Chicken Kitchen

By far, my favorite chicken kitchen. I had a great experience today as I ordered my lunch. Yadira was great as I bothered her for extra skin and very friendly. Daniella was nice enough to dice my chicken thinly, and Natalie was very pleasant at the register as I asked for extra sauce. I would definitely recommend going here for lunch or dinner. The food was very fresh and hot.

I'll start by saying I had not had chicken kitchen in over two years because I was just not satisfied with the food or the service so I gave it a try. I Ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl not only did they charge me for a peppers, onions and corn as an extra charge. They failed to place it in there. Did not provide Pita bread with any of the three bowls, no cilantro garlic sauce and not even utensils. Overall shitty experience. This was an online order and all the ingredients and extra items were clearly stated on the receipt.

They offer healthy fast food that's already made. It's a good choice if you want something fast and healthy. It's usually not very full, so there's always seating. They have regular tables and comfy large booths.

This location shares space with another quick serve restaurant and the seating area is shared. I was looking for something quick, but not greasy fast food and this was an easy park order and go off of route one headed back towards Miami. The service was friendly, and I was in and out in minutes.

This is the closest location to my house, so I come here often. This has turned into the worst Chicken Kitchen in Miami. The lady behind the counter acts like she doesn't want to work there and skimps on the chicken. When you ask for sauce they give you an attitude like if it's coming directly from their paycheck. And they fill the sauce cups halfway so ask for extra. For some reason, this location is more expensive than the others. It must be under new management because the customer service has gone downhill over the past year. I won't be coming to this location anymore.

I will start by saying the service could not have been worse. The lady taking our order seemed really annoyed that we were there; seemed annoyed by everything we ordered and really skimped on the plates. Spending over $30 for two, quarter filled bowls at a fast food restaurant seems a bit steep. Chicken was unfortunately dry, rice was good. Usually have the garlic cilantro sauce but they were out of it. We live close by to this location on 42nd Ave, however we decided we will likely go to the South Miami location instead and try our luck. Disappointing experience all around. Hope some changes will be made in the future. We typically swing by at least twice a week but it's been missing the mark for a while now.

Placed online order and arrived at the store 10 minutes after its order was scheduled to be ready and they hadn't even started it. Food was mid at best and definitely not worth the 35 minute wait. There's definitely better options out there, would recommend you find one of them.

Quality of food as depreciated through the years. One of the selling points was the sauce island they took that away they don't even give you a cup for water. They force you to buy bottled water, no pita bread ever. Place is run down ceiling tiles are dirty. The only thing they got going is the friendly staff.

Only reason I give them 3 stars os because they only give you half a chicken breast (if you're lucky) and charge way too much..

I placed an order through UberEats, a kids chop chop and a LARGE order of chopped chicken. They charge $18 for a large order of chopped chicken and I got a small soup container of chicken, which knowing how Chicken Kitchen functions, I probably paid $18 for 1 breast of chicken. Not UberEats' fault but how does this situation get resolved? I called the chicken kitchen (US1 and LeJ) I ordered from multiple times and no one answered the phone. Not only did I get gipped on the chicken order, but they didn't follow directions on the order. Such a rip off. The restaurant is the one that should be penalized when the order arrives incorrectly. Do yourself a favor and don't order from this location, not the first time something like this happens with them.

The Chicken Kitchen was a place we'd stop to pick up lunch and dinner at least twice a week. The food is healthy, the staff always friendly and the portions were fair BUT something changed. Who did they hire in management that changed things? It's not the same and I don't know if I'm willing to risk going back after being served stingy portions on my last visits. It's not about the money because CK is not cheap to begin with. On my last 3 visits, I felt I was being taken advantage of as a loyal customer. Now I see someone holding a sign outside to draw customers in and think to myself how sad it is that they're losing loyal customers only to now have to focus on getting new ones. All because of greed.

I usually pick up food here on Thursday evenings on my way home from work. Unfortunately that tends to be just before their closing time but they've never been annoyed at my late coming. What can I say? I have a weakness for the deluxe!! The employees always greet with a smile, are friendly, and I've never felt rushed. No complaints on my end and I'll continue my usual Thursday routine.

I've attempted to accept this place for what it is, but they will no longer get my business. I can't go there anymore after 5-7 visits. Quite possibly the worst Chicken Kitchen in Miami. Horribly stingy with the portions; slow and rude service (with a couple exceptions); disorganized. A shame considering the dearth of healthy options in the area. The worst part is the manager who obviously micromanages all workers. He screams at them in front of the customers! It was tough to watch. It's so bad I would rather get pastries at the nextdoor Don Pan or a microwave burrito at the quickie mart on the same block. Two thumbs way down. Sad. I could be an almost every day regular if they didn't suck so bad.

Not sure why this place has a low rating. It offers pretty healthy food, good portions, and the sauces are amazing. I got the Oriental bowl and the chicken tasted great! You can also sub your rice for brown rice if you want to go even healthier.

Buyer beware. I have been going there for over a year. The meat portions have been getting smaller and smaller. Today was the last straw, usually, you get a half breast cut in half for $7 which is very expensive. Today it was a piece of chicken no larger than 2 inches square cut in half. He then put some of it back. I complained and he said look the cup is full and I further complained and nothing Totally ripped off will never go back. For $7 you doent evern get enogh food to feed a 3 yaer old

Chicken kitchen is always fresh and good and this one was status who. The service was very slow but friendly. This chicken kitchen has serve yourself sauces in pumps so you don't have to ask for little cups like other locations. This one has been here a long time and shares the building with Bon Pan a Cuban bakery/eatery. The restaurant has locked restrooms and I'm not a fan of asking the guy making my food to hand me a key that has been hamdl d by every bathroom patron.

This is the slowest fast food assembly line in town! Mind you this is a pretty straight forward concept but they take forever!! They are also really cheap with their portions and not to mention their AC is broken so expect to sweat while you eat. Unfortunately food is decent (pretty difficult to mess up grilled chicken breast with lettuce and tomatoes) and they close late so we end up coming here sometimes as there are mo many options in the area. Don't come here unless you really have no other options!

I've been to many Chicken Kitchens. This one was great! There was no line, the food was hot, the service was great, the curry sauce was amazing!!!

Get the chicken skin on top. It may very well just change your life. I ordered the chicken skin on top. Believe it or not, it changed my life very much for the better.

Old dry chicken ordered extra chicken on 2 orders and didn't get it! Also had burnt dry chicken that couldn't be eaten ! I also didn't get my 10 percent off 1st order a few weeks ago. I will not order again!

They're beyond greedy with the chicken portions they serve and the employees dont wear gloves when handling your food... enough said. If you want way more chicken and better service go down the road to 3 chefs

My food here is always cold tired to give my brunt chicken... waited 30 mins when there was one person in front of me... unprofessional... service sucks

Don't go! If possible, I will give -5! I used to order from the store on red road, the time I order from here is RIDICULOUS! They gave extremely small portion comparing the red road one! Look at the extra chicken they give me! Totally joke!

They gave me a chicken burrito when I specifically told him I'm vegan and I need it to be vegan just veggies I threw up for like ever seemed still haunts me now;(

I'm a big fan of Chicken Kitchen the franchise in general. Good food and it's cheap. I'm giving this location 2 stars. When I went earlier today, the manager couldn't comprehend something simple and was saying what I wanted required purchasing extra chicken. In the 10+ franchises i've gone to around Miami, it had never been an issue. Not going back

We have ordered delivery from here several times. I got the chopped chicken on a bed of lettuce (I am on a diet). It's hopefully healthier than a pizza. They deliver and with Miami's Best Pizza no longer available this is our go to delivery call. Is it great? No. Shorty's is 100x more delicious. But it's fair to good and unless and until there's better place that also is healthier and delivers in Coral Gables-- it's the best place I know. If you have the strength to go out skip this place entirely.

This has to be the most portion control I have ever seen. They ration the lettuce and tomato as well. For a sale chop chop I paid $8 and the bowl wasn't even full. Manager had a terrible attitude as well. Will never come back to this location.

Stopped for Sunday salad while in the area. Bathrooms are disgusting with no toilet paper. Service from the 1 employee left a lot to be desired. Place is desolate, uninviting and will never see me again!

Words can't explain how sick I am right now when I mean a video tell you everything here you go this is why YOU SHOULD NEVER MIX CHEMICALS with FOOD YOU EAT. I love chicken kitchen, but not from this location. Never again. I've never be treated so poorly or have experienced such rude customer service. I placed an order for two chop chops for delivery. Not more than 30 seconds passed and I called back to add to the order. I thought all is well. Food shows up. I'm charged for delivery twice, even though all the food shows up at the same time. I was never advised of the second charge. When I called back I get two excuses from the so called shift supervisor. 1) We couldn't add to the original receipt since it was already printed. We would have to void and create a new one. 2) the order was already made and the driver left with your food and we had to call him back. In speaking with the shift supervisor, I asked if someone calls back to add to an order they are automatically charged an additional charge, her response was I was the only person to have done that, so apparently I'm the only person to have a change of mind....oh wait, I was adding to an order therefore creating more revenue, so I feel I shouldn't have been penalized the additional delivery fee. And one thing that should be pointed out. Both my receipts show the same exact time 7:09pm. So in 30 seconds two chop chops were made and the delivery person ran out the door. I don't know about you, but when I've ordered chop chop in person, it takes longer than 30 seconds for one to be made, let alone two and prepared for delivery. Should I be concerned???? This may sound petty to some.....and if so my apologies. I took the time to share the details because yes I believe for a delivery charge of 2.50, why should I make a big deal.....I'm making the big deal about the way I was treated when I called back to inquire as to why I was being charged. Not many people would waste their time to point that out, but it's a principle thing. How many others have been taken advantage of. Maybe this will help correct the problem. And just maybe customer service will be addressed at this location.

Worst experience I've had by far. The man making my food had NO gloves on and I saw his fingers go into my food. He placed my chicken on the damp surface that he just "cleaned". And then when he finished with my food, there was an extra piece of chicken left and he grabbed the piece with his bare hand and put it in his mouth, only to take it straight out of his mouth and throw it on the floor. Absolutely disgusting. I obviously threw away my food and will never go back to this Chicken Kitchen.

I love the Chicken Kitchen franchise in general, but this particular location is horrible because of the rude and unprofessional staff working there. It's hard to believe a place located right between Coral Gables and Coconut Grove has such a lousy service.

I love Chicken Kitchen but this location needs to improve it seems that the start changing additional item that i didn't asked. the place looking kind dirty. I prefer to buy a sub on downstair

Very good food, affordable and very latin taste, i recommend it, we slways going to the one in aventura mall. The chicken chop is delicious. I recomend it.

I come to this Chicken Kitchen every so often. Today took the prize for worst customer service. It was so cold in the sitting area that it was unbearable for my family to stay. We asked the manager if he could make it a little warmer but his answer was a flat out "NO". He said, if he raises the temperature he would be hot behind the counter next to the stove. I guess his customers don't matter. What's important is that managment is comfortable. We left. Last time I come here!!

This was a quick stop and I have to say that the customer service I received tonight was like no other. Tyrone Simms went above and beyond. He was courteous and extremely polite. I even thanked him for being so polite. Now a days it's hard to find people that are polite and so courteous. Thank you for a great experience!! He surely is an asset to your Le Jeune store!

I don't know why I expected this to be an amazing place. Mediocre food at a mediocre price. It legit tasted like cafeteria food. My 'chicken' tasted shady, the rice was overcooked, and the dressing from the actual chicken grease was all over my chop chop.

I love chicken kitchen but this location just isn't good. I've had hair in my food three times. I was told to come back the last time I found hair in my food for a complimentary meal. I finally came back after two months because I couldn't come back sooner since I was disgusted with my previous experiences. When I finally went back, the manager was extremely unhelpful and rude. I ended up leaving with out food after about 15 minutes of him dreading helping me. He was in disbelief that there was hair in my food and made me feel like it was all my fault. Won't be visiting this location again!!!!

Today was the second time I've been to this location and they've served undercooked chicken. Ew ew ew. $6 down the drain.

The food is always great. The delivery is prompt and everyone is very kind and respectful. Victor is amazing!! He goes the extra mile for every customer.

Our office decided to order from this Chicken Kitchen and what a let down. We placed our order at around 11:30AM. At about 12:30PM we called to make sure the delivery was on it's way. Victor, the general manager said the delivery man Jorge was 6 minutes away. That he had 9 deliveries and we were delivery 7. We called a third time because it was past 1pm and to our surprise Victor then said he had not received an order from us. I explained to him our previous two phone calls and he was rude, arrogant and called our coworker a liar. How can this be the general manager of a store when he can't even be corteous or apologize for his mistakes. He then said it was our mistake because we had probably ordered to another store location. This is truly an emberassement and lack of professionalism. Don't order from here, they might just get your order wrong or like it happened at our office, we never received it because they did not do their job and write it down or followed up porperly when we called a second time. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!

First time and I'll be back. Fresh ingredients and good blend of everything. I had the bazooka chop chop, which is the Mexican with guacamole. Prices were reasonable and they prepare the food before your eyes.

I eat here at least 2 times a week if I can. It's my instant pick me up. I get the mini chop which is just yellow rice and chicken with the curry sauce. It makes me happy. I love it.

Newest Chicken Kitchen location in Coral Gables. Located at the intersection of LeJeune Road and US1, it shares space with Don Pan bakery. Always happy to see places serving healthy eats open up. Good job guys. The place already seems pretty busy.

The best ever! Victor de Jesus does a great job! Also the cleanest chicken kitchen I've ever been to. Wonderful staff from Mama in the back to Janet and the girls in the front! Best chicken kitchen by farrrrr! Phenomenal job every day by Victor and his staff. Many congrats on a job well done day in and day out!!

Not sure why there were such negative reviews. My fiancé and I have ordered a multitude of times and it's always been great. The best is that they also deliver! The chicken has always been cooked well, order is correct, delivery people friendly, and usually the delivery comes faster than they say it will take them.

I have to say my friends intruduced me to this Chicken Kitchen location when I moved down for work and I go at least 3 to 4 times a week. As soon as you walk in you get greated by everyone, the food looks fresh, and the place is clean. I'm big on what I eat and how the establishment is kept, but the manager there is always on top of everyone on cleaning, washing hands, and keeping the food rotating fresh and thats a plus. The down fall is that in lunch the line is long, but its worth the wait because the food there is delicious.

Ripped off, Worse place in town. Way too little chicken. It is absurd how little food they gave me an I paid almost $10
