Chick-fil-A Maplewood

Really disappointed with my experience during a dine-in visit. I received an email at 3:18 PM saying my food was ready, and I could see it sitting on the counter behind the employee. When I asked for it, Cadence told me, “This isn’t my station.” I pointed out that my food was right there and explained I was on a short work break and just needed the sauces which were at an arm’s reach, but she still refused saying they had other drive-thru orders to handle. I asked for a manager, and Carlos came over. Instead of simply handing me my food, he spent nearly five minutes arguing with me while my food just sat there. No apology, no urgency just unnecessary attitude over a simple request. For a brand that prides itself on hospitality, this was the exact opposite. Poor customer service, zero empathy, and a complete disregard for time or professionalism. You can even see in my photo that the second order screen was clear. My food was ready and they refused to hand it to me. Edit: After leaving this honest review, I was surprised to discover that a complete stranger wrote a retaliatory review about me personally, using my name, employer, and even describing my uniform. This individual was not involved in the interaction and made several inaccurate and exaggerated claims that do not reflect what actually happened. I simply asked for my food, which had already been confirmed as ready, during a limited work break. I have a screenshot of when I got to Chic-Fil-A with my drive time and when I left. I used the restroom before sitting down and approaching the counter. I was waiting for my order when I noticed other people walking out with their food. I also have timestamps of when I arrived at the location and when I left. It’s disappointing to see someone try to discredit a customer for voicing a valid concern. My experience with the staff at this location still stands: they refused to hand me my ready order, argued with me instead of resolving the issue, and showed no urgency or care for my time. That’s what this review was about, not a personal dispute.

Ordered#2 deluxe, got this instead spicy plain. There was A pickle slice.. For 11 bucks I want what I ordered. No they weren't busy. Always check your bag. Wrong order no mayo no nothing. Won't be back . Wendys and Culver down street

Amazing all the way around. The cashier, Miguel, who took my order, was extremely polite. He asked me how I was doing and thanked me when I returned the question. Quick service, professional, and great food. I am very pleased.

Read this review . First of all. The wait was extremely long I was waiting nearly 25 minutes for preordered food that should have already been made especially with a 5 minute drive . The service was horrible . One worker did compliment my outfit so props to her but WHY did my food take so long ? Then I get my food and it’s half ass made and it was the WRONG order . Never again will I come here and neither should u. Stick to the one in Roseville

I usually have great experiences at Chick-fil-A, especially at the Maplewood location, but unfortunately, my visit this time was disappointing. I interacted with a team member named Cadence, and she came across as very rude and unfriendly. Her tone was short, and she didn’t seem interested in providing the kind of polite, welcoming service Chick-fil-A is known for. It felt like I was inconveniencing her just by ordering. I hope this isn’t the norm here, because I’ve had much better service from other employees in the past. Definitely not the experience I expected.

Literally the worst chic-fil-a that I have ever been to. I try to avoid this location and it’s just this location that’s consistently bad. It’s not the food it’s always the employees. If I’m not waiting literally 15 minutes, I’m getting attitude from the employees for no reason. Very off putting for chic-fil-a.

It’s a Chick-fil-a location that meets the higher standards of the chain. Very nice and efficient operation and employees are very friendly, just what you would expect from the restaurant chain.

I was in the drive through while already waiting for 20min did a mobile order when got the pickup I asked for some sauce and cup of ice that I forgot to put on the mobile order. the lady at the drive through whose name is Tati soon to be manager catches an attitude and says I’m holding up the line and to come around. Now I didn’t mind going around but the fact that I sat in the line waited 20min and for her to speak like that as if I’m receiving a handout when I am as much of a customer as everyone else. I went inside to get my ice and the lady still with attitude comes while I’m talking to another employee to see what’s going on and when I tell her what I was upset about she continues to do the passive aggressive bs and tell em “are you upset about a sauce” and walks away!!! The fact that this woman is going to be a manager is with that attitude is mind boggling to me. When I asked for a manager or someone higher the other employees seemed like they didn’t know what to do or how to handle any type of escalated situation. The young lady they sent out to talk to me had no training and didn’t know what she was doing or talking. When I asked about owner or higher management they told me this place was private owned and don’t go by chick fila rules. I can’t believe that’s how their employees are trained. I have never had a bad experience at chick fila this is my first encounter. The only thing I would recommend for this location is not make that lady a manager get rid of her asap. She has no people skills and clearly no patience. No matter how busy you are there is no excuse for that nasty attitude. Please find another job it clearly shows you don’t like this one and can’t handle stress. Chick fila maplewood Minnesota please do better and retrain your folks on basic etiquette. Treat people with common decency and respect. We are spending our hard earned money here so a little respect isn’t asking for too much!!!!!!

Stopped in today for the free Timberwolves regular chicken sandwich. I ordered it without pickle. When I got up to the window the gal said it can't come without pickle. I was completely dumbfounded as I said "oook" so I didn't look at her name tag. I had also asked for two sauces. As I pulled away I checked the bag, so I could pull off the pickle. I opened the bag... TAHDAH... two sauces!! I opened the sandwich bag...no pickles! I chuckled and stuffed it back in the bag and thought: thanks!! My whole order is exactly as I ordered it! Thanks Chick-fil-A

Great chick-fil-a! The team there is great. Try their fries, shakes and delish chicken sandwiches! Always an awesome option except on Sundays!

Good salads, quality ingredients, great chicken tortilla soup in cold weather. Friendly efficient service.

Service is very good. Our favorites are tasty. Love the lemonade ice!! Pleasant clean dining area.

+.5 for service This has now become my halfway point stop when I travel between Winnipeg and Chicago. Obviously we don't get Chick-fil-A in Canada, and their chicken is worlds better than anything we get chain here. I do understand the politics behind this place, but I'm here for food. I usually order the nuggets and have never been dissatisfied. The chicken sizes are reasonable, but the batter is amazing compared to nuggets you get at McDonald's. Service is also amazing here, they will actually come up and ask if you enjoyed the food, and if you don't they will do whatever to make it right. Definitely an excellent stop for a long road trip.

For being a fast food joint the service was amazing!!!! They had a CSR who was awesome, I would highly recommend

The only chick fila where the owner tried to argue with me passively. You get my order completely wrong . I didn't even order the grilled nuggets. I come inside and I tell the person I assume was a worker, no this was the owner. He doesn't even ask me for a receipt nor even a time , where's the food he asks?!? I politely tell him that DUE TO STATE LAW , they are not allowed to take the food. It must be discarded. Again. Argumentative. I tell him it was 2 sandwiches, and a kids meal. He starts a fishing expedition about when , where , how. Tells me that he's gota go to the back and look at the "thousands" of orders as he calls it. I now go to rasing canes which just got added here. They have way better service and guess what, when I thought there chicken was not cooked all the way (rubbery) they quickly fixed it, fried it longer for me like I asked and didn't argue with me. Quilty of quantity.

I don't get the hype with these guys. They are way overpriced for fast food and the portions and quality of the food. I got this wrap with very little chicken in it. The fries were unsalted and cold. My daughter got three chicken tender and fries. Set us back $18. Not returning.

After giving it a try, I'm not going back. I used the drive-thru. When I pulled out, I realized that I did not receive the drinks that came with my order. I went back and asked for them. I did not receive an apology, instead being told that I had pulled out too soon. Drinks should be handed out first, not after the order. The four piece chicken strips I received were poor, especially for a franchise that prides itself on chicken. They were small, less than 2 inches long, and looked burnt and over cooked. I asked for Honey Mustard packets, and got three. Were they trying to make up for the poor chicken, as in they wanted me to drown the strips in the sauce? Also, the Deluxe Chicken Fillet sandwich was bland and lacked flavor. It was nothing special. I couldn't finish it. The waffle fries were dry, and needed to be choked down. In the end, I ended up making food at home because I will still hungry afterwards.

This one has super long double lines yet still fast and efficient. I get a basic chicken sandwich. They ask if you want condiments. Always a thick piece of chicken. I also get a kids meal because it has smaller fries, drink and a 4 piece sample of tiny nuggets.I think people are so sick of the downward quality of the original 3 burger joints, they don't care what their politics are. I like the huge sign as a landmark.

Spicy Deluxe was amazing! Waffle fries are always good and it was good here. The Chick Fil A sauce is a must! The service I received there was exceptional, she had a smile on her face even after a busy opening day. I literally went right before closing. The menu is almost purely chicken but it's good. Lots of options here. Chicken tasted way better than most fast food chicken!

Service is great. Food is decent. Panhandler inside the restaurant going from table to table asking for money is unsettling especially on my first visit.

Just went to Ckick fil a and couldn't have been more amazed. Are food got to us under 3 minutes, and the food was delicious. Everything was very clean, and welcoming.

I now understand why my teen niece says she could eat here daily! Their sauce is delicious that comes with the chicken and their Mac and cheese taste like the homemade kind o would have as a kid. Staff is also very very friendly and the food is fresh and hot.

Went here for lunch yesterday. I just love those kids behind the counter. They are sharp, polite and hard working. Way to go Management. Food was great as always. Hey McDonald's, Wendy's and KFC, this is how you do it! I will be back again and again.

We just zipped through the drive-thru but the service was fast, efficient and super friendly. Have you ever had someone ask for your name and then say, "Nice to meet you!" at a drive-thru speaker? It was a refreshing break from the robotic norm. :) I love the #1 combo because it's the only restaurant where I don't have to ask for my sandwich plain. In fact, it only comes with pickles! It's a little ol' slice of heaven in a bun. :) The waffle fries are great. My little guy wanted to try one and has declared them to be, "The best fries I ever tasted in my life!" We don't often get new restaurants out our way so this is a welcome addition. We'll definitely be back!

They stop serving breakfast before 10:30. Every day it seems like it's a different time. It's a 20 minute drive for me nothing like being told they're already serving lunch and it's not even 10:30 yet. Also slowest drive-through in Minnesota and no bypass lane for when they screw you out of breakfast and you need to leave. I'm not eating lunch at 10o'clock in the morning you lunatics.

Chicken tenders here is better than the West St Paul location. Better seasoning and frying. Super good and hot & fresh.

HORRIBLE!! Literally didn't even get my food AND the sauce I specifically asked for. Horrible staff and service. I expected better and I lost my money.

Pretty sure this is the slowest chic fil a in the country. I'm just DoorDashing right now but I was supposed to be picking up at 11:59 and it's now pushing 15 minutes after. Literally taking money out of my paycheck because of how slow they are and disorganized they are. Please get it together!

The Minnesota Twins hit a double yesterday at the home stand, which means you have a free sandwich if you come in with the app. I called in and made sure it was valid, and the employee that picked up told me that it was. I walked in, and the manager with a blue polo on told me that I couldn't receive my free sandwich although her employee told me that I would. Very disappointing that she did not honor what her own employee said.

7:20 pm on a Thursday.... SLOWEST drive thru experience ever. Over 25 min in line to get our order.

They only offer drive thru, there are no curbside pick up on Chick-fil-A. I ended up waiting in the long line.

I've been here twice, & been impressed both times. All employees were kind, friendly, & served customers with a smile. And talk about lightening fast service... both times I ate here, my food was ready before I even sat down at my table! And, the food was great! I will definitely keep coming back.

First time there today, the food was good but servings were tiny. Swear to god I got a $9 parakeet breast on a bun, literally stopped at Wendy's for more food afterwards

With this Chick-fil-A just opening I give it 5 stars. Came here twice and both times we've had exceptional service orders were correct and food was hot! Will definitely be coming back! :) Although, we didn't make it on opening day. But the picture I posted was the day before opening day!

The first time I came to dine in was quick. This time I got to wait 30 MINUTES for my food to be deliver to my tables. We ordered 2 order of the 4 piece of chicken strips and got a free spicy sandwich(we did a survey & got it for free) a large lemonade drink and a large waffle fries. We went to sit and wait patiently and saw a family of 5 that came to dine in after my 30 minutes wait and already got there food in a few minutes while I was still waiting for my foods. The cashier that help us her name was MARIA. So my husband decided to go up to the cashier to ask why it's taking so long. And when we got the foods my sandwich didn't have lettuce or tomatoes but two piece of pickles only. Besides that everything was okay. I think this employee is new but they need to train her better! I'll reconsider about going back or maybe never again!

Best service. Come here as treat/cheat day and have never been disappointed. Friendly and clearly focused on families. Great food.

Friendly staff, but the slowest service you will ever experience! Doesn't matter what time of day you visit or how big or small your order is...they all move at a snails pace.

For someone who really enjoys Chick-Fil-A this might've been my worst experience. I came here about 9:45 after a soccer game in high hopes of getting a nice meal after my game for my chicken nuggets to be cold and hard like they had been sitting in the restaurant and just dumped into a box and given to me. Didn't taste fresh or look fresh whatsoever. Very disappointed. Fries were good though.

I went in there and ordered a sandwich, I went to the bathroom, there where kids playing in the bathroom and feces smeared on the walls, then some kid not an employee served me my sandwich, I left without my sandwich

They are always so kind at this location my food comes out fast and is warm I always go here after work when I am hungry the peeps at this location will always make you feel good knowing there are good people still in this world

where my fries at fu gangy. i walked in there being the gangster i am and wanted ti catch me a bag of fries. then i chopped up and got no fries. gangy stole my mudafucin fries. then they gave me new ones. gangy on top

I am really excited about my experience here. Even though it took a little while to order as it was dinner, U did not have to wait long fir my food. My chicken sandwich was really tender and filled me up. Of course having waffle fries was a real treat for my meal. I was unsure about this new location but really did enjoy my meal.

Came here for lunch today - first time I've ever been to this location. I just moved back to MN from TN and Chick-fil-A's are SO popular in the south that you end up waiting in line at a drive through for at least 20-30 min and the line is just as long indoors. I was thankful to only be in line for about 5 minutes. The staff were friendly and fast, and they were so cheerful which I loved! My number 8 cool chicken wrap with creamy salsa (the BEST) and side salad with light balsamic with the dried red peppers on top were amazing as always! And everything was so neatly packaged. Chick-fil-a, you've done it again!

Went with the spicy chicken deluxe and thought it was a pretty good sandwich. Not so big on their fries but the service was better than expected the place was very clean and well kept. Will likely be back.

Everything you expect in a Chick-Fil-A - great service, good food, good prices, and they get your order right.

My car broke down in their parking lot, and the manager helped me push my car to a better spot. Another manager offered to jump my car for me. Then they gave me a coupon for a free sandwich. The chicken tenders I ordered were very delicious. These folks really are nice.

Updated review: Service has been slow. Seriously, the McD down the road is faster with an order 3x the size. Drive thru staff are polite but the speed needs to be worked on

I went to chick fill a before work this morning, I was the first person in the drive thru and all I ordered was 2 chicken buiscuts. I sat there for 16 minutes and all they offered is to take my name down so I could "pick it up later." Excuse me... I have a job. I'm not driving back later to pick up 2 chicken buiscuts... not happy. Won't be returning

I have to say I am so impressed with the level of professionalism and the outstanding customer service they have. I have been here a couple of times with family and they don't miss a beat! My family and I have liked all items we have tried. My fav is the Cobb Salad with the Avocado Lime Dressing!

Great restaurant for families, wait was a bit long on a Tuesday night, but the service was quick & friendly. My kids love the Icecream. The playplace is good to blow some energy too. I ordered the Chicken Club, delicious

this milkshake made me not want to kill myself. the workers are required to say "my pleasure" but i did not hear a " my pleasure". the chicken was cooked nicely but i could really taste the Jesus. the sauce leapt at me from the container and called me a homophobic slur.

I will start with saying I love chick-fil-a, and the food was on par with what you expect..not great, but on par. However, I have never seen such poor service at any other location before, and I have been to a lot. A family of 4, we sat for nearly 35 min in the drive thru. I would have left long before, but once you are committed to the line, you're then trapped and have no choice to be able to leave the drive thru. I did hear "sorry for that wait" while taking my order, but by then it was too little too late, with no compensation offered. It is very apparent that this store has not been trained properly based on the standards that a typical Chick-Fil-a is ran. This owner needs to visit any other location and see what the experience should be like, and based on other reviews, it doesn't sound like any thing has changed for quite a while...very disappointed.

I have become accustomed to my children constantly asking to go to Chick-fil-A as they love the food and service. The very good service I enjoy especially the "My Pleasure" after I say thank you. I've even used the process to show my children what great service looks like. Unfortunately, WBL location has disappointed me even after numerous attempts enticing the drive up teller after saying thank you....and nothing! No my pleasure or I'm sorry or anything! Disappointing. What I expected with our order was it to be correct, hot and with great service. Not what I got. Instead, the order was wrong on many fronts, food was not hot and the service was very poor. Details: -Got Coke vs Diet Dr Pepper -Food including waffle fries and my sandwich was cold -Didn't give us ketchup or Honey Mistard which I asked for multiple times -Cheese wasn't even close to being melted -After thanking the teller many times for fixing, do you think I heard "My Pleasure" once? Nope! Disappointing!

Chick-fil-a- Slow service. Ordered the spicy chicken deluxe and grilled chic club. Got home the spicy chicken was plain on bread. The club, bacon under cooked and it was sitting in water so it was soggy. Both sandwiches were not hot. Waffle fries were cold. First time to visit, will not go back. 1 register open, 5 people standing around. Cars lined the drive thru and a line at counter at 2:30 I would have rather waited the extra 10 minutes for it to be hot, fresh and done right. If you have time to stand around then you have time to do it right.

Love their nuggets dipped in buffalo sauce. So good. And I've also had their chicken club sandwich w bacon. Since we've tried them, we haven't stopped going back. I like how I can order online thru the app and just pick up vs me stuttering at the drive thru not know what I want. I also tried their lemonade. Perfect lemonade. Sweet tea is good, not too sweet which a lot like. And today I tried their strawberry milk shake. I personally thought it was too thick for my taste and sweet but it was really good. The best part about ordering here is the customer service. I wish every where we went we had service like this! "Yes ma'am, my pleasure."
