Chick-fil-A opens its 11th Las Vegas location on Thursday - Eater Vegas

"The long-awaited Chick-fil-A taking over the former Claim Jumper space at West Charleston Boulevard and South Fort Apache Road opens on Thursday, January 7. The location plans to offer a drive-thru and curbside pickup for mobile orders through the Chick-fil-A mobile app. Usually, Chick-fil-A First holds an event for the opening that features customers camping out to win free sandwiches for a year, but during the pandemic, the brand plans to surprise 100 local heroes making an impact in the Las Vegas area, and donate $25,000 to a local food bank through Feeding America. In 2019, Claim Jumper closed its third Las Vegas location in two years to make way for this location of Chick-fil-A, the 11th in the Las Vegas area that spans from the Strip to Henderson, with the 10th location opening in July at Las Vegas Boulevard and the 215. The chicken sandwich kings constructed a 5,011-square-foot drive-thru restaurant with an outdoor dining area across from Boca Park and half a mile from Tivoli Village. Local franchise owner Bill Carnohan hired 125 full- and part-time staff for the location. Carnohan and his family moved to Las Vegas in June after 20 years in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he would have breakfast at Chick-fil-A with his daughter, Maryn. Mostly decent food and service. They forgot a milk and some sauce, but when asked, they gave them to us no problem. Took a little longer for food than expected, but still in a reasonable amount of time. Playground is big and great for kids, especially on a road trip!

I started my 3 year old grand daughter drinking strawberry milk shakes. She loves them. When i ask here where do she want to go eat she says Chick-fil-A. She was stuck on McDonalds untill she tried Chick-fil-A nuggets fries and milkshake.

Waiting in the drive thru line longer than expected and got cold food. Went inside to get the order fixed and only received warm fries and still cold tenders. *Update- A year later 4/19/25 thought I will give them another try. These people gave me a whole grilled chicken patty for grilled nuggets.

Quick update and it's a downgrade. Good food & service at an above average level. The cleanliness however was a disaster. The visit on a Saturday late afternoon after apparent rush. There was a single employee trying to manage the chaos. Wiping tables down with wet wipes though? Not sweeping? Not pulling other employees off of their stat him to get control? It was the dirtiest CFA I've ever seen. Can't say I will rush back.

Nick provided great customer service. He looked up the sauces to tell me which ones were dairy free since I have a dairy allergy and he printed out the ingredients lists for each sauce. The bathrooms are clean and the water from the sink actually gets hot, which is great because your hands are actually getting clean. I've been in so many restaurant bathrooms that only have cold water that I was shocked the water here was hot. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and fries which were really good! The restaurant is clean and warm, which is great because it is currently freezing outside (45 degrees in April!)

This is the slowest Chick-Fil-A location I've ever patronized and it's not close. Pulled off and stopped here on a LONG road trip and lost over a half hour in the drive thru...and counting. It would be one thing if the drive thru was jam packed, but I am the 4th vehicle in line.This is just poorly run, and the rest of the reviews in here seem to show the same thing. Update: got food and it was cold and soggy. This is without question the worst chick fil a Ive ever been to. They should close it permanently.

The entire restaurant in the inside was nasty at 0800. I have never seen a chick fil not clean. The tables were not clean. The floors were not swept and the bathrooms were not clean also. There were flies all in the restaurant and the play area smelled like pee.

This is one of the most poorly run locations I have ever been to. Drive through was nuts and only taking orders in one lane at 10:45 in the morning. I walked inside and there was a huge line and only one cashier. The "team manager" (according to his name tag) was standing and supervising someone using the one register they had working. I waited 15 minutes and when a 2nd register finally opened, I was told my online order was not in their system even though money was taken from my account.

I usually have a great CFA experience but this time was just horrible. I ordered curbside and got a spicy deluxe with no pickles no tomatoes and added colby jack and bacon. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce tomato and it seemed like extra pickles on wheat brioche bread. literally the opposite of what i ordered, and the label said no pickles. and i already paid for my food so they ripped me off, charge so much but dont make sure your at least giving me what i paid for smh.

Not the best chick fil a. First one I have been to that will not specia make something for someone that has a food preference. For instance - I don't eat meat (vegetarian) but everyone in my party does and wants it. I usually get a wrap with No chicken, they call it a veggie wrap at every other chick fil a. They refused to make me one. So I had to leave my group to eat chicken and go grab Taco Bell across the road cause they will make things without meat. My daughter got a Southwest salad and had to take it back because the lettuce was all brown and nasty. Rotten! I am normally a huge chick-fil-a fan but not this one.

Do not spend your money here! Absolutely horrible service and employees. If you want your order to be messed up every time you come here this is the perfect place for you! Waited an hour in curbside for my order just for it to be cold and wrong. The manager refused to make it up to me for all the gas money I spent waiting on them. A good manager cares about their customers and will give them something in return for them screwing up to keep them coming back. This manager does not want your business! The manager here is running the place down!

The absolute worse Chick-fil-A I have ever gone to. I went twice thinking the service and food would be better the 2nd time. The drive-thru wait time was more than 20 minutes both times and the food was horrible. I didn't even recognize the tenders. They looked like they had been thawed out and then cooked.

Who doesn't like Waffle Fries smothered in Polynesian sauce? I may not eat meat, yet enjoy coming to Chick to the F A. We stopped here on our way to Charlotte, & on hot, rainy day it was packed. Right off exit I-85, in the city of Henderson, this local CFA staffs a huge team of young & friendly employees. The dining area & restrooms were well kept & some of the employees came to ask if we need anything while we waited for our order. Small town, big on welcoming service.

Worst pickup service experience ever! So indifferent to everyone bordering on rude. The mobile pickup area is right by the registers, so tight you brush up against others waiting in line trying to walk to the shelving. My order was on two different shelves not even near each other. I watched the crew member just put the bag on without looking for the rest of the order. They Never announced the order was there. When I finally got my order and left I found out that they never put the brownie I ordered in the bag. I had looked and thought I had seen the brownie but it was the napkins. The food I did get was cooked well, no complaint there. I will never go inside this location again. Drive though is a better option.

As far as drive through only experiences go the Tigertown location has it tuned like a finely oiled machine. The food is consistently fresh and the hot food is served hot with smiles and thank you's.

Waited 15 minutes in line to order, but only one person in front of us. Then it turned out not to be he line to order, so we had to move over to he next line. Then another 15 minutes to get our 2 sandwiches and fries. Manager was rude as she "apologized " for our wait. Worst service I have ever experienced at a chick-Fil-a ever. They were strong up for 2 birthday parties and apparently could not care about the patrons who were already there to eat. If you go in and see tables reserved for a party, go somewhere else.

We LOVE you CFA!!!. BUT ..... need to let you know that something is definitely NOT working since the reopening in Henderson. We have used the app and done curbside pickup very successfully for a while. The last two times were unusually bad. Once delivery person had to chase my car because they forgot half the order. Just this week I sat at a pickup spot for 20 minutes (understanding the restaurant was swamped). Eventually I went in. They said oops and handed me the order that had been sitting long enough that the frozen drink was melted. Didn't notice until I got home that the salad was wilted/warm and there were none of the usual extras, like dressing, toppings, etc. not even a straw for the melted frozen coffee. Now it seems the app and curbside pickup are "no longer supported" here. Corporate needs to get involved- this location is completely overwhelmed. They still command a huge customer base because there isn't another chic fil a for 40 miles, but believe me when I say this location is damaging the brand.

This place is great! This is probably the only chik fil a I have even eaten at but always has been top notch. I typically use the fridge thru but even when the line is wrapped around the building, it moves steadily every time. I have eaten inside a few times and the staff wherever drive thru or inside have been excellent. They are always nice and sincere. I don't know what their hiring process but it works well for them. The food is always great. Consistency is key and that is chik fil a all day. I enjoy the original chicken sandwich, grilled, the wrap, fries, the parfait. You name it and it will be good. Most importantly, I have never had to go back to fix my order because they didn't give me something or it was prepared wrong. They always give me the amount of sauces I asked for or more. Even today I ordered an unsweetened tea and 3 packs of splenda and when I got to the window the lady asked if I wanted her to mix it with my tea or just wanted the packets. That's priceless and unexpected. Great customer service!

I ordered a cheese biscuit this morning and got a chicken, egg and cheese biscuit instead ( major score for anyone else....BUT I don't eat chicken or eggs. VERY rude and dismissive staff (particularly a young black woman, who I assume was in a managerial role since she was the one who gave me my 'corrected' order...without the difference that I was owed (a tough cheese biscuit with unmelted cheese). She acted as if I was a bother to her as if I didn't notify the young lady at the loud speaker of my incorrect order only to pull around and receive yet another WRONG order. Rude, impolite and dismissive is how I would describe my experience this morning.

If you go to basically any Chick-fil-A there is a line wrapping around the restaurant and down the street. This one is no different. However, they do a great job of getting everyone through quickly with employees taking orders on hand helds the line goes faster than most places that have no line. Plus your getting much better quality food. For lunch you really cant go wrong with anything. The original is always a good go to or the spicy chicken sandwich. There chicken nuggets are favorite of mine. My all time favorite is the chicken minis and I will never understand why they don't serve those all day.

I don't normally go to CFA because their values don't align with mine. That said, I "grew up" on CFA in college - we had one on the campus at UNCC so that one stingy little pickle (come on ... why not a couple ... pickles are the cheapest food on the planet) became second nature. I HATE this restaurant. The drive through is horrible. The queue inside will make you feel like you're at Disney without a FastPass. And now they've gotten approval to make the drive through TWO lanes instead of the crowded, obnoxious one that they already have. Let's not even talk about that little playspace they have in there. It's the size of a quarter and there's about 10 feet total of bench space. Kids are old enough to go in there "unsupervised?" There's no seating where you can actually see your child. Just stay away. There are so many options nearby - McDonald's, Denny's, Subway, Bamboo Garden is always good, there's sushi about 3 minutes away at Ichibar, there's Taco Bell... You get it. Henderson has options. Choose one other than this CFA.

Chicken has usually soaked up grease, the milkshakes are completely melted when served, and the fries are soggy. Management needs to get involved. This branch falls so far behind others......

Went here,on 7-6-20 for breakfast. Ordered 4 Chicken,egg and cheese bagels for family. Got home and with the first bite I could tell that the chicken on the bagels was left over from the day before. It wasn't fresh and it had been reheated. I won't make that mistake again. Lunch here is good, but breakfast isn't. It's a shame.....expensive food and it's not even fresh.

We knew breakfast was ending in 15 minutes but really wanted some chicken and egg biscuits for the start to my cousin's epic bachelorette weekend. We enjoy Chick-fil-A and eat often at other locations. We are accustomed to them being busy. We were surprised when we visited this one which was not busy. We quickly found out why. The politeness of the employees was not what we have come to experience. Our order was not correct so when we went to the counter the employees were laughing and chatting among themselves. Finally we were asked if we needed help. We explained the issue and it was corrected. No sorry for the mistake or a my pleasure to correct it. The correct item was placed on the counter and they went back to their conversation. This was July 15th around 5. The items ordered were ok. We will not be back to this location.

This is the first Chick-fil-a that i have been to that has has dead flowers.on the tables. The ladies room was dirty and needes attention and the door to the men's room would not close. I watched a man refill the lemonaide container with a mix that the sugar has not been properly desolved in so he had ro add additional water to pour it in. Our food was hot.

Its absolutely slammed busy but with the Quality and pricing of their menu and the absolute Gracious wait staff that they always have, it's worth it. The rest of Henderson, NC needs to look at the management and employees of this location as an Example of to how to treat customers. Thank you for being the shining light!

This is the most organized and clean fast food restaurant I have ever been to! All of their condiments (ketchup, mayo, hot sauce, etc etc) were so neatly organized and displayed. They even had fresh flowers on all of the tables and even in the bathroom. There were people washing the windows and untangling the balloons inside. Service was superb and everyone was so friendly. I had the chicken tenders and the peach milkshake...both were yummy!

Chick-fil-a's around America are notorious for being super clean and a high quality fast food chain. This one, however, had zero cleanliness standards and the dining area looked more like a McDonald's. I've been to many Chick-fil-a's along the east coast and this one is by far the dirtiest grimiest one I have ever visited. There were plenty of open tables, but they all had trash and food grease on them. Also, our cashier did not even say the one trademark of the employees saying "My pleasure" after we said "thank you." This one is a disgrace and I will never visit this one again in my travels. I hope this one changes its standards or it may just shut down if it doesn't get better!
