Chicken Holiday

I ordered 5pc boneless wings, with fries. The food was fried fresh, not sitting around. The chicken was very nicely breaded, and crunchy. I love straw fries, so these were perfect. Nice, hot, and crispy. Not soggy. Also hot sauce, and other condiments are included. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Didn’t receive food and they are open, called them and the hung up , don’t order at all.

What dirty establishment. I order a chicken sandwich combo. This had to be the only restaurant that makes sandwiches that I've ever seen in my life that doesn't offer lettuce and tomato... Of course I learn this after paying. I ask him if he at least has cheese at which point he says yes and starts handling everything with his bare hands unwraps a cheese single and smushes it on the bread and picking a french fry off the floor. I walked out and I don't get disgusted easily.

Never received my food, ordered from them and I was asked from door dash or ect., I ordered from them, not any other company, now I am out $21.00, I am retired and have limited money, this is ridiculous

I love this place. I went here as a kid with my dad, now I bring my kids here. The chicken is so fresh and newly made right in front of you. I highly recommend this place. They have been around for almost four decades.

I went to a one year olds birthday party in Parlin that had catered fried chicken and rice from your restaurant! It was the best seasoned, crispiest chicken I have ever tasted. I live quite a distance away but am now obsessed and determined to have more. It was delicious!😋

Ordered fried chicken from here and it was fantastic!!!! You can tell they did not use dirty or old oil. Texture was perfect and flavor was out of this world! There does not seem to be many comments on this place, but this is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! This place is definitely a hidden gem!!! Places like this deserve your patronage! PS I am ordering again tonight!!!!! 😂😂😂😂

We only have the luxury of ordering out every few months. Today we got chicken holiday and the food arrived tasteless and oil soaked. The mashed potatoes and gravy and especially the chicken had no taste. The owner would not refund the food and said to throw it out. I agree it belongs in the garbage but why should I have to spend my lil bit of money to throw away food. Owner was unapologetic and said he has best food in town by far.

Good and service were great! The cheeseballs are a must try. Great family deals. I have a large family and there's definitely something for everyone here. You will not be disappointed!

Best chicken sandwich in town! Oh and also the owner Ram is a gem, this place is a must try!

We ordered delivery which is only the 2nd time in 3 weeks of quarantine and we were not disappointed. Chicken was good not greasy but the ribs were even better and huge! Came with coleslaw which was good and they substituted the french fries for mashed potatoes and gravy. The price was inexpensive and they have there own delivery guy so we didn't have the added cost of paying a service. I would definitely refer this place!

So glad I gave it a try. Is their food healthy? Decidedly no. Was is crave-able and delicious? Heck yeah. The buffalo wings were crunchy, juicy, and flavorful. They come with hot sauce on the side, but the buffalo flavor is already in the batter, which I thought was unique and tasty. (So yeah, sauceless buffalo wings do exist.) The jalapeño poppers were also crunchy and juicy, and cheeseballs were habit-forming. To the dismay of my arteries, I will definitely be back.

Buffalo wings with no buffalo/hot sauce. Owner telling me I don't know what buffalo wings are because he has been cooking them for 30 years. Huh? Plus, no air conditioning and a huge pile of raw chicken sitting out in the heat instead of being refrigerated. Stay away. Many better choices in Bayonne.

Wow amazing food it's a gem in Bayonne ! Worth to try it if not your missing a lot ! Better than the other fried chicken in the area I am sure that I will order there it's been my third time this week and it's so good your even lick the bones and fingers !!!

I wanted to sit down Guy behind counter Made me feel as if he was Rushing me and never asked " for here or to go"??? I thought he put my Root beer in the bag I get all the way home No soda First and Last time there !!!!!! Never again !!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted fried tonight. Fried is good. I read the reviews and noticed that the best one was from this year. Bad ones were from years past. Now let that sink in for a moment. Most of the reviews written were from 2013 and here we are on the cusp of 2017 and Chicken Holiday is still around. OK, let's give it a shot. The man ordered a "small" tub of fish & chips, a jumbo thing of Cole slaw, and an order of onion rings - that he offered to split. I ordered a chicken breast. The fish were rectangles of crispy goodness - ok, so it was a rectangle, could be worse. The fries were generous, fried goodness - hot, crispy, not overly salty. I could have eaten just those. Onion rings were not enough of - a little over done, but tasty. The chicken was fried to perfection. Where they lost it was that the chicken was bland. No flavor at all. I guess that's what y'all up north like, but usually you put something into the batter to give it some flavor. Eat24 said that they would deliver in 45-60 minutes. Text message said half hour. They arrived within 20 minutes. Hot, good, yummy. Look, I don't know what their store front looks like, but deep frying anything should kill whatever you are worried about. Me, I like dives. If you are a local dive that can survive and deliver good food, you are worth my time and energy to write this review.

These hot wings are dry and extremely salty! Ordered a tray of 40 wings for a little gathering at the house and everyone has been drinking water and juice hours after eating them! Never again.

All I have to say is WOW! Didn't think bayonne had chicken this good lol. Takes me back to the cali days sitting on the beach. The food taste GREAT and has great quantity. The chicken is the best way to end off my night!

Absolutely gross beyond what I thought chicken and ribs could ever be. We ordered the 5/5/5 and there was not one thing we even came close to finishing, 90% of it went in the trash. The ribs were fatty and disgusting tasting as if they were soaked in dirty dishwater or something. The skin on the chicken was gross and greasy beyond belief, the shrimp were nasty and tasted terribly unfresh. Potatoes were flavorless instant with terrible gravy. Ive eaten fried chicken before and this was vile as were the soggy fatty ribs.

I ordered a thigh, breast, boneless buffalo wings, potato skins, cheese fries & corn nuggets. Everything was delicious! The chicken was nice and juicy. The only thing is I wouldn't get is the cheese fries. I'm not a fan of the cheese. But overall everything was delicious!

I had dome of the freshest and bedt tasting chicken since I moved to Bayonne one and a half years ago. It was still hot and juicy when it was delivered. And the price can't be beat!

All Of Facebook if you want good chicken DONT ORDER FROM CHICKEN HOLIDAY! I ordered 15 boneless buffalo wings and I got plain chicken chunks of 10 with just blue cheese... Fried reg sized shrimp with tails and got baby shrimp... then 6 piece of corn nuggets and got 4. Now I tried to call back and ask the guy about the boneless buffalo wings and he tells me this is how it comes and he will send me hot sauce. I told him that I thought it was boneless buffalo and it should already come with sauce on it(cooked with the sauce). He got mad because I stated that. He started to get loud with me and very sarcastic. I started to raise my voice a little because now I was very annoyed, but then I told him I was not going to argue with him to just give me my money back. He told me no and hung up on me! Like this is how we conduct businesses this day and age?!?! What has AMERICA COME TO?! I seriously don't get it! If you don't want high blood pressure or aggravation or your MONEY STOLEN then do yourself a favor and skip CHICKEN HOLIDAY when your hungry!!! If I could put NO STARS I WOULD! But you have to select at least one!

Food was good and delivery was good but I ordered a side of broccoli.... should be more specific that it is fried broccoli and not just broccoli... I got it to have a healthy side not fried food ! And mashed potatoes were gross

Tried this place for the first time and will def not be going back. I called in an order for pick up and when I walked in the place it didn't look good and made me question ordering from there. Looked pretty gross and not a place I'd sit down to eat at for sure. The chicken was like soggy, not crispy and not good. This place will not be getting my business again- I much prefer the new planet wings that has opened in town. They are also much friendlier at planet wings.

This place is an absolute joke, from the front door to everything inside it is completely disgusting. After seeing the gross state of the inside I absolutely will never eat here. Their website has outdated prices on an old scanned menu. The owner was also incredibly rude when I came in. Avoid at all costs.

My husband ordered a bucket of 12 pieces of fried chicken. When he brought it home still stapled shut I counted 6 pieces for almost $18.00. DON'T go to this place. A total rip off.

me and my husband just tried this place for the first time and i dont recomend it to anyone i had the chicken fingers meal and he had the regular fried chicken meal and they were both not good at all only thing good was the corn fritters needless to say we will not be returning here
