Theeee most delicious tacos!!! So flavorful and portioned beautifully, we tried the braised pork, carne asada and the beer battered fish taco which was something different.. not my favorite but not terrible, to wash it all down had a michelada and the coconut horchata agua fresca was perfect for this heat today. The atmosphere was cute and vibrantly themed, definitely recommend this lil gem.

There are only 2 things you need to at Chica’s. The beer battered fish tacos and the chicken tacos are by far the best items on the menu. I’ve tried so many different things on this menu and I always come back these two. The beer battered fish tacos is perfectly fried with a delicious caesar salad on top. There’s also crispy breadcrumb bits that add very nicely to the texture as well. The chicken tacos have such good flavor and the chicken is never dry. The flavor on this taco never disappoints. I consider it a fancy chicken taco. **PRO TIP: order all your tacos with flour tortillas instead of corn. Absolute game changer

Google
Amazing street tacos that are well seasoned, although I would require 10 of these to let full. I got the chicken tacos, which had a slight kick to it, not too overwhelming. Excellent for a quick lunch pit stop or a casual dinner date. Service is very fast and friendly, cute outdoor patio. I'm a new fan.

Google
These were pretty great tacos! I love the location in Culver City, and the restaurant decor is absolutely beautiful. The concept of this place is really cute and they have some really cute merch to go with it! I love that they have vegan and vegetarian options, and I tried their impossible taco with their own tacos sauce and it was pretty good. Their steak and pork tacos are delicious, both meats are slow braised for over nine hours...And they had really good flavors in the tacos. I also really enjoyed their deep dish taco pizza as well as their chips, salsa, and guacamole. I think this is a great place to come and get get Tacos and drinks with your friends on a night out, and it's also a great family spot too. MUST ORDER! Coconut Cream Horchata

Google
We ordered four different tacos and they were good but nothing special. We also ordered a kids menu and this is the reason for my 3⭐ review. There is a lot of room for improvement. The kids taco was just a taco shell and meat and salad on the side (this was one of the options, the other one was rice and beans). But compared to our tacos it doesn't look tasty at all.

Google
The tacos are very tasty and they’re loaded. The margaritas are delicious and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The place decorated so well with such a happy vibe both indoors and out. This is a great place for a taco and a friend!

Google
What a great spot!!! This restaurant is perfect for a date night, dinner with friends or a quick stop with the family. They have an authentic Mexican menu with a fun flaire. So many healthy options including a plant based queso that's out of this world. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. They accept cash and card. Indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is close by on the street or parking lot across the street. They offer a plant based menu and healthy drink options! Definitely a must if you are in the area and looking for food that's unique, healthy, and tasty at a fair price!

Yelp
Saw a Yelper state in their review that "eating here was like drinking in a Chipotle." Though that is hilarious, that is most definitely not the case here. First off, Chicas Tacos puts A LOT of work into their exterior storefront and interior decorations. The aesthetic is a vibe worth catching. The menu was curated by the founder, Chef Eduardo Ruiz, who is known for his 20 ingredient Caesar salad dressing and multi day slow-braised marinated barbacoa. Chipotle has no game in this arena. Do better yelpers. Staff was cute, friendly, and attentive. Menu was on-point with plenty of options to select from--seafood and plant-based options too! YAY! Condiments took my tastebuds to the sauna. Hot, Hawt, Hotttt. But I love a good burn. It's the only toxic relationship that I allow these days. #abettertaco is their Instagram hashtag

Yelp
I really want to like this place but it's hit or miss. Upside: really enjoy the pork tacos and street corn. Excellent even via delivery. Cute seating area outside is especially nice with good weather and people watching. Meh: not a fan of the chicken (dry, not much flavor) or beef (too heavy for my stomach)

Yelp
The bright yellow umbrella tripped me in. It looks so festive and sunny to sit outside and enjoy a taco. I thought I was going to be great but sadly it didn't live up to my own hype. First of all the service was incredibly sour. I know it wasn't that busy yet, so I am surprise the service was not as happy yellow as the umbrella. I felt like we were treated as though we weren't paying customers. But I thought no worries the outside area and the great taco would put a smile on me. Turns out it could've been my mistake, but the nachos were completely hard, stuck together, super cold, and just filled with so much cheese in between. The only good thing on top was the Serrano chili. I held onto her like gold as that was the only pleasant item. The ground beef was actually good, but I wish the cheddar cheese on top was more melted. This certainly tasted like an Americanized hard shell taco that I could have made. Serrano saved my day. Overall not a great experience from service to food. But I'll star this place for the happy yellow umbrellas under the beautiful sunshine of Cali.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I walked in because of the decor and vibe of this place! So cute!! Food was really good, get any of the bowls, they are awesome! The only thing they could do better is presentation of the food. Service is pretty fast and they are kind. Will be coming back!

Yelp
I wanted to like this place but the value just isn't there for me. I'll give it to them that this is a convenient and quick option. I ordered through their online system for pick up and they were very on time with having it ready. The location is easy to find with seating in and out. But for over $4 for a single taco, this is steep. I get this isn't street tacos but what you get isn't impressive enough to justify. The braised beef is tender but not eye opening cause I can easily find other places with a much better value that are still very flavorful and doing a good job with making their tacos.

Yelp
Got exactly what I expected from Chicas!! As an order at the counter, California-Mexican style restaurant, the food is good (but not mind blowing), made quickly, and the menu has lots of options. I went for the tacos because it seemed like that was the go-to. The chicken was well cooked, and the shrimp taco had a seasoning which was really yummy. They gave us free chips and salsa as one of their promos, and overall I walked away very satisfied with the meal. I also noticed they had good looking margaritas on the menu, and the bowls seemed like they would also be a great options. Given how easy it was to get food quickly here, and how it seems like a dependable go to Mexican spot in culver, I will be back!

Yelp
Great affordable prices for quality!! Fish tacos were huge! They actually forgot to add the salsa so it tasted a bit off. Should have realized it! But all in all still delicious with a perfect crunch. Nachos were also fantastic with the different cheeses and spicyyy salsa. The scallions were a new thang I never thought tot try on loaded nachos but it compliments it very well. Parking: easy if you park at the huge plaza where sprouts is. Less than a 5-10 min walk. Otherwise streeet/metered parking and paid parking structures all over downtown

Yelp
What a cute place!! I was on my way to the airport and had plenty of time to kill and haven't had lunch yet. I came across this time while scrolling the area. I got the 2 tacos with chips n salsa along with a drink. I got the chicken and beef tacos and it was SO GOOD! It was light, healthy, love the clean proteins that they used. Low on the salt is amazing and their chips are just crispy and bomb! Definitely coming back again! Staff were friendly with a smile and they bring your food out to you. I love how clean the place is and the ambiance was just bright, airy and fun!

Yelp
This was my first time at Chica's. I was in the area working and wasn't feeling Mendocino Farms, I started walking to check out places I haven't tried yet and found myself entering Chica's. It's located in trendy downtown Culver City and across the street from the Culver Steps and nearby Amazon, Google, and Apple offices. Chica's itself is a very unique place which establishes a positive vibe. Femininity is celebrated here with pink décor and Mexican culture. Honestly, I love the vibe here. It represents a part of LA that rarely ever gets seen in a predominantly business class part of LA's westside. The food is very authentically Mexican. I didn't get to try everything on the menu but I did try their Shrimp and Jackfruit tacos and I must say it's tasted like the tacos I've had on my trip to Mazatlan back in 2015. It's something you would get at a roadside vendor at the beach if you were in Mexico--it's that good! The shrimp tacos grilled to perfection and not overcooked. The jackfruit tacos was my absolute favorite! It almost tasted like a shredded chicken taco but with more flavor and a little tang. I can eat 2 dozen of the jackfruit tacos and then eat more. So good! The service is good. Sometimes servers will bring your food to your table and sometimes you pick it up at the counter. It all depends on the person. Friendly staff. They're busy but they will take the time out from their task to assist you. The price is reasonable. For 2 tacos, chips and salsa, and a drink came out to $15 with tax. Most people will say it's pricey but we are in a period of inflation and businesses need to make coins to pay rent among other things, so I don't mind paying that much to help small businesses out. Positive vibes, good food, and friendly staff...it's a 5/5 for me!

Yelp
Excellent food. Everything we had was great! The location was good and the interior decor was pretty.
google avatar

Kristine G.

Yelp
The vibes are on point but honestly these tacos are not good or worth spending $5 in my opinion. You can buy tacos ALL over LA for less than $2 and they taste 10x better. I think this place is definitely lacking. For $5, I'd expect the steak to have flavor, onions and cilantro on top that tastes fresh, and even a double stacked shell since they're street tacos basically. Anyways, I think they this location (in a predominately white area) probably does well but I probably won't be back. If they have other locations I might humor myself and try them elsewhere to see if it's just this location. I will say, however, the location is so cute and the vibes are on point. I loved the staff and I loved sitting outside drinking and eating and enjoying some music that was playing down the block! So props to them for creating such a cool space!

Yelp
Man the taco was so dang good, I was juicy and flavorful. They even got jackfruit tacos. The service was cool and fast. Seating is tight on the inside but they have an outside patio. The location is in a cute little area with all kinds of shops and eatery's. Definitely the best Mexican food in this area. Prices are not outrageous. The salsa (hot) omg fireeeeee. Highly recommend. Go on a Tuesday and get tacos cheaper and they have a farmers market every Tuesday right next door. I recommend going on a Tuesday. Across the street from the studios so definitely gets crowded from 12pm-2pm . Good vibes tho.

Yelp
A run of the mill fast casual modern Mexican spot with a self-serve kiosk. The food was pretty average for expectations and its combos are moderately priced for a quick lunch. I personally wouldn't prefer this place if looking for a flavorful juice taco.
google avatar

Jason T.

Yelp
LA is the home of good tacos that can be found pretty affordably and then you have Chica's. I've tried Chica's on a few occasions and have never been blown away considering the price. It's certainly a little more expensive than your average taco, but always missing a little something. It does the job if you're in the area and want tacos, but Culver City alone has better options. It's a popular chain for a reason, but not for everyone I guess. I ordered the fish taco and the barbacoa. Compared to somewhere like Guisados, I think it lacked a bit of freshness and flavor. I think both felt a bit short of my expectations.
google avatar

Roger M.

Yelp
I love this place and the food but today I ordered 4 tacos for their $3 Taco Tuesday special assuming it was actually a special, but they brought out 4 tiny versions of their usual tacos. Truly an insane bait & switch and if i had known i would have just paid full price for the real adult human sized tacos.
google avatar

Yelp
In the midst of decision paralysis with so many food choices around, Chicas Tacos is always a safe bet. My favorite is their chicken taco and their crispy taco is also good if you're looking for some bite! What I really like here though is their plant based nachos. I felt like I was eating super decadent nachos without all the cheese and guilt, and they were so delicious. They also have a huge pepper on them, sliced radishes and cilantro! I ordered the 2 taco combo so I had to of course get a drink so I got the marg which came out to $5 and let me tell you it was well worth it. It was strong! So strong that we had to walk off our buzz after only making it halfway through our drinks. They tasted really good for being that potent so I'd definitely come back for it!
google avatar

Allen M.

Yelp
Decent drinks. Tacos weren't worth the price. Staff was nice. Felt like drinking in a chipotle.
google avatar

Kelly M.

Yelp
The shrimp and fish were my favorite tacos! The lettuce wraps are delicious but I wasn't a fan of the braised beef I got.
google avatar

Rebecca T.

Yelp
Was craving tacos, and I saw that Chicas Tacos was in the area, so I ordered the two-taco combo via delivery. It came fast, and I soon dug in! I ordered a beer-battered fish taco and a jackfruit taco, which came with chips (but weirdly no salsa??). The fish taco was crispy, but the fish itself tasted kind of old and mushy, which was a disappointment; it also had a sort of Caesar salad slaw on top, which I found strange and not really my thing. The jackfruit taco was just-okay, although I didn't taste much jackfruit inside (I think the restaurant skimped on it). Not the best tacos I've had, but they did the trick in the moment.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
I feel like this is one of those places that is okay in general, but bombbb if you know what to order. And so my latest recommendation: do not order the burrito here. Like it's fine, but you'd have a better burrito elsewhere. My personal recommendation is the Pork Belly taco - super fresh and unique and also delicious! You'll be happy that you got it - flavorful, crispy, and an interesting mix of flavors that also feels healthy at the same time (shoutout to the brussel sprouts). But also, if you're not feeling pork belly, would just highly recommend any of the tacos. After having tried the tacos, I think Chicas is more in line with the Guisados and Bee Taqueria kind of restaurants where they do like fancy, unique tacos and that wasn't clear to me from the start (hence going for the burritos) but tacos are definitely the way to to go here.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute, casual taco spot with healthy and vegan / dairy free options to substitute. We ordered different tacos to try them all. 7/10 tacos - Starting with the favorite, Jackfruit Taco was super flavorful and well seasoned. The fish taco was also really good and somehow didn't have too much oil. Chicken Taco was the let down, something about the dry vegan cheese and brittle taco shell didn't complement each other, it hurt my mouth biting into it. 10/10 Nachos - I ordered regular with no meat for the table to share and it came out looking like a full entree!! Each bite was drenched in cheese & habenero salsa , it wasn't spicy but the jalapeño on top definitely was. I liked alternating bites between the chips & the green onion they put as garnish. 8/10 vibes - super cute, they had miniature cactus and desert themed decor everywhere. Friendly staff that explained the vegan options & fast service.
google avatar

Meagan M.

Yelp
Chicas is a great casual place to go with your chicas for Mexican food & drinks, especially if they're vegan or vegetarian because they have so many dairy free & vegetarian options! I strongly recommend the vegan nachos & beef tacos. The tacos also come with a side of chips and salsa. For seating, they have plenty of both indoor & outdoor available. You order at the counter, seat yourself with a number, and they bring the food to you. The staff is super friendly, and the overall vibe is very cute.
google avatar

Kayla M.

Yelp
MY FAVORITE THING IS THE NACHOS. They are the best very cheesy and perfect amount of sauce on them. Heating them up don't even worry about the flavor not being there or it taste different, it holds its pallet the next day
google avatar

Thiri T.

Yelp
Umm okay, this is the type of place you go to on a rush, and not intentionally. The Mexican food here doesn't seem authentic at all, and the tacos were underwhelming. I LOVE vegan and veggie alternatives and prefer them over real meat, but their vegan crispy taco tasted like cardboard with sprinkles with napkin accented cheese. Their fish taco was also underwhelming, and the Romain lettuce topping was so questionable. Their nachos weren't horrible, but again, the toppings felt bland. However, their pepper did surprise me rib a kick. I would avoid this spot if I were you, because I feel like this is Mexican food "playing it safe"
google avatar

Liz B.

Yelp
Stopped into Chicas Tacos for a quick bite and it was a good choice! Service was fast & food was great. The ambience is very instagram worthy with the pink every where. Good value and much better than a chain restaurant such as Chipotle.

Yelp
Boyfriend and I ended up here last night only because, to our extreme disappointment, it looks like our fave, Pizzette in the Culver Public Market next door, has closed up shop. Bummed but undeterred, we walked back outside and next door to Chica's. It's a cute place with colorful walls and decorations, but I was immediately suspicious because there was only one other person eating in the entire restaurant. Kind of odd for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening in CC. We ordered a fish taco, a shrimp taco, one steak and one chicken taco, then sat down (wasn't hard to find a seat in the empty joint). When they were delivered to our table (2 tacos each plus 2 sides of chips and salsa), I have to say neither my boyfriend nor I were impressed by the pink plastic cafeteria-looking trays they were served in. They look like the trays you get when you're recuperating at the hospital. Optics aside, both of us agreed that you didn't get a lot for the price. These are tiny street tacos that can be eaten in basically three bites. The shrimp was nicely grilled, but I was super disappointed in the fried "fish" taco. I use hyphens because it literally tasted like if an overly mushy fish stick and a corn dog had a baby. It wasn't a solid piece of fish. And the fact that it was topped with Caesar salad and shredded Parmesan cheese seemed very odd to me. I didn't taste them, but Boyfriend said the chicken and steak tacos were ok but very greasy and liquidy. He finished them in 3 bites each and then proceeded to eat all of his chips and some of mine. (The chips, at least, were good and seemed homemade. The salsa, in those tiny plastic cups, was not bad but I wish there were a selection of different salsas.) We left still hungry and pretty underwhelmed with our experience. I'd describe this place as white-washed inauthentic Mexican food. We probably would have done better eating dinner at any of the taco trucks in the city. The logo of Chica's Tacos is "A Better Taco." My question is, better than what??

Trevor T.

Yelp
I'm not sure what has happened to Chicas. It was innovative and delicious when it first opened, but it has gone downhill in recent years. My past few experiences have been average at best. Way overcooked fish tacos, cold braised pork, bland braised beef, and a very lackluster staff. Tonight was my last time there. No more.

Osvaldo M.

Yelp
The place is nice, front staff were nice but were on their phones chitchatting with each other. The table where I sat was dirty the one in front as well. The staff kept chitchatting and on their phones while I ate. The food well, the burrito I ordered was a good size but the meat needed some seasoning, the chip were a little stale and the salsa didn't have any flavor at all plus it being very watery. I wasn't expecting the food to be bad. I'm not eating here again.
google avatar

Cherie H.

Yelp
Had the market bowl with steak and it was underwhelming. Steak was more like ground beef than carne asada and didn't have much flavor. Service and seating areas were good.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Went to Chicas recently with the wife for lunch prior to going to the CC Farmers Market. Very funny that they have this huge merch area as you walk up to order. I guess everyone needs a hat to order lol. The wife got some vegetarian tacos, and I got the Market burrito with chicken. The food was okay. If I worked local, this might be a decent lunch place (nice outside seating, quick food service) but not something special to go to.
google avatar

Rebecca D.

Yelp
This taco shop was a perfect stop on way from LAX to a Beverly Hills. The cashier recommended the steak and chicken tacos. I usually don't love steak tacos because the meat is in big chunks and sometimes hard to chew but I went with her recommendation and I was so impressed! Delicious, soft corn tortillas and the steak was finely diced and seasoned perfectly on both the steak and chicken. We washed it down with an ice cold margarita. I highly recommend! cute area to walk around in as well. We got our food in less than 10 minutes.

Cordell G.

Yelp
I had the absolute best experience here! CHICAS is definitely a vibe, and the food is the BOMB! I came here because of a word from a friend, and let me tell you, they took care of us and then some. First of all, the margaritas - FIRE! They may be pre-made, but baby, they are MADE. They are strong, and the rim they use is delicious. I had to grab one more before I left. Now, the food - they didn't have ANY business PUTTING THEIR FOOT IN IT the way they did!!! whoever was behind the kitchen put their whole foot and elbow in it; it was so good! Compared to anywhere else in the area, they actually catered to us and genuinely made us feel welcome. I will definitely be coming back here, and I'm bringing my friends. The store manager definitely knows how to bring a crowd together, and he's great. The staff was very kind and attentive. I truly recommend this location if you choose to eat in this area, and definitely don't sleep on the frozen margarita because YES.

Yelp
Visited on: 3/5/2022 THE EXPERIENCE: I called ahead to place my order just as I've done in times past. The staff are friendly and like to make sure you're close by so that when you arrive the food is hot! Who doesn't want fresh, hot food, right!? I sure do! I appreciated this! When I arrived I wasn't able to find parking so I had to double park (lol) and run inside to grab my food. MY ORDER: x1 nachos (chicken added) and x4 chicken tacos THE TATSE: - The nachos were amazing as always and the grease was kept away WHICH made me happy! - The tacos - I was told were great and also did not have grease! The recipients were pleased! WOULD I RECOMMEND? WOULD I RETURN? YES, I will continue coming to this location and I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a more healthier take on Mexican cuisine - without the guilt! Chris, my compadre! Thank you for running a tight ship at your locations! Even when you're not physically on-site your presence is STILL definitely felt by the friendliness of staff and the superb quality of the food! GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL YOUR ESTABLISHMENTS!!!

Ariella N.

Yelp
Solid tacos!! I don't think it's worth the price. The service is alright, it's just going up and placing your order. The aesthetic and vibe is really nice though!! I love the different colors and how it really brightens the space. I'm not sure if I want tacos I would go here, but for being around the area and wanting a quick eat this isn't a bad spot. Just think these are overpriced for what they are.

Yelp
We came here as a large group after a family event and they had a long table outside reserved for us as well as in their patio area. We all got to try various items on their menu: The pizza-crunchy and thin flaky crust with bits of tender chicken and gooey cheese. I think this was my favorite item because that crust was unique! The tacos-got to try both the fish and chicken tacos. The chicken tacos had a really flavorful sauce to it which livened up the taco, whereas the fish taco was standard. Still both tasty and bigger than a typical street taco. The enchilada casserole-layers of cheese and barbacoa with a layer of tortilla on the bottom. This came out in a 6 inch pan and a bit harder to cut and share servings of it as we were doing it family style. Nonetheless, it was filling and really cheesy! It then ended with vegan ice cream bars from Kaya. Not sure if it was on their menu or not but these really hit the spot on a warm day. Great service, great ambiance, and great food. If you find yourself out in this area, definitely worth a try!

Yelp
I honestly hadn't noticed this place (the umbrellas kind of hide the sign), but a few coworkers wanted to go here for a bday lunch. I opted for the Market Burrito with the braised (shredded) beef and the deep dish enchilada. The burrito was perfect. It was balanced with all of the ingredients and the shredded beef was juicy. I have a feeling that they do use wholesome and quality ingredients as I didn't feel weighed down and sluggish afterwards. It was like when I cook at home. I also got the deep dish enchilada, which is a small enchilada casserole. It's packed with protein (again I opted for the shredded beef) and cheeses! It's recommended for 2 people, but if I didn't previously have the burrito, I could have polished off the entire dish. It did take awhile for it to come out, though, which is probably for heating and cheese melting reasons. The green sauce was mild and tangy. Honestly, I'm not a fan of green sauce in general, but if they had an option to switch out the green for red sauce, I'd definitely order again. Their prices are very reasonable for the area, and with the prices like that, I hope they can stay in business a long time. Their cold brew horchata is also pretty good. Not as heavy as other horchatas, so it was a perfect agua fresca fusion for a warmer day.

Yelp
Bland, boring, bare minimum service. Was very excited to try out their vegan options, but there was very little flavor and the food was generally uninventive.

Yelp
Great service and love to sit outside. Love the margaritas on the rocks great flavor. Taste like high quality restaurant margaritas. The service is always good when we come. Always stop when I am in the LA Area

It was our first time at this place and we like their bowls. But my favorite was the slow braised beef taco, it was very juicy and well cooked inside a fresh soft corn tortilla. My gf ordered the Chica's bowl with jackfruit and she loved it and finished it all (I guess we were very hungry for a Mexican bowl). Blended Margaritas has two flavors, we got the passionfruit and hibiscus and they were okay. Ambiance is pretty chill and they play salsa music (not too loud). Service was fast enough for us to tolerate the waiting time. Recommended if you are in the Culver City area for lunch!

Yelp
Went here when most of the restaurants were closed at Citizen on a early Sunday evening(why?). Anyway, this place was an able substitute. Lovely having a good glass of wine from Valle de Guadalupe (not enough Mexican places have it) and eating some solid Mexican food. You order at the counter and then they bring the food out. Everything felt healthy and was fairly tasty. We the nachos(yum), the deep dish enchilada(very good, seasoning was not quite great, but still fun to eat), a shrimp market burrito(totally fine), and a variety of tacos(all OK). We sat on the fun and busy Culver City sidewalk. It was a very pleasant time. I would say if you just want some solid food(but maybe won't be wowed), this is a great place.

Yelp
Ordered delivery. This place exceeded all of my expectations that I did not have. The horchata was unreal - some of the best I've ever had (the horchata in LA never fails to impress me). Adding the coconut cream gave it this ultra creamy finish. I was going to get tacos, but this deep dish was calling to me. Basically like an enchilada casserole. Street corn was also great. The nachos got cold real quick, but they were still good. Will try tacos next time.

Yelp
Always great food. Love the enchilada bowl. chicken and beef. I didn't see it on the menu. But, you must ask for it.

Yelp
The impossible tacos are so good here especially with the sauces. Those sauces were *chefs kiss* the perfect touch and the taco again was so good. The restaurant is very cute and clean. They have a small dining area outside. They had very cute masks and were kind especially since I can be pretty quiet and shy haha. Also The margarita was really tasty and refreshing ;) i can't wait to come back and try their impossible nachos. I'm sure they'll be great like the tacos.

Yelp
I came in here to try their vegan impossible crunchy taco and it was so amazing and delicious and to die for... I ended up walking to buy another one! That crunchy taco was EVERYTHING! It's what I always wished Taco Bell taste like haha. There's street parking. They blocked half the street and created a super cute outdoor dining area. The staff is really nice, service is quick. I'll definitely return.

Yelp
Delicious tacos and delicious drinks ! Chicas tacos is a great taco stop if your in the Culver City area. I did have a little hard time navigating the location of the restaurant with all the outdoor seating taking over the street, but once you see a block with a lot of outdoor seating, you are in the right area. There are public parking structures where you can park instead of looking for street parking. I had the steak taco which was delicious! It was creamy and also had what I assume were pieces of potato. I had some chips and salsa which were just as you would expect. For drinks, I had the Paloma which was super refreshing! Give the taco joint a try! A taco is about $5 each but it's well worth it!

Yelp
At Chicas Tacos in Culver City, you'll find Mexican pizza, along with the usual fare of tacos, burritos and bowls, created by Chef Eduardo Ruiz, a James Beard Award nominee. Food is packaged in rectangular pink boxes for on-site dining and takeaway. Tacos range from $4.19 -$4.99 with fillings like chicken and beef to the more unsual jackfruit and Impossible Meat, served on La Princesita corn tortillas. For $10, you can get their two taco combo, which comes with chips and salsa ($1 upcharge for each Impossible taco). Their famous fish taco comes with a hefty piece of fish, beer-battered and fried, salsa morita, and caesar salad with garlic breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese. My taco was a little dry since the salsa was missing and the salad was very lightly dressed. I liked the pork taco better, with a decent serving of slow-braised pork, topped with salsa verde, caramelized onions and cilantro. Chips and salsa were fairly standard. If you're a light eater, the two taco combo is plenty, but being a healthy eater, I could have easily eaten one more taco. Chicas Tacos offers Taco Tuesday specials like a two taco combo with chips and salsa, and a beer for $13.95, as well as beer and margarita specials. On Thursdays, a side of chips and salsa comes free with your purchase of two tacos. Although indoor dining is not currently available (hopefully soon), there is an outdoor patio area and a large beer garden sponsored by Golden Road Brewing (with Happy Hour specials) where you can eat and drink. Metered parking available in the lot on Culver and free 1-hour parking in the public parking garages on Washington and Cardiff.

Yelp
This spot was too cute! The outdoor seating was perfect, staff was friendly, and food was WONDERFUL!! I got the steak taco and it had the perfect amount of spice and flavor. Delicious. The margarita was just as good and strong! There is a lot of street parking, meters. Will def be back! Loved the restaurant with all the skulls and plants.

Yelp
Having dinner here was not our first choice. We walked in here because the market next door closed at 6 pm on a Sunday. Food was good. We had three tacos: pork, beef and fried fish. The fish taco was probably the best. They were all great. We also ordered a quesadilla and the chicken bbq pizza. The Palomas were tasty but had so little booze. It's great for a fast food place. We had the outdoor patio to ourselves.
