One of the best terminals I've been at. This airport has alot of engineering thought behind it. Everything seems to be put together as if the future is being considered, everytime Chicago adds onto this airport it functions 1000% better than before. It's actually uncanny how well they are doing putting this airport together. Their goal: it's to get as many flights in and many flights out safely. The way they have it set up is like a well oiled machine!!! It's fun visiting this Airport.....my money is on Chicago over taking Atlanta in less than 20 years.....it's going to boil down too which airport is expanding the fastest while still maintaining its current load of customers without any interruptions to their flights. Keep it up chicago!!!

Chicago O'hare Airport Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently had the pleasure of traveling through Chicago O'hare Airport, and overall, it was a good experience worthy of four stars. It was kinda crowded especially when we tried to find food or somewhere to grab a bite to eat. Navigating the airport was pretty easy, thanks to the well-signposted directions and clear layout. Whether you're a seasoned traveler or a first-timer, you'll find your way around with minimal hassle. There was a minimal variety of food options available. From quick bites to sit-down meals, there's something to satisfy every palate. The food courts were clean, and the service was prompt, making for a pleasant dining experience amidst the hustle and bustle of the airport. The staff were courteous and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries. Security checks were efficient, ensuring a smooth process without long waits. The seating areas were comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained. In summary, Chicago O'hare Airport provides a seamless travel experience with its easy navigation, diverse food options, and excellent service. It’s a solid choice for anyone flying through Chicago.

Prior to traveling from Terminal 5, I read reviews and heard many stories that made me anxious prior to flying since people said there were delays. I ensured to be extra early which wasn’t actually necessary, though if you want to breeze through security then I do suggest being first in your check-in line as well as pre-check bags if possible. I did this and was the only one in the security line. This terminal is otherwise chaotic and has too many people for a small space (construction it seems). Don’t expect to find a seat, there are barely any. Returning from my trip was a nightmare; once through immigration the baggage claim area had at least 6 other large flights come in at the same time, it was extremely crowded and disorganized and my flight’s information was not on any board. Upon asking staff for help, they brushed me off with “uhhh I dunno, go ask someone else” which I did and the next person just told me the boards would be updated eventually for baggage. They never were. I had to walk around this huge crowded area to find out that my flights baggage was already being offloaded from a carousel that wasn’t even marked, and they never had a notice of it anywhere. They also had it cordoned off so I couldn’t even get to my baggage as they had multiple flights on one carousel. It was equally as impossible to find a good place for my ride to stop and pick me up as the roads were packed as well, presumably everyone waiting due to the chaos inside that delayed a lot of people. Overall, if you need to use this airport, don’t worry you’ll make it in and out just fine, just pack a lot of patience and don’t expect friendly TSA staff (airline staff are great).

O'hare got us there and back home safely. I haven't been here for over 30 years. I AM a MIDWAY girl. Airports are busy, I understand this. This airport was confusing, the signs were not clear, what, when, where, how's. The scenic train was the best part, once we asked several workers how to get to our rideshare. The bathrooms were not cleaned. Again we made it where we needed to be. Safe travels ✌🏾

Yelp
Yesterday I checked the "MyTSA" app to see what the approximate wait time for Terminal 5 might be. The app said 20-30 minutes. NOPE! It was a whopping 90 MINUTE wait. Ridiculous. When we the taxpayers pour billions of dollars into Homeland Security every year, you would think they might just upgrade airport security and hire enough personnel to do the job in an efficient manner. The line snaked all the way out into the ticketing area, maybe out into the outside luggage check-in area. They insisted we wait in three parallel lines at that point. However, by the time you get to the counters, it merges from three lines into one, with people crammed like sardines and no ventilation. As anyone with a functioning brain might expect, people get aggressive in that situation, jockeying for position. Not sure who designed this mess but it is fairly absurd. When we got to the front we could see that several scanning stations were empty. If it was because machinery broke down, they should fix the machines. If it's because they don't have enough personnel, they need to hire more. This is the wealthiest nation in the history of the world. Yet if you go to any so-called "third world" nation, their airport security is run more professionally than this. What an embarrassment.

Yelp
I didn't hear the TSA officer in the crowded line, and apparently that makes me stupid. Absolutely rude service after waiting nearly an hour, and almost missing our flight. Rude as fu#k. 0 stars if possible. Do Not talk to me like that again!

Yelp
What a horrible experience! No respect and treating people like they and sub human. Whatever happened to smiling and politeness ? None ! Left Chicago on a very bad note !

Yelp
confiscated a solid bar of soap from me because it "looked like a cream which isn't allowed" well its not a cream it is solid... we are allowed bars of soap on an airplane shockingly enough because they are solid and not liquid or paste... maybe look for more than a second before deciding... rest assured america you can rest safe knowing that no bar of soap will fell this airplane thieving bastards

Yelp
No stars would have been better. I realize safety is of extreme importance but really........ must we be treated like subhuman souls??? It doesn't take much to smile and be civil during the procedure. A very rude man checked my passport and boarding pass, next a rather large unhappy lady snapped at me because I forgot I had a plastic toothpick in my pocket. Come on, if you hate your job so much-find another! Perhaps her manager should check out Palm Springs Airport TSA....he or she could learn about proper training.

Yelp
Outstanding officers and service ! Thank you for keeping air travel safe! I have flown out of here several times and have always had the most professionally and respectful officers. If people would just listen to the instructions given by the officer , people would get through faster without problems!

Yelp
Want a great way to wish international travelers farewell to Chicago? Don't send them here! Outrageous lines and lack of selection make T-5 an embarrassment to the City.
