"For a last-minute dinner in the middle of Shibuya, Chibachan is your answer. While there have been many modern izakayas opening up in Tokyo recently, this one is laid-back, affordable, can accommodate larger groups, and is guaranteed to be a good time. At the heart of that good time is their karaage yacht, which is a super-sized wooden boat carrying over 40 pieces of crisp chicken. They also have trough-style servings of edamame, and a reasonably priced all-you-can-drink option that makes for a memorable night out. There are five locations throughout the city, mostly located in busy areas like Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro. Nothing better than a beer and all the fried dishes. I would say the place is worth your money when visit. Its a gathering place with a lot of Japanese younger buddy, so it will be a little bit noisy =))) but you find out the slangs the drinking games that are famous among japanese buddies.

It's great izakaya, quantity of food and drinks are extremely big, especially comparing to the prices. I highly recommend the warm sake.

A nice and relatively cheap izakaya with very very large portions of food. The food tastes great. Table charge is a bit less then 500 for a table of 2. I enjoyed the food. I probably won’t come back though.

Great experience. Come here to try their karaage boat. It’s very huge portion. Tried another menu too, it was good and tasty. Will come again someday.

THEY SKIMP ON THE DRINKS. Look at the photos. We ordered the mega glass of alcohol and asked for no ice. They literally fill the massive glass half way full. It's completely unacceptable. Alcohol costs nothing in Japan. This just shows that this establishment, the employees, were taught to be greedy and profit oriented. Don't come here if you want watered down drinks and half full drinks (without ice because it's already cold). Honestly, the food was good, the prices are decent, atmosphere great.

This place had probably the best fried chicken I've ever had in Japan - and a considerable size of serving too! The beer options were limited but overall there's a variety of drinks available. Talking about the ambience, it is very lively and you can talk out real loud with your friends. Melon sour was a sweet surprise.

Great place with a great atmosphere! A bit too loud at peak times but that’s whatever. Food’s delicious and there’s a lot to choose from the menu! Highly recommend.
