also shared her own favourite dish, the poutine, which gave the visit a personal touch. She made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout the meal. Chez Leo’s combines delicious food, great service, and a location that is easy to recommend. In a town known as the lobster capital of the world, this restaurant stands out for more than lobster. The seafood was fresh, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. If you are visiting Shediac or passing through New Brunswick, Chez Leo’s Seafood Restaurant should be at the top of your dining list. Five stars without hesitation.

I saw a lot of really good reviews but was a little disappointed. The lobster roll was really good and fairly priced, and the clams and scallops were pretty standard. The fish and chips were not the best though, the breading was pretty bland and the texture left a lot to be desired. The service was really good but the wait time was around 40 minutes. If I just had the lobster roll and clams I would probably rate this a 4, but the fish and chips bring down the average.

Best fried clams we had to come back the next day for more! We got the seafood platter. That was good but the star of the show was the fried clams and fries platter. My son loved the fresh cooked fish and my wife really enjoyed the fried scallops in addition to the clams. Great family run resto. See you guys next time we drive through!

We were craving for more lobster rolls and found it in the town of Shediac that also features the Giant Lobster! The lobster roll here featured relatively fresh lobster stuffed into a small toasted bun. At $14.75 before fries, it’s a great deal nowadays. We also followed the local’s advice and ordered the fried clams and fried scallops as well. The clams were fluffy and crisp, and the fried scallop was plump & fresh. They’re actually known for their award winning clams and that’s no surprise to me. We also had their kids meal under $5. The owner here seemed quite friendly chatting with regular customers and even waiving as we left the establishment. It’s neat that this town is bilingual mostly French and we noticed the proud Acadian flag inside.

The food is blend and the portion small for 40$ let’s be real. Supporting Canadian is good, but getting ripped isn’t my favourite sport. Add some damn spices.
