What is the point of having 3 lanes when you don't have enough staff to service all 3 lanes? 2 lines go down and down and the third sits for 20 minutes waiting for an attendant to start taking orders. Insanity. Always. What is the point of your stupid app to order ahead, if you won't start making my damn food until I'm at the restaurant?! I'm stuck waiting the same amount of time, it's ridiculous. Your entire system is wacked.

My favorite order is spicy checken sandwich and a large chicken noodle soup. They are getting busy and popular in Santa Barbara. Therefore, this is affecting the quality of service negatively. My favorite chicken noodle soup was not hot enough. Just the room temperature. I had to call the manager

They forgot my sandwich and I was too far away before I realized it. They took forever. They verified my order multiple times but still missed part of it. They were all very friendly though 😆

Regular, chicken burger spot, nice for youngsters. There is a drive in option with the car also. We tried spicy chicken menu. It was all okey for a fast food place.

Bit into a regular chic Fil a sandwich and it was disgusting…. A tendon or ligament was definitely present. Nuggets were dry and made me gag…. Gross!!! Their soup is the only thing worth eating and it’s ridiculously expensive….. I do not get the appeal of this so called restaurant….. Popeyes RULES chicken. Oh, the “waffle fries” are dreadful…. Nobody serves those stupid versions of FRENCH FRIES….

I’ve never had such a bad experience at a Chick-fil-A until visiting the Santa Barbara location. From start to finish, the service was just plain awful. Nobody came to take my order, so I ended up having to place it on my phone while standing at the counter. The food came out before the drinks, and it took an extra 5 minutes just to get an iced coffee and chocolate milk—by then, the food was getting cold. When I asked for the missing sauce and creamer, I got eye rolls from the staff instead of any kind of courtesy. Really disappointing, especially since Chick-fil-A is usually known for great service.

I had a great experience at this Chick-fil-A location! The staff were extremely polite and respectful, and the customer service was truly outstanding. The food was fresh and delicious, and the whole place was spotless and well-maintained. Even though it was busy, everything was handled efficiently and with a smile. Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for quality food and top-notch service!

The manager Janet, along with a team member Arturo had the audacity to laugh at me. When I asked for the amount of nuggets I paid for. They shortchanged me and then laughed at me to my face for asking for the amount that I paid for. I have no idea why that was so funny. If I paid money for something and you do not give me that in total why not just give me the amount that I asked for?

Extremely busy, as all chick-fil-a's are, but staff was still nice and accommodating. Had my meal out in minutes. If I was to nic-pic... all of the tables were not clean. Stuff (crumbs, spills, etc.) left over from other guests.

Literally Every time I order in the app it's for a reason. Many times I've been trying, Hoping the next time will be fast, Not happening, Please do something about this issue, Wast of time, gas etc . Still have to wait a few minutes for the order, Many times they just don't know I'm there in line.

This Chick is on fire This Chick is on fire Sauce dippin' on fire... I've had to stop a few times on my long drives for work and this Chick-fil-A has always been on point. I've sat to eat and ordered on the mobile app for pick up. Service has been fast and friendly even with the rush. They do have a changing table in the men's restroom (finally). Overall very clean inside and out. It's not too far off the 101 freeway so you can hop right back on after you enjoyed your meal. The food has been good and fresh. Crispy fries and ask for your favorite sauces. Grilled Spicy Deluxe w/ Colby Jack Meal was tasty, nice little spice to it (secretly wish I had more hot sauce to add) and I felt healthy (yeah I know it probably isn't). Overall good experience and good food. God bless

The spicy chicken sandwich is my go to. I haven't eaten inside this location since pre covid. I usually go to the drive thru, it was super clean and plenty of seating. Though while we were in line we thought we might have to go outside to enjoy our meal. Staff was super friendly and said my pleasure each time they served us. The flowers on the tables were real!! Super cute carnations, felt cutesy and inviting. Would come back to enjoy a meal inside

Chik-fil-A Santa Barbara is one of my favorite spots to grab food when I'm on the run. The food is always cooked to the same great standard at any of the other Chik-fil-A restaurants I've been too. You can't beat their spicy chicken sandwich! The staff is always friendly and quick to serve your meal. They even expanded their drive through to meet the need of the customers. Inside, the place is always clean and kept up. Keep up the great work!

I just went here on Monday 7/14 and received 5 pieces when I ordered an $11 12-count nugget. I am a working college student and to be ripped off like this really sucks. Employees seemed like they hated their job too.

First of all, you always know what you're going to get at Chick-fil-A. In our case, my daughter in law is 9 days past her baby's due date and the only thing that sounded good is chick fil a nuggets and Mac n cheese. So I placed the order and double checked because it seemed like a good idea. Lo and behold, no Mac n cheese. So David C gets a shout out from me. He saw the problem and solved it by asking what size Mac n cheese would be good? I said large and he brought it out with a smile on his face, happy to make the order right. Thanks, David C. This is one happy customer. Hope it brings on the birth of my first grandbaby soon!

Not sure what's going on with the chicken at this chain but the quality is bad - must be all locations. Not worth the $$

Standard chick fil A. Spicy chicken sandwhich. Big drive through and parking on either side.

When you stop for a meal and there are 4 teenagers throwing food running in the restrooms and causing a scene and the manager does nothing even after it is brought to their attention. Very poor management. Poor workers had to keep cleaning after these kids and the manager did nothing. Horrible area chic Fil a too bad

We went through the drive through and they forgot to take our order. However a nice employee named Lucca took our order at the front and they got it to us fast. Great service!

This review is only based on the customer service provided by "Yesenia" said on her name tag . Was very rude to us and had a bad attitude. Walked in was not welcomed in and I wouldn't have mind it if she didn't look at us up and down with a stank face . But greeted the people who walked in after us . Took our order and you could just feel she wanted to rush us it was not busy ...

I went here for the first time via drive thru. There was no menu display like other fast food joints. Several lines of cars were next to each other. Employees come up to you with their devices and take your order. My buddy told me that's just how it is and you have to know what you want when you get there. I got a spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries. It was tasty but I was expecting it to be really amazing. The hype on the internet led me to that train of thought. I'd eat here again. But I just think it's overrated.

Consistently one of the slowest CFAs ive ever been to. Need to plan for at least 30 minutes in line every time you go.

I used the love their chicken noodle soup. I was disappointed to find that it was very watered down, and did not have the flavor I remembered.

This Chick-fil-a needs to learn from its competitor In-N-Out. Their new drive thru process is smooth and efficient, whereas this recently updated drive thru is worse than before. The only difference is they added a third line and then parking spaces to wait. It's luck of the draw; if you choose to fill in the wrong line, you'll wait forever while everyone else's food is being made. The staff wasn't friendly, not apologetic for the wait. Once I received my meal, the fries were cold and chicken club sandwich was nothing special. Even as a club with bacon and cheese it's basic with not much flavor. Based on this, I don't plan on returning.

4th time I go there with the family and they claim they don't do shakes only for Mobile orders. When I asked why? They said it was a decision based on the people inside for the day, but yet.... You see the staff drinking shakes as they are helping the drive thru. How and why you would limit a customer to only certain items in the menu. Very dissatisfied!

It has a very interesting layout for their drive through. There are three lanes and at the end of the lane there is one guy frantically rushing bags of food to all three lines. The food was normal and definitely hits the spot when you're craving a chicken sandwich.

They really have done a good job of cleaning up the chaos that the drive thru line had been for a while. Servers are so nice, young people working hard. Food is always good. Happy it's here in town and doing well!

Chick fil a has the nicest people. The food is always solid, the service is always great, and the consistency across their locations means that you know what you're in for. Contemplating chick fil a for dinner tonight. Big bonus on the grilled chicken nuggets for a special treat for your dogs, I get it every year for my dog's birthday. I may or may not steal some of her birthday nuggets, good thing she doesn't know that.

Weirdness from staff. I asked for a veterans discount and was told that the local discontinued the veterans discount. I had been a regular customer previously receiving the discount so I asked the attendant (a young Latina female with glasses) to check. She seemed annoyed, walked to the window and quietly walked back and started "you need to be in uniform." Difficult to do if you're a veteran. I proceeded with my order and thought maybe I came across as pushy for asking the attendant to check. I received my order and after leaving the drive through discovered that my order was totally wrong, e.g , ordered iced tea - received a coke, ordered grilled chicken nuggets - received breaded nuggets, requested bbq sauce - received ranch. And most of all a passive aggressive tone from the attendant leads me to believe they have issues customer service issues at this location.

Absolutely loveee chick fil a, fried chicken sandwhich? What's there not to love. Service is always 10/10 So happy they've finally figured out the parking lot on upper state street.

Good chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Great Oreo milkshakes. Stellar service. That's about all I can say!

Family combo meal is awesome if you're looking for sandwiches and fries to satisfy your hunger. The chicken sand was delicious. The spicy deluxe chicken sandwich was tasty too. Can't go wrong with the fries. The Mac& cheese was good too, but don't let it stand for too long bc it gets nasty when cold. Whenever doing drive through, the servers always hook up the sauces with the exact count I request. This recent order was placed through door daah. I placed orders for specific sauces and to my surprise, no sauces included in my order. Somewhat disappointing bc I had to just use ketchup from the fridge. It's a shame to wait 30 minutes and realize part of the order was incomplete, but I figure it was a fluke. The food was great so I'm keeping the review at 5 :) Thanks again for the great

Jannet and Thomas definitely did their thing went out their way to help me after I lost my card. They were generous enough and professional, and efficient enough to help me replace it.

This location is pretty far off of the freeway. I thought it was closer than wha I remembered. There's parking available onsite and the spaces are pretty big. The inside is modern and clean. Although, there's only 2 registers at the counter and only 1 person was working it on a Friday afternoon. I don't understand why no one was manned at the other one taking orders since they had so many staff members in the back. That's my only knock on them. As for the food, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. I feel that Chick fil A has lost its luster over the years. I remember when they first came to California. It was a big craze, but now I feel that their fried sandwiches are a bit on the salty side and slightly dry. The grilled patty was dry and the texture reminded me of frozen patties. I do like their sweet teas and sauces, but feel that their food quality is not the same as before.

Personal on the drive through is so rude! Always making a mistake with my sandwich. And the drinks the same and I had to come back to get it prices are extremely expensive for the same sandwich.

It seemed like a good idea at the time as i had never tasted the food at Chick-fil-A (hereafter known as the Chick). But results of what i received via the atrociously situated take out line wrapping around State Street i have to judge as mixed. First of all i was looking forward to the grilled Chicken Nuggets and the Waffle Fries: both which arrived barely warm and rather tasteless. On top pf that as i should have known: bagged foods, especially bagged fried foods tend to be soggy when they arrive at their destination. And unfortunately this was the case with the Waffle Fries. Too bad because their waffle criss cross structure tends to travel well in that the slices have more structure and rigidity than do regular sliced fries. But why were they so bland? Fries in whatever configuration need to be salted and seasoned as soon as they come out of the fryer so that the flavorings "stick" to the meat of the potato. Not so here. The Grilled Chicken Nuggets were ok-good. I do not mind the rather haphazard portioning of each nugget order which means to me that a larger piece of chicken is sliced up to make an order of the Grilled Nugs. They probably use the Chicken Sammy portion to slice up. Smart move, business-wise but where is the salt and pepper? I nabbed a Fried chicken nugget from my nephew's plate and that was tastier: so an 11 year old out smarted me once again! So, pretty much what i tasted from here was not special, not tasty and mostly soggy. Whoever comes up with a way to package and transport fast foods without their turning soggy and lifeless will deserve whatever they earn from it! Billions, maybe? I'm surmising i need to enter a Chick-fil-a and eat in house to get the full effect. Maybe. Maybe not. Cheers!

This place is always consistent with fresh and tasty food. Chicken sandwiches good, waffle fries crispy, frosty coffee drink refreshing, and ample condiments, with paper straws for everyone. Thanks Annie and her staff for taking good care of us. And Ty (trainee) and Alexis were perfect hosts. Upper State Street between Las Positas and La Cumbre Center. Good parking too

Food is consistently amazing, staff is always so nice and friendly, and they love Bleu Boy!!

They have went straight to the bottom 1) orders are consistently wrong 2) service members are either incompetent or untrained 3) looks like they have lost their way

Great organized service! There were huge line but didn't slow customer a bit. Order and deliver all in the car with no mistake they will find u with your order. Their chicken sandwiches always good and personally I like the spicy one. Their chicken nuggets are real chicken meats with variety of sauce. You never have to worry about what sauce you need. They pack your bags with all sauce there is. Again great food and great service!

TOTALLY FLABBERGASTED!! We just went through the drive through this evening on our very long drive home. We sat in the drive through for 15 minutes and not a single person acknowledged our car, took our order, or asked if we'd been helped. We even pulled up to the window where yet again, not a single person acknowledged us. Instead, the four workers (including two workers in red striped shirts) decided to lollygag around and scream at each other from across the drive through. Totally unprofessional and shocking to see at a Chick-Fil-A.

Today y'all get a -5 I ordered an online to deliver 2x Order was not delivered and my $$ is gone! I need some answers

Delicious as always! Go to for fast food and the fries never disappoints. Must try the peppermint milkshake at least once. I don't really even like milkshakes because I prefer to eat and not drink my ice cream, but this one was pretty yummy and I had multiple sips of my partners drink!

Chicken Strips our always pleasing & satisfaction. Even the smallest orders are served with delight helpfulness cheerfulness at Chick-fil-A. They have something for everyone.

I'm a frequent visitor to this location and have never had an issue until this last time. I went through the drive through and did not receive one of the sandwiches I ordered. I went back and inside and asked at the counter and the cashier took care of it right away, he even threw in some extra goodies as an apology! We all make mistakes, and this gentleman was so kind in fixing the problem.

Worst drive-thru set up I have seen. My food was given to me and I still had 3 cars in front of me. By the time the other cars got there food and I was able to leave, my food was cold. Employees did nothing but sit there and say we can't do anything about it. Chick-fil-A was all about customer service not at this location.

The new cashier here is untrained. I had a female cashier and she was so rushing. She asked for what you want and then if you want to think for a second, she will ask you 2 twice or more to repeatedly rush you. Then at the end she dropped the number tag in front of me and won't offer to give me the receipt. I had to ask for the receipt, what is funny is that the receipt said the cashier is Kevin? Well unless the lady's name is Kevin!

This place used to be great. Not anymore. Last few times ive come here the chicken pattys are small and never hot. Fries are always cold. I see they just have stacks and stacks of fries sitting there cold ready to be served. What happened? This is not the chick fila I remember. Used to always have fat hot sandwiches and hot fries. Quality here went in the trash

This Chick-Fil-A has their lines move fast, they have great customer service and is quick at giving you your ordered meals. I always go for the grilled chicken nuggets and they're always hot and perfect. They do contactless payments and even give you an alcohol wet nap after giving you back your phone too. Great for on the go.

Accidentally got the wrong order at Chikfila last time we went. Order was very similar looking to ours. I discovered that they ordered better and fell in love with a few new items from the menu! I rediscovered the Spicy Chikfila sandwich. It had a huge, juicy and hot filet! They ordered it plain, with no pickles...delicious I learned that ice cream in a cup with strawberry topping can be ordered at Chikfila. Maybe this is a sundae, not sure (check menu)...also really good The fries were also cooked perfectly today, and didn't taste dry. I was hungry and really enjoyed my meal. I will be ordering these new (to me) items again. (Breakfast here is worth getting as well "Chicken, Egg and Cheese biscuit" plus hashbrowns)

The foods decent and it comes out pretty quickly. Kind of over priced. I mean I wish at least the combos were like reasonable or something.

I bought a chicken Sandwich for the first time in the drive thru. It was 15& in wonder bread hamburger bun! Thank God , I didn't get fries and a drink! I should've gone to the T-off for that price. I don't see what people see in in that. Also it was that great. I should have made it my self, the drive thru service was good &

This location sucks. In addition to their declining food quality, indifferent, rude and poorly trained employees and their inability to get an order correct, their company's chairman purchased "shoe-shine" packages for its store managers, which was apparently meant to remind them to feel "contrition, humility, shame and embarrassment" for the history of slavery throughout the US. When this location first opened, they were fantastic. They hired employees who were friendly, polite, and intelligent. Now, it's almost certain when you drive through, they will get your order wrong. They will also make you wait forever. And to top it off, their food will be lukewarm and not fresh. The chicken just isn't that good anymore. Nor is the service. Go woke, go broke. Used to come here at least once a week, we will not return. EVER. Who the heck owns and manages this location?
