Chichería Demente

Got here for a friend gathering, reservation process was impeccable, reserved on line they confirmed via WhatsApp and all was set! The menu has so many creative options is hard to choose, but we went with a Bogota Mule and a Mamoncillo martini! Both amazing, for food we decided to share a lot of appetizers, tuna a dumplings were my favorite and the lechona empanadas were The winners of the table! Finally we were happily surprised with live entertainment!!! Amazing group. So happy we came here, very much recommended 🧡

I've been traveling to Colombia for over a week trying different foods even outside the region. This by far was the best restaurant that I've eaten at on the trip. The customer service, the food and the vibes and everything was absolutely incredible. If I can give it more than five stars I would. If you see this on the way on your trip, make sure to stop by. You won't regret it. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant. They were so incredibly kind. I will return on my next trip!!!

This is a mostly meat focused restaurant but I thoroughly enjoyed my vegetarian dishes. I ordered the artichoke salad and zucchini salad with cheese and loved them. Everyone at the table e joyed their meal and the atmosphere is great.

This place really is promising with their ingredient quality and coooking creativeness of Colombian cuisine. Hamburguesa de rabo is spectacular and also a side dish with with paipa cheese is a must. We lo return

The atmosphere was nice, great music, the house and the decoration were cozy traditional Bogota old houses, and the attention of the waiters was good.  I went there because someone recommended this restaurant to me and I was looking forward to giving it a try. I ordered chicha (original flavor) which was delicious, plantain empanadas, morcilla, and sweetbread, these didn't blow my mind but the taste was nice, then we ordered pork shoulder, ribs, and loan. Correct cooking techniques but honestly everything lacked flavour. This is a great place but I suggest putting a bit more love and effort into making it a great experience.

Came in during on a weekday as we tried to a Sunday and it was completely packed. Reservations needed on the weekend. Loved the ambience in this restaurant, our server was great, very attentive and warm. Food and drinks were great, appetizers were small, the lechona empanadas were disappointing but overall we enjoyed our visit. Would recommend 👌

Food, delicious, the place amazing, the only thing that needs to improve is the service. Staff are not very friendly and cold. They were very disorganised upon arrival, for our reservation. 3 different people had to come ask us why we were standing at the door waiting to be seated. (about 10 minutes). For a place with prices as high as they are ($550,000 for 3 people), I expect a higher level of service. Forget about the staff, and the place is perfect. One of the best lunches I've had in Bogotá.

The place is charming, service is great, atmosphere nice but I must say the pork dishes are not as good as the beef ones and is a bit overpriced. Recommend for big parties! Try the carpaccio and “monster demente”!
