I had the most incredible dining experience at "Chez Simon". This restaurant truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. I am extremely grateful to the chef and the team for going above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Instead of having created separate dishes for me, the chef ingeniously adapted each course, ensuring I could enjoy a full and delicious dining experience without any worries. This level of care and attention made my dining experience even more exceptional. The ambiance at "Chez Simon" is intimate and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special meal. Visually, the dishes are stunning works of art. Each plate is carefully crafted, showcasing the chef's creativity and dedication to their craft. The flavors are balanced to perfection, a true testament to the chef's culinary mastery. The commitment to using fresh and high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. What struck me as remarkable was discovering that the chef didn't receive training in France, while their culinary skills rivaled some of the best French cuisine I've had. This adds a unique and unexpected dimension to their already impressive culinary creations. I'm already looking forward to revisiting "Chez Simon." Update: We went again this sep 2025! We were in awe with the new space. The views (you can see Namsam tower!) , the ambience, the superb hospitality and of course, the food were all 5 stars. It was the highlight of the trip. It was our Perfect Dinner. ❤️ Runned by a lovely couple Min Gyun & Eun Kyo. They put in effort into every detail of our fantastic dinner experience. I’ve been coming here with my ex girlfriend, now wife since 2012. I secretly hope lesser ppl know about this place so that I can book the place more easily 😂. Well done guys! ❤️

(I actually went there last year in October 2019) I was travelling alone in Seoul for a few days. While researching for food, I came across Chez Simone, which looked really interesting. However their booking system was in Korean and seemed like they don't accept foreign credit cards. Instead I asked my hotel to make a reservation for me. The food was so good! I stayed in Gangnam area, so it's a bit far out. But it was super worth the trip. It was a Sunday lunch there wasn't a lot of people. The restaurant owners were super attentive and speaks good english. Everything was finger-licking good. The cost was very reasonable too. I will definitely come back again when I visit Seoul, and highly recommend my friends to try it out.

ChezSimon concentrates on their dinners preference. Appreciate they ask in advance whether we’re allergic to any food. Price is also reasonable when I think of the courses they provide. It’s not flavorable but they focus on the natural flavor of each ingredients and combine them.

Visited several times before at their old location. Still great produce and cooking. Quiet and nice couple just focusing on cooking wonderful meals for their guests. Good value too.

Excellent food and a good selection of new world/French wines. This is a must go place, if you are looking for quality modern French fare in Seoul. The chef cooks with technical finesse and passion. I was thoroughly satisfied. Highly recommended.

All dishes were well presented and tasted good especially the steak.
