Ok. Not sure about the craze for Chick-Fil-A. The chicken nuggets were teeny – like the size of my thumb nail. So an 8pk may work for a dieting teenage girl, you’d need at least 40 to feed an average teenage boy. Maybe if they re-named them to chicken minis because they aren't comparable to the standard size nugget. The grilled chicken sandwiches are nice since Wendys and McD no longer have a grilled option. The waffle fries were disappointing but no one can top McD fries. Notable ketchup packets (see photo). Great service though and luckily not much of a wait at Detroit Airport DTW for lunch.

Store CFA #6107 Kali dark skin skinny employee was very unprofessional. He was rushing and over charging my order. His attitude was very distasteful. He walked away when he was told the drink was incorrect he walked away to the back. The managers was very aware and stated nothing to him. My drink had something in it as well. He chose to work here so he should give great service as it is his duty. First time this has happened and I’m very upset because I am an employee on lunch being timed. Having to attend work just like him. Nobody on the clock held him accountable very unacceptable.

Airport Chick-fil-A, food was good, service was fast, area was clean. Enjoyed piano player entertainment!

Early morning Monday order was wrong (ordered one meal and two plain biscuits, received a meal and another sandwich, location wasn’t busy. Staff were annoyed to serve customers

There was a long line. That was ok because it moved fast. I ordered a sandwich with no tomatoes no pickles. The register read no tomato no lettuce. I reiterated to Khali A, the cashier that I wanted lettuce but no tomatoes no pickles. He reassured me that the register was wrong and corrected it on the register but now it only said no pickles. I reiterated again that I wanted no tomatoes no pickles, to which Khali A, the cashier, kind of checked me for my fretfulness by responding assertively, “Sir, there won’t be pickles on it!” So I chilled out. I received my order, take it back to my gate, open my sandwich and not only is there not no pickles, not one pickle, but two pickles. I mean, man! It’s like I was getting pranked. Also, they don’t scan for rewards points at this location which is kinda wack.This location is not consistent with the Chick-fil-A brand I’ve come to love. I probably wouldn’t go there again nor recommend it, but it’s at an airport with not a lot of options in that gate area. Not worth the airport prices tho. Plus, not a lot of great customer service. This was my only follow up recourse, unlike the normal Chick-fil-A.

Food is ready in a reasonable amount of time. Sometimes the service is not great. The employees don’t have a welcoming attitude and it feels like you are bothering them by ordering. Today I ordered a meal and once I got my food I realized they only rung up the sandwich. If they had read back my order before cashing out my order I could have caught the mistake. When traveling I only come here if I am short on time. I really love Chick-fil-A but this one does not live up to Chick-fil-A expectations.

I love Chick-fil-A, so when I had a recent layover at Detroit AirPort, I walked across the airport to have some. The line was long, like any Chick-fil-A location in the country. But, someone I assume on behalf of Detroit Airport was playing a piano next to this location. Since I love music, it made my time waiting in line enjoyable! I got my spicy chicken sandwich, fries and coke and continued to listen to this talented musician. The food is standard Chick-fil-A... which means its delicious! Don't know if this was done involving Chick-fil-A but this was the fanciest experience I had at one and one of the most enjoyable airport meals I have ever had!

Got a "grilled" chicken sandwich. Absolute garbage. Got the sandwich within 30 seconds. Had some grill marks put on it at the factory. Not edible. Bonus was I got to pay Detroit airport prices!

With how busy and shortstaffed this location is they do an amazing job in our Detroit Metropolitan airport always my go to when I land or before I fly out

6107 at DTW airport provided the worst experience I have had from a CFA store. Simply attempting to spend cash (not card) led to an encounter with an extremely rude and dismissive CFA employee "Khali". I sure hope this young man matures quickly into the service role he is currently holding. Further, I hope this is not the way of the future for CFA and their customer service experience. Just terrible, I would expect to be attended to like this as a guest at a pawn shop. Not CFA. Ultimately, Khali abruptly departed the register, and Nader stopped mopping, moved to a cash accepting register to take my order.

Ordered #1 &#2 deluxe. Buns on both rather stale and disintegrated about 1/4 way through. Finished chicken & lettuce'& tomato with knife & fork. Not what I'd expect based on usual ATL Concourse A location. Maybe DET has different supplier or less frequent deliveries. Or maybe just a one time deal

It's a chic fil in an airport. Exactly what you would expect l. Tastes like chic fil an and costs the price of a carry on.

I'm really tired of chic filet always screwing up my orders. Been to a few of them and it's rare that I go. Almost every time my order is wrong. Asked for a number four with a coffee and an orange juice. She even asked if I wanted the fountain or simply orange juice bottle. I said I wanted the bottle and she returned with a water!!!! I corrected her and she got me an oj and said well I only charged you for the water, it's cheaper. I'm like I don't care I'm not the one paying for it! Get my order and go sit down. I got a number two instead! I didn't want chicken nugget sandwiches for breakfast before my flight!

I will give this particular chick-fil-A location in terminal A at Detroit airport their flowers. At 6:00am in the morning, the staff was so friendly and personable! My order was correct and was very hot and tasty..and served with an excellent portion size (sandwich). The line obviously gets very long, due to its proximity to numerous gates, but the staff efficiently kept it moving. I can see how the staff can get burned out because of the busyness, but they are handling it well..and I hope Chik-Fila-A is properly compensating these service workers..they deserve it! Highly recommend.

My order was given to someone else. I waited for over 15 mins for a very simple order of 2 meals of nuggets. The person who took my order wrote my name wrong so I never heard it called. It was only after multiple attempts to get somebody to help me figure out where my order was that I was informed that somebody else took my order. No apologies given nothing at all. I had to eat very quickly in order to get back to my gate. Which was almost done boarding by the time I got there. Worst chick fil a experience.

Quick, fast and fresh! Only complaint is that it was so far away from my gate lol and I wish they were on one app.

Don't advertise something you don't have, ie peach milkshakes. Signs all over making people believe you have them.

unless it's a ghost town --just keep walking. if your kids are hungry just go to McDonald's 10 gates down. it took 35 minutes to get a chicken sandwich. that was only after I walked up and asked where it was. clearly no one was planning on getting us food the way the girl was searching for the order on the screen. 2 or 3 couples ahead of me left with only part order after waiting more than 20 minutes since their plane was now boarding. half the employees are nice

In a busy airport dealing with lots of delays and cancellations, I was impressed by how quickly I got my milkshakes! The people were friendly the shakes were delicious!!

Donald, who took my order thought my name was rocker, are you serious donald, what human being is named rocker. Donalds words were hidden in misconstrued mumbles that were synonomous with a dying horse. Donald gave off im 23 and a virgin kind of vibes, his gaze made me feel as if his chick fila register job was truly strenuous, poor donald. not to mention i didnt receive a single "my pleasure" from donald, which makes sense, his service was not his pleasure it was downfall.

It's still open at 7:30 pm on a Wednesday if this is the one in terminal A. But my gosh... this is the cheapest CFA I've been to! Barely filled my large fries up... SKIP! Or maybe you'll get better luck with a chicken sandwich.

I've had Chick in Orlando and twice out west. All disasters. Left with no choice at metro airport, we came back for more. Unbelievable. The best service and a fabulous sandwich. The lines can get long with nothing else available. That didn't matter, these folks were incredibly fast. Friendly, too. While there's not much to making a biscuit with egg, chicken and cheese, this one was very tasty. I almost ordered a second. Amazing experience. I was ready to give this a huge thumbs down. Now I can't wait to come back to town. 08/21

This is a busy spot at the end of the long Terminal A with like 6 gates at the end. I was here at around 8am on a Monday for a flight and there were probably 15 people in like and 15-20 people waiting for their orders. The staff are efficient and friendly. They are in a hurry tho so I had to wait and ask for utensils for my fruit cup they didn't include originally. Standard food taste. But happy to have something quick and yummy before my 4-hour flight to Phoenix.

After running through the airport to catch my connecting flight, I found out it was delayed (because why wouldn't I) Now that I had time to kill I was able to get myself some food, and thanks to a semi fast moving line, it was Chick-Fil-A's time to shine! The mine was moving pretty fast and I was able to order my deluxe chicken combo super quickly. When the food was done and I was left to go find a seat to try and enjoy my food, I realize first and foremost that this food was very hot and very fresh, two very good signs. The waffle fries were delicious and although I couldn't finish them, I enjoyed every single bite. The deluxe chicken sandwich was also super hot and fresh and was super tasty. The meat was super juicy and full of flavour and that's really all one can ask for with some Chick-Fil-A. Overall, this is some pretty darn good aIrport food and some good food in general. If you find yourself at this airport terminal and wanting some food, this is a safe bet.

The hours posted are incorrect, were open well after 4 pm. Service was decent however all my food was cold. It was pretty busy too so I'm not sure why the food was not at the right temperature. It's probably on par with any other airport offering.

Food was good as always. Location is lackluster and doesn't appear to encompass the true Chick-Fil-A experience. I assume it is managed by a food service company rather than actual Chick-Fil-A folks. This location leaves more to be desired. Menu is limited(No strips, No ice cream, No grilled chicken biscuit, No burritos, No hash brown bowls). If you're a tea drinker, skip the tea here, it will be sour and the staff doesn't understand what that means. This is the first time I've ever eaten at this franchise and it was good but on the other hand I also don't understand the hype. I prefer Shaq's chicken restaurant over this even it's very similar. I was not the biggest fan over the sauces in particular while I love the sauces at Shaq's. I'd eat it again if I were craving it as it was not bad but it's not my favorite either.

I will never be going to this location again. Petra the asst Mgr is highly disrespectful to customers here. Sadly she has had had zero training in customer service. Never have I had a chic-fil-a location make it so difficult to receive the food you paid for. I will be calling corporate. I hate to waste so much time and energy on this but I feel like CFA is the brand that has remained committed to quality and customer service.

It's an airport restaurant so you get what you get. Long lines, long wait time for food, order came wrong, loud piano playing next to it. Staff doesn't wanna be there

I come here during every layover at dtw. It's near gate 71 in the north terminal, close to the tram stop. Though there was a line, I was ordering in less than a minute. Usually it doesn't take long to get my food once I order but this took several minutes. Service is always very pleasant and polite, like most Chick-fil-As. There is a piano with a pianist or it goes into self playing mode that is near the waiting line. There is a tip jar nearby. This is definitely the best restaurant at the airport!

Worst experience I've ever had a chick fil-a. The cashier didn't listen to our order at all. We then had to provide proof of receipt because they didn't listen and forgot two sets of fries. Unfortunate customer service, then waited for 30+ minutes to finally get all of our food. With that wait and inconvenience, it should've been comped instead of being petty. In total, we did 3 different transactions because they did not listen. Austin handled the entire situation poorly and continually harped about making sure we paid for our two medium fries even after making us wait for so long and making us feel stupid. Unfortunately, this was the cherry on top of a long day of travel delays.

Never thought I'd be giving a Chick Fil A just 2 Stars, but this one in the airport is horrible!! The whole point of a franchise is to get the same thing no matter where you go, right?!? Their #2 deluxe doesn't come with pepper jack cheese like all the rest do. So I took it back, they happily redid it. It come out with a plain chicken sandwich with pepper jack. I know they're busy, if they're too busy to do it right, hire more help! Like I said, I never thought I'd be rating a Chick Fil A 2 stars, but here it is.

It brings me so much joy that this Chick-fil-A location exists. My husband and I realized that we were entering Chick-fil-A land during our connection in Detroit and quickly checked the map. There it was! It was definitely worth running to the opposite end of the airport to get our fix before our next flight. This restaurant had the longest line of the restaurants in this area of the airport, but the employees were doing a good job of getting orders taken and prepared as quickly as possible. Our food was just as delicious as I remembered previous Chick-fil-A meals. The Spicy Deluxe Sandwich is my favorite sandwich. It's always delicious. The Waffle Potato Fries were crispy and delicious as always too. I'll definitely be back to this location during any future Detroit Airport connections!

The food was normal and consistent with other CFA locations, but it took FOREVER to get our order. Also, they charged extra to give me a warm bottled soda when I wanted an iced fountain soda. It took a while to rectify that issue.

It's like a regular Chic-Fil-A but without all the menu items, a higher price tag and rude service. Customer service does not match company standards at this store.

A Chick-fil-A at the airport? ...my prayers have been answered! The wait for the sandwiches I ordered was about 10 minutes but they were super hot and fresh. Perfect tasting! The staff are friendly here too and it looks nice and clean.

3.5/5 stars so I will round up to 4. I had about 2 hours to kill before my Vegas flight this past Saturday, and I was perusing DTW's map and saw this on it ... I had vaguely remembered hearing of a DTW Chick-fil-A, so I was stoked. I took the monorail over there, as my flight was actually at the other end of the terminal (the things I do for Chick-fil-A ...) and was excited to try this location out. I ordered my usual, the grilled chicken sandwich and also the waffle fries. I ordered it as a combo and one of the drink choices was actually bottled water, which was great. The reason this location doesn't get 5 stars from me is that the wait time to get my food was kind of long ... like 10-15 minutes. When I went to the one in Atlanta (at their airport) back in June on a layover, it was literally like FIVE minutes ... not even. I think I was finishing paying and then they handed me my food. And that location was much busier than this one was, at 10:45am on a Saturday. That being said, the food is always good at Chick-fil-A. I'm excited for the Troy location to open up this week too! Much closer to where I live than DTW's is.

Understaffed for sure!!!! They dont even have the full menu! Ill make a hard pass on this one next time around ( no grilled chicken tender or salad). The line was crazy long and moving crazy slow! No thanks!

I love Chick-fil-a but this location is horribly slow. When I got into line there was one person ahead of me, and it took me, from that point to get my food, over 15 minutes. The employees were blasé in their approach, shuffling slowly across the floor and not apologetic for the wait. Not surprisingly, my egg was way overcooked and the hash browns were cold. Avoid this location if possible.

There are limited options available in the Delta Terminal at 6am so I decided to try Chic-Fil-A for the first time in life my life. I know a reputable chef that praises this place. So I decided to give it a whirl.I ordered two chicken egg and cheese sandwiches with no bread. They were absolutely amazing, probably the best chicken I've ever tasted in my life. In the taste department it's 5 stars, but beware of these processed-trans fat laden foods.

The menu is extremely limited - they don't have salads, grilled nuggets, or soft serve - and the wait is very long. The wait to order when I visited was 30 minutes, and the food took another 10 minutes to come out. Also they were out of tomato for all the sandwiches.

Came here on a layover. It was about breakfast time. The service was okay. They only had breakfast sandwiches. I picked a chicken on a biscuit. It was nothing special. Chicken taste like a frozen chicken sandwich. Biscuit was nice and soft. Price was okay.

Conveniently located in the delta terminal near gates A72. Usually there is a long line, but they move quickly. Or at least they did the two times I've been here's. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, it was decent. Not super special, but also not made wrong. I had a sandwich and bottle water, which came to about $8.00. Pretty pricey, but expected at the airport. I would come back when waiting for the next flight at this terminal.

Terrible location 6 people behind the counter, only 2 on registers and 20 people waiting to order and 15 waiting on food. A disgrace to chick fil as everywhere. No friendly customer service and just plain crappy. Would have liked to eat here but I left the line after it didn't move for 5 minutes. Hello- this is an airport location and we don't have all freaking day for you to make a chicken sandwich. The menu is even restricted and reduced so they don't even have a full menu. How hard is it to make 6 items!?? Par for the course with every DET airport restaurant I have attempted to eat at. Save your appetite for the next airport.

I know we're all on the Chick-fil-A train right now but it's truly the best food for the money if you're doing fast food. You already know but the courteous staff just makes the food and experience even better. I've never had a rude, disrespectful, or upset Chick-fil-A employee comparatively to say at McDonald's they have no personality, no niceness, and they don't care AT ALL so for the money my money is going to Chick-fil-A!

Arrived 60 minutes before closing (at 8 pm) and waited in line for 10 minutes to get food since we have a 5 hour flight. Staff told us that they were closing and wouldn't give us food. When another customer said that their hours said open until 9 pm, they said "well ya know, it's a holiday weekend". I worked for ChickFilA for years and the Saturday after Thanksgiving wasn't considered a holiday and hours do not change for that. Perhaps the airport restaurants are different but that seems silly since a lot of people are traveling right now and there are about 35 of us standing next to ChickFilA without food. Just ruined our dinner plans. But 1 star because I got my steps in when I had to walk to the other end of the terminal and back.

I grew up with Chick -Fil- A from the late seventies In Tennessee. So when I heard one was finally opened near me In Michigan, I was jumping with joy from great memories of high school. My vanilla milkshake was great, the regular sandwich and fries were not delicious. No taste, no favor, not what I remembered. No scent???

Kind of disappointing given the outstanding service I get at every other CFA. I ordered at the kiosk that clearly states that food will be delivered to the kiosk location. After 30 minutes I went to the counter and inquired about my order and was notified that the kiosks don't work properly and my order was lost. After a small argument they filled my order but the experience was very 'non- CFA'. The corporate team should be concerned with these licensed locations that are not truly affiliated with CFA and don't follow CFA's normal customer centric philosophy. Their brand can be damaged by the yahoo's working at this location.

Do not know why this place get low rating as I read through some of the reviews and no one has said anything really back about it. Yes there is usually a long line depends on the time but they move pretty fast to get your order and get your food to you. The people there are friendly and nice. Never rude. Always has a smile on there faces. The food is ur pretty the same as every other store and sometimes you get a surprise like a couple of fries in your bag. So I am gonna give this the rating it deserves.

Absolute trash working here. Can't get an order correct for life of them. Beyond rude customer service. Will never give them business again.
