Chic Nonna

Honestly, Chic Nonna is one of my absolute favorite Italian restaurants in the UAE. Every single dish I tried was exceptional, and the vintage, elegant interior design adds such a beautiful charm to the experience. A special thank you to AGM Francesco Grassi for his wonderful hospitality, and to Chef Francesco Torcasio for the outstanding food. The entire team is incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. Truly an exceptional dining experience. I would recommend it 100%.

Chic Nonna in Dubai’s DIFC is an Italian haven where rustic charm meets modern elegance. The atmosphere is cozy yet chic—olive trees, terracotta tones, and candlelit velvet chairs create a warm, inviting vibe, perfect for a romantic dinner or lively night out. The food is a celebration of Italy’s soul, crafted with fresh, premium ingredients. Each dish, from tender starters to hearty mains and hand-rolled pastas, bursts with flavor, balancing tradition with innovative flair. Desserts are indulgent, creamy perfection. The attentive, passionate staff elevate the experience, making Chic Nonna a DIFC gem I’ll return to for its vibrant charm and unforgettable.

We had such a wonderful time at Chic Nonna with their new La Famiglia Sunday brunch. It’s purposefully flow, like Sunday lunches should be. A glorious and generous menu with 6 starters (you get them all!), 2 pastas and a choice of grilled salmon or amazing veal scallopini for mains, and an amazing dessert room that honestly I would come back for just for those heavenly pastries! Also - there is candy floss! I’m a big kid at heart so this was a delight! Also 10/10 for at last a brunch not being the sensory overload of a wild DJ playing music far too loud. Instead an amazing vocalist and violinist doing Italian classics. Thank you to Maxim and his team for a wonderful afternoon!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Chic Nonna – everything was perfect from start to finish! The ambiance of the restaurant is stunning, the food was truly exceptional, and the service exceeded all expectations. A special thank you to Mohammed Rasel, who took such great care of us throughout the evening. He was incredibly attentive and made sure every detail was perfect. His warm attitude and professionalism truly elevated our visit. We were celebrating my mom’s birthday, and the team made it such a memorable occasion. The staff were so sweet during the celebration – they surprised us with an additional dessert on the house, specially prepared for the occasion. It even included a rich, decadent chocolate dessert that isn’t on the menu – it’s a signature creation of the restaurant, and it was absolutely divine. The only thing I would point out is that the A/C needs some improvement – although the seating is indoors, the space felt quite warm, which made it slightly uncomfortable at times. Still, from the elegant atmosphere to the heartfelt service and delicious food, Chic Nonna is a place I would highly recommend for any special occasion – or simply for an unforgettable dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

had such a great time at chic nonaa ! The food was delicious and came out so quickly, which was a nice surprise. But honestly, what made the experience so special was Nico, our server. He was so kind, friendly, and really made us feel welcome. Everything just felt easy and enjoyable, especially with valet parking taking the stress out of finding a spot. It was such a perfect evening—I’m already looking forward to going back. Deema 💙

The ambiance is absolutely stunning, blending modern elegance with the warm, inviting charm reminiscent of Italy's golden summer days. The restaurant’s design features sophisticated decor, soft lighting, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes each visit feel special. The food is nothing short of spectacular, with a menu inspired by the vibrant flavors of Italy. The brunch begins with a selection of sharing starters that immediately set the tone for a luxurious meal. Highlights include fresh oysters, tuna tartare crafted with premium bluefin tuna, avocado mousse, mango, and Oscietra caviar, as well as a flavorful octopus salad with fresh octopus, squid, olives, capers, parsley, and a zesty lemon dressing. One personal favorite was the Parmigiana della Nonna—a baked eggplant dish layered with mozzarella, Parmigiano Reggiano, and basil sauce, offering a perfect balance of richness and freshness. Pizza enthusiasts will appreciate the classic Pizza Margherita, topped with ripe tomato, fior di latte cheese, and basil, alongside a beautifully presented burrata served with organic tomatoes and basil oil. The pasta options are diverse and perfect for sharing, with dishes like Risotto ai Frutti di Mare, featuring a medley of seafood and Amalfi lemon, and Rigatoni alla Norma, with datterino tomato sauce, eggplant, and ricotta salata—my daughter’s favorite. For main courses, the menu includes individual servings such as tender grilled chicken cooked in a flavorful Cacciatora style with potatoes, mushrooms, and tomato sauce, and a stunningly plated seabass fillet accompanied by green pea purée, Mediterranean sauce, frisée lettuce, and lemon dressing. The dessert selection is equally impressive, served in a dedicated Dessert Room that exudes elegance. Here, you can indulge in cream puffs, eclairs, tarts, and fresh fruit, providing the perfect sweet ending to an already memorable brunch experience. Overall, Chic Nonna’s L’Estate Chic Brunch offers a delightful combination of exquisite food, gorgeous ambiance, and impeccable service, making it a must-visit spot in Dubai for anyone seeking a taste of Italy’s summer magic.

One of my new favorite restaurant. The staff are all welcoming and nice, the atmosphere is so beautiful and the view is gorgeous. Food is beyond good specially the spaghetti all assassina!!! Mohammed Russel was our server and he was the sweetest!!!!
