Chick-fil-A Will Open Its First Seattle Location Next Week | Eater Seattle

"Opening its first Seattle location on Thursday, June 27 near the intersection of 130th and Aurora in Bitter Lake (12801 Aurora Ave N), Chick-fil-A brings its line-drawing menu—and its controversies—to the city. The chain remains red-hot even though its other area locations are technically outside city limits; prior openings have drawn long lines and traffic congestion, with customers even camping out overnight in Federal Way, so the scene at this new restaurant will likely be similarly insane. At the same time, the chain carries significant baggage: president Dan Cathy’s history of anti-gay bigotry, the company’s millions in donations to groups that oppose same-sex marriage and practice gay conversion therapy, Cathy’s statement that he and his company support “the biblical definition of the family unit,” and his later backdown after a media storm. Critics such as Eater’s Ryan Sutton argue that the company’s corporate purpose to “glorify God” accompanies what he calls “a pretty average chicken sandwich.”" - Megan Hill

Crazy parking. Slow service. Got our order wrong. New pretzel club is small and didn't have anything on it except cheese, lettuce and tomato. The lettuce looked like seaweed and the tomato slices were not much better. I've seen worse at windys but come on. Why bother putting such on a sandwich? The "pretzel bun" is barely bigger in diameter than a standard waffle fry. Picture added for proof. Nothing like the advertisements on TV. We also ordered 2 spicy chickens with extra pickles and only 1 had a pickle whereas the other one was devoid of pickles. Just a small but with a breaded chicken patty. Picture added for proof. Nearly $13 for a plain jane chicken patty, fries and a drink. You have to order 2 sandwiches to get full since they are so small. Worse Chick-fil-A experience to date and we've eaten at a lot of Chick-fil-As across a few states.

I would say expectations were high. The restaurant has a very limited menu. I placed my order online. This was my first time trying the restaurant. I decided on the spicy chicken sandwich (deluxe), fries, soda, and a chocolate shake. The chicken was not spicy and I couldn't tell the sauce's flavor. The lettuce wilted. The fries were already cold when given to me. The chocolate shake barely tasted of chocolate. Get ready to get creative with parking as the place is super busy with drive through customers. A little too hectic for me. I had to ask for my drinks more than once. Condiments were missing but that was an easy fix. Not worth the wait and trouble, unfortunately. The staff kept their cool. That place was busy!

This location was busy when I walked in. I knew right then that it was going to be good. And it sure was. The service was so fast, got the signature my pleasure. The chicken sandwich was crispy and juicy, and hit the spot. The fries were also hot and crunchy. My family would come back to this location, best Chick-fil-A i’ve been to so far!

The quality of the food has drastically gone down. Raw chicken dishes are mixed up with regular dishes and trash room is always full. Multiple staff including management assembling orders without hairnets or gloves. On numerous occasions fried foods and Mac n cheese are served after their shelf life and each employee is instructed to under fill sides to save money. Chick fil a on Aurora was the best place for food at one point but upon changing their policy of never using chickens with antibiotics to never using chickens with anti biotics that affect human health. domore research and you’ll also find studies talking about the forever chemicals and how the beloved chick fil a sandwich has 55 ingredients. The company donates to anti lgbt groups

This morning, we got to the drive-thru at exactly 10:30am. Thankfully, the line was short. I ordered a deluxe sandwich with no tomato and Colby Jack cheese. After waiting 10 minutes in the drive-thru for the deluxe sandwich (we ordered other items but the sandwich took a while), we finally got our meal. They gave me pepper jack instead of colby jack, so I went back in to have it corrected. I wait 5 more minutes for them to give me a sandwich with American cheese rather than colby jack. I’m home and eating my sandwich when I taste pickle, an ingredient not meant to be in the deluxe sandwich. Their staff was friendly enough, but it doesn’t excuse the lag and mistakes of those assembling the food.

Owner operator Danielle Cannella was unwilling to do more than give me a free cookie after having paid for food, drove to pick it up, and realized after getting home some food items were missing. A $2 cookie was offered for time spent, gas and not receiving what was ordered. Unacceptable level of support from this store. Mind you, I have the highest level of loyalty on my account.

Chicken on their burgers is so juicy and soft, it's crazy how good they are. The waffle fries are off the hook. The service is impeccable, so incredibly efficient and friendly. This is a great example of how well oiled a business can be with the right training and incentive. It's ALWAYS busy at the drive thru and the parking lot is always packed with dining in customers as well but you would never know they were that busy with how fast you get your order taken and receive your food.

Mary ( I’m assuming her name from the receipt) did an amazing job taking my order!! Super fast and efficient. She called me pretty and I didn’t get the chance to tell her that I thought she was beautiful too!!
