Where to Find the Best Craft Beer, Breweries, and Taprooms in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"One of the city’s oldest brewpubs dating back to 2000, this Chicago-themed venue serving the nearby Summerlin, Lakes, and Peccole Ranch residential areas has a striking neon sign perched on the side and front of its building modeled after the ones outside the Chicago Theater on State Street. Longtime favorites here are the Old Town Brown Ale and easy-drinking All Nighter Golden Ale. A full kitchen serves 24-hour breakfast, Chicago-style pizza, burgers, and sandwiches. There’s also a satellite pub at the Four Queens at the Fremont Street Experience." - Bob Barnes

Hidden gem! The in house draft beers are so good! The food is second to none! After 4pm they open second and roof top for cigar lounge. Fast and friendly customer service. We had spinach and artichoke dip and it was way more than 2 people could eat!

Anthony

Google
Place was legit, everything we got was prepared really almost perfect, everything was seasoned good had a very Chicago like taste. The tap beer was really good. We got the breakfast croissant with sausage and home fries as an appetizer, had a few beers than we split the Chicago deep dish and a Chicago style dog. Our friends at the table got the cheese curds. Everything was amazing. We got the meatballs on the deep dish because I heard they were amazing, and they were probably the best meatballs I’ve had in a long time, really happy we went here today for brunch will def go back.

Been here quite a few times over the years. Decent beer and drink selection. Good food. Turkey melt and the garlic knots were both great. One weird thing is you can't get the happy hour specials in the gaming bar?? What's with that?? Nice bartenders and good food! Machines can be nice!

Holly Crosby

Google
Delicious Philly cheese steak sandwich. Great atmosphere on the beer garden. Listened to Fernando play guitar and sing everything from country to rock. Hits from the 70s and current music as well. Service was outstanding. The inside didn't seem like it was very fun but the outside patio was awesome. Got to be there during good weather obviously.

Google
I come here yearly now to meet one of my friends who lives up in this corner. Great atmosphere, good music and wonderful service. Today the person I was meeting is having me come to her house instead, but I figured since I'd planned to go to my favorite brewery to eat, I would enjoy. I don't drink much anymore, do I don't go anywhere for that right now, but I have fond memories of drinking here in the bar sections here! Great place to visit any time of day! Sheesh, one meatball makes a whole meal! 😉

Went in for a late lunch on a Saturday and were acknowledged immediately. Excellent beer selection and fresh pub food. Nothing tasted frozen or premade. Will definitely be frequent visitors! Photos are of the Windy City deep dish pizza and the fish & chips.

Google
We stopped in for a quick bite and I had ordered the Philly cheesesteak as it was recommended via the server. Unfortunately, it was very dry and lacked flavor. My wife had the sliders, which were quite good, but the sweet potato fries were also lacking in flavor.

Google
Best pot roast outside grandma's house. The gaming was good, not great but it is Vegas so luck of the draw. Bartenders were nice and atmosphere was upscale. But the food 🤤. We started with the cheese curds which were next level, and we get cheese curds everywhere. SO got the fried chicken sandwich, juicy and crispy but could use some seasoning. I added salt but he said Bacon would be a good add. I got the pot roast. I didn't even get a picture because by the time I took my first bite, there was no stopping. Juicy, falling part on the fork, full of flavor. The veggies were covered in parm and the potatoes tasted fresh not dehydrated. Will 100% go back for this meal.

Yelp
I don't often feel compelled to share a review for a restaurant. Add to that, at least for me, the complexity of being a brewery, for which I have high standards, and this is a unicorn review. I've been here before, but don't recall it as being extraordinary. That changed tonight. We were greeted by Robert - a host who clearly enjoys people and his job. He was attentive, engaging, jovial and just a nice guy. Maybe even over the top for some, but for my daughter and I, he was perfect. I ordered and beer; her a soda, and we commented on the lack of cider options. Robert delivered my beer (more on this in a minute) and then produced a number of cider options available in cans. One of them fit her taste and she was quite pleased with it. He joked with her about "hiding the evidence" when the can was emptied. The Hardway IPA was better than I remembered. Less "woody" than many house IPAs, with a clean finish and decent hops. Nothing spectacular, but really drinkable. So much so that I had three pints. Our food arrived quickly. First up: Meatball starter. Holy cow. Three large meatballs covered in sauce and topped with lots of mozzarella cheese. These were delicious! We joked that it was a meal by itself. It truly could be. You'd best be sharing this with two or more people if you want it as an appetizer. She ordered a Chicago hot dog. She complimented the soft bun, the fixings and flavor. She couldn't finish it. I ordered a small deep dish combination pizza. Robert warned me that it was a comma inducing pizza. I didn't listen. He was almost right, but had I eaten more than one piece he would have been sweeping me out the door (see three pints reference above). We asked for boxes, finished my beer, packed up leftovers for the next two days and swore to come back next time I'm in town. We spent about $100 for the two of us (I had to tip Robert well) and feel it was worth it. We missed happy hour, but the beer didn't disappoint. I'll be back when I visit (which is at least quarterly) and will be sure to come with an appetite. Overall, super happy with our choice and even happier that I wasn't swayed away by some less optimistic reviews on the inter webs. Disclaimer: I am not a food critic. This may be average food. It satisfied me and my daughter at the time. I was probably really hungry. I also pre-loaded on the beers, so they may have only been good. My opinion is worth about as much as you just paid for it

Yelp
Food was ok. The outdoor patio was cute and the upstairs bar was a vibe but the food was not impressive. The pizza was a typical thin crust margarita pizza. It got cold really fast (probably because it was a thin crust so it was hard to eat the entire pizza once it got cold. The wings were disappointing. I ordered 2 wet sauces so I understand that affects the crispness but their batter was not crispy at all. The sauces had good flavor.

Yelp
I used to really like the Italian beef but on this visit, the meat was like lunch meat, not seasoned, and tasteless. The cheese curds were good as usual and the breakfast was good. The service was just ok. Our server disappeared a lot and when you asked for something it took a long time until he came back. I'll definitely go back but won't put my heart and soul into the Italian beef anymore. It definitely changed.

Yelp
I was here for the root beer. They have several locations in town; this one seemed less busy and more accessible. Easy to find, plenty of parking, not busy on a Saturday afternoon. Pulled me a glass of root beer happily. Unfortunately put ice in, but I drank it quickly so it didn't get diluted much. It was a fine root beer, nothing special. Woody and cozy inside, but not too dark. Service was great. Price for that was good. Beers seemed interesting, and they have a good food menu. I'd come back.

Yelp
I truly enjoyed the service here and this is a great Place to meet for a game. A lot of TVs, they even have a gambling section where you can smoke and a lounge type atmosphere on the 2nd floor. The food was OK, typical bar food. I'd say the best thing were the fries and wings and the worst was the pizza .
google avatar

Yelp
Important Note: You have to be 21 years of age to enter this facility. It's interesting that this facility has two dining rooms. Each room has its own bar. The difference is the back room has electronic gaming. I heard smoking is allowed in the gaming room, as well. I ate lunch at the bar (non-gaming room). The bartender / server provided good service, with appropriate check-ins without being intrusive. She was also helpful. Eating alone, I asked if this restaurant made individual sized pizzas. She explained my options. I selected the 9" Magnificent Mile Meat Lovers deep dish ($22.00). During my visit, I consumed two Hardway IPAs ($14.00). With tax ($3.00), my ticket was $39.00 before gratuity. Know that thin crust pizza is available, too. I feel that my pizza had a tad too much sauce, allowing the toppings to easily slip off the slice. But the sauce did have a good taste. The pizza crust had good taste and texture. The size of the 9" pizza is appropriate for a single diner. It can also serve as a sharable. All in all, it was a good pizza.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem at the 4 queens. The food was really good and the service was great! We ended up ordering the cheese sticks and quesadilla along with that Chicago deep dish pizza. The restaurant sits just above the casino floor level so it overlooks it. They offer a smoking side and a non smoking side. They have a full bar, the drinks were ok. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant and will definitely come back for appetizers at least!

Yelp
We came here last night after a long trip back from Death Valley. I love that their kitchen was open so late. I ordered the watermelon caprese and I really liked it. It was light and fresh which is what I wanted since it was so late. It was nice that we didn't have to pay for drinks since we were gambling as well.

Yelp
Always good here at the CBC. I only get to come once a year to meet a friend, but it's always good. Was a great place to hang when I was younger, for sure. Caitlin took care of me well. Great service.

Yelp
This is a fantastic local bar experience! We had a fantastic server who took care of everything, I didn't get her name but she had a brunette ponytail and was wonderful! We went during happy hour and I had a great margarita for half off, and we shared chips and salsa and each had a breakfast entree. This is probably my favorite chicken fried chicken I've had in Vegas, and I'd definitely suggest coming in for their all day breakfast but also everything else! The bar is large and spacious and 24 hours, and they seem to have something for everyone on the menu. definitely give them a try next time you're in summerlin!

Yelp
I really enjoy this place! Friendly staff, good food and the BEST craft beer in Las Vegas!!! I also like that you can take home a growler of their brew! Cheers

Yelp
Week later still smells. Try and fix the smell. It's very off putting. Plus Hire some other manager who actually cares if customers want to come back . He doesn't care if you have been waiting on the bad service he just sits there and stares awkwardly.
google avatar

Samuel M.

Yelp
Serivce sucked tonight . My server just sat around at the other side. I cannot stand the horrible service here. I come here a lot. But they obviously do not care about taking care of you. The bar waitress did not stop talking to this lady. I did not want to interrupt her obvious engaging person. I am a diabetic and I needed food. I had to leave and go somewhere else to eat.

Yelp
We were looking for a bar to see the Cubs game. There were other options, but we thought since they had Chicago in their name it would be a great choice. This is a Chicago bar. We went today to see the Cubs game and were very disappointed that they didn't play the audio. They also had no specials for the NLDS game. They could do so much better to promote the game and fill the place. We were told it was up to the manager to play the sound for the Cubs game. The food was decent and the service was good. Just wish we had gone somewhere else to watch the game.

Yelp
Mood: Late night Pizza This place is pretty cool. Overall for sure a place where beer & pizza make the perfect meal! Service is decent- went during a busy time so waiting was a given & that won't stop me from going again. On Site Brewery!!!!! Love local choices & beers on tap from in house. Treats: Sausage & Pepperoni deep dish 8/10: very juicy red sauce which I enjoy with crispy edges on the crust. The meat oddly was semi cold- not sure how it happened but it did. Still was a good size pie too Chili bowl 8/10: good beans in the chili. Really tasty just lacked some seasoning. Nice portion and topped with cheese and sour cream. Beers: of course it's personal choice on flavor hardaway Ipa 10/10 Sun down stout 10/10 Old Town Brown 9/10 All nighter 9/10

Hello Alove R.

Yelp
We usually love this spot! But our last visit was just ok. The bartender was great no complaints , but food lacked this time around (beef sandwich) Also the server was so loud talking to the cooks behind us which is great to have a good team that gets along but their absurd conversations were so annoying! And loud , we could hardly hear each other talk bc of their conversation

Yelp
I had wanted to visit this 24-hour brewery and eatery for some time. Finally, with Diane in tow for dinner, I accomplished this task. All tables but one were high tops, and we were seated right next to a beer fermentation tank. We began with an expansive app of Beer Battered Cheese Curds which were filled with cheese and simply excellent. Then I ordered a bowl of somewhat spicy Chipotle Chili, which was cheesy, included Kidney Beans, and rates among my favorite chilis of all time. For entrees Diane had Fish N' Chips, which were beer battered and contained Cod. One baton was cooked just right, but the remaining two were undercooked. On the other hand, my Pot Roast, served with a mixture of Green Beans and Waxed Beans, and great Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, was cooked perfectly. An included roll was just okay. Food was hot, service was good, and I quickly received whatever I asked for, like butter for the roll. I plan to be back soon to try other comfort food offerings.

Yelp
Loved coming here! This was my go to place after work for great beer and really good gaming and bar food. Lauren is amazing and Vinny is ALWAYS great behind the bar and so are the other workers. The problem with this place is I've never asked for a manager and the one time after 50+ times coming here I have a simple food request and TANYA couldnt make a simple alteration to a menu item. It's very disappointing and it makes me not want to come back to one of my favorite places. When you know everyone else and your first encounter with the manager who doesnt care it makes you feel bad. I give this place 5 stars for the servers, 5 stars for food quality and a 0 for Tanya. I hope the ownership is aware.

Yelp
Tonya is a triple thumbs down. We went to this location because we have been there many times to enjoy a few beers and some nachos with the bartender and servers always being top notch. Today we went to watch the local team in the WNBA (Las Vegas Aces) playoff game and at halftime the bartender told us that Tonya said all the tvs (7 in the dining room) would be changed to the Bears game (not the Raiders whom they were playing). There were 7 Chicago fans in the dining room, more than seven fans watching the Aces, Ryders Cup, 49ers, and the Rams Luckily, we had a server with some balls, Rylee you are a rock star, if you decide to go here ask for her, she stood up to the dumbass Tonya that wanted to change all televisions to the "Bears" game(do you know you live in Vegas?). I am all for supporting the sports but if you truly are a sports bar and want to support customers don't be an idiot like Tonya and say stupid things like we have to support the NFL because we advertise to support that. Do you know the Aces are owned by Mark Davis who owns the Raiders? Tonya's choices were selfish, ridiculous, and arrogant. Maybe you would have more of a crowd on the weekend if you take care of all your customers. Ended up having a great time because Rylee stood up to the ridiculous choices of Tonya. We got to watch the Aces game and our table partners ended up watching the Ryders cup. We all got what we wanted in the end except the awful choices of Tonya. Way to take care of your customers Rylee and the bartender. Nachos, pizza and beer were yummy. Rylee provided excellent service. Tonya is an awful decision maker and doesn't understand servicing the customer, my recommendation would be to tell Tonya to find another vocation since you don't understand customer service and she never dared even come to our table to tell us what was going to happen, do not be a wimp and have others do you stupid choices, take care of your people as a leader. Aces didn't win but we enjoyed our time in the end because of Rylee!

Yelp
Love having a cigar upstairs. Boneless wings are good, beer is good and ice cold, Went here for lunch with the kids for Father's Day too. Good burger, onion rings, sliders. Fun to take a picture in the giant chair with the kids!

Yelp
Feeling very to lucky to live right next to this place, it's a great place to catch a game and drink a microbrew.

Yelp
I've had a lot of pretzels and I can say that this place has the best pretzel in Vegas!! The atmosphere is great in here!! I always win and DAD always takes care of us definitely a hidden gem and the place to gamble/eat 12/10!!!

Yelp
Great food, and great staff, no politics involved like amore pizza on durango.GREAT LOCATION

Yelp
Came in on a random Wednesday night looking for dinner options and was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. It was a pretty slow night, but our server Luzi was absolutely phenomenal. She was very attentive and super nice! The food was delicious as well as the margaritas! Will definitely come back, especially since they are open 24 hours!
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
I am scheduled to have a tooth extracted nearly and came here for my "last meal!" Fish and Chips! The cod was moist and the batter crispy. The potato dippers are hybrid skins and chips. Definitely delicious. And the tarter sauce is the right sweet and sour! The service was great and my order came piping hot. I'll be back again!

Pam M.

Yelp
The service & food were outstanding. Above & beyond the call for excellence. We are visiting from LA & wanted a brew so we found Chicago Brewing. My husband is the beer connoisseur that likes IPA's & good desert beer. He was impressed. Me, I like wine & they had a good selection (for a brewery). What service from Master Yoda, Robert & Jessie. They all contributed to an awesome time. It was so much fun on Friday night, we returned the next evening to help celebrate their 25th anniversary. The food is fresh & large portions. Master Yoda (grt nickname for him) explained all the food & made grt suggestions. When in town, we'll be back!!! CHEERS!!
google avatar

Sprinkles M.

Yelp
Food was average. Waitress had attitudes galore. Met my party for happy hour here some of which had already ordered food & were eating. Waited patiently for the wait staff to come take my order for food & drink. Finally after 15 minutes I had to flag someone down & it was met with hostility. Even after they sww me walk in &nsit with my party. I watched the waitress purposely take routes to other tables to avoid ours. I honestly don't know what people see in this place. Been 3 times in 18 years I've lived here & have never onve had a good experience.
google avatar

Leeza M.

Yelp
The beer was awesome! Our server was The Master Yoda he was amazing! He will teach you the way of the Brews come see him!

Yelp
Just tried this spot and have to say, the beer and food selection was top notch! The restaurant has a great ambiance. Our server, "Master Yoda" was fantastic. Definitely will try this spot again!

Yelp
My wife and I were helping a friend on that side of town, when we were mesmerized by the giant Chicago sign, we just had to stop in and have a drink. The inside is amazing We great lighting sports memorabilia and I love brick walls the vibe is truly of an upscale sports bar. We started with some rounds my wife got her usual tequila and club soda with a salted rim, our friend got a Cadillac margarita, and I got the beer flight. I'm not going to go to into details because I'm am by no means a beer expert but I did like 3 of the 4 I just can't remember the names right now. The food was everything, the fried were fresh crunchy and hot, I recommend that they should add salt to them but they were good. we also got potato dippers with the cheese steak that are more like wedges which I liked more than the regular fries. The artichoke dip was amazing and full of flavor just look at the cheese pull! I'm not a chicken tender guy I prefer wings but these were fresh crunchy and just fresh. The quesadillas is good has a chili taste, the steak is tender and I'd definitely be ordering this again. The best thing I ordered by far was the cheese steak , it all starts with the bread a soft roll with a crunch on the outside omg.. tender and flavorful onions and peppers to compliment the tender flavorful steak. The service was good I don't remember our servers name but he had a Mohawk and was pretty cool we seated ourselves and the and drinks came fast they also offer military discount so veterans this is a good place to go. All in all good vibes, good drinks, great food we will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
I knew I wanted to visit this spot when in Vegas and we ended up hitting it at 8am on a Wednesday morning. It is on the outskirts of the heart of the strip/city but there is one on Fremont somewhere? Got to try many different in-house brews. Everything I tried was great, there's little poker machines at every seat around the bar. Obviously the dining area was closed that early but we were welcomed to the bar. Decided to get onion rings for a snack and oh my goodness is my only description for them. These onion rings are the biggest onion rings I've ever seen, this picture does no justice. They were incredibly good too, and they had a spicy ranch I think it was that was also very tasty. Cousin and I stayed for like an hour and we still took quite a few rings to go. That's how big the portion was, the bartender was cool and talked to us and everything. I really enjoyed this spot and I would definitely recommend it and be back for more amazing beers and different things to eat.
google avatar

Ashley A.

Yelp
LOVE their pot roast & mashed potatoes!! So good! Their house made root beer is delicious! Service is normally good but when the older guy with long hair is working he's not friendly. Nice clean ambiance on the dining side.

April E.

Yelp
Please tell me this was amateur night. I've been coming here on and off having lived in the valley for 30 years now. These guys serve me a deep dish pizza, which they put on the table without serving and without like a standing tray underneath, saying it's really really hot and I tried to serve it to myself and it flipped on my husband's hand and the server was like oh sorry. As well, everything is seriously microwaved there. Not a big choice of drinks. Meanwhile less than a mile away is Giordanos who does this on a class act level. Anybody who has ever served deep dish pizza and especially in the Chicago area knows to serve the first slice that is called customer service. Waitress was hiding in the bathroom and she literally scared the shit out of me. Last time there other amazing local choices in Vegas. Good luck you guys I don't see you're staying in business that long unless you're just trying to capitalize on the people that stay in the motel across the parking lot west.
google avatar

Yelp
Just dropped by for a drink so I can't comment to the food but WOW the atmosphere is off the charts! Plenty of screens for watching your favorite sports. The staff was super friendly and always making sure we had everything we needed. There was a cool silent auction for Chicago sports memorabilia. I wish this place was in my neighborhood so I could come here every night. I can vouch for the beer menu and say that I loved the house IPA.

Yelp
260 breweries for me! This will be a pretty quick review. I was in Vegas for a few days on business and my buddy drove up to meet me. We figured beer and pizza was in order for lunch so Chicago Brewing was it. I got myself a flight of Hardway IPA, Ramblin' Reck hoppy amber, Old Town Brown, and Sundown Irish stout. All were good and I revisited the brown ale to go with the deep dish pizza I ordered. The pizza was good but could have used more toppings. My buddy went with sliders which were really good. Good beer and good food with a great atmosphere. If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you! I hope my confidence is not misplaced.

Maureen D S.

Yelp
We enjoy Chicago brewing as one of our favorite spots in Summerlin, Las Vegas. Great food, excellent craft beers. Service is friendly and efficient.. we always bring our out of town guests here, its such a fun, clean place..Yoda and crew make a customer feel right at home.. Great happy hour too. See you soon

Yelp
Was here yesterday for the first time around noon. Sat at the bar in the non-smoking section. The service was great. The waitress working was friendly and helpful when it came to ordering food and beer samples. It was not busy and our drinks and food came out in a timely manner. Had chilli and cheese curds, they were both delicious!
google avatar

Kathy R.

Yelp
We only had chips and salsa. But, that was good. There was also lots of great menu items for happy hour! Running errands one day came across this cute looking brewery. It's Chicago our old home. The beer was great! The ladies working there are awesome. They give you suggestions on what to eat or drink. Ladies are super friendly & respectful. I will definitely be back. If I ever crave some deep dish or Italian beef or even that Chicago style hotdog! The brewery itself has a great vibe and cool Chicago design & feel. I give them 2 thumbs up!

Jim B.

Yelp
Was up at the cigar lounge and I did not get any service at all. Like I was invisible. Friday night 5/30.
google avatar

Sarin P.

Yelp
Service really sucks but the beers are tasty. I appreciate that they have what seemed like a smokers vs non-smokers section.

C B.

Yelp
Sat at the bar at noon service was outstanding. Lunch was solid solid many choices. Definitely go again.

Jarrod S.

Yelp
The food and beers were amazing. Service was on point and very friendly. You really felt that you were in old Chicago. Great brewery!

Yelp
Stopped by randomly for breakfast and football. Great bar for Sunday games. The manager (didn't catch her name) couldn't have been more pleasant, accommodating and professional. We had the breakfast burrito and fried chicken with country gravy - both were excellent.

Patricia W.

Yelp
Cousin Vinny is hands down the best bartender I've had in years! Thanks for the excellent service!

Gomer P.

Yelp
We walked in and were immediately hit by a plume of stinky cigarette smoke - it was bad. We all turned around and went somewhere else. Yuck. Won't be back.

Yelp
Got a ham calzone and meatball appetizer. Both were great. Chicago has great home brewed beers as well. Great service at this establishment.

Yelp
Love this place, best pizza and brewery. Met my wife here over 25 years ago, so they must be doing something pretty good. The Hef beer is my go to. They even made a limited edition Hef beef a few weeks ago. Really good! And can take a jug home!! They have 3 separate bars, sorry no kids here any longer. Always consistently good!! (BTW - we eat here every 3 weeks or so)
