Chhaya Cafe

This is my goto place.. it's beautiful. The vibes are calming and relaxing. The view and service is amazing. I had dosa, veg sandwich, and ginger lemon honey tea. It was good .

This cafe is my favourite in Dehradun. It always feels like home to me. They have everything made fresh and healthy. The bakery products and coffee are my all time favourite. Evening time here is amazing and the view from the cafe is beautiful.

I see so much potential in Chaya Cafe, but there is a major issue that needs addressing. During my visit, the Wi-Fi was unavailable because the bill hadn't been paid/recharged. For a cafe in Dehradun, reliable internet is a basic necessity, not a luxury. Without it, you are unintentionally turning away a huge customer base—students, freelancers, and remote workers. Please consider slightly increasing your prices or introducing a few premium items/combos to cover these overheads. Most customers wouldn't mind paying a little extra for a coffee if it comes with a comfortable environment and reliable connection. Not having Wi-Fi is a business killer in today's market. I hope to see this fixed so I can return!

Chicken wrap 3/5 Hot chocolate 4/5 Coffee 3.5/5 Pancake 4/5 Pasta 4/5 Chicken Sandwich 4/5 Overall it was an okayish experience. No parking is a major issue for this cafe. When I visited , the atmosphere was dull. The food was fine, but the pancake was served very cold. Service was good as well.

Very good atmosphere, extremely good coffee with beautiful view in evening. Has a beautiful experience here. As you enter very warm bakery smell comes which makes you feel warm. Very nice place. Must go here. I ordered cold coffee and wrap. Its was best.

The view that you get from Chhaya cafe is unmatchable. Just order a nice, warm cappuccino, get yourself a couple of good books and enjoy the Himalayan view on a monsoon evening and chill. This is exactly what I did and absolutely loved my time here. Although, I did not eat anything, but the sheer quiet and tranquil time I spent here during the evening was enough for me to warrant a come back, which I shall be doing soon. Like, really soon. Good coffee, superb ambience and awesome view makes up for every stress and tension that you might have in your life! ❤️

Great view but unpalatable food . Yes! We went to a famous cafe in Rajpur, enjoyed cool breeze in their terrace area had a muh full of strong cold coffee. P.S That's how we like it, but when it came to the food, well continue reading. . A mexican veg wrap, cheese sandwich, white sauce pasta, veg noodles and crunchy Chinese salad(Wai Wai & coleslaw). @chhayacafedoon . Instant regret! Veg wrap was unbelievably mexican stuffing inside a roti. Yes! a roti. Cheese sandwich was bread roasted in butter with cheese inside. We had deliberately asked the staff whether it had veggies inside. Yes! They said. Noodles were okayish and salad was a new taste some people would like. Now the pasta. Each of us(4 people) had few bites of pasta which had a hint of pickle taste for inexplicable reasons and that was it for us. After paying a handsome amount for the food we had to leave we all had something funny going on in our stomach for hours after that. . . Food: 6/10 Drinks: 8/10 (we just tried coffee) Ambiance: 8/10 . For what it's worth(view) just have a coffee and stay away from the food. We would recommend the staff to either carry on with their decor business or atleast put some efforts into the kitchen and not just exploit the view they've got.

Nice ambiance and cool staff they were so kind and helpful nice place 1000% recommended menu was budget friendly toooo loved it 💕😁💓💓
