I don’t know if I ordered the wrong thing here but I feel like this place was overhyped. The inside is pretty cool and the employees are nice but, the bubble milk tea I ordered was just okay. I ordered it on their big tablet inside. I ordered the bubble milk tea and selected the sugar level “Perfect” which I didn’t really know what that meant. The sugar level options are “Perfect,” “Light,” or “No sugar.” So I assumed “Perfect” would be sweet enough for me, or at least better than the “Light” option. When I tasted it though, I thought it could have been a little sweeter. However, I loved that it came wrapped in a string that you could use to carry it easily on the go. That was really cute. Overall, I was a little disappointed that there was very little customization available and that the bubble milk tea tasted just okay.

Absolutely love this spot—if you’re a tea lover, you need to stop by! All of the tea is brewed fresh, and the variety is incredible—from bold, darker blends to light and fragrant oolongs. We especially enjoy trying their seasonal specials, and love that you can also buy their loose leaf teas and tea bags to enjoy at home. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially if you’re not sure what to order or want a recommendation based on your taste. They’re always happy to guide you. There’s a good amount of seating, making it a great place to hang out with friends or family. And bonus points—the bathroom is very clean, which always adds to the experience. Don’t forget to sign up for their rewards program so you can earn points toward future drinks and treats!

This bubble tea spot is my absolute fave, even with only 4 locations (Austin, Houston, Carrollton, and CA - I'm stalking them everywhere!). What sets it apart is the tea is freshly brewed right when you order. Plus, the prices are super reasonable and the quality of the tea is on point. Definitely worth a visit (or four)! They are awarded 3-star by the International Taste Institute.

We recently visited Chicha San Chen, and even though we were a little nervous at first—it’s not exactly the same bubble tea style we’re used to—we ended up being pleasantly surprised. The quality of the tea really shines through, and every drink felt carefully prepared and thoughtfully balanced. Despite the crowd and the long line, the staff kept things moving, and we got our drinks quicker than expected. So glad Houston finally has one of these! Definitely looking forward to my next visit.

This boba tea shop in Austin is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an inviting and impeccably clean atmosphere. But what truly sets this place apart is the quality of teas and exceptional service. The staff, and Chris especially, were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain each tea option, the history of the shop, and what makes their boba unique. Chris was particularly charming and patiently walked me through the entire process, ensuring I understood every detail. He let me smell the fresh green tea that is used, which had a floral aroma of jasmine. I ended up with a delicious green tea with cream boba, perfectly balanced with chewy bubbles. The combination of high-quality ingredients, friendly staff, and a welcoming ambiance makes this boba shop a must-visit. Five stars all the way.

I really enjoyed the tea. I tried the Dong Ding Oolong tea with bubbles and the Green fruit gather tea. The oolong was semi sweet with a strong rice flavor. The green fruit gather tea was deliciously sweet with a strong citrus presence. The brewing process of their teas is also very impressive. However, I will say that the bubbles (tapioca pearls) were quite disappointing for such a well renowned tea/bubble tea shop. The best tapioca pearls I’ve ever had is still Cha Community in Waco, Texas.

Good taste of the Oolong tea and the green tea from the drinks. The drink with normal sugar and no ice was not too sweet. The service was very good here. The girl giving the tea tasting tour was so friendly and patient. Nice tea tasting experience. The tea shop interior design was good but looked quite crowded. It’s hard to stay in the shop and enjoy the tea drink peacefully. And it’s so noisy inside the tea shop; I could even barely hear the music from the shop.

You’ll be greeted by the comforting aroma of freshly brewed tea as soon as you enter the store. The space is filled with a rich tea fragrance that entices foodies to place their orders right away. The bestseller is still the brown sugar milk tea, but I personally love the green tea with bubbles—it’s flavorful, sweet, and creamy, capturing the perfect balance of taste. The atmosphere is lively, always bustling with people coming and going, which adds to the great vibe. It’s definitely a must-visit spot in Austin!
