Chicken Hut

I called this place about 5 times to place an order while I was driving to get ahead of time. I get there and ask the small hispanic there why was the trouble of ordering by the phone. For a moment maybe they change number or my phone was wrong. But once I got there I called the number and it rang. I ask the guy on register why they didn't pick up and gave me the shoulder and told him I would speak with owners not managment and said go ahead. Im Hispanic as well and felt offended. I know how mt vernon works but bro please if you have someone in charge of your business please have some dignity on customer service. Some people are on a time budget and try to get ahead of the game. Maybe a wake up call or saving on labor but trust me its not the right way hopefully you guys fix this because at the end of the day its a great spot but sometimes personal is not the right one.

Tall guy who works front is great. Food is delicious. Despite the location and people in the lobby hanging out, it's a great place to get your food and go

I like chicken yes I do but this chicken. Oh poo poo. ONE WORD: why did i get locked in bathroom. Also why didnt they serve linguine!!! But i also like fettuccine!!!!!!!!

Affordable and the cashier has a smile that will draw you back in the store. I've had good days and not so wonderful days/night with the food, but it's not too bad.

I went in this location today to get some sweet potato pies. The sign as soon as you enter says $1.99 however the worker tells me $2.70. I say the the worker that if you have a sign in your business that says a price you have to honor that price and change it after. He brushes me off in a very callous way and walks away and continues his task as if I’m not standing there. So I asked for the manager. He comes out after much waiting and then looks at the sign and mumbles something and then walks away. After a few more minutes of now standing there and no interaction I asked where did he go and both workers are gonna say that the manager went home. I’m like why are you lying to my face and I was just talking to him. So the worker who was being rude to me from the begging now starts to laugh and saying things in Spanish to his colleagues and then says to me that the manager is not gonna give it to me at that price. Out walks the manager at that time with a paper in his hand and now he changes the sign to the price he told me it was. They are very rude at this location and it’s because they been there so long that they know no one is going to do anything so they don’t treat you with.

I arrived at 1:30am, the information posted should be updated if the store does not close at 1:45am. Misleading information equals bad service. Keep info updated to save ppl time and effort.

I ordered 2 lamb gyros, one with french fries. It was a takeout order. As soon as I got home, I noticed the meat was red, like the halal chicken, but I continued to eat. I was right it was chicken. I would have preferred you tell me you didn't have it so I could have ordered something else. I called the shop to let them know, and the Spanish cashier tried to tell me it was chicken when I know there is a taste difference between the two!!! There used to be different people running the restaurant and the food was better than it is now!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!! Only authentic Greek restaurants for authentic Greek gyros for this lady!!!! Thank you Chicken Hut!!!!

Great food for the price, cashier was Polite and friendly Will be coming back
