I’ve been to Chica Chica Ettalong twice now — once for a company dinner (25 people) and another time for my birthday weekend, and both visits were absolutely fantastic! For our company event, everyone unanimously agreed that the place was perfect, from the lively vibe and great music to the superb food and fantastic staff. Every dish was a hit, especially the beef short rib, sliders, corn ribs, and arancini balls. The cocktails were also top-notch, beautifully made and delicious. The service was exceptional both times, with a special mention to Caitlyn, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Chica Chica has the perfect mix of atmosphere, flavour, and hospitalit. A definite go-to whether you’re dining as a group or celebrating something special!

I’ve been to Chica Chica three times now, and every visit has been amazing! The quality of the food is always outstanding, and I really appreciate how well they cater to dietary requirements — it makes dining out so easy and enjoyable. The drinks are also fantastic. Definitely one of my favourite spots!

We were warmly greeted by staff on a drizzly early evening just in time for the end of happy hour. We loved the Classic Margarita and Margarita Classic Mocktail, the sky views from level 1, and the free avian dusk murmuration show! We enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Tostada, BBQ Corn Ribs, Patatas, Angus Rib Eye with Chimmichurri jus, Flash Fried Balmain Bug* taco, and the special chocolate churro Creme brûlée. *Balmain Bug not available, prawn substitute. The service staff were exceptional! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Having enjoyed my first visit to this vibrant restaurant, I couldn't resist being immersed in the intoxicating blend of South American flavors and lively Latino vibe. The ambiance was just as inviting and relaxed, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable dining experience. I immediately ordered the beef short rib once more, as the rich flavors had lingered delightfully in my memory since my last visit. The meat was succulent and practically fell off the bone, bursting with savory goodness that danced on my palate. Each bite was a testament to the chef's expertise, showcasing how expertly the flavors meld together to create something truly special. Alongside the short rib, I indulged in the BBQ corn ribs, which was seasoned to perfection. The smoky sweetness complemented the savory dish beautifully. I also tried the Patatas, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, providing a delightful contrast of textures that I couldn’t get enough of. To round off this flavor-packed experience, I treated myself to the espresso Basque cheesecake. Silky smooth, it struck the perfect balance—not overly sweet but rich enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. The hint of espresso added an unexpected twist that elevated the dessert to a whole new level. Dining here for the second time reinforced my love for this incredible culinary haven. Each dish brought back fond memories while introducing me to even more tantalizing flavors. I left feeling completely satisfied and already eager for my next visit to explore more of their delightful offerings!

It’s a wonderful thing when excellent food is served by friendly staff in a room that is inviting and welcoming. This was our second visit here and won’t be our last. The food was very well prepared and delicious to eat. Flavours are well balanced and no dish disappointed. The cabbage salad is a dish I could eat anytime, just superb and the pork and scallop entree was an example of how great parings can have a synergy effect of flavours. Can’t wait for a third visit.

We had booked this place for dinner for my wife’s 60th birthday and glad we chose Chica Chica. The restaurant had a nice feel about it and the location was excellent as we stayed across the road from it. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place as they serve excellent cocktails too. To all the staff thank you for a lovely night.

First impressions of the venue itself was great. Very bright and airy. The service was excellent and extremely friendly. What let this experience down was the portion sizes of the dishes. We ordered the short rib and that’s pretty much what you got. ONE short rib with FOUR pieces of broccolini (undercooked) for $42. The popcorn chicken seemed like an entree more than anything and quite stingy with the salsa. Had the $10 classic margarita but I got more ice than beverage. Although the dishes were delicious, it was extremely overpriced. There was some fine print Ts and Cs’ for their Wednesday special which was ‘kids eat free’ but only if an adult ordered a large plate meal. One large plate meal = one kids meal. I wouldn’t recommend or come back again.
