Trying out a new coffee shop to get out of the office on a beautiful work day. And I literally put this place on the map (I had to add it to check-in spots on Facebook 😁). I highly recommend it. Great coffee with sugar and fat free flavor options for a very reasonable price and friendly, quick service. And the location is very convenient and the decor is beautiful.

Google
This cafe is the perfect place for an afternoon study break. Quiet and amazing service! The coffee is fantastic, the lavender latte is one of the best I’ve ever had! Definitely a hidden gem😊

Jo Veren

Google
quality coffee at a great price, served by friendly staff, with an additional nice selection of bites to eat, both savoury and sweet!

It’s always nice to enter an establishment and be greeted by your first name and with a genuine smile. That’s how it is at Chez Lily when Kai and Ayanna are working in the mornings. They’re professional, friendly and are great at making the food taste delicious. Along with a hot cup of Vigilante coffee, my go to food item is the toasted everything bagel with eggs, avocado and topped with spinach. It’s delicious and nutrient dense. Anyone looking to enjoy themselves at a quaint cafe with friendly staff and delicious items on the menu, should stop by Chez Lily in downtown DC soon.

Google
LOVE this cafe! I dined in at this spot while visiting the area and tried the GF banana bread and an oat milk latte. The banana bread was delicious and the latte was exactly what I was looking for (tbh I am kind of a coffee snob). The service was excellent as well. The cafe has great vibes, clean and good music. Highly recommend ✨

Google
The food was amazing!! I got a mozzarella, pesto, and tomato sandwich and it was AMAZING! The blueberry muffin was also really good! The music and environment was so nice. I would highly recommend! May be a tad hard to find on maps but it’s right next to tropical smoothie and orange theory.

I love to come to Chez Lilly! The iced lattes are so good and a great price for a big one! They also take dogs which is so nice. Diego is the BEST barista, so nice and always remembers me when i come in. He makes the best iced latte

Google
Anyone in the area should absolutely stop by Chez Lily for a local coffee spot with amazing service and delicious seasonal drinks. I’ve enjoyed the Maple Spice latte in the Fall and currently loving the Pistachio Rose latte in Summer. The staff is so kind and remembers their regular customers which always puts a smile on my face. Shoutout Diego who always asks and confirms my order to make sure he’s getting it right :)

Yelp
It's pet friendly! So I mean, right away it gets 10/10! lol Also, we got the chocolate eclairs that tasted spoiled and when we told them about it (I think it was the owner who we talked to), she was soooo nice about it. She offered a refund to which we said no so she offered banana bread. Overall cute nice cafe!

Yelp
Ordered Uber eats from this cafe as they're running a one for one special - Pepperoni flatbread, Tuna salad sandwich, and Bagel (plus a side like a snack or a fruit). The Tuna sandwich is really good and we ate the flatbreads for both lunch and dinner for the day, saving us from the hassle of cooking.

Yelp
I stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon when I was in the area. It's a pretty small place and very well decorated with lots of plants. I got a small iced vanilla latte and I was worried it would be too sweet, but it turned out to be perfect. The prices are also great compared to other places in the area. I paid $5.90 for a small and there were breakfast sandwiches for $6.50 that I would come back to try! Would definitely recommend!
google avatar

P. M.

Yelp
Good morning neighbors:) Excellent @MVTCID neighbors dropped off THE best smelling coffee & danish. "It's All Here"

Sam M.

Yelp
food is average and avocado toast was quite frankly unacceptable for the price of $6.50 this was beyond a disappointment.

Yelp
I really enjoy Chez Lily! Welcoming ambiance, quiet, and delicious food and beverages. Love their seasonal drink offerings and breakfast sandwich!

Yelp
Such a cute spot! The staff is incredibly nice and the food super tasty. First visit we ordered coffee, two breakfast sandwiches (one we replaced with the halloumi cheese because I am obsessed), as well as crumb cake. Now don't be turned off by the pastry case! That's only for show and not what you'll actually get. Because my crumb cake was insanely good. Couldn't believe how moist the cake was and the crumb topping was literally the same height as the cake itself. 1:1 ratio! Our second visit was for more crumb cake, another breakfast sandwich, coffee and hot chocolate. Couldn't pass it up. The space is tucked away, not overly busy, plenty of seats, and dog friendly! Sadly I didn't take any pictures of the food because I devoured it.

Yelp
What a cute little coffee shop! I love the plant wall that greets you as you first walk in the door. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating here. I got an iced latte and thought it was great; my companion ordered a cappuccino and it came out a little too hot, but definitely still drinkable. Both baristas were very friendly.

Yelp
Chez Lily is one of the most underrated gems in this city. This is one of my absolute favorite places to come to study and get work done during the day. It is never too crowded, provides a great atmosphere to get work done, and provides more affordable (and great quality coffee). As a small business in Mt. Vernon, they help make the neighborhood feel more native and homey. One of the best parts of this place is that it is a dog-friendly cafe (they have a dog water fountain and treats) which means dogs are coming in and out throughout the day. One thing that astounds me about this place is how much they care about their patrons. The owner usually comes in on the weekend and is always attentive to the needs of everyone here. They also have unique seasonal drinks (I think about the maple cinnamon latte from fall frequently) which is always exciting to try. Furthermore, they have a variety of dairy-free alternatives to their coffee (oat, macadamia, and almond I believe). They recently opened an outdoor seating area which I will be excited to take advantage of when it gets warmer.

Yelp
@chezlilydc , I mean! Super cute! With great jamz & coffee! I notice that they serve local @vigilantecoffee too! Oat Latte w/ Simple Syrup I actually sat down to enjoy my latte! They have a few seat around the shop, with a high counter in the window! I opted for the window! Right now, they do have a few seasonal drinks like : Choco Hazel Latte Peppermint Mocha ... and a few more! Oh, and obviously they are Dog Friendly! So bring your fur babies with you!

Yelp
I really wanted to like Chez Lily, it's very cute with plants decorating the space and dog friendly! There are only a few small tables and then some bar stools by the window, so I mainly see it as a take your coffee to go spot. After going a couple of times, I just don't think I'll return. Their drinks are a mixed bag as they had a specialty pistachio drink that was really good, but their chai latte missed the mark.

Yelp
It is very beautiful inside, natural light and greenery when you walk in. There are a few places to sit. There was only one employee working when we went on a Friday morning. Rose latte, iced: I was disappointed. Disclaimer- This was a new thing for me so maybe it tasted how it was supposed to taste and I just don't like rose flavored drinks. However my disappointment comes from expecting something more like coffee with rose taste but it was all rose. The pictures I saw from another Yelp review and in the cafe still looked like coffee with a light brown color. My drink was completely pink and it didn't taste like even a splash of coffee was in it. I would be willing to give this place another try and get one my regular coffee drinks to know if I truly like it or not. The cheesecake brownie was good, worth the 3 stars. It's not the best brownie ever but it was decent.

Yelp
I have been meaning to try this coffee shop and decided to this week. My dad and I ordered sandwiches and coffee. The coffee was delicious! Definitely can add this spot when I need some. The food itself was just ok. We ordered a bagel sandwich and tuna sandwich. While both were good, next time I'll focus just on the coffee. Can't wait to stop in again!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute atmosphere, good and unique lattes, and love that they're pet-friendly since I'm often walking my dog when I stop by to grab a coffee. (...and the fact that they're dog's face is on their cup holders )
google avatar

Yelp
Chez Lilly is small, warm, inviting, and quiet. I enjoyed the space as well as the server and the eats. Rose latte (total Yelp find) was wonderful. The rose flavor was front and center. Very strong! Lots of other options to choose from though, and the breakfast sandwich and avocado toast were really amazing. Nice that they're so dog friendly. Great coffee shop
google avatar

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at this coffee shop not just because it's extremely cute but also the service and coffee we had in here was superb. I had a rose latte and it taste was as good as I thought it will be. The coffee was gridded right there in front of us and the milk was so creamy, I loved it. The taste of the roses essences and the rose on top was to die for and It reminded me of a rose marmalade I used to eat in my country a long time ago. They have seating areas inside and outside the vibe was great and the music was also good.

Yelp
Great coffee shop and vibe! Chez Lily, a somewhat new coffee shop in the now Mount Vernon Triangle (former Mount Vernon Square) neighborhood. Named after the dog of the owners, it is nestled between Tropical Smoothie and Orangetheory -- off of 4th and I Street NW. It is somewhat hidden off the beaten path of its neighboring street just around the corner where Bus Boy & Poets, A Baked Joint & La Columbe.....all share the same block and stay crowded.. Chez Lilly offers the opposite. It is quiet, quaint and the foot traffic is a lot less...at least for now. This is a good thing, especially when you are looking for the perfect neighborhood spot to telework, get some studying or reading done....or even meet-up with a friend for some convo. There are a few small tables and window seating in the place. In addition there is Free-Wifi and it is pet-friendly. Chez Lily offers a selection of coffee, organic loose-teas, wraps, and desserts in a small, but casual comfortable space. On this day, I tried the a unique creation....called a Spicy Turmeric Chai Latte. The title made it seem like there was going to be a lot going on with my drink, but surprisingly....it was soooo good and packed of punch of all the warm spice flavors you think of when you say Chai....ginger, cardamon, cinnamon, vanilla, ground nutmeg...and list goes on! It was finished with rose editable rose petals.....Talk about eye-appeal and healthy!! This drink clearly was the right tonic and elixir to warm your soul....not to mention all the antioxidants in the drink and rose petals which is good for that Vitamin C! One word to describe it in a nutshell...DELICIOUS!! I also tried a Double Fudge Pecan Brownie. Although it look amazing, I must admit it was a disappointment. It was too dry and stale as if it was a couple of days old, to be frank (1 star - deduction). Nevertheless, nothing "a little dunk" in the xxXtra Hot Spicy Turmeric Chai Latte could not solve. Dunking the brownie in this concoction was heaven! In all, a really cool coffee shop with a more community - neighborhood feel. It offers a great space and unique beverages and/or specialty coffee drinks to fit the most indiscriminate coffee drinker taste buds. They also serve regular coffee....which is roasted coffee and espresso beans from Vigilante Coffee Co., a local Maryland-based roaster....some of the best around!

Yelp
Positive vibes only to Lama and her beautiful coffee shop. !! As soon as you walk on, it's a total vibe!! Think neighborhood coffee shop with the friendliest barista on the area behind the bar!!! A perfect morning for a well rounded coffee shop trip!!! The vibe is neighborly, quaint and friendly!!!! I was intrigued to find that lovely conversation I had was with the owner Lama!! She explained how she made the rose milk herself for the coffee and the fact that it is dairy free was a huge plus for my lactose intolerant stomach! She also explained how the shop is named after her own dog Lilly!! If you get your coffee crush to go, cup sleeve has a picture of their lovely dog on it!! How cute!!! The Rose Latte was amazing!! Flavor was there without being overpowering, not to mention is was super adorns to look at!! The Caramel Chai was tasty!!! The spices give a little tingle on the back end making it rememberable indeed. As you can imagine, they are a dog friendly establishment with the water for the pups to prove it!!! There is some seating at the window as well as a few seats with small tables. There is also a gender neutral restroom if needed!! The decor is super cute making it a comfy spot to people watch for a while. Best part of this whole visit, Lama came to check and make sure everything was okay!!! Top notch customer service!!! Definitely adding this neighborhood gem to my coffee shop rotation !!!

Yelp
This little coffee shop is closer to my house than my nearest metro station. It is near Lyric. There is a nice assortment of teas, coffee and bottled drinks. There was only one employee. She didn't really understand us. The menu isn't too extensive. The shop was out of ice coffees on they day of our visit so they added ice to a Mocha. Yum. The Mocha was sweet & good. $6 is a bit pricey for a daily drink but the portion was larger than what I would find at Starbucks. The pastries were okay. Hubby thought the crumb cake was just average. My lemon bar was rich and delicious (full disclosure, I didn't share). There is a tiny selection of macaroons. They are cheaper than Dean & Deluca Or Whole Foods but there isn't a varied choice. What you see is what you get. The shop is cozy and comfortable (if you aren't sitting on one of the metal chairs). You can sit by the window and people watch. Dogs are welcome. There are treats & a water dish for all four legged visitors. I'm happy to see new businesses in the area. I hope this place thrives. The business hours seem dependent on customers who work in the area. With the convention center nearby, there could be a crowd when meetings let out, but not when the place closes at 3pm during the week. Chez Lily is worth a visit.

Yelp
Stopped in this past weekend at Chez Lilly. Cute little shop that serves pretty good coffee. I enjoyed the iced latte, and they have oat or macadamia but milk which is awesome. Also had a couple pastries - the Oreo brownie thing was amazing, and the magic bar was pretty good too. Added bonus - dogs are allowed in the shop! They have a water bowl and box of treats for your pup, so you can stop in and grab a coffee easy.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for a yelp elite event - free drink and pastry! Rose latte had a very strong rose flavor and was pretty good. I don't normally drink coffee so honestly I'm probably not the best person to judge whether the coffee was good or not. Friend I came with who does drink coffee though it was ok. The vanilla macaron was really good! Wish they gave more than one to try since it was so small but it was free so I can't complain. Super cute little cafe that would be nice to do some work and/or catch up with a friend over coffee. However, it's pretty small so you can't come with a huge group and make a ton of noise. Not the place for that.

Yelp
I'm a total sucker for quaint, independent coffee shops in the DC area, so naturally I had to try out Chez Lily when they opened up in Mt. Vernon. When you walk in this cafe just screams homey - the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the pastries look fresh and homemade, and the drink menu is small but carefully crafted. There isn't a ton of space inside, but all of the plants, tiling, and stellar service more than make up for the cramped location. I love that they offer macadamia and oat as milk alternatives, along with quirky original drinks like the rose latte. I settled on an oatmilk iced latte for my stop in, and was more than happy with the taste of my drink. Chez Lily isn't the cheapest coffee shop in the area by any means, but it does have a charming atmosphere and high-quality drinks that more than make up for the price difference, in my opinion.

Yelp
The closest metro stations are Chinatown and Judiciary Square. Chez Lily is somewhere in the middle of the two, sorta. To preface, I went on a Saturday around noon and it wasn't very busy at all. Albeit, the cafe is on a street that isn't heavily trafficked. People stopped in, got their coffee and left, so not many people sat around. The cafe itself isn't very big, but just enough space for people watching and hanging out to work for a bit. There are couple stools along the bar lining the storefront window and a couple small tables and chairs scattered about. The music isn't too loud so you can actually have a nice conversation with a friend or hear your own thoughts. Because I had read previous reviews on the rose latte and other more popular drinks, I decided to go with something different. I ordered an iced dirty chai latte with macadamia milk. It was really good! I had forgotten what macadamia milk tasted like on its own so the owner offered to give me a small sample. They offer both oat milk and macadamia milks as alternatives to cow's milk. How amazing!! The owner Lama, was really sweet and accommodating. Normally they have gluten free treats, but unfortunately their delivery didn't come in time on Thursday so the next delivery would be on Tuesday. She apologized profusely, but honestly, it was no big deal. I just got a coffee cake pastry for my sister instead--which according to her, was very good. The biggest plus in my book is how this cafe is dog friendly! They even have a water bowl and some treats on the side for dogs. The decor is sweet and quaint. And I love how they have a map of the coffee flavors around the world. Overall, I loved this little quaint cafe. I'd definitely stop by again if I'm ever in the area.

Yelp
They have a smoked salmon bagel for only $5.75. I'm pretty sure this is the best deal on smoked salmon bagels in the city. I'll def be back for this often. I'm excited to see one of my favorite dishes at an affordable cost. It's a nice place with indoor seating, easy parking and friendly staff
google avatar

Yelp
Stumbled upon this cute little shop on a walk. Coffee is fresh and strong. 5 stars for service and taste.
google avatar

Aizhan A.

Yelp
The hostess needs to work on her attitude. She was remarkably rude. The tea smelled like toilet water and tasted like, I assume, what toilet bowl water tastes like. I have never thrown away fresh food or drinks, but this tea was just absolutely undrinkable.
google avatar

Kendal Ann M.

Yelp
Are you looking for a cute little coffee shop on DC down by Chinatown? If you are I'd suggest Chez Lily Coffee. Located in a small building with tall top window seats as well as a few additional spots, it's a great spot for people watching. If you're looking for a coffee shop to hunker-down and work at, this is not the place for you. Chez Lily has a dedicated shelf for gluten free treats, which is incredible. They have many dairy milk alternatives including oat, almond, macadamia, and soy. If you don't want run of the mill, now popularized by hipsters coffee shops in the area then check our this mom and pop shop.

Yelp
Rose latte (cold) was delicious! It was light and refreshing but also had that roast espresso undertones which I enjoyed. I also tried their (hot) dirty chai lattes with oat milk and macadamia milk. I enjoyed the oat milk better (it was sweeter), but the macadamia milk felt healthier because of less sugar and healthy fats in it. Both drinks were really good though and were rich, thick/creamy, smooth and not overly sweet. Hummus sandwich is good and filling, but the real star is Labneh and Zaatar (on toast). That was a new dish for me but is delicious, very flavorful and satisfying. Not particularly impressed with the Oreo cake though. It was too creamy and sugary, not deep and dark enough for me. Service was very nice.
google avatar

Yelp
A pretty cute coffee shop in DC. It is incredibly small and doesn't seem to be too busy whenever I go by. I've been a few times now and I wouldn't say the experience is necessarily above average. Service isn't that friendly but the coffee is pretty good. Their baked goods look decent. I think I'd ultimately choose A Baked Joint over this place but still will go every now and then.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop only few minutes walk from the convention center. Chez Lily Coffe offers a good variety of coffees and beverages, as well as pastries and few breakfast/lunch options. As soon as you walk in you're welcomed by a friendly barista. The decor is instagram worthy with colourful painted walls and plants, and the ambiance is unpretentious. The coffee shop is pretty small but there are a few tables and window seatings. It's not necessary a place I'd recommend to go for teleworking/studying, but good to grab a good coffee to go. If you're nearby or attending a meeting at the convention center, you should go check it out!
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Representative of a trend of independent small creative coffee shops throughout the country and especially DC not to mention burgeoning Mount Vernon area. As others have mentioned - delicious and innovative drink selections - recommend iced or warm dirty chai latte or turmeric ginger iced - good for digestion & immune . As far as parties - crumb cake was moist and large - great value and brownie was also very tasty. Lastly, very dig friendly inside and gender neutral restrooms - can't beat this but place natural light and modern ambience. Recommend when nearby, especially at Convention Center and soon to be Apple store, even a short walk from Gallery Place.

Yelp
Chez Lily Coffee is one of the many coffee shops emerging in Mt Vernon Square in downtown DC. If you want a break from nearby A Baked Joint, stop by Chez Lily. It's a beautifully designed cafe with hanging plants, tiles, and window seating. They brew Vigilante coffee, sell fresh pastries, and even have a lunch menu. Wifi is free and strong.

Yelp
3.5 stars! Cute little cafe. Dog friendly! Unfortunately, they close by 3-4pm so you can't stay/come during the evening. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Kinda weird that they don't label their pastries so you don't know what's what and have to ask. The cashier helped me pick out a blueberry muffin which was delicious and crunchy! The rose latte was not sweet at all so I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

Worke T.

Yelp
I had an experience so upsetting today that I decided to write my first Yelp review ever! I am honestly hoping the owner reads this and does something about it as it is not meant to be vindictive. I walked in this morning and ordered a latte and an avocado toast with mozzarella and a balsamic drizzle. While the coffee tasted great, the avocado toast was downright terrible. The bread first of all, was barely toasted, and it seemed as if they just took small scoops of overly ripe avocado, and just smushed it onto the bread, and then totally drenched it in balsamic vinaigrette. And the mozzarella? Nowhere in sight! The taste was so atrocious that I literally took one bite, threw it in the trash and walked out. Had I not been in a rush for work I would have absolutely demanded a refund on the spot!!
google avatar

Yelp
** More like 3.5 stars** i came here yesterday for the elite check in event, without realizing that this was the coffee shop right next door to my office, so I've been several times before. The coffee shop is small, but nicely decorated with comfortable seating. Yesterday, I got the rose latte iced with macadamia nut milk and the crumb cake. The crumb cake was delicious! The rose latte was good, but as someone else mentioned it wasn't as sweet as expected, but I added one packet of stevia and it was just right after! I've never tasted macadamia nut milk and was pleasantly surprised by the texture and taste. I've gotten their regular coffee before, which I must say is not very strong and on the light side. I've also gotten a regular latte before which was fine, nothing amazing. I haven't gotten anything that i can say stood out from other shops. The coffee I've tried has honestly just been average. However, the shop is really cute and I've always received prompt and pleasant service. It's also dog friendly which is great and rare to find. Overall, if you're looking for a no frills coffee shop and a sweet bite the place is a nice place to stop in.

Yelp
Took a weekend trip to Washington DC. On my way back to New York City I had to stop and get some breakfast. This store has amazing decorations, the staff was friendly,It's near the bus station "FLIX bus" and it's dog friendly! When I come back to DC I am definitely stopping by.

Yelp
I had a great experience here! Finally I've found a coffee spot in the Chinatown/mt Vernon area where I can get work done and drink high quality beverages. Although small, this place is bright, clean, trendy and has plenty of seating. I think it's a great place to bring a laptop. The service is awesome and the barista was super sweet and informative. The spring menu is great and the rose latte is awesome!! Not super sweet but definitely flavorful. They also have gluten free pastries which I appreciated! The carrot cake frosting is delicious and the almond croissant was great. My friend ordered the turmeric latte off the seasonal menu, and it was a bit too turmeric heavy for our taste so I'd maybe choose something else if you're considering that one. I'm looking forward to going back here to avoid the crazy long line that frequents a baked joint !

Yelp
What a lovely cafe hidden in NW Washington. I love Vigilante coffee in Hyattsville - I'm so glad I found a cafe in D.C. that sells their beans. The coffee tastes fantastic. I love the variety of their menu, serving traditional espresso drinks and "specialty drinks" such as rose lattes and turmeric lattes. I didn't get to try these specialty drinks, but I'd definitely like to return and try them another time. This cafe is also great for those who like non-dairy milk with their coffee. This is one of the few cafes I've encountered in this area that provide macadamia and oat milk!! The seating is a little limited, but I love the long wide counter by the window. It's a perfect spot for people to bring their laptops and do some work during the day. The WiFi is free as well. This cafe is fantastic just from the food and interior alone, but what made it especially awesome for me was the service provided by the ladies behind the counter. As soon as I entered, they were incredibly friendly and helpful with my questions. I stayed at the cafe for a while because I was studying with my friend and had no idea that the cafe had already closed up for the day. I had overstayed by about 50 minutes, and the ladies never interrupted me to tell me to leave because they were "not finished cleaning up." Now that is some friendly customer service!!! I left as soon as I learned that I stayed so late past closing hours, but I really appreciated that they were courteous enough to let me stay until the absolute latest moment. I will most definitely return to chez lily and recommend it to all my friends in the area!!

Yelp
This little cafe is easy to walk by, but not something you want to miss. The location has a small couch area and seats along the window. The spring special menu has some great drinks available including turmeric latte, rose latte and earl gray latte. There's a full case of delicious looking treats as well. I got the rose latte which was carefully prepared and topped with dried rose petals. The rose flavor was subtle but refreshing. The almond cake was light and creamy. I also tried a bite of the coffee cake which had a great cinnamon sugar flavor. If I'm in the area I would definitely stop in again.

Seamus H.

Yelp
The owner is perhaps the kindest, friendliest person I have ever met. I was a regular here for a while and for good reason--the coffee and pastries are amazing! But what really sold me on Chez Lily was seeing the owner and talking to her. Go say hi for me!
google avatar

Christine P.

Yelp
I loved the decor and atmosphere of this place! It's a cute cozy spot to do some work and enjoy coffee/tea. It seemed like there was only one person working at this cafe though- she made all the coffees/teas and was also running back into the kitchen to warm up the pastries! I tried the chai turmeric latte and it was delicious! I would definitely come back to try the other teas (hibiscus, rose petal, lavender petals, jasmine green, and white peony). The almond cream cake was also good, but just a little too sweet for me. However, there wasn't much of a pastry selection, but probably because I came around 2 pm and it was close to closing time.
google avatar

Sidney H.

Yelp
Really great little new spot! The staff was really friendly and this is a great alternative to some of the busier spots right in the area like a baked joint or joe and the juice. The aesthetics are cute and I really enjoyed the specialty Rose Latte I got. The flavor was subtle but definitely unique. If I'm ever working in the area I will definitely be back to grab coffee here.

Gabriela L.

Yelp
The ambiance here is calm and relaxing. It's rarely loud and busy, so it's a nice place to grab a coffee and work for the day!
google avatar

Alison C.

Yelp
This place is small and easy to miss but definitely a gem. I got the rose latte and the crumb cake, and my friend got the hazelnut latte with a dark chocolate brownie. My friend loved both things she got, and the crumb cake I had was absolutely fantastic in addition to being huge. It wasn't dry at all and had a great subtle flavor. My only gripe was that the rose latte just tasted like a regular sweetened latte with no additional flavor. But overall, this place is really good. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area in the future.

Yelp
Chez Lily is a wonderful little coffee shop in my old neighborhood that serves Vigilante coffee and a variety of pastries. Kind of bittersweet that I don't live around the corner anymore...if I did, I'd be here allllll the time! Also - they have oat milk - hooray! It's an inviting space to stay and work for a bit (great WiFi) or tuck into a good book. I will definitely be back to try the rose latte - looks divine.

Yelp
I love this place. Coffee is amazing, pastries are amazing and so are there sandwiches. The employees always are so nice and have great energy. Chez lily is a great place to sit and get work done while sipping your latte.

Yelp
Chez Lily Coffee cafe is a small, cute spot in a lovely neighborhood, and it can be a good place to telework. The service was respectful and friendly. The place was bright, tidy and clean. Their coffee packed a caffeinated punch, which had me talking faster than I usually did. Their bagel tasted very nice, and it's not often to find oats in a wheat bagel, although I had wished that they add a little more cream cheese on it. My girlfriend had Labne & Zaatar toast, and I had to try a bite of it, which turned out to be delicious. So nice, I had one for myself a couple of hours later. Overall, the experience was pleasant for the teleworking hours. I might come back again someday, should I telework full-time.

Yelp
Did online ordering and pickup before work and was happy with my order! Google Maps took me to the building next door, so keep an eye out for the sign. I had a bagel with cream cheese, which was solid, and flavored iced tea that kicked off the morning well. A good, quick spot if you're in the area!
