Chicago Lawn Harold's Chicken #17

New night manager is rude blocked my number from calling the store I ordered food to feed my kids and online the options are different from her poor excuse for messing up my order why give me bland chicken then claim it’s a charge for sauce on the side not on the chicken I have a toddler that doesn’t like sauce on his food how is one cup of sauce enough for a 24 piece and fries then she claimed they are not able to add lemon pepper on the side in app it said free but I got up charge for one sauce. Mind you this is my 10th time eating at this one will not order from here again chicken didn’t look like it normally does either highly frustrated

It was great and the $2 chicken only on Tuesday and $1.50 on Wednesday is great for everybody in need of some good fried chicken! So your and fresh made to order! Right on time!

One of my favorite Harold’s! I’ve never had an issue ordering ahead and picking up. The food has been consistent…except the okra. Please change be back to the original okra. Thank you to the staff for being great always!

While the employees will definitely give you the vibe of not wanting to be there the food will speak for itself and if you are from Chicago this location is a 10 minute car ride from midway airport and is prefect for those long layovers to grab a quick bite

This is in one of the poorest neighborhoods I went in there to get some french fries and coleslaw which cost $8 had to wait 25 minutes for that then I never even got the coleslaw the young girls in their really don't know what they're doing. I would never go back. This is Definitely Mot the old school Harold's Chicken.

Today was my first time here and I must say that the food was good, hot, fresh, and the service was speedy! They give you a nice amount of fries, one piece of bread, and cole slaw upon request. Definitely will go back and the inside was clean of you wanted to eat in there! Parking is hard to get since it's other businesses in that small area!

I was missing food and the utensils. The napkins I asked for I was just missing my lemonade pub my coleslaw shrimp all I got was chicken and french fries and they don’t want to refund me.

I just landed at Chicago Midway Airport, and I'm hungry. I'm a native of Chicago, and I know where to find the eats. These wings were on point. Enough said. 🍗

Definitely not fresh. It's weird because I ordered online via Uber and waited. I guess they fried the shrimp when ordered but not for long. The chicken strips were warm but the coating makes it look like fish while the fries are old. Young lady salted the heck out of the plate and didn't read Sauce ob the Side so no side of sauce for the shrimp. C'est la vié. Drive thru is not functioning. Must walk in. Location and offers work but quality control is needed. Both were polite.

I visited Harold's on the suggestion of a family member and they told me that all locations were not the same. You greeted by plexiglass separating you from the staff, which I am assuming is due to the area that it's in. Although the food smells as if it's fresh, it did not taste as such. The chicken wings were just OK. The fish was an edible and blackened possibly by old grease. The establishment did appear to be somewhat clean, but I wouldn't recommend getting food from here in the future. The okra was pretty OK, but it could've been fried harder.

This location is a shabby store front. They should clean it up a little. I ordered perch. I have had their that's a different review. I have never served worse food than this! When I ordered it, the cashier told someone to cook it. I thought it would be freshly and properly cooked. lol lol lol. Man, was I wrong. I only drove 5 minutes before I TRIED to eat this. The color was a little too dark, I thought. I cut into the 1st piece, the entire coating crumbled. The breading on the fish was so hard and OVER cooked I couldn't eat it! Look at 1 of my pics you will see the crust that was super hard and that just fell off. The fish was black on the inside, see the other Pic. I was hungry and couldn't take it back. The fries, SALT, They were so salty I had to take them 1 at a time and wipe off as much of the salt as I could. It was also obvious they didn't give me fresh cooked fries, they gave me fries that had been sitting. I tried to eat them. You just can't eat something, i.e., fries that are more salt than potatoes. Again, this was the worst take out I ever got. For 3 pieces of fish it was $10. To me that was to expensive to start. It was outrageous for the over cooked over salted trash they served me. I wouldn't have a dog eat this trash. If I could have given them 1/2 a star I would have. Avoid this place. Avoid this place!

They don't even deserve one star they have people go in to train and don't PAYY the customer service is bad and there is only one person serving DO NOT RECOMMEND

Terrible....Always getting orders wrong and today they got mad because it was a roach in the restaurant and when ppl said something they closed up early. ..They need to closed for good

The fact that they forgot my 16 oz mild sauce & when you order a 4 wings, its supposed to come with fries, bread, & coleslaw and they forgot the fries, bread, & coleslaw on both my 4 wings orders.
