"What It Is: Another spot for the fried chicken and sour cocktail specialists of Haggerston and Covent Garden. Perfect For: Casual Weeknight Dinner, Quick Eats, Lunch, Catching Up With Mates, Big Groups The aesthetic here has a touch of the Meatliquors about it. The darkness and neon caught us as soon as we walked in and before we knew it we were eating a lot of food that’s simultaneously tasty and indistinguishable from the last thing you ate. We went a little OTT on the old chicken - burger, wings, toast - and every part of the bird sort of turned into one. Not that it ended up clucking, but it all kind of tasted sickly, sweet, and spicy. Side dishes of aubergine and watermelon were good enough to cut through this fog of flavour though. I had a good meal there, it’s nice to get the Asian twist on simple deep fried chicken shops. Price might be a bit high but you do get the quantity. The aubergine starter was amazing too, although it might be a bit salty on its own. I almost want a bowl of rice to go with it.

These chicken wings have really bad Asian fusion flavors, they use tiny bit of Asian ingredients, and called themselves 'korean inspired'. Seriously, does the chef even tried those sauce before putting them on the wings?

There are a few of these around London, and they're some of my favourite restaurants. Good fried chicken burgers and a great selection of cocktails. It's pretty mid-range price wise, likely to cost in the £30 range per-person with a cocktail. The music here is loud, so it's not a great place for a date, but good for a night out with friends. It's fairly new to upper street (opened September 2018) so it's their newest location - give it a try!

If you've had the pleasure of eating at either of the other two chick n sours sites, (haggerston or seven dials), then youll have a jist what to expect. These guys have mastered fried chicken, and by tweaking the menu over recent months are sure to keep you on your toes again. The venue has their hallmark all over it, trendy cool atmosphere with a laid back vibe. The food again is on point, must try is the chicken toast!!! This is the place to go, for groups or that date you've been building yourself up for. Congratulations to David & Carl, and all their team, you've done it again 🙏🏼♥️

We’re lucky to get one of two tables outside in the evening sun. The service was really friendly and attentive. The food was delicious - really tender chicken and flavoursome sauces. Been to their Hagerstown branch too where we had similar experiences. Solid :)

Restaurant was ok - whilst staff were friendly, drinks did take a while to come and had to ask several times. Food service was quite slow, some people had theirs a significant time before others. Beef dripping fries were a let down, just tasted plain.

Quality wings, one of the best around...and the chicken toast my new favourite product....don't waste your time of tenders eat a load of Kung paid wings...if you have space for a burger good luck....they are huge and delicious

I’m a veggie and would rate this place average at best. Service was pretty slow and it seemed like they just couldn’t be bothered. Food was average, just nothing to it. A bit of lettuce and pickled onion. Would not come back

They really mean tender when they call this dish chicken tenders! Seriously, some of the juiciest chicken I've ever had. And it's the best when it's nice and hot. Although the chicken was still really crispy, it also didn't feel too heavy.

Very delicious fried chicken! I also really appreciated the Asian spin on many of their dishes. My friend and I split the chicken tenders with sriracha sour cream, as well as the Seoul Destroyer chicken sandwich. It was more than enough for us to share, but we also saw two people next to us order two fries, two burgers, a starter to share, and they each had their own sours as well! It really depends on how hungry you are, but we had a good amount of food and it was fairly cheap between my friend and me. We enjoyed the place and the service very much!

Amazing chicken- had a selection of fried chicken and all three types of wings. Everything was beautifully cooked. Tried the Mexinese nachos, tortilla chips, green chillis, cheese, a bit of Kim Chee and beef, fantastic! Tasty cocktails and great service.
