If you’re choosing delicious convenience food want to start your morning out right, go to this location. Why? Because Manuel (a retired chef for the local hospital) is there ready to greet you and ensure there’s a smile on your face. He’s a morning person and will cheer you up with just a few words. This location is lucky to have such a gem behind the counter. He enjoys working with people and it shows. I usually go to the location in RWC for the drive thru. I will return to this location just to exchange some pleasantries with Manuel, which is sure to brighten my day.

I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but this has happened too many times now. I ordered a large waffle fries today, and once again, the portion was ridiculously small — barely half full. It feels more like a medium at best. This isn’t the first time either. I really love Chick-fil-A, but it’s frustrating to keep getting shorted on something I paid extra for. Please take this seriously — customers expect consistency and honesty when ordering.

The restaurant experience at this location is amazing. Cesar was a great help, despite how busy it was he took my order super efficiently and took his time to explain what combos and meals are the best. Thank you so much for making the Chick-fil-A experience as amazing as possible, this location is so clean and well operated!

Had to get some work done and the place was just perfect! Got Breakfast here and Lunch too! Amazing service! There was a staff member, Manuel, who just could not stop being nice to every single person who walked in. He would come to each table and make sure we are doing well! Ofc - every one of his colleagues had a smile as well!

We had a great experience at the Chick-fil-A in Bridgepointe, San Mateo. The service stood out—staff were incredibly patient and kind while taking our kids’ orders, and they even mentioned the cheese type on my sandwich, which helped me realize I had selected the wrong one. The cashier quickly and cheerfully corrected it for me. Our food was brought right to our table, and everything arrived hot and freshly made. The burgers and nuggets were tasty, but the real standout was the waffle fries—hands down the best we’ve had at any Chick-fil-A. Perfectly crispy and flavorful. We liked them so much we went back for a second order to share. Restaurant is clean and orderly, there’s even a basket for people to place unopened sauce containers into so they don’t get thrown into the trash. Parking is easy. Our kids weren’t initially excited to eat here, but by the end of the meal, they were fans—especially of the nuggets. Great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back!

Very clean neat and organized with plenty of friendly staff to keep the wait time down. The food was good quality all except for the new paper serving boxes for the salads aren’t so amazing but over all brand new location and they are very friendly and organized.

I usually visit restaurants with my wife or kids, but this time I found myself flying solo and decided to stop by Chick-fil-A. I’ve been to many Chick-fil-A locations over the years, and this one lived up to the brand’s reputation—consistently great food and service. Since I was alone, I sat near the front and had a great view of the restaurant's operations. It was impressive to watch how smoothly everything ran. A special shoutout goes to Manuel, who was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly kind and attentive—quickly cleaning my table before I sat down and offering to refill my Sunjoy (half iced tea, half lemonade). Chick-fil-A’s Sunjoy is one of my favorite Arnold Palmer-style drinks, and the free refills are a nice bonus. The atmosphere was clean and modern, which makes sense given that this location seems fairly new. I also appreciated the separate entrance for pickup orders—something I haven’t seen at other Chick-fil-A locations. And of course, the waffle fries were as delicious as ever. Although it wasn’t on this visit, I often come with my kids. One small issue we’ve consistently run into: my son’s kids’ meal includes ice cream, and while we always ask for it to be brought out after the meal, it tends to come with the food instead. Not a dealbreaker, just a recurring detail we’ve noticed here. Overall, another solid experience—and yes, I’ll definitely be back!

Food was amazing and the service even better! More than 5 stars to Manuel, what a professional and kind person he gave me my wife and my son a wonderful experience!

Service was excellent. The staff would walk around checking on customers. I had my toddler and couldn't get any hot sauce. The staff said he could get it for me. He return shortly after with my hot sauce. They even asked if I wanted my table cleaned before i sat. The place was very clean Food was warm, crunchy and good portions. I will return

I do know usually review fast food restaurants but I wanted to leave a review for this Chick Fil A about a certain employee. There is a guy working there. His name is Ed. He is very nice and well mannered. I have since him twice already and both times he has been helpful and very friendly. I just would like to compliment him because he seems like a great guy and he goes above and beyond. So thank you Ed and I hope to see you again. You always make sure my son and I have a pleasant visit at Chick-fil-A

Amazing food, ambiance, and service! I typically enjoy almost every chik-fil-a visit. Today, I visited with my family and the staff treated us so well. Shoutout to Naz! Would definitely come here again.

Chick-fil-A Just Gave Me 6-7 Sauces and Threw My Life Into Spiraling Joy So Chick-fil-A handed me 6-7 sauces today -- which is hysterical because I only ordered ONE meal. Like... hello? Did they sense my emotional instability through the drive-thru speaker?? Anyway, I counted them and it was technically six, but spiritually? Sixteen. The math is irrelevant. The vibe is immaculate. My brain immediately went feral: 1. "OH. WE'RE DOING THIS." I opened that bag like it was a Hogwarts acceptance letter. 2. Instant serotonin Each sauce packet added +5 to my mental health bar. Six sauces later? I'm basically unstoppable. 3. Pure millennial chaos I'm over here dipping my waffle fry into three sauces at once like a raccoon that got into a Crayola box. Mixing Chick-fil-A sauce with Polynesian like I'm conducting a forbidden ritual. 4. Existential crisis Do I need this many sauces? No. Will I use all six? Also no. Will I hoard them in my fridge door like Pokémon cards for the next 3-5 business years? Absolutely. Final thoughts? 1000/10 Chick-fil-A didn't just give me sauces -- they gave me PURPOSE. Six packets of joy. Six reminders that life can still surprise me in a good way. Six reasons I'll be emotionally unavailable for the rest of the day. Honestly, this was the greatest thing that's happened to me since Target put Stanley cups on clearance. AND THEN A super nice worker (like genuinely could be a Disney princess if he wanted to be) looks over at my brother -- who is literally crippled -- and without hesitation goes: "Would you like a cookie? It's on me." EXCUSE ME MA'AM??? A FREE. COOKIE. OUT OF PURE KINDNESS?? My emotional response was not stable: 1. My heart: "This is the nicest thing anyone has done for our family since Netflix stopped auto-fitting subtitles to the smallest font known to man." 2. My brain: "We don't deserve her. Put her in charge of the DMV. Make her President." 3. My soul: "Chick-fil-A just speed-ran my healing journey by giving us six sauces AND a free cookie. This is peak hospitality." Meanwhile, the chaos continues: I'm over here dipping fries into three sauces at once like a feral raccoon. My brother is vibing with his free cookie like it's a Pixar short film. The worker who blessed us is floating away on a cloud of customer-service excellence. And I'm just sitting there thinking: "This... THIS is what millennials mean when we say self-care."

chick-fil-a to me is comparable to the chicken sandwich version of an in-n-out...each location is well run and organized...prefer a beef burger over a chicken sandwich, but chick-fil-a does it well...not a huge fan, but the chicken sandwiches are decent once you find how you like your sandwiches made...variety of sauces available from basic mayo to sweet bbq...original sauce is like a honey mustard sauce...waffle fries are always golden...chicken sandwiches are always consistent...one new discovery were the salads....the cobb salad with the avocado lime ranch $11.19 is tasty...a spicy chicken deluxe will cost $8.25, but making it a meal with waffle fries and soda will cost $13.85...kid's meals available and taking the fried nuggets $8.29 and taking waffle fries and soda which was included...overall, a good fried chicken sandwich meal...no drive-thru at this location...

I'd give this place negative stats if I could. Been waiting almost 30 Min for a mobile order - no one else waiting, no one inside yet at least a dozen people Working. Not worth it

My breakfast sandwich was so burnt that it was inedible. Very sad way to start my morning :( This is not a first time occurrence (my sandwiches are always burnt at this location)

Ordered with Ed Team leader for dine in sat and waited for 30 minutes noticed a lot Of people getting there food before us got up and asked about our order with the receipt and they stated they did not have our order spoke with Ed and all he said was he will give us a refund he didn't know what happened left with a refund and no food wasn't even a option to give us our food or even a estimate how long. Left without food and not even a sorry for the inconvenience

We were regular weekly customers, but unfortunately the customer service has declined to the point where we no longer feel comfortable returning. The female cashiers are often unprofessional, talking and laughing among themselves while customers wait to be served. Today, the behavior of a cashier named Jemena and another young female cashier was particularly disappointing. The level of hospitality is far from what we expect from Chick-fil-A.

New chick-fil-a! Visited on a Friday night. The line was about a 5 min wait and the food took about 5 min. Pretty speedy given how long the line looked! The food here was well made. We ordered 2 spicy deluxe chicken sandwich meals. Delicious as always. The waffle fries were fried perfectly as well. The inside of the restaurant was clean and you could easily eat here but we took it to go. There is no drive through but they do have a mobile pickup order section that is separate from everything else. But man when did fast food get so expensive?! $30 for 2 meals.

A welcome addition to the choices of places to grab a bite at the Bridgepointe shopping center. I love that there is ample indoor seating (booths too) and not to mention lots of parking. There's outdoor seating as well. The service staff is courteous and helpful. The Chick-fil-a Deluxe sandwich and the Chick-n-strips were freshly made. The tables and chairs were clean and the place is pleasant and well-maintained. I sure hope they keep it up.

Food was good and consistent with other locations. Service with a frown and mumbles was provided by Jimena. Half the tables in the restaurant were empty and available for seating, but seats and tables were absolutely filthy and covered with grease and food. The bathroom was worse. It was a completely unwelcoming experience at this location.

I love CFA, what can I say, Waffle fries and nuggets always make my day. Super sour lemonade, tart and bright, A delicious sip that feels just right. Mobile orders, quick to retrieve, From the pickup station you won't believe. Kindness and flavor, always on display CFA at Bridgepoint, you're perfect in every way!

I'm a fan of Chik-fil-A so of course I love this spot too. It's crazy that I didn't try Chik-fil-A until several years ago. Lol... I love their chicken nuggets, spicy chicken sandwiches, chicken noodle soup, waffle fries, cookies-n-cream shake, and the mac-n-cheese. Service is fast and friendly. No complaints. :)

Great to see another ChickfilA on the Peninsula! This one doesn't have drive-thru, but super convenient to order on the app and go to the separate pickup area. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors and never had a problem finding parking as it's in to the large Bridgepointe Shopping Center. We prefer this location to the Redwood City one since it's a lot bigger. As always, friendly service and hot & fresh food. A joyful place for us! Not a surprise to see ChickfilA ranked #1 among nationwide chains in sales per restaurant, and by a wide margin too.

I had such a nice breakfast experience at this Chick-fil-A location this morning. This review is really to give five stars for the customer service; it felt like the service of a sitdown restaurant! The cashier kindly walked me through redemption of my rewards points. The employee who brought us our food - which came out so fast! - noticed that my companion didn't order any drink, so she offered to bring him a water. Employees whisked away our trash and were very available. And the chicken nugget breakfast burrito is the best thing they've ever invented. The women's bathroom is also clean and well-maintained. Good parking in the morning when the traffic at Bridgepointe is low!

I got my Chick fil A fix after a long time. I tried the Honey Pepper Pimento Sandwich for the first time and it was a hit along with the waffle fries. Left stuffed and satisfied with a smile.

Decided to order the Egg White grilled chicken sandwich meal on DoorDash and it was made with scrambled eggs and not egg whites. Pretty disappointing.

Chick Fil A has changed so much over the past two years! Their food is not worth it. I ordered a spicy deluxe, the bun was so stale and crumbled. My entire sandwich fell apart and my chicken was so thin. I used to go to chick fil a quite regularly but my past few experiences have been terrible so definitely won't be eating here anymore :(

He didn't just take our order--he took the time to chat, crack jokes, and make us laugh. It's rare these days to find someone who clearly loves what they do and brings so much positivity to their workplace. Manuel went above and beyond to make sure everything was right with our food, checked in on us while we were eating, and created such a fun, light-hearted atmosphere. I don't frequent Chick-fil-A much, but my fiancé was hungry and they were nearby. Located in Bridgepoint Plaza, there's abundant parking at no cost. No drive through at this location, only walk in. They have a separate side for online order pick up and for dine-in/take out. We opted for one of their chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, and waffle fries. The fries were good and fresh. The chicken nuggets were really salty so their dipping sauce helped. My fiancé devoured the sandwich so I'm not sure how he liked it. Overall, the meal was okay, but it's nothing to be impressed about. The nuggets are also smaller than the ones at McDonald's so..

Best customer service I've received at a chic fil a to date. The team was lovely, friendly and fast! Manuel was great and gave me an extra sauce right to my seat when I went looking for more. Location is sparking clean.

I kept on forgetting there is a new chick fila here in San Mateo as I'm so used to go to Daly City, Redwood City or Sunnyvale for it. This is in the same plaza with target so a great location if you happen to come here. The seating seems fewer than other chick fila and I felt service is slower but it could just be anecdotal. Overall it's a decent chick fila if you've been to one.

Spacious location with plenty of parking. I like that it doesn't have a drive-thru. No line at 2pm on a weekday. Food was fresh (crispy fries, etc). Staff was friendly. Space was clean. I appreciate the basket where you can leave/take extra sauces. Only downside is Chick-fil-A is now up to $15 for a meal. That's a lot for fast food and will keep me from coming as often as I'd like.

OK, it finally opened and this is the first time I've had a CFA meal. I've heard lot about CFA and I finally got to try it. Had to get there earlier to avoid the crowds and was greeted with friendly staff. I had the meal and the food was very good. The spicy samich wasn't spicy for me but then, I eat heat at a Dave's Insanity Sauce signed edition level so I certainly didn't expect the samich to meet that level. The waffle fries were very good and I love their squeeze catsup packet, which keeps your hands cleaner than the typical packet. Since the drinks dispenser was not self serve and operated by the staff behind the counter, I asked about refills and yes, they do provide that, however, I would think during busy hours it would be difficult to get a staff member to fill your cup. Do you have to stand in line to with customers to get a refill? That could take awhile. Self serve would be best. Parking is easily available so that's not a problem. I would certainly come back again.

Went to get a little snack , got my food quick and right away got greeted by this very nice gentleman. Believe his name was Manuel..not to sure but I felt very satisfied with my meal and the environment was clean. Was asked if I needed anything or extra sauce. Don't understand the 3.5 rating but my experience was 5/5 stars

Great food and service! The food was ready right away. It gets busy but it's not loud.

Really wanted to try this because their ad for the honey pimento sandwich looked so good. Sorely disappointed - it looked smaller and looked nothing like how i expected. The taste was not bad, but nothing special either. Had the criss cut fries as well, which is in the same boat. I also tried their banana coffee - barely got through half. Really just not worth the calories. It's nice tho that they take off cents when you customize to take off ingredients on your order.

I love Chick fil A ... most of their locations are clean n are mostly stock with condiments etc.. they are not cheap about ketchup n their ambience is always so inviting.... I like how they have a separate pick up location next door so the walk in customer get better n quicker service... I recommend you come to this location quick n very inviting

New Chick-fil-A at Bridgepointe. Restaurant is clean and not so chaotic like the Daly City one. Service is prompt and the order came out accurately, unlike the Daly City one. Food tastes the same. The salad curiously did not come with a side of crispy bell peppers.

Tried it for the first time tonight. Overall nothing spectacular. My wife and I ordered the Spicy Chicken deluxe meal. Although hers was ok, mine was quite darker in color and was rubbery. You have to select what sauce packet you want otherwise it come without condiments. Mayo, mustard and ketchup are available. The waffle fries were good. The meals were over $28 for 2. A bit pricey for what you got. The server could use some personality and further training. I was expecting much better considering the company. Oh well I guess I can I've tried it. Will I go back...I don't know. I was impressed for the price.

Stopped by after a long day of volleyball games with my daughter and the place was packed even close to closing time. We both enjoyed our spicy chicken sandwiches, mine with no bun as it is always consistent. Amazing service and quality food every time!!

I adore this special amazing Chick-Fil-A. I love the service, the clean environment, the food. The chicken isn't too salty and greasy like you would expect it to be. It tasted fresh, the mean is always cooked to perfection, and the fries are heavenly. When you dine-in the servers bring you your food to a table which is more high-end than you would expect. I absolutely hate paper straws, always thought why not keep the plastic straws and instead have a paper cup? Chick-Fil-A does just that. This is the best fast food place in comparison to McDonalds, Burger King, Taco bell, etc.

Service was excellent and tastes just like any other chick fil a, obviously super packed as it's a new store. Leaving a star off because they gave me 2 orders of fries when I only ordered one so I paid for two; and I asked for no pickles on my sandwich and still got pickles. So if anyone is allergic to pickles that could have been a real safety concern. Hopefully the new workers get it correct next time.

Olifera, I believe her name was, is a spectacular person. Her hospitality alone made my experience 5 stars at this clean well maintained establishment. She is very kind and professional and really easy to talk to, like a Michelin star waiter. You used to hear things about chic fil a workers being really nice. Well it's cemented for me in my book. Please don't come here one minute before closing. 10 times out of 10 no restaurant will take your order. I got lucky Oleifera was on duty. She made our night. also food was good great sauce.

IVE never ever experienced food poisoning like i did from this place, i was shititng and vomitting pure stomach acid for 24hours after having a chicken sandwich here, 100% wouldn't even want my worst enemy to experience what i experienced here, it was so bad, im looking for legal consequences right now, shut this place down

Stopped by after my target run and realized it was their day 1 of opening. Immediately greeted by smiling faces and an army of staff. I ordered the minis meal like I typically would and everything came out fresh and cooked well. Will see how consistent they are after a few months but they are off to a great start.

Honestly baffled by the other reviews for this location being so harsh. Mistakes happen or things go out of stock, especially if the location is new and gets slammed for its anticipated opening. Doesn't really warrant a harsh 3 stars in my opinion. Anyway, for my review: this is a pretty new establishment, and it was desperately needed for the area. I love it. It's just as good as any Chick-fil-A where the food is delicious, the workers are super nice, and the location is the cleanest of any chain restaurant. Food is always prepared well and quickly, even during peak hours. I literally have not had any issues, and I love having another great option to eat at in the area. Yes, the price is like $15 for a meal, but welcome to the Bay Area in 2024. Even if I had a mistake or inconvenience happen (in that case, it is what it is), this location still deserves 5 stars with how they uphold the gold standard for fast food.

I ordered and all I see is the staff gossiping and laughing to each other while I waited 10 mins for my food. When I saw my order they never put the amount of sauces I asked for or put on my order. They really need to up their service. They never say thank you or anything.

Finally, the first place that I have enjoyed their chicken strips in , the waffle fries are my favorite. Extremely exceptional service, clean, fresh flowers on each table, it feels fresh and lovely. The place has no stench of chicken at all. It is welcoming, and I recommend this restaurant for the family and kids.

The food was delicious and incredibly, I especially enjoyed the Mac n cheese. The service is perfect, in addition the food arrives really fast, in about 1 minute or less maybe two but way faster than other places. The environment was calm and it felt safe, everything about the experience was great.

Brand new location, within days of opening. I'm not a Chick-fil-A regular, so perhaps unfamiliar with what to expect, but this location does not offer curbside, whereas the Redwood City spot does, which is very convenient. Here, I'm sort left wondering why use the app at all? I ordered, and was notified of their innovative feature that says they begin making the order as they see, from your real time location, that you are on the way! Sounds cool! Meh. I ordered, waited a bit to let them perhaps see it, and then headed over. On arriving, I see that they don't offer curbside, but instead have pick-up parking spots, and "pick-up" wait area inside. When I looked at the app, it showed they didn't begin my order till I'd actually arrived, so I got to stand in the pick up room, and wait as long as if I'd simply went to their counter. I don't really get the point, except to perhaps have less contact with counter persons? But the price... I get that things are more expensive these days, but $14 + for 4 small(er) strips and undercooked waffle fries, is no bargain. Not sure I'll return, and instead will happily travel the distance to the "Raising Canes®" that is soon to open in Daly City!

First time having a sandwich at Chick-fil-A. I do not understand what people like about this place. Processed bread, on top of a mushy chicken fillet, with processed cheese, and a small piece of lettuce and tomato. It is one of the worst chicken sandwiches I've had. Will not be patronizing this establishment, their terrible bigotry and polices are bad enough , but the food is worse.

Food was very good, employees were kind. until we went to the WOMENS bathroom my sister was using the restroom when we hear a MALE employee come in while using the toilet and we both felt VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! He was standing by the door like wanting us and another woman to get out, he was holding the door open then as soon, as we get out HE WALKS INTO THE WOMEN'S BATHROOM & CLOSES THE DOOR WITH ANOTHER FEMALE EMPLOYEE IN THERE practically locks himself in there with her. She looked very scared before we walked out. Very concerning... I hope this doesn't happen to other people at this location !!!

New Chick Fil A location that gave a great first impression. As someone who has gone to Chick Fil A regularly for years in other states, I'm real happy to have this in San Mateo now. Don't really understand the other negative reviews.

This was the worst chicken sandwich I've eaten (if you can even call it one). The chicken was almost paper thin and it was as if I was eating bread on bread. The only reason they're getting 2 stars is due to the very friendly and attentive.
