Since the restaurant is new to the area, I decided to give it a try. I walked in 50 minutes before closing, intending to place a takeout order. The server immediately told me it had to be to-go, which was fine but then asked what I wanted before I even had a chance to see the menu. When I said I needed a minute, she replied that she’d have to check with the cook to see if I could order at all.
With nearly an hour left until closing, that response was off-putting. I chose to leave and take my business elsewhere. I've never had such a negative first impression, especially from a new restaurant. With service like that, I can’t imagine it lasting long.
