"Planned to open this month, the 18,000-square-foot Chez Margaux from Jean-Georges Vongerichten will operate as a large members-only club with membership tiers ranging from $1,800 a year with a $1,000 initiation to $2,600 a year with a $2,000 initiation, varying by age." - Melissa McCart
Very happy with the meal here. Not cheap, all main dishes are €25+ each but you will be very full just that, and the punch is €7.
Complementary samosas, which was very good- crunchy on the outside and perfectly flavored inside.
The owner was very nice to brought us a glass of rum after the dinner and had a quick good chat with us.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience here, Jean François is very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. His gourmet cuisine was delicious, we enjoyed and recommend his place. Even though our French was very bad he and Manue (not sure of the spelling) the waitress, made us feel at home. Thank you guys.

Chez Margaux is an authentic and very unique fine dining experience with lots of charm and hospitality. Owned and operated by French Chef Jean-Francois who combines traditional French and local flavors into delicious selections of wonderful plates du jour. Jean-Francois puts a personal touch on everything he does, from greeting patrons at the door, to reciting all the details of his menu.
To start we had a delicious rum Coconut cocktail (tastes like Christmas egg nog), and a few small tasty appetizers. For the main course we tried a delicious Tuna stew, as well as a fish with a delicious Creole sauce; both served with a small side salad and thick cut fries. Lastly, for dessert (my favorite part) we had a divine chocolate tart with a wonderful Coconut flan...Délicieux!
This is THE “Casual Creole” dining experience to have in Guadeloupe...Chez Margaux is an ideal recommendation!

Everything was excellent. From the staff to the food! We even got samoussas and rum on the house.
The food was very nicely cooked and extremely tasty.
Trully recommend.

Our last night in Guadeloupe, and we wanted a nice last meal. I chose Chez Margot due to high reviews. I quickly found out that you need reservations. However, the owner was able to find a table for us and we had a lovely, full meal. He knew how to serve us, helped us select our food, and treated us to some vanilla rum with our dessert. 5 stars for sure! Great experience.

Went there twice. Good consistent quality both times, and much better than most of the restaurants on the island. Pork was a bit dry though and service was slow.

This place is marvelous. The food is simple but very efficient. The only red flag I found is that that quantity is very small but very tasty and amazing
