No One Injured in Avalon-Alpharetta Chick-fil-A Shooting | Eater Atlanta

"A shooting occurred in the parking lot of the Chick-fil-A near Avalon in Alpharetta around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday; thankfully no one was injured. The location is just outside the Avalon shopping and dining district on Old Milton Parkway and sits about a quarter mile from the Alpharetta Police precinct. According to police, the suspects fled the scene, the incident appears to be isolated, and surveillance video has been released to gather tips." - Beth McKibben

I absolutely love this Chick-fil-A at Avalon! The staff are always so kind and friendly, and the food is always top quality. The customer service here is the best — they really go above and beyond. I also love that they let you bring your pet on the patio, and they even give your dog a treat! Such a thoughtful and welcoming place. 🐶💛

Had a great visit to Chick-fil-A! The food was fresh and came out quickly, but what really stood out was the service. The employees were all friendly and helpful, making the experience smooth from start to finish. A special shoutout to Bella she was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The customer service here from the women is unpleasant. I will no longer go to this location and would rather stop at the north point location right off the highway. My experience this morning was taken aback. After my encounter with the female shift lead (African American curly hair braces walked away when asked her name) or whoever she was that took the cake for me. Very rude very passive. They messed up my meal, I brought the entire meal back and they said they couldn’t honor a replacement. Wowwwww really? After a male manager over heard what was going on he said it was ok. The fact that i come here just about every morning and had to go thru such a hassle is definitely not the normal Chick-fil-A standard. The food is hit or miss at this location. Nothing is consistent. Which is why I’ve decided to leave a review. Prior to this incident I would just call and let them know. I don’t ask for anything for free but when you keep messing up now you’re costing me my time and my money. I was completely over ordering chicken minis at this location small and hard. I’ve went back on several different occasions to have mine replaced with fresh ones. Why keep eating here? It was convenient on my way to work. Now I know to stop off Haynes bridge exit.

Visited during lunch. Lots of cars in the drive through but it flowed pretty quickly. The only issue I had was I ordered a large drink but they gave me a medium. They corrected it immediately though. Everyone working was friendly and presentable.

I just left the restaurant my order was wrong. I asked for the 12ct nugget combo (fried not grilled). I don’t know what is going on but they really need to pay attention to order placement. I was also rushed when ordering. The gentleman in the drive thru seemed a bit bothered when I had to switch from my bank card to my credit card. When I called to speak to a manager I couldn’t reach anyone. I paid over 16 dollars and for the order. Either refund me my money on my credit card or replace my meal for free.

Maria is very rude. She worked the shift 4/1/25 around 10:30ish AM. I said good morning & she went straight to “can I get a name? What can I get for you?”. I would say thank you and she would be mute like I was talking to a wall. I was the only car at the moment so I don’t understand the rudeness but I do understand people have bad days - nonetheless she definitely did not give the CFA standards. Anyways, anything NOT relating to Maria, was great. Her coworkers were more friendly. My food was fresh and everything like napkins, sauces, straws, and fork were included in the bag. Service is super fast too!

This location has to be one of the worst in customer service and basic competency. I frequent this location as I work next door and today was just the icing on the cake of terrible experiences and free 50 app point sorry our mistakes. This location proceeded to make my meal incorrect not once but twice and then once a simple chicken biscuit with cheese was asking for too much I asked the manger overseeing training according to the name tag for a refund on my meal as this was now a display of incompetence and a waste of my time. She proceeded to inform me my meal had been refunded but couldn’t provide me with a receipt for proof. As of now we are still here with no chicken biscuit and no refund. Please choose any location other than this one.

This is probably the best Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. The building is beautiful with high ceilings and lots of natural light. You get the same food and friendly service as you would elsewhere. I would definitely come back again. There's also a relatively large parking lot compared to other restaurants in Atlanta.
