Honestly, I really didn’t want to leave a bad review because the first time I ordered takeaway, it was actually decent—the fish cake and bento were quite nice. But after visiting a few more times, things just went downhill.
The second time, I went in with a mate and we ordered the chicken wings and the "Crazy Love." The wings still had a bit of blood near the bone—not sure if that’s undercooked or just how they do it, but my friend was put off enough to swear off the place. The Crazy Love tasted alright, but I watched the staff make it without gloves… I’m a bit of a germaphobe, so that proper put me off. Still, didn’t want to waste food, so I ate it.
Third visit, I got the bento, and my friend had the poke bowl. This time, wasn’t wearing gloves when taking orders , but they wore them while prepping the food.
Fifth time, my flatmate ordered delivery—fish cake again, but a few pieces were proper burnt. Gave them the benefit of the doubt though; mistakes happen.
Last time (seventh or eighth?), we got fries and they felt like a smaller portion than before. My flatmate’s poke bowl which fruit in it, but the rice tasted way more sour than usual—I know they use vinegar mix rice, but this was too sour. Worst was the burger: the sauce had mixed with water from the lettuce, and it looked rank—like, this isn’t just me being fussy, it was genuinely unappetising. Ended up eating instant noodles instead.
I’ve given this place way more chances than most, but the quality’s just too inconsistent. Sometimes it’s alright, other times it’s a letdown.
