This place is awesome! I was born and raised in Portugal and there’s not a lot of places in Fresno where I can get a taste of the food I used to eat in European restaurants, bakeries and cafes. My wife and I absolutely loved it, even though it was just a quick stop for breakfast… we will be coming back for sure. Sam, the owner, was incredibly nice and we got to talk in French for a bit (she speaks English too, don’t worry). The chef, Antoine, was super friendly as well and he cooks everything from scratch. The wait was definitely worth it. You can just tell that this is quality food. The waitress was also super sweet. Love the decor! Can’t say enough about this place. In a way I wish they were at a different location, more upscale, but after hearing their story I understand why they are where they are. I hope that for the sake of your taste buds and overall happiness you give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

My Father and I were skeptical at first knowing he has visited France many times. The food was excellent 👌 😋 and worth the wait, Service was awesome just about every waitress and waiter checked on us and greeted us. We went on a Sunday and the atmosphere was great around 10AM a band s et up and started to play .. ALMOST forgot to mention their pastries 🍰 😅 😳 which they have a plethora of and can't go wrong by ordering what your heart desires

I’ve gone here a handful of times and food has not disappointed, not once. The location isn’t the greatest, but I still make the trip when I can, usually picking up or dropping off a friend at the airport. I imagine they’d have a line out the door if they were at The Row. The watermelon water and cucumber lemon water was a bit to sweet for my liking. I feel like it could do without the added sugars! Service is a bit stale but nothing to complain about. Im conclusion >>>> Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if you haven’t, you won’t be disappointed!

A small restaurant with an inviting atmosphere, French music in the background, delicious food and excellent service. I had the Daisy Crepe, the vinaigrette on the salad was just right. The combination of the crepe, cheese, ham and egg was delicious. The selection of pastries is excellent, there's a bit for everyone and they all look amazing. I had the chocolate croissant, it was flaky on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, and chocolatey at the same time. Overall, delicious. I also had an Americano and regular espresso. Both tasted excellent, they use good quality beans and the barista did a great job. We would definitely visit again.

My grandma would always say. Life is short eat dessert first. I am so glad I did here. Their creamy fresh turn over was perfect. I tried the tuna croisant... it was on point. Perfect for a quick lunch and nice quiet breakfast with your significant other. Or maybe just a solo enjoyment.

Google
First time, great place with some very good options. To much to comment on, update on review….. Went back today and service was completely different, they were a little busy but all 3 people who helped us seemed to be irritated or lacking personality. We waited easily 7+ minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted to order or needed drinks etc. My wife ordered off their side menu, the waitress confirmed and agreed toast with half an avocado and 1 egg, 7.50 They have a very similar dish with salmon that we were billed for, did not receive the salmon though. We were just billed for the dish due to its similarity. With the lack of service and disappointment on billing we will not be returning.

Food was delicious! The latte was so frothy and delicious, the vibe was nice and the live music added a nice LA vibe restaurant to Fresno. I will be back again.

Google
Great place! The only reason I gave a 4 is cause they didnt really know how to cook their meat. One small side of our steak was hardly medium rare while most was well done. I had the salmon avocado toast which filled me up pretty good. Their affagato was delicious but would probably stick with regular coffee next time. I didn't think an affogato would be in such a small cup. Other than that, I had a pastry and it was amazing. Note to self, maybe don't get meats at a restaurant that specializes in pastries.

Yelp
I came here today with two friends and had a really delicious omelette with salmon and spinach. I didn't get to see much of the restaurant because we sat at the first table by the entrance. At 10:30, the restaurant was full. When I arrived, my friends were already seated with water. Coffee was quickly brought out to me. About ten minutes after that, someone came by to take our order. Our food was a bit of a wait but we had plenty to talk about and as I said, it was full, including a large group in the middle. The food is worth the wait. My omelet contained a tender filet of salmon. I wish there had been more spinach but I always wish for greens haha my friends' dishes - veggie crepe (loaded with fresh veggies) and ham and egg croissant sandwich - were also yummy and beautifully presented. Each dish came with a small salad with house vinaigrette, really good and not overdressed! Service was good. There were plenty of waitstaff; my coffee cup stayed full. The cups are small and the coffee good so I appreciated that. They did get a little confused when it came time to pay because we were paying for one friend's lunch and then we purchased a few of the giant croissants. My daughter and I are making breakfast sandwiches with them in the morning and we both can hardly wait haha! I want to mention that on this Sunday, there was live band playing jazz. I loved it but we were on the other side of the restaurant with a partial wall divider; it would have been too loud for me if I'd been closer. Anyway, You pay at the counter when you're done. When I got up there, I saw there was a special for the day, I have to remember to check that the next time. Hoping I have breakfast again here soon, I have to bring my mom.

Yelp
A little bit of France in Fresno. Our crew hit up this French patisserie on our way home from Yosemite. We were a bit ravenous after four days of too many beers and granola bars. Originally the concept of French food for breakfast received a few surprised faces. But I couldn't miss the opportunity to visit once I saw their stellar Yelp reviews and photos. Luckily the crew trusted the Yelp-selection-process and everyone vibrated with excitement while debating the menu options. My meal kicked off with a strawberry matcha, several pastries that I can't pronounce the name of, and the Le Croque Monsieur with turkey. Le Croque Monsieur was once my favorite French dish, but I gave it up when I went cold-turkey on pork - ha! So it was pretty cool to have a turkey alternative to this French-fave. The dish was fantastic, and could easily feed two adults. I was obsessed with their coffee menu and selection of unique bevies. Everything was so aesthetically pleasing it was hard not to perform a full photoshoot. I also loved that they had live music onsite, adding to the European-esque atmosphere.

Yelp
Always have dreamed of going to France, so coming across this little gem was very exciting. The decor is lovely, the space is nice and clean and the staff is very informative! I did arrive on a Monday morning right at opening so I did have the whole place to myself, which was nice but I can only imagine how lively it gets throughout the day. I took my time ordering and picked the Les Plaisirs De Papa. What an interesting plate, it really did give the feel of being in a cafe in France. I did find the dressing on the French toast to be a bit too sweet for my liking. I would recommend this dish to someone that likes to have something savory and sweet! My hot oat milk vanilla latte was perfect especially on a chilly day. Downside to this place for me is the location, it is out by the Fresno airport which unfortunately is too far of a drive for me. I also do wish they had more turkey options especially with their sandwiches.

Yelp
Went here for breakfast with a friend. It was super cute, and I loved the decorations. We got seated quickly, and the service was fast and friendly. I got the French toast and breakfast croissant and shared them with my friend. They were good portions because we both couldn't finish our meals. Both were very delicious! I also got coffee (they give refills), and my friend got the matcha strawberry drink. Very affordable prices for breakfast and presentation. Would love to come again!

Yelp
I've been here twice in one month because I loved it so much. Their chicken grilled cheese is to die for! The service is so accommodating and nice. I felt well taken care of each time. It's really cute inside too. If you give this places a try, PLEASE try at least one pastry. I don't know how they make their whipped cream, but it's the best I've ever had, texture-wise and taste-wise! You can't leave without trying at least one cream puff~ 10/10

Yelp
Walking in is like walking into a quant little cafe, the outside does not do it justice. The staff have always great with a smile and attentive service. I have not had the food items but tried their bakery items, which as amazing. They have great flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. I love stopping in the morning to grab a sweet treat to go with my morning coffee.

Yelp
A cozy and hidden gem near the airport. I've visited twice and each time, the workers are so kind and patient. I tried the fruit pastry the first time, to go and it was so delicious and dreamy! It was light and fluffy and not too sweet. We loved it! Our second visit, we ate in. The bf got the black coffee and I ordered the Americano. We were impressed with the coffee, but the strawberry croissant was on another level! It was flaky and the strawberry cream was delicious! Probably the best croissant pastry we've had in Fresno, maybe even ever! It's up there! I was indecisive on pastries and they offered me the heart pastry on the house! That was super sweet! We really enjoyed it too during our February visit for the holidays! I can't wait to return and plan to come back with friends for coffee and more! I am in love with this cute and quaint French cafe! It's perfect to meet up with friends or a cute day date!

Yelp
Needed a snack after we left the airport. What a stroke of good luck. A great little French Cafe, amazing meals and pastries. Enough food where our snack ruined dinner but we couldn't resist. I had basically a ham and cheese with an egg on top, French style. That means plenty of sauces, flavors and dressings. Absolutely amazing!! If you're by the airport, or anywhere in Fresno and want a great lunch make sure Chez Maryse is on your list.

Yelp
This is absolutely one of the nicest restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is prepared with a lot of attention to details and it is reflected in the presentation and taste. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fresno.

Yelp
Found this place with a quick Yelp search on a road trip, and oh my goodness, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything looked delicious; I didn't know what to choose from, but the steak, in particular, looked mouth-watering, so I ordered it. When I say that this is easily in the top 5 best steaks I've ever had, just know it's that good.

Yelp
Such a cute place! This place makes you feel like you're not in Fresno. The portions were pretty good for the price. The omelette was one of the best things we ordered. I thought the crepes would've been the best, but they were a bit too sweet for me (even when I have a huge sweet tooth). We had ordered the steak too, but that was a bit over cooked. The best part of that plate was the mushrooms. As for the burger, it was a plain ol' burger, nothing too special.. just little to no sauce. Also the place can get pretty busy, so the service isn't the best.. when we went there was a table who even left due to not getting service for 10-15mins of getting seated.

Yelp
The place was clean and cozy. The service was excellent. The owner and her BFF are very welcoming and super friendly. They have an amazing story behind their business. And the food is amazing and above average! A definite must try! You will NOT be disappointed!

Yelp
I absolutely love this spot!! Staff is really friendly/you get checked on often Menu has both sweet and savory options Interior is super cute with lots of seating I got the Les Plaisirs de Papa (5/5) ($11.50) and loved it! The French toast is definitely for you if you have a sweet tooth, and the garlic sticks dipped in the egg yolk add a nice contrasting touch from all the sweetness. Not only was it delicious, but the plating was picture-worthy!! I ALSO love how the menu has pictures! When you pay up front, there are TONS of pastries to choose from if you want a dessert. I didn't get one, but I very much regret it and will be back!

Yelp
Delightfully delicious food with friendly service from start to finish! We were excited to try Chez Maryse for the first time and it did not disappoint. Ambiance was charming with plenty of indoor seating and limited outdoor seating. We arrived during a busy Saturday morning which did not seem to faze the friendly staff. We were immediately seated with menu and water provided promptly. Slight wait for food but understandable given both the quality of the food and busyness. The Basque crepe was flavor packed without being heavy and a perfect portion. I recommend ordering spicy which gets its heat from sriracha. My husband ordered the croque Madame which is a croque monsieur, topped with a fried egg. I stole a bite and it was delicious though the egg did seem to take away the crunch of its namesake sandwich. My only regret was splitting a chocolate croissant..the pastries are too delicious to share!

Yelp
My brother kept bugging my family to come here for some reason so here we are. Didn't think you'd find this cozy cafe next to the airport. I love the wood accents you see everywhere and the live music from the band really sold it for me (only on Sundays I have heard). Definitely a cute date spot with a variety of good food options and pastries and some drink options. Had the affogato while my caffeine addicted brother had the black eye. First time I had affogato and, so far, it is one of my preferred ways to have coffee now. We shared the French toast and crepe and we loved every bit of it. They both use similar sauces, but I recommend trying the French toast first. Loved the burnt ends that came with the soft boiled egg as a dip. Acts as a good break from the sweetness from the French toast. As for the crepe, I loved the fruit assortment with the different flavored creams. Finally, my favorite, le croque madame. Ordered this for myself cause I knew this was gonna be good. Bread was toasted perfectly, love pesto and sunny side egg, nice savory and meaty flavor with the salad to wrap it all up. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is just the cutest little place in Fresno. Perfect for breakfast, brunch and lunch. They have a variety of croissants, omelettes, crêpes, and sandwiches on a wonderful French burger. They also have delicious desserts and croissants to take home or eat there. They also sell their wonderful salad dressing. I do recommend to pick up a bottle. You also need to try their chili sauce. It's to die for and I think they should definitely sell that in a bottle because I would buy it. The staff is wonderful and accommodating the answer your questions and you can see how they interact with their customers going from table to table to ask how everything is it is definitely a must try if you are looking for something different than a crowded restaurant. I loved this place.

Yelp
This place never misses! I had the salmon, spinach, and avocado omelette with a side salad so fresh. The watermelon drink and Dirty Mango (non-alcoholic) were delicious. The assistant manager made me his Hmong chili peppers again amazing! My waitress was wonderful. I even filmed a quick video to capture the atmosphere the peaceful vibe, French music, beautiful ambience, and of course, the food. I was the only one dining in, and even near closing, the service and quality were top-notch. Always a favorite for fresh, flavorful meals!

Yelp
I have seen my friend come here numerous times! The time has finally come for me to try them! Located not far from the Yosemite airport on McKinley street. Order: I got the Pavlova, it's has some crispy corners almost tasting like marshmallows with a whip cream center. There are fresh fruits inside and I can almost taste a small hint of herb, but can't tell what it is. Either way it was delicious. It's a very light and airy treat to have, not too sweet and very delectable. In addition, I also got the Mix Fruit Tart that had a nice flakey baked base and layered with some cream and fresh fruit. Scrumptious! Finally, I got the Paris-breast which had a nice nutty flavor from the hazelnut cream sandwiched in the middle. It is drizzled with caramel I believe. I enjoyed all the baked items from the display case. Can't wait to go back to try their warm items like some of the sandwiches they have. The service was great. The young lady was very attentive and patient. Inside is nice and neat. It's a cute little vibe with so many little decors inside the shop. Plenty of indoor seatings and I think this would make a cute brunch place.

Yelp
Cute bakery for a brunch date! So many tasty choices I don't remember what pastry I got but it was delicious haha I wanted to order one of everything
google avatar

Elena S.

Yelp
Ham, egg and cheese croissant sandwich was delicious, as well as the salad that comes with. (Sweet dressing was good!) The fruit tart was a bit dry with just dollops of cream on top and many layers of puff pastry. Service was also quite slow, but the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. I am looking forward to coming when they have live music on Sundays!
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of my new favorite places for a leisurely lunch date. The food is legit French flavors with a spicy kick if you choose. I love the chicken or veggie crepe. The greens with dressing served alongside the crepes has a simple elegance that's signature of French salads. The pastries are always delicious so save room for dessert!
google avatar

Yelp
A cute little hidden gem in Fresno! This is a very cute restaurant with delicious food. And the pastries are beautiful! Service staff is great, helpful and very friendly. It's a happy spot with delicious food. This location is close to the airport and is very convenient.

Yelp
1st time at Chez Maryse. We were pleasantly surprised. Started with a croissant & cappuccino. Highly comparable to the one recently had in Paris. Tried their crepes and ham, cheese, egg sandwich. Servings were abundant & delicious. Staff extremely friendly. Extra bonus was the jazz on Sunday from 10-2. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me while I was in Fresno. Nice quaint place with good ambiance. I ordered the ham, egg and cheese croissant. The came out and said they were out of croissants and substituted a La Croque Madam for the same price. It was delicious and would definitely order again. On top of it, due to the issue they gave me a De Kompose pastry. I had never had one. It was amazing. Very light and delicious. Just on the customer service alone I would come back but the food was wonderful as well. Definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
Came in for lunch. The Chicken and pesto omelette, salmon crepe were really good. French ambiance was clean, quiet and perfect for a nice daytime date.

Yelp
THEY'VE EXPANDED THEIR MENUS! I had one of the most FLAVORFUL omelettes yet! (TRUMPETS SOUND)! :D It was on their daily special 'chalkboard' menu, which happened to be a 'mushroom' omelette. Le YUM! I neither speak, read, or CORRECTLY PRONOUNCE French (even 'fries' laugh when they see me coming) and I forgot what it was named. . . BUT, I will be ordering that again, SOOOOO GOOD! BTW, do you know what's nice? Going in there with peaceful, low volume music in the BACKGROUND (not center stage, in your face & down your throat) and hearing the sounds of happy conversation. So pleasant. Check out the latest food pics below ;

Yelp
I will be going out in the Fresno summer heat just to eat here. The food was amazing! This place is truly a hidden gem in Fresno.

Yelp
Cute spot. What we ordered was delicious! They had live music which elevated the experience. The good: We ordered the French toast. 10/10 The ribeye was also good but the scalloped potatoes and the salad dressing stole the show. The chicken croque monsieur was super good too. The place was really cute. Staff is super friendly. The slightly not even that bad: Coffee menu is a bit limited. But definitely can find something good anyway. The food menu is also a bit small but everything we got was delicious so it wasn't a problem. The food took a little bit to come out but it was bussssyyyy and everything was fresh. Would def come back.

Yelp
A hidden gem . Chez Maryse is French Bakery Cuisine. They have a variety of pastries ranging from croissants to tiramisu. They serve coffee drinks such as lattes, americanos, drip coffee etc. With already amazing pastries and drinks. Chez Maryse has an exquisite breakfast and lunch menu items. Today I had the pleasure of trying Le Croque Monsieur: French Style Ham & Swiss Cheese w/ a salad drizzled w/ vinaigrette. I have yet to try other things on the menu, but based off the Le Croque Monsieur which was just divine Everything else will be just as good. Give them a try. Their food is authentic French food. Even their decor is French theme. A fun fact the owner works with those who have developmental disabilities. The owner is amazing.

Yelp
The food here is so beautiful to look at and even more delicious to eat! The Les Plaisirs De Papa (French Toast) was very light fluffy and crispy, the berries frosting and spread all so tasty and not overly sweet the perfect combination and amount of sweetness! The egg and garlic toast side is also very enjoyable! The service is very kind and attentive. Live band on Sunday.

Yelp
I visited this place in April 2024. The place was clean and cozy with a French-themed decor. The staff member who helped me was helpful and welcoming. I was very hungry, so ordered the French Burger (to-go). The wait was decent. I was the only customer at the time. The burger was too greasy for me (like, oil dripping when you pressed it), but the buns were pretty good. I think they are homemade. Everything tasted okay overall. I don't think I'll order the burger again though. It was in the afternoon, so there were barely any pastries left. I asked if they had chocolate croissants (during the day), and was told that they did not offer those yet. It's too bad, because it's one of my favorite items to get from a French bakery/cafe. I recently checked their online menu, but was sad to see that they still don't carry it. For now, just regular butter croissants and almond croissants among other items. I'm planning to go back and try other food items, as well as drinks. From their online menu, their "Ribeye sarladaise" looks delicious, so that's probably what I'm going for next!
google avatar

Yelp
They have expanded their variety. I love that they bring you water in glasses now and love the aesthetics of the plates/ boards. The water doesn't taste like tap either.

Yelp
Such a cute little café. The food is very fresh since it is made to order. It does take some time but is worth the wait. I had the croissant sandwich with tuna it reminded me of a Bánh mì with the carrots, daikon, cilantro, and jalapeños. There was a special sauce and an option for pâté. I only went for the special sauce and it was very delicious. My father-in-law got the La Saumon (Salmon Crêpe) it was very scrummy. My husband got Le Croque Madame with Steak. The eggs were cooked to perfection. It is a heavy meal and the salad is a nice side. We really wanted to try a crêpe but didn't want a big meal or sweet option so we got a Buttery Crêpe. It was so delicious you can really taste the quality of the butter and the salt

Yelp
My mom and I had some time to kill in town and found this perfect spot. We enjoyed this cozy, welcoming and helpful pastry shop. Our favorite was La Tulipe, we absolutely will be back because we are definitely thinking about it already! It was so flavorful with a perfect crisp inside, can't wait to try more on our next visit!

Yelp
Wow. Reminds me exactly of Paris. The Croc Monsieur was delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Plenty of gooey cheese and ham. The ambience makes you feel like you are in a different place!!! Service was excellent, I definitely have to come back!

Yelp
This place is such a welcome addition to this area! It's cute inside with plenty of seating. The setup is unique and cozy. I got the pesto chicken crepe (I forget what they call it) which was yummy. I liked the side salad that came with it, the dressing was really light and slightly sweet. I'd get this one again. I did get a different crepe the second time that had meat and egg but it wasn't as filling. The croissants were okay. The tea water was a little too hot, they might want to turn down the thermostat on that. The best part of this is the service and environment. They are friendly and connect with the community.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was amazing! Everything I tasted was great and I even got a couple things to take home. The ambiance is cute and quiet. It's a very small place but lots of people came in and out. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

Yelp
I've had my eye on this place since they opened. 10mins away from home I convinced my husband to go with me to have brunch with our 2 littles. Arrived around 9am today. It was a bit too warm inside we had to take our sweaters off. It's clean, cute, cozy and there's plenty of seating indoor and out. The display of desserts/pastries all looked so beautiful and delicious! The lady at the front was helping another customer but she acknowledged us. Once it was our turn she asked if we were dinning in we said yes she said to take a seat and she would give us a menu. It took her a minute to give us menus as it got alittle busy. When she came back she took our drink order. I had a Carmel latte and my husband ordered an expresso shot. Our order: Le Croque Madame, Les Plaisirs De Papa with scrambled eggs and Chicken Croissant Sandwich (you can choose your protein). Our food came out in about 20mins everything was presented beautifully and the portions were pretty big. The salads were fresh Chef Antoine's special vinaigrette was amazing!!! Everything was delicious and so very filling. The croissants and bread were all toasted perfectly, they were generous with the fillings. Might have found our new favorite brunch/dessert spot and so glad it's so close to home. For desserts we ordered Eclair, Mousse Au Chocolat, Opera, Strawberry Mini Chouxs. Everything tasted as expected and was perfect. The chocolate mousse was so delicate and fluffy and not overwhelming sweet. The eclair and strawberry chouxs was chefs kiss! I've never had the opera and I was expecting it to be soft but it wasn't but still rich in flavor and delicious. Highly recommend this place and we will be returning!!! Restaurant and restrooms are clean, food is delicious and great customer service!

Yelp
Came here during a weekday for lunch. There were about 3 tables taken when I got there and then as it neared noon, there were about 10-12 people who walked in. The staff are pretty friendly and the food amazing. It's about time we got a cafe like this on this side of town. I ordered Le croque, the crossantwich with chicken, and some pastries on the side. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The croque sandwich was amazing. Very big portions and we added eggs for $2.50 and the eggs were perfectly medium. The crossantwich had a little bit of chicken and a little too much pate for my tastes, but still good. The pastries were perfectly moist and not too sweet. The croissant was crunchy yet moist. Honestly the best pastries I've had in awhile and I can't wait to try their other pastries. The searing here is spacious with almost 15 tables and there's also outdoor seating and bar seating. The place is beautiful inside and nice. You order first at the register and then you get the food where you sit. They could be more consistent about asking whether you want your food for here or to go. My only complaint is that they gave my sandwich to someone else sitting next to me. That person ordered tuna and even said aloud that she didn't think they gave her tuna and that she got chicken but that it was still good. The guy then came out and wondered why I was still missing my sandwich and that was because he had given it to someone else. It was because he was giving out orders without confirming it was theirs. I waited 25 minutes because of this snafu. I think a simple number system will fix this problem and given that they just opened, hopefully the find something that works instead of confusing orders like they did. Nonetheless, the food is great and well-priced. I highly recommend this place to others.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Everything we've tried so far has been so yummy! Here is what we've tried: -Affogato, beautiful espresso flavor -Veggie Quiche , good but I prefer the ham one. -Ham Quiche, so delicious. My favorite. -Le Croque Madame, ham & cheese; bf loved it -French Toast; beautiful and so delectable. -ALSO shout out to the side salad with chefs vinaigrette, so delicious (I need to buy some! They sell the vinaigrette) -La Tulipe; so good! It was quite sweet so I could not finish it (but I don't have a huge sweet tooth! If you do you would absolutely love this!!) -Opera; OMG. I loved this. Next time I will have to have this with a cup of coffee. Service: 5/5 I've been here twice and both times the staff were friendly and attentive. The first time was on Sunday morning and the second time was the following Wednesday (today) around lunch, BECAUSE IT'S JUST THAT GOOD! They were a bit packed on on Wednesday during lunch but I felt the service was still good. Ambiance: 5/5 It is so cute and cozy in the bistro! I love the decor and appreciate the art on their walls. Claude Monet is one of my favorite painters. Cute spot to hang out with friends, take your date, or treat yourself. 100% recommend! Such a pleasant surprise and gem in Fresno.

Yelp
Very cute French themed bakery/cafe. You can order at the counter or sit and scan the menu at your table. Not a huge selection of pastries, but my friend and I tried a few different things. She had the croque madame, which was very good. A little rich with cheese, ham and mornay sauce, but a side salad with wonderful light dressing balances it. Coffees were good, and they come by and offer refills, even though I ordered a latte (refill with reg coffee). Unfortunately, the almond croissant I ordered was overdone and very crispy with no moistness or softness left. We informed the owner and she thanked us for letting her know and offered us something else. We tried the chocolate mousse and it was delicious! There was a raspberry what looked to be maybe a cream puff that she also gave us, and that was okay. The decor inside is adorable and Victorianish. Service was excellent. They took the criticism of the croissant very well and said they were immediately making more. I took off 1 star for that, but I am confident they will work out the bugs. If you work in this area, check it out!

Yelp
Located in McKinley and Fine in south east Fresno. This cute cafe is only been open for 8 months. Today is 11/24 so many customers walk in while I was here. I have to say this place is a diamond in the rough. Inside it's warm great food and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was my first time and enjoyed my Latte and the Madame $12.99 is the popular choice for breakfast. If you're interested in French pastries and French breakfast or sandwiches you should check it out.

Yelp
I recommend for you to come here for brunch. Services are great, and the foods are good! -1 star; tables are kind of close to each other. A lot of people were staring at each other.

Yelp
I really want to gate keep this place but it's too good not to share. The owners are super nice and explained every single menu item and pastry to us. They have a breakfast/lunch menu with sweet and savory options as well as sweet pastries already made. The Choux pastries they have displayed are DELICIOUS. The crunchiness of the outside of the pastry and the cream in the middle is perfection. I selected a croissant pastry with cream and berries on top and asked for a coffee on the side. The cream was not too sweet and the croissant was divine. My partner chose Le Croque and the cheese and ham came together so well. The entire restaurant is French themed and has very clean tables and chairs. Looks like they maintain the place very well! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try French style pastries in Fresno.

Yelp
The omelets are bomb. The service is prompt and the staff is fantastic. The pasties are outer worldly..

Yelp
Came here for breakfast on a Sunday and not crowded, but people kept arriving as it got later. We ordered a crepe, croissant sandwich, and pastry. They were all delicious. The owner gave us samples of an almond flour cookie they just made and told us they have live jazz music starting at 10 am on Sundays. Ambiance was nice and service was good. My crepe came with a free coffee, so prices were reasonable. Pastries were a bit pricier--$26 for half a dozen plain croissants. Coffee was very good and food was tasty. Located near the airport with outdoor seating and plenty of parking.

Yelp
Very friendly and attentive service. We were seated and ordered 2 breakfast/brunch items from the menu. Then we went to go check out the pastries and ordered a couple of those as well (see pictures). I ordered the chicken croissant sandwich and although it was tasty, the meat was a bit dry. The meringue was absolutely delicate and delicious. The decor is super cute and cozy. The music added a nice touch and was quiet enough to allow a good conversation between friends.

Yelp
Lovely, welcoming, warm & cozy French café with exceptional customer service, incredibly generous portions, reasonable prices and stunning French pastries. Visited on a weekday morning with a coworker. I ordered Les Plaisirs de Papa (Papa's favorite breakfast - French toast with fruit, Chantilly cream, caramel and chocolate drizzle with a soft boiled egg and garlic toast sticks on the side) and my coworker ordered the Daisy Crepe. Both meals were large, fresh, and beautiful. I also had a coffee (not watery, nice a strong but not bitter) and she had a strawberry matcha which was creamy and delicious. We also got a pastry, which was not only stunning to look at, but incredibly good. It was filled with a chilled, light raspberry mousse which tasted like fresh, natural raspberries - nothing artificial. Altogether, the meal was $40 (before tip) which felt very reasonable for the high quality of the food, generous portions, and great service. Would recommend for sure.

Yelp
Small storefront cafe out by Fresno airport. Delicious food, unique bakery goods, delightful service. Oh, and they make really good espresso.
