Really not impressed with this location. Over the 11 years I've lived here I've been consistently disappointed. Chick fil A sandwiches are supposed to have a chicken breast filet that is thick and covers the bun. Look at the filets I got on my sandwiches. McDonald's caliber filet for a sandwich. $5.69 for each one. These are breakfast biscuit filets that have been beaten to a pulp to desperately stretch to the edge of the bun for lunch/dinner shift. Look how thin too! Then compare it to the standard. I worked at chick fil a for 4 years, so I know!! Also, the request was extra pickles x 2 with a side of pickles. The standard is 2 pickles per sandwich. So 2 pickles, extra pickles twice, and a side of pickles... How many do you think they put on my sandwich? 4. And they didn't give me a side of pickles either. This location doesn't give a hoot about impressing people. That's okay. We'll go to Leon Springs from now on.

I was eating my chicken nuggets when I reached the nugget that was halfway open just like this picture and when I looked, it looks like there’s fly eggs inside of the chicken nugget. I’ve never had this happen to me ever and when I called the manager, she was a lady I didn’t even get her name But she told me there’s no flies flying around in the restaurant, which I highly doubt that it’s pretty easy for a fly to get in Especially with that opening right near the kitchen.. She told me there’s nothing she can do about it pretty much to call corporate, but I’m disgusted because I ate 90% of them as you can see in the background and then I realize after that there was more on top of another one.. I’m extremely disgusted and all she said is she’ll switch them out for me. I used to work at another location in San Antonio and I know my operator went above and beyond for customers, including refunds whatever especially if the customer was unable to come an drive all the way to switch out nuggets I guess this operator is not the same or atleast the staff doesn’t seem to care .. There’s gotta be more you can do for a customer earring fly eggs. It’s completely disgusting and I’m 90% sure I ate some nuggets with some on it. Update - all they did was refund me and tell me that it’s not fly eggs but Is uncooked fat .. it’s literally fly eggs grains of rice looking things LOL I wouldn’t come to this location there are plenty others around :)

Update; We came here for lunch today, August 16th. They were very busy, but the food was very good. They messed up one order, but that happens every once in awhile. We will continue to eat here. Came here for a late dinner today, July 23rd and everything was great. We dined in and the food was delicious, fresh french fries, friendly service and a nice clean dining area. We will definitely come back.

We love Chick-fil-A like everyone else but for some reason this location is just not it. The staff doesn’t smile and not as friendly. We just moved in the area and go to Chick-fil-A more than I’d like to admit and unfortunately they constantly are either getting our order wrong or missing things like sauces or plastic ware. Food is great usually until yesterday my bread was burned on my #1, which was a first for me at Chick-fil-A. Idk just seems like for this location it just isn’t the same as others.

I normally love Chick-fil-A for its professionalism and great service, but my experience with Veronica, the general manager, was beyond frustrating — and not the first time she’s shown this kind of attitude. I came through during a tight time crunch and ordered two 12-count nugget meals (with drinks and fries) and an 8-count grilled nugget meal for my daughter. Not only was one of the fries missing, but Veronica shoved everything into one single bag, cramming all the meals — including the one meant for my daughter’s school — into one sloppy package. No care to separate or organize anything. When I pointed out the missing fries and explained I didn’t have time to pls hurry… Veronica didn’t try to resolve the issue quickly, but Instead, she asked me to pull up to the front, saying she needed to look into it. I told her I don’t have time for all that, and that she could either give me the fries or charge me — either way, I needed to go. Her encounter was very argumentative. I had to ask her to let me finish speaking because she would just keep interrupting me like ma’am. Time, time, time.. I have to gooo!.>:/ She then left to ask the team where the receipt was, came back with nothing, and started asking what order number I was — like girl, I don’t have time for this..-_- She went back to search the system, wasting even more time trying to “prove her point,” instead of just handling it like a professional.! The entire thing felt like she was trying to make a scene over something that should’ve taken 10 seconds to fix.. And again, this isn’t the first time. She gave my father, a veteran, a hard time in the past as well, and he left that visit feeling disrespected. He’s one of the kindest people, and he didn’t deserve that kind of energy either. I told him if she ever acted like that again, I’d speak up — so here I am. This situation wasn’t about the fries. It was about respect, time, and professionalism. Veronica completely missed the mark on all three. For someone in a leadership role, that’s unacceptable — and not what Chick-fil-A is known for Especially considering the beautiful location at The Rim Veronica’s approach was tasteless, cheap, and beneath this establishment…

I had a run in with management, Veronica, I ordered a number one meal sandwich and they forgot to give me my fries. She refused to give me them whenever i gave her my receipt and insisted that she out them in there. Her demeanor was very condescending and rude. She had a bad attitude and seemed miserable. Even though the workers were really nice and supportive, I will never be coming back and ordering from this location ever again.

I'm a huge fan of Chick-fil-A and I'm a signature member. Order frequently all around the city especially for business and work lunches. My review specifically for this location at the Rim. I'm not sure why but every chance I've given it with over the last year, either dining in or going through drive-thru it's incredibly slow. Compared to the multitude of locations I visited it here in San Antonio it's by far the slowest one. Waiting 10 to 15 minutes slow. I'm not sure if it's just because of it's proximity to the rim, but I guess I'll try again in another few months and update if there's a change.

Ordered a Chicken Hash Brown Bowl through the Drive-Thru. Brennen took my order and charged me for a Chicken Burrito - drove home and realized I got the wrong order. Called Chick-fil-a and explained I was given the wrong thing i'm sure it was just a mistake and he marked down the wrong item at the window. Spoke with a worker (either veronica or serena) and let them know the situation - they said even if the worker confirmed it was a mistake on his end I would need to drive all the way back to chick-fil-a to bring back the burrito in order to get a refund. Ridiculous.

The cashier Caleb was wonderful and polite! Truly a great experience unlike at McDonald's or some other Chick-Fil-As. Trinity, the wonderful young woman who went around to the tables was an absolute doll! Kept coming around to ask if there was anything we needed or if she could remove things from the table. Again, absolute doll! 10/10 would come here again.

I love Chick-fil-A but this particular restaurant does not take extra care of their customers. I don't know how many times I have gone through the drive-through and have asked for or even a straw and every time I drive away (I know I need to check my bag before I drive away) I don't have napkins, sauce or a straw. I don't like giving bad reviews, but at least please have a little bit better service and make sure that everything is complete before you hand someone the bag.

Extremely slow service every time I've been there. The morning/midday staff seems really unorganized and the manager in the front is rude to her workers. I've ordered a spicy sandwich with American cheese and bacon maybe 3 times here, and every time either my cheese was incorrect, I had *literally* one piece of bacon in my sandwich, or ended up having to wait 15 minutes. Never had issues like this at De Zavala.

I don't understand what's going on here. This is the most disheveled chick-fil-a I've ever seen. Usually the model for all things right in the food industry, this location is the opposite of normal. Like entering the bizarro world. It's filthy...and there are employees everywhere. Like zombies. Every trash can is overflowing... and nobody is doing anything about it, other than the one girl that grabbed a handful of napkins and used them to push the trash down. Most tables are dirty. Food- First time in a long time that I have any complaints. But, for the first time ever, I couldn't finish my sandwich because of the poor quality. Greasy and fatty. Say something positive! Okay. The waffle fries were cooked perfectly and were actually salted. I feel like this restaurant is surviving solely on its location, which is in proximity to Six Flags, and a ton of other destinations. There are so many better places to eat in this area. This is waaaayyyyy below standard. DO BETTER CHICK-FIL-A!!!!!

They have terrible customer service, the girls are very rude and treat you like you're the stupid person. They get order wrongs and forget your sauce. It's not hard to smile and treat people like they're human or correct their mistakes. This location fails at everything. Will be going to the DeZevala location instead where the service is great.

I don't know what these other reviews (under 5) are referring to. I ordered three different times. One at the counter, one mobile order brought to the table and one mobile order pickup. All three orders were swift and I was greeted with a smile. Food was fantastic! I was just at CFA headquarters and this restaurant gets two thumbs up and is a positive impact in the community. If I could give 10 stars, I would!!! P.S. Yes I was really hungry

Just the worst . This has been the second time I've gotten food poisoning from this particular place. First time didn't put to much thought into it. But today both me and my partner are sick. With in two hours of eating we both have a really bad stomachache we both haven't left the restroom and I've thrown up 3 times . My 3 year old seems okay so far. She has the kids fried nuggets. I had the grilled 8 ct and he had the grilled salad . From the beginning when I received the food and opened the container It smelled a bit sour . Like I said didn't think much about it because we all love and trust chick fil a with how great the service is and how Super fast the food is delivered. Welp here I am 12:25 am throwing up. ****No star***

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The manager Nick was beyond unhelpful. The last time I came my sandwich was missing the cheese and my large fry wasn't full all the way. I called and he said I could get my cheese and a small fry to make up for what was missing and I went, he failed to mention that I had to come within 7 days so because of his mistake I couldn't get what they owed me. Horrible. He didn't even try to find any way to help me all he kept saying was "no, no, no" horrible ambiance. I won't be back and whataburger is where I'll be going.

Two days ago, we had a spicy grilled chicken salad and a pimento cheese chicken sandwich. Food was fresh and delivered to our table. Staff checked on us several times while we ate and cleared our table as we prepared to leave. Restaurant was clean and staff were very friendly. Awesome job everyone!

Absolutely dissapointed with my experience. Took 32 minutes to be exact to get my MOBILE order in drive through. I sat at the speaker for 11 minutes without a single word spoken. Not even a "hi I'll be right with you". Unacceptable. I ended up pulling forward to only be ignored for another 8 minutes. I could go on and on but in the end, chick fil a is known for their hospitality and great service and I cannot say this location honors that what so ever.

This chick-fil-a is located at The Rim and is convinent for Its location. One thing about this location is that it is always super busy. I have never seen the drive they lane be short ever! This means I choose to dine is since it's less chaotic. Even inside is always busy. I giving this review a four because my soup was more on the Luke warm side rather than peeping hot. My chicken sandwich and fries were made cooked to order and tasted fresh. My soup tasted as if it had been sitting out for a while. I've had many soups from here and this just happened to be my only problem. The restaurant itself was clean and the bathroom were tidy as well. The staff is always friendly and would still return in the future.

It had been years since I've been to this location and I figured most of the staff had likely turned over by now so I'd check it out - nope. After all these years, I didn't think it was even possible, but it's actually gotten WORSE here. Someone from corporate seriously needs to come down and check this out in person to fully appreciate the dumpster fire that is, this location. Order accuracy is still a nightmare - the beauty of mobile apps is that you can specify exactly how you want your items/order made. But that all goes to hell when locations decide they're just gonna make it the way they want to. And literally left out all the condiments I requested. Lastly there is no curbside here. It's pretty much drive thru and any parking is considered dine-in or curbside. If I was employee I'd quit after a day because you see them running around trying to match vehicle descriptions to what's on the order receipt and you can literally park anywhere in the lot. Seriously though - get the store operator from De Zavala to come over here and put this dumpster fire out. All the reviews can't be wrong!

I would leave no stars if i could. It started when they mixed up my order and gave me a Chicken biscuit instead of Chicken egg and cheese that I ordered. At first they were swift with apologies and said that they would add my name to a list that will expire in 7 days. I come back today to redeem my remake and they tell me "There is no evidence that this interaction happened." Then they tried to brush me away as if I was inconveniencing them. I try to explain I called and show them my online receipt and that it was unacceptable that I would have to be overcharged due to a clerical error on their end. After waiting a while, she comes back saying not to try this again and they will do it just this once. I was fine with that. Until I drive home, take a bit of my remake and my chickfila sandwich... is missing the chicken. I call back AGAIN and then she tried to blame me, saying she cant do anything for me and that this was my problem now. I will not be coming back to this Chickfila and this is a TERRIBLE representation of what Chickfila service is like.

This is the worst chicfila I've ever been to. Drive thru on a slow day took 25 - 30 minutes to get through. The order taker left our line and communicated with no one. We waited while multiple cars got their order taken before us. When we finally ordered and got to the front. 6 cars behind us were served before we were. They asked up to move up and wait longer and we refused because it had taken too long and asked to see the manager. when he came out, he handed the food to us barley said a word and offered no apology for the wait. Acted like we were wasting his time. It was a young male in his mid to late 20 with black rimmed glasses. Horrible horrible. Fix it.

Ordered a 12 count and a large fry, it stated that exactly on the bag too. Someone obviously checked my back because they put the sauces I wanted in there. They gave me a 8 count instead and I guess it's my fault for not checking before I left but I called when I got home to get my right order and was left on hold for 10 minutes and then was hung up on so I never got a resolution. Will be driving back up there later.

I was eating in the lobby, the food was great. But it bothered me that one of the employees was a bit upset. Not sure if it was a internal management issue or personal issue. Something definitely seemed a bit off. I believe it was about management. If it is a management issue, it is unbelievable for a employee being treated in a way that it will have them physically upset.

As a Chick-fil-A employee, I was pretty disappointed with the service. They forgot all our ice cream cups, straws, utensils, and napkins. Basically, everything I needed for my food. I was staying at a hotel, so I didn't have utensils. The employees were not paying attention (my Chick-fil-A store does not tolerate that, so I was surprised). We also waited 10 minutes for a shake. I am very disappointed. I hope the operator adds some employee expectations.

I visited this Chick-fil-A after marching in the MLK Memorial March! We brought a small party of people to this location knowing it was a little more spacious and could accommodate a larger group. The restaurant was very busy around 2:00 when we arrived, but we made it through the line quickly, even with adding in our free 8 count nugget coupons. We were able to find a table for 6 in the middle and just added the additional chair we needed. Throughout our meal, wait staff came by to ensure we had everything we needed from refills, to taking our trash away for us and bringing me my ice cream cone that I requested to receive later. If you're shopping in and around the Rim be sure to check out this CFA! Parking may be tricky in high traffic times, so you may have to park across the way at another restaurant or shop!

Went through the drive thru on my way out of town for a week. I am driving--- I notice my salad is inedible because of breaded nuggets and not grilled, which is what I paid for. I am back in my neighborhood after being gone a week, stop by Chick-fil-A and explain to manager what happened last week with my almost $9 dollar salad that I never got to eat because I am G.I. and can't eat breaded nuggets. Anthony is snippy and disrespectful, tells me they needed me to return the week old salad, even though I had the original receipt. I asked if a picture would be enough and he told me yes. I had to wait for my aunt to send the week old salad picture with breaded nuggets as I was house sitting and she had a late night flight and wasn't able to take the pic until about an hour ago. So I return today with the picture and receipt And the female manager and Anthony would not try to make this right and at least give me a gift card. Instead they told me I needed to call that day so they could put me on a list... anyone off the street could do that! I am here with a receipt and picture! I find it rude and disrespectful coming from my neighborhood Chick-fil-A. At this point it's the principle of the matter as well as the fact that I was going through the drive thru should be a clear indication that I am 80% likely to be traveling and eating. Now you want me to call to be put on a list of remakes of which you're going to give me anyway if I had called. With inflation and gas prices out of hand I think $8.69 is a bit steep to just throw away and give to this wealthy corporation. I have a teenager who loves Chick-fil-A but this corporation just gave her a learning lesson-- greedy corporation who isn't neighborly and down right thieves. We will not ever return to a Chick-fil-A and I will be sure to request within my entire family circle that we boycott the greedy corporation. Greedy corporation with rigid rules that are selfish and money hungry. This is just as well too because 90% of the time my order is incorrect, however I have not decidedto mention it but this is ridiculousness. This particular location could not only use some work with accuracy but they also need to work on their community skills. This location does not hold the values of any Chick-fil-A I have ever patroned. The management are indecent and do not deserve to hold their positions because they absolutely DO NOT uphold any values of the Chick-fil-A way.

I love Chick-fil-a! This is my first time going to this location as I was shopping at the Rim. If you haven't downloaded the Chick-fil-A app, you are missing out. I love how Chick-fil-A gives a free offer when the Spurs win throughout the 2019-2020 season. It is always a surprise on what the item is till you see it in the app. I came in around 5pm, and there was no line. I had no problem redeeming my free item and they were generous in giving me the sauces I want. It was a short wait but I wish they would give me napkins as it was a carry out.

They block off half the parking lot for curbside and no real way to effectively park. When asked to move there's no easy way to get to the spots. I get that's it's a busy fast food restaurant but make it easier to get in and out of the parking lot. Don't go to this location.

Then the cones are blocking the entrance we went in. Not our fault that you are the only chic-fil-a in America who can't get your line going correctly.

Their drive through is a shit show. It wasn't always like this, but seems to have slipped to McD's level of efficiency. Clearly, unmotivated associates taking orders and provide no order to the rest of the drive through process. The perfect storms for orders getting mixed up, backed up, and customers irritated. I will say, customer behavior is a factor, there are those that focus on food and makes bad decisions. You show up tenth in line, but think your car should be first to the window. This is what happens with gluttons are not given structure. Just like their waist, things get out of control.

I live and work in The Rim area so I visit this location about 3 times a week on average. I always order curbside through their app and it usually gets to me in a timely manner and warm. The biggest issue is that most of the time they forget to put utensils with my order which is not convenient when at work. I also always order my fries without salt but sometimes they still have salt on them. Usually they are very cheerful and quick to fix my order

I might be at fault for not asking for a spoon with my Mac and cheese. Let's just come to an agreement and just put spoons in the bag whenever there's food that need spoons. I'm now in the middle of the 6 flags parking lot being creative with what I got! I turned a (-) into a (+) but for the sake of someone else in the future, please take this review seriously.

If I could leave less than one star I would. Too busy worrying about a competition instead of paying attention to orders being placed then wants to charge an up charge when they got the order wrong. Full of attitude filled workers, NOT how a chick fil a normally runs.

They start turning people away to go to the drive through at 9pm even though the hours on the door say 10pm. Now I know why the majority of the ratings are 1 star.
