Is It Safe to Eat Romaine Yet? Only if It Was Grown Outside California | Eater

"An Atlanta-based chicken-sandwich chain that has been expanding beyond the South has tried to distance itself from a previously stated anti-gay corporate stance, but scrutiny persists: CEO Dan Cathy publicly acknowledged the company's anti-gay position in 2012, and the chain has continued to donate to anti-LGBTQ+ organizations. Executives now say they want to focus on serving people rather than social policy, but those past actions have led some schools and communities to reject hosting its locations." - Chris Fuhrmeister

Chick-fil-A Partners With DoorDash to Offer Food Delivery Service | Eater

"An Atlanta-based fast-food chicken chain best known for its fried chicken sandwiches and for employees who greet customers with smiling faces at the counter and drive-thru. The company has faced criticism for its corporate stance on gay rights. It recently announced a partnership with DoorDash to offer delivery from more than 1,100 restaurants across the U.S., though customers using delivery still need to meet DoorDash drivers at their doors." - Chris Fuhrmeister

How Conservatives Troll Liberals With Straws, Starbucks, and Chick-Fil-A | Eater

"An Atlanta-based fried-chicken chain that has seen rapid expansion and strong sales momentum is on track to become one of the country’s largest fast-food operators, a development celebrated by social conservatives who view its growth as a cultural and moral victory amid debates over marriage equality." - Chris Fuhrmeister

Good Chick-fil-A Location. Great costumer service, good and freshly prepared food (my chicken sandwich was super hot, even had to wait a bit until I could eat it). Everything seemed pretty new and not worn down. It seemed to be pretty well taken care off and clean.

Love this new Chick-fil-A! There were mostly young kids/adults working here. They were nice. My food was fresh. Special shout-out to Carlos! He was so helpful and sweet. Made sure everyone in the eating area was taken care of. I'll definitely come back.

Two times in less than a month I have had to turn around and go back to the store to get my correct order. The staff can’t even make eye contact and say hello. When I returned to the store to get my correct order the lady I handed my bag took it and walked away without speaking a word to me. The young guy said “I told you we gave out the wrong one again” … will not return to this location.

in the morning, the service is extremely poor. Orders were delayed for more than 13 minutes, and there were clearly not enough staff. Customers even had to leave their cars and stand at the door just to ask about their orders. Because of this chaos, I was late to work. Very disappointing experience — a restaurant with this name should focus on organization and speed, especially during the busy morning hours. I will not be coming back until the service improves.

The breakfast, at least, is bad and dry. The McDonalds down the street has more stuff, is better, and is more affordable.

Please tell corporate to bring back the old fries. The new fries are nasty. I used to enjoy the waffle fries with no sauce. They were fluffy and potatoy. I will never order fries again until they are changed back. These new fries are the “New Coke” of Chick-fil-A.

“Cash or card” “cash only” “card only” is what you are trained to say if a person is waiting in line to place in order or check out. These phrases never came out this girl’s mouth before I approached her to place an order. Once it was time to pay she said “oh we don’t take cash..” so didn’t you let me know before I placed this order!?

As a frequent patron of Chick-fil-A, dining at this Buckhead location at least twice a week since its opening, I’ve come to expect the brand’s hallmark efficiency, courtesy, and quality. However, persistent issues culminating in today’s utterly unacceptable experience have made it clear that this location falls far below Chick-fil-A’s renowned standards, earning a one-star rating. Today’s visit was a new low. I repeated my order—two large sparkling waters with light ice and two Number 7 sandwiches without lettuce five times to the associate, who seemed confused. I even clarified that sparkling water falls under “water,” as I avoid soda or sugary drinks. Despite my efforts, she rang up medium drinks and insisted on serving them in medium cups, even after I corrected her. A supervisor overheard, casually saying, “You can let them have a large,” but failed to intervene when the associate ignored her and handed me the wrong drinks. No apology or correction followed for either the associate or supervisor, a baffling departure from Chick-fil-A’s customer-first ethos. The food was equally disappointing. Both sandwiches arrived with lettuce, despite my clear instructions (repeated four times). I alerted the the associate that brought the food to our table, who took the sandwiches to the back and merely removed the lettuce a sloppy fix that risks cross-contamination and reflects poor food handling, unthinkable for a brand known for precision. The supervisor, aware of the drink mishap, had inquired with my companion but didn’t address me, the paying customer, or rectify the situation meaningfully. This inaction is inexcusable for a chain synonymous with accountability.Chick-fil-A’s reputation for seamless service and consistent quality is nowhere to be found here. Slow service, incorrect orders, inattentive staff, and unsafe food practices overshadow the location’s convenience. Management’s polite check-ins while truly appreciated unfortunately can’t salvage this disappointing experience I caution management to focus on improving service and staffs knowledge and attentiveness to avoid this location losing patrons because service standards don't align with the brand’s standards. Yet, this location’s potential, bolstered by its attentive management, has not gone unnoticed; with dedicated effort, they could transform this underperforming outpost into one that consistently upholds Chick-fil-A’s renowned standards of exceptional service, precision, and quality.
